API Editor Calls Phone Call “Shocking”
Though there has been no Mainstream Media report or investigation into Phillip Berg’s federal lawsuit, which the Obama campaign has chosen to fight in federal court.
A mid-size website, African Press International, is reporting that it received, what API called, a “shocking” phone call from Michelle Obama yesterday concerning its reporting.
- Bloggers who question Barack Obama’s citizenship or ask questions about it are “racists”, according to API.
- API was offered an invite to an Obama inauguration ceremony “if they write a good story”
- Obama was adopted by his Indonesian step-father, according to API.
African Press International which describes itself as “A “Daily Online News Channel” established on 30th.September 2006 by Rainbow Foundation (NGO) Reg.no. 976593510 and The Chief Editor who is a Member of Investigative Reporters and Editors”.
The API story is titled, “Shocking development: Mrs Obama decides enough is enough: “My husband was born in Hawaii and adopted by his step father, does that make him unpatriotic; she asks”, on a direct telephone to API.”
Accusing API of colluding with American internet bloggers in an effort to bring down her husband, Mrs Obama said she decided to call API because of what she termed, API’s help to spread rumours created by American bloggers and other racist media outlets “in their efforts to damage a black man’s name, saying she hopes African Media was mature enough to be in the front to give unwavering support to her husband, a man Africans should identify themselves with.”
The API editor was taken aback, it would seem, when Michelle Obama’s was
“angered” by API’s reporting and told the editor “African press International is supposed to support Africans and African-American view”.
When API told her that our online news media was only relaying what the American Bloggers and other media outlets had discovered through their investigations, Mrs Obama was angered and she came out loud with the following: “African press International is supposed to support Africans and African-American view,” and she went to state that, “it is strange that API has chosen to support the racists against my husband. There is no shame in being adopted by a step father. All dirt has been thrown onto my husband’s face and yet he loves this country. My husband and I know that there is no law that will stop him from becoming the president, just because some American white racists are bringing up the issue of my husband’s adoption by His step father. The important thing here is where my husband’s heart is at the moment. I can tell the American people that My husband loves this country and
“his adoption never changed his love for this country. He was born in Hawaii, yes, and that gives him all the right to be an American citizen even though he was adopted by a foreigner; says Michelle Obama on telefon to API.”
According to the story, it wasn’t all anger and admonitions in the phone call.
Michelle Obama offered a “sweetener” if the African news site would get in line behind Barack Obama–an invitation to a possible Obama inauguration ceremony!

I had two thoughts as I read this:
1) if it is true, then Barack Obama is ineligible to be President of the US…and both the reporter and Michelle Obama need to step forward to clarify this. Both she and her husband are lawyers and OUGHT to be aware of the requirements to become President. Maybe law schools have been slipping…God knows they put out enough lawyers that bad ones are bound to get through.
2) it isn’t true, in which case the phone records of African Press International will prove or disprove the incoming call.
In the words of Henry Kissinger,”Trust, but Verify.” It definitely isn’t rocket science to get phone records. Then “The Truth will set you free.”

It’s laughable. Call Obama a socialist, a hidden muslim, a radical, the most left leaning democrat in the history of all presidential candidates, call him a liar and the master of smears. But you can’t call him dumb. And his wife isn’t going to ruin all his chances to get elected by calling an obscure website whom nobody ever heard of to rant over some bloggers who are making up conspiracy theories.
The presumption of innocence – being innocent until proven guilty – is a right that everbody has - even politicians, and even if they are democrats. So the burden to proof this accusations is clearly on API’s side. As mentioned before it should not be that hard to proof. Either they have recorded the call or they can present phone records clearly showing where this call was made from. Until that happens it will only be one of those numerous rumors that are circulating the web.

I’m not saying this story about the phone call is true, but records will either prove or disprove. Of course the Obama campaign is going to say it’s bogus. Did you think they would agree with it?
I’ve been researching BO’s citizenship situation since the news of the Berg lawsuit arose months ago, and it was not fabricated by a bunch of right-wing bloggers. The suit against BO was brought by a Democrat Clinton supporter . . . an attourney and former DNC member who’d had enough of BO’s lies. He brought suit to have BO step down from the primary campaign until the situation could be cleared up. The court ordered the DNC to produce the papers and, months later, was me with a motion to dismiss. Since then the suit has been amended (strengthened) and resubmitted. We now wait again for the court’s decision and for BO’s response.
No. We’re not racist. I am a black man who would also like to get to the bottom of this and get the best person elected to lead the greatest country in the world. This is the only country that is, indeed, colour-blind and a man can realise his worth through hard work, not handouts.
I believe Obama will win the election and 3 times the current population will have voted for him
This smells just a little fishy. It reads a lot like those faxes I receive from Nigeria that ask for my bank account number. Even if true, I don’t think Nobamas congregation will pay any attention to it. I don’t think this is likely to affect the outcome of the election.
I don’t believe that the phone conversation took place or if it did, that it was really Michelle Obama who made the call.
Mrs. Obama is a smart woman — she wouldn’t blow her husband’s chances just to get back at a news organization. I smell a hoax….
Why doesn’t Sen. Obama simply comply with the request for proof. There is absolutely nothing wrong with someone questioning something of this magnification. This has nothing to do with race. Sen. McCain was asked to show proof also.

Note that Mr. Barack Hussein Obama DID NOT advance, as a defense to the lawsuit against him by Mr. Berg, the defense that he has already displayed his birth certificate on the Internet. The reason? It’s a fake. But it’s important to note that rather than suggest that he has already shown his birth certificate, Obama and the DNC responded with a motion to dismiss on ground that Mr. Berg does not have legal standing. Why? Why is it necessary for Barack Obama to hide and conceal information from the public?
It’s important to note also that the requirement for Obama to qualify PRIOR to the general election is a Constitutional requirement. This is the highest law; and certainly a federal judge, and the Courts, sworn to uphold that Constitution, is compelled to require Obama to qualify himself by proving all of the information that Mr. Berg suggests is needed to determine whether Obama is a natural born citizen OR NOT.
Also, the Secretaries of State in every state of America MUST require verifiable documentation as to whether any candidate is qualified for the office for which they are contending. If said Secretaries do not perform this legal duty, they may be subject to prosecution for dereliction of duty and other criminal acts.
People should realize that Barack Obama is a liar and a shady character: he has had all of his birth records sealed, his college records sealed, his health records sealed, records in Kenya sealed, and most other information and writings sealed. Obama is the antithesis of an honest and open person.

I lent it’s bieng stated in the American constitution that govern the state that every person whose parent from America(Mother/Father} at the age of 18yr’s can choose to be an American by birth.
Obama’s wife stated clearly that OB was born in Hawai. Being adopted by a stepfather can not sabotage him of being an American,if he is not a citizn why was he given the mandate to in the first place to contest the position to be a governor and later as a president,he did and lose that election becuase God was preparing him to becom a president in America,Obama is honest will always be it’s just that people want to use this mere propaganda to tanish his image he has toil for, he love’s America and American’s also love’s him infact everybody including the Republican’s.
