Cole Puffinburger, 6 years old, was allegedly kidnapped Wednesday when two men pretending to be police officers entered the family home and searched the place. They tied up the boy’s mother and her boyfriend and took off with Cole when they apparently couldn’t find any money. Cole is described to have blond hair and blue eyes. He wears eye glasses with a silver rim on them and he is 3’11” tall and weighs about 48 lbs.
An Amber Alert has been issued but was delayed because the police didn’t have a reliable description or vehicle. They now have something new now. They didn’t know earlier anything about a third man involved in the kidnapping but no they say it was indeed a third man involved and all three were Hispanic and they all have accents. Police do think that significant money and drugs are involved in this case.
Police now believe that the boy’s grandfather can lead them to the boy but the grandfather was last seen in Memphis or Southaven, Mississippi. Clemens Fred Tinnemeyer. 51, of Las Vegas is believed to be involved in drug dealing with Mexican nationals and the boy’s kidnapping was a “message” Tinnemeyer has not been seen since May and has been reported as missing since September 11. Police say that he was driving a white Dodge pick-up truck with Mississippi license tag #KAG 251.
Police say that Tinnemeyer possibly could have moved to Memphis months ago. He also owns a 30 ft. motor home, which is a 2006 Valencia with Nevada plates 665 VFN. The motor home is a beige color. Police say Tinnemeyer is not wanted at this time but they would like to talk to him because they think he knows who kidnapped little Cole since he owes them money.
Anyone seeing Tinnemeye’s truck please call your local police immediately or you can call the Las Vegas Police Department at 702-828-3111.
Let’s hope this child is found soon and that he is alive and well. My prayers are with you Cole.

Follow-up comment rss or Leave a TrackbackI hope alerts or some form of contact with authorities in the states of Mississippi or Tennessee for the grandfather is in the works. I’m sure finding him would be a great resource of information on Cole’s whereabouts. To the family of Cole, don’t give up hope or lose faith!
Ah forget the amber alerts. Thisis all about Mexican drug cartels and bad people. Now they’ve got a kid involved. Keep it simple, deliver the kid within five hours or F-15s start blowing up Mexican border towns. No negotiation, no hesitation, kill thousands until they get the message. Enough is enough.
I have to say I woke up in the middle of the night last night and turned on the news. I saw this story and my heart is broken. I have a 7 year old son that reminds me of this beautiful boy, and I can’t even imagine what the parents are going through. My prayers are with Cole as he goes through this confusing ordeal that he comes home safe, and can begin to heal. I check every few minutes for news and pray to God to spare this child.
We need to pray for Cole, and his safe return. That God may soften the hearts of the kidnappers.
what the heck!!!! these drug dealers are out of line!!!! a inncent boy i only pray he is unharmed, being from the old school where gangsters didnt harm family especially women and children, this is outrageous hopefully they have some heart and dont harm him, prayers to his family god blss amen!!
That is horrible!! My heart just dropped to the ground when I read this news. My son looks so much like him, I get goose bumps looking at the picture. I lived in the border town with Mexico my whole life. They are getting desperate because the own Mexican president is trying to bring down the cartels. Unfortunately, innocent people, children, get taken to show they still hold power over everyone. I really do hope they don’t hurt him and only did this to scare everyone. I do hope they find the grandfather so he can spill the beans and authorities (or any compassion person) can go and get their families, not hurt them, but to scare those jerks and release that poor little boy. I do believe we need to get tough and play an eye for an eye because Mexican drug dealers care about money, not people, or even themselves. They rather die with pride than be brought down to justice.
I will pray for this precious child, may he be protected by the hand of God, which no one no matter how powerful they believe they are, are no comparison to power of God.
Frank Stein:
If you are planning to kill thousands of innocents mexicans and resolve the problem just by bombing our border cities, i recomend you strongly to stop consuming tons of drugs annualy. This problem can be resolved years ago, and thousand of mexican deaths never happened, and so much pain avoided.
Sorry for my english…
This is terrorism plain and simple. This must be dealt with at the national level with no mercy bought to the Mexican drug cartels…PERIOD.
The family of this poor little boy has been victimized by the grandfather and he also needs to be held responsible for this crime. But, lets face the reality that we live in America where these evil criminals face little real justice.
