Caylee Anthony has been missing since mid June and now everyone except for the Anthony’s are saying the little girl is dead. Her mother, Casey Anthony has been named as a suspect now in Caylee’s disappearance. Casey refuses to talk to authorities and won’t tell anyone the truth about what happened to her daughter which is causing a public outcry from many angry citizens.
Equusearch will be returning to start their search once again. Deputy Director of Equusearch Mandy Albritton said, “This case has had such national exposure that I truly believe that if this baby was out there alive, someone would have seen her and brought her home by now. It’s been way too long for a little 3-year old to be missing.”
Another child that I reported about that was missing, five year old Giovanni Gonzalez, has been missing since August 15 when his mother dropped him off for a weekend visit with his father. At the end of the weekend when his mother, Daisy Colon went to pick up her son, she couldn’t get any answer at the door. When she finally contacted the police and they entered the apartment, the child’s father, Ernesto Gonzalez denied even having the child that weekend.
He was arrested and charged with child endangerment and was held on a $500,000 bail. His attorney, Lawrence McGuire, tried getting the bail lowered to $14,000 which is the amount Gonzalez has saved in the bank. The request was denied by Judge Howard Whitehead.
Now I hear this morning that yet another child has come up missing that suddenly disappeared out of the blue Thursday when her mother’s boyfriend took her with him and he stopped at a gas station in Detroit. Jamrul Hussain, told his girlfriend, Nilufa Begum that her two year old daughter, Tangena was in the car with him Thursday night when he stopped at the gas station for a pack of gum. He told the investigators that he left the little girl in the locked car but when he returned she was gone.
Hussain didn’t notify police right away though. He went and picked up Begun from work and told her what happened. Then they returned to the station to search for her but couldn’t find her. Then they called the police. Apparently the gas station does have a video of Hussain at the gas station but it doesn’t show his car there or the little girl.
Hussain was arrested for sexual assault against a minor in an apparent unrelated case. After seeing him on Fox 2 News the victim notified police. He is being interviewed by the police but it is not known if it is about the sexual assault case or about the missing two year old. He was held for 48 hours after Tangena disappeared while police tried to gather any clues they could about her disappearance.
I have a real problem with all these cases with the missing children. Who is protecting these little ones against the bad guys? When the guilty party is arrested and held, I see all the taxpayers money spent to give the arrested ones their “rights” but what about the rights of little Caylee, or Giovanni or Tangena. What about all the other children out there that are missing and never found that just disappear? I would love to name each and every one of them but there are too many so I chose these three. My heart and prayers do go out to each one of them though.
My question is how anyone can harm an innocent child. They can’t possibly defend themselves when attacked. They never asked to be brought into this world. They should not be made to suffer from the hands of some sicko that gets their thrills out of killing children.
To take the life of a child simply because the child was not fitting in with your lifestyle is no excuse. There are way too many childless families in the world today that would be more than happy to take an unwanted child in and raise them as their own and give them a good home. If only these sick people would realize that.
My final words here again are my prayers are with these children. May God Bless each and every one of them.

There is a huge foster care system in this country where children are housed and possibly abused until they are 18, and many go out and have more children that are turned into the system. There very few loving homes waiting for these children, and many parents are allowed visitation in between arrests and incarceration. It’s all tragic. Where is the line of loving people waiting to rescue these kids?
i feel like we should have stiffer laws when it comes to children being,killed raped,and abused and any other crimes against children,once you have harm a child you sure not receive a second chance,what chance did they give that child?I cannot understand once are convicted of sexual abusing a child,you serve sometime,get out of prison and then the next time end up murdering a child,I say instant death penalty for people who kill,rape, molest a child,there is no rehabilitation for people like that

There are so many facts that prove this little girl is dead. The presentation of the mother is no. 1. Who are we kidding, do you people believe this trash and the wasted time given her? No. 2, the fact that a large reward has been posted and no one has come forward with any information is a very good indicator, guess what, no one has seen Caylee. Duh! You well know that if anyone had information, the dollar signs would be working overtime and info would be in the right hands. Again, duh!!!!!!

We need a severe change in the way our rights are held in regard. When horrific crimes are committed against our angels, such as rape, torture, murder, and the evidence is there to where it’s very clear cut from the outset, I believe that these rights need to be removed and such criminals should be executed on the spot by law enforcement. After this happens enough times, and these filthy creatures see that their lives mean nothing to others (in the same way they hold no life sacred but their own), it will drastically reduce this trend. This country is ridiculously caught up in this b.s. drama about “we shouldn’t kill because others kill” when the truth of the matter is that there are people out there who simply shouldn’t be alive. We should not enable them to commit such heinous crimes by allowing them to continue to live. Unfortunately, people will only change their mind on this issue if they are directly affected by such a crime. Again, we need a change and we need it fast in our society.

cj: It is SO ridiculous - the whole vigil thing. LE suggested that it take place in the Ants house or backyard. But no! That way M would have to participate and as another clever blogger suggested - hide an onion in her hankie to make herself cry.
Instead there will be a caravan of freaks (that’s the Ants) followed by another caravan of freaks (media and protesters).
It’s possible that we won’t know where M is until after the vigil and the participants tell us if she was there or not.

And not only are the perpetrators assured of “their” rights, but bloggers and anyone else who stands up demanding justice for the children are called lynch-mobs and on a witch hunt.
Doesn’t bother me at all. I will speak for Caylee and any other missing, abused, or murdered child. It is my duty as a christian, as a citizen, and as a mother–and I take it seriously.
I will also complain about a system that checks on the welfare of an abused child, sometimes removes the child from the home, and then returns the child right back to the perpetrator to “keep the family unit in tact” or never checks on the child at all.
And no, I don’t care about any right of the perpetrator. IMO, all ‘rights’ went out the door as soon as the kidnapping, abuse, or murder occured.
Unfortunately and as morbid as it may sound, the GRAND DESIGN is exactly that. A GRAND DESIGN. Every species on this planet has it’s own “morbid” way of population control. All the way down to the tiniest ant. Unfortunately, the good go out with the bad at times, but if it wasn’t meant to be that way, it wouldn’t be that way. If the good lived on and on, we would be overpopulated and no one would ever pass. This doesn’t sound good, but it is what it is. Faith is important and the real life is after earth so to be taken early just means your work here was done. Age matters nothing when your time comes.
Just an afterthought, to be taken as an innocent child pretty much assures a path to be with the Lord. Later in life she may have turned into Casey and ended up an extreme sinner, in which she would possibly not end up with the Lord.

I wish they would bring back the firing squad as a death penalty and use it for anyone convicted of a crime against children, murder, rape and home robbery!

there are two states that still have firing squads, those being
Idaho, and Oklahoma.
In our state we have the option of death by hanging as does New Hampshire.
Lets all remember that we have a justice system inwhich there are certain rights guarantee. We need this for all. Casey will have her day in court and will receive the justice she deserves. I have faith in LE

I don’t blame God for the bad things. I believe in good, therefore I believe in bad/evil. I believe in God (a good force/entity/whatever you like) and therefore I believe in the Devil (a bad force/entity/whatever.
I believe we were put here with free will to choose. And everyday most of us choose. Do good or not?
We are challenged and hurt and damaged by bad stuff - everything from temptation, losing a job, to war, hurricanes, illness and crime. It’s how we deal with it that matters. It’s a challenge to who we are and what we will choose.
Now some people may not be able to choose - if you believe that some people are born with a mental illness, for example, that’s not their fault. So, what do we do about it? What do they do about it? If they know the difference between right and wrong (the vast majority) they still have a choice. If they don’t, (a small minority) then they are ill and need to be removed from society and cared for.
But M’s personality disorder is not like that. She may be a sociopath who lies and cheats and steals. But she knows darned well that killing is wrong and so is any form of child neglect. So in my opinion she chose to do something evil. And an innocent child suffered for it. That ain’t God’s fault. It’s M’s fault - she chose the ways of the “other side.”
If Caylee is not with us anymore we know Who she’s with now.
Truly I am not preaching. I am just expressing my opinions since the topic came up.
Maybe we can get some good to come out of what happened to Caylee. Maybe all of us should continue in the fight even when the out come of this beautiful girl is found. Instead of letting the images and horrors of these children fade and be forgetten. Maybe people like us can stand up and fight for the children who are disposed of like nothing by the parents. Most of the child safety laws and bills come about after cases like this that get so much media and public attention. Maybe make a Caylee’s law.

In the Bible the children all wanted to be right up near Jesus, tugging on Him, wanting His attention. One of the diciples said they needed to get the children away so that Jesus could prach and minister to the adults. And Jesus said “Suffer the little children to come unto Me, for such is the kingdom of Heaven.”
He also said “But whoever offends one of these little ones that believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hung around his neck and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.”
God isn’t taking these children. Please don’t blame these hideous crimes on God. I am sure He has to turn His face aside when He sees His little ones abused and murdered. He weeps along with us who weep for them.
God gave each of us a free will. A will to choose good or evil, right or wrong. When a child is abused or murdered, it is because the perpetrator made a conscious choice to do evil.

Wtg you are right on target about choices people make. Just because you have a mental illness it is not automatically a pass on responsibility. If you look at the stuff she has on her laptop about why do people kill people, who kill people, to teach that it is bad to kill people? Right here she admits she knows what she did is wrong. The fact that she planned and worked so hard to cover it up again indicates she knows it is wrong. Her choice is to put herself first to the exclusion of anyone or anything else. Take money from a friend, grandpa, parents, whatever as long as she has what she wants. Nails, tattoo, clothes food for boyfriend. These were acts of a rational selfish person who knew what she was doing then and is doing now to protect herself. To us regular folks it me seem crazy and irrational but the truth is she is just living her choice to put self first. Great explantion on why bad things happen to good people!!! (Caylee not m)

Amy, maybe that’s something we should look into. See if there are advocates for missing/exploited/murdered children and if not, change some laws to get that in place.
If you are in family court for child neglect or abuse, the child is appointed an advocate, guardian ad litem, until the case is over. I wonder if a family member such as Cindy could ask for one. I don’t think she would now, but earlier she may have been able to when she was in fear for Caylee’s well-being and Casey was taking her to parties and God-knows-where. I doubt it would have altered Casey’s lifestyle, but it may have kept her from killing Caylee.

I agree the C & G have made major mistakes, but maybe (JUst maybe) they were doing that stupid stuff to make sure the media stayed focused on Caylee. I remember the comment she made to the police you know they never stay in the media for more than a day or two and are then forgotten. As we have talked about today about the beautiful children that are missing and appear to be forgotten because public interest fades. Maybe C is badly attempting to make sure the media stays focused on the story. Wether we like her or agree with her behavior you have to admit if they had stayed quietly in their house and there was no news the media would not still be waiting on every lawn to see the newest drama. Sadly in this world it is sensationalism that attracts attention.

What waste and trouble there has been in this event. And still no one knows about the child. They are more concerned about hiring attorneys. Why do the grandparents need a criminal attorney? That’s a little suspicious there. Is it just drama????????? Something’s not right and we are not being told the whole story. Don’t take things on the surface, look underneath what happens.

One thing that has always puzzled me about C. Didn’t she ever say to Caylee so, what did you do today? Or does Zani take you to the park, Mc Donald’s etc? I would think she would ask Caylee something about this nanny.
I heard this child singing in a video when C. took her to visit her great grandfather, so I know she speaks well for a 3 year old.

c for c - disagree on antics to keep media on the story. It would take way too much effort to force that kind of behaviour and to overide what should be crippling pain..most would walk to ends of the earth to find their missing baby. None of the Ants have walked outside the house.

Lee was laughing about the smell of the car and had to make a point that when he walked in the garage and smelled that stench “for the first time”??? I can believe she would do that. Especially in the rage they were all in on Father’s Day. I can believe she was so furious at Cindy for confronting her and yelling (neighbor said) at her for all her mistakes, lying, stealing, not taking care of Caylee, and then start to strangle her—yeah I can believe that she was so enraged at Cindy, couldn’t kill her, so killed the thing closest and dearest to Cindy–

First, the evidence shows that M was preplanned this, ( searching babysitter name,chloroform, missing children websites) She set up her plan, ( telling people about the smell, Caylee is with babysitter, even indicating that her dad killed something and made her car smell) Now she is lying about everything and refusing to talk, showing no remorse and causing constant turmoil. If she had accidentally killed her daughter because of years of abuse she suffered at the hands of her mother, then she would break down at some point and admit it instead of sticking to the save M story. There is many a case where a person is abused horribly for a long peroid that it causes them to snap. nothing about this case een fits.
How many of hasn’t wanted to break M’s neck or beat her senseless to get her to talk. FOr all we know C snapped about something and I haven’t heard the statement that she choked M and would like to hear that so maybe I can better understand where you guys are coming from. Was it on a recorded interview with the brother?

I think Cindy supports Casey’s story for 2 reasons. 1. Because she said that she had always in the past when casey lied, been able to talk to Casey and eventually get the truth from her and thinks that this time is the same and 2. She does not want to face the fact that she has raised a murderer. What mother would?
I keep on going back to the statement that C. made about Caylee being a mistake. Even though she called it a “good mistake” she did say it was M. mistake. What mother would call their grandchild a good mistake?

I think we get so frustrated with Cindy because she won’t ‘wake up and smell the coffee’ as we have, but we are on the outside looking in and she is right smack dab in the middle of it, living/eating/breathing it every minute.
We bloggers gather as if at the wake, mourning the little Caylee and don’t understand why her own family isn’t doing the same. (I mean Cindy and George—we know Casey feels nothing for anybody)
I just find it hard to believe that Caylee would not tell her grandmother something about her whereabouts during the day or where, and who she spent the nights with when she wasn’t home.

Maybe Caylee HAD begun to verbalize where she was going, names of people, where she slept, etc…Maybe that’s one of the reasons why things escalated to the degree that they did.
Caylee was too little to pick up on the fact that M is lying. She may have been going to the park and doing fun stuff just not with the nanny. No one has really indicated where m was prior to the dissappearance. She didn’t have a real job. Was someone watching Caylee? Did M just do stuff with her? Chloroform so Caylee didn’t remember chunks of time? Don’t think anyone has the answers to that yet even G & C.
C. always thought she could control M. and make her walk the chalk line. She would give her a choke around the neck, and M. would straighten up.
M. started hanging with a new crowd, had herself a new boyfriend, and she was probably on the edge of murdering Caylee for several months. The last fight C. & M. had sadly caused M. to murder her child, and once and for all get away from her controlling mother.
gum - your right…the grandparents frustrate me to no end with their 0 invovlement in looking for caylee…they can believe that she is alive all they want, but they don’t know that. The evidence so far points to her being dead and they won’t face it. That is frustrating, so they want to hold on to hope and they have that right, but they must know she is gone and still won’t look to try to find the baby and put her to rest with her fav. dolly and blanket. They don’t want to fact it fine, but also disrespecting tim and equu search too but not going out and trying to find her dead or alive is disturbing. They say she is alive but their actions don’t show that.

You know, in the video, Cindy was telling all these stories about where Casey had said she was on all those days–Zenaida’s car wreck, Jacksonville, etc… like she believed every single word that casey said. Why? Was she so wrapped up in work and home that she couldn’t see through all that crap? I KNOW I would have known something was up with my own daughter if she kept telling me no I couldn’t talk to my grandchild, grandchild was fine, not coming home today–maybe tomorrow, for a solid month. Because up until when she left, they (Casey and caylee) were there in the Anthony home all the time.
But she stood there pointing to dates on LE’s calendar telling them where Casey was on each day and only going by where Casey said she was.

I hope this doesn’t offend too many, and forgive me for those it does bother, but I am a firm believer that when someone is messed up, the parents are at fault. As children, it is the parents JOB to guide and teach. Yes teaching right from wrong is important, but equally important is teaching why we must choose right over wrong. As well as teaching one to want right over wrong. As parents when you start having problems with a child….lying, stealing, etc, you need to correct it, not play with it and plead to get a truth eventually, there should have been stiff consequences for faulty actions when Casey was younger and if they could not get a handle on it there is help out there. My brother was a problem child and my mother did not quit until she got it under control. It was a single parent household, she sought help. She refused to let him be a menace. He is a very family oriented man with morals and guidelines and two great children. Parents can’t give in or up, that just makes her an enabler.

Good point, Caylee would reveal who her caretaker was eventually. Also, being the daughter and granddaughter of unstable people, sensing hostile jealousy from Casey, her behavior could have been fussy as well triggering abuse from a sociopath. One comment from Casey on Facebook was apologizing for the screaming kid in the background while on the phone with one of her male friends.

Exactly. C. told everyone her daughter was no good. So what didn’t she seek professional help for her instead of beating the truth out of her. I don’t want to come across as one of those people who puts all the blame on the parents when their children do bad things, however in this case C & G were poor excuses for parents.
I agree with your thoughts on parent responsibility. But as a parent I can tell you that no matter what I have taught my kids they have still made mistakes that I would never have expected. I think the blame starts and stops with M for what she did to Cayle. THe same person everyone is dogging for being horrible and controling, also was raising Caylee and everyone says she was sweet, happy, well adjusted and well behaved little girl. That did not happen by accident. So you either believe C raised her or M did. My money is on the very stressed grandma not the sociopath mother. I do wonder how the world can get so crazy, but with drugs and all kinds of things out there there are several things to explain M besides just her parents are guilty. There are lots of cases where you see a good solid family have an out of control member that can’t be controled. IF your theory is correct we should punish the parents instead of m… she is just a victim of them? I don’t accept that. I think they have some responisbility and make mistakes, but which one of us as parents can say they are perfect

Just because a family is solid and loving doesn’t mean they know HOW to teach, being a parent is a job very few are actually 100 percent suitable for.

Please don’t blame her for anything I might have said and don’t blame me for anything she says. We are different personalities with different writing styles.

I just don’t think the grandparents are victim’s. They grew that garden, who’s fault is it if the vegetables are rotton.
Sometimes you get worms in your garden. Drugs outside influences, maybe chemical imbalances and things like that. Make no mistake on this comment I am not nominating them for parents of the year. I try very hard with my kids and though I make mistakes and so do they. I do not believe I will have an M as my child.
Everybody makes mistakes, not really what i meant. but how it ends is often a product of how one was raised. Yes there are many outside influences, this is why what is taught and how it’s taught is so important, so eventually the morals and beliefs instilled will win over in those hard times when led astray.

I agree with most of what you posted. I think my problem with C. goes back to M.’s pregnancy. M. wanted to give the child up for adoption, and C. said no. M. knew she didn’t want that child, but once again C. controlled a girl who had mental issues. I blame M. for murdering Caylee, but I blame C. for being the driving force behind M.’s decision to murder Caylee.
Maybe next time we could form a Conga line!

You cannot ignore the genetic pool. Mental illness, personality disorders, are not real receptive to being taught right from wrong, morals from the best parents. I know of a family who adopted the cutest little baby girl, only to discover she had mental problems and a predisposition for crime. She grew up to be a con artist.

All we have saying that M wanted to give the baby up is M herself to a friend saying that her mom wouldn’t let her. I don’t believe anything M says about that. Wether we agree with C’s choice. Maybe she was attempting to help M accept responisbility for her action. Getting pregnant- keep and raise your child instead of getting rid of it and avoiding her responsibility. THere are cases you hear even here about girls who got pregnant and then turned their life around to be a good mom. Maybe that was what C wanted for her daughter.
And for C to allow this Zanny to babysit her beloved caylee for sooooo long and never meet her or ask caylee about her is very very fishy….
This is what I would like to know is why some people get special treatment like Caylee air time,and money spent on them………what gives here.All the other loveable pictures posted above here they are all little darlings but have never heard of them before until now. Is this all they get.And why did Caylee,s grandparents not help search all the did was sit on their ass at home and mislead the people that were looking for her. IF my 18 year old daughter came to me, and told me she was pregnant I would support her decision to put the baby up for adoption. I would not talk her into keeping a baby that she did not want. My heart would break, yes

I think M would keep the baby for all the attention and control she got from it. Thoseparents spent alot of money taking care of Caylee and providing for her. I also believe that put up with alot of M’s crap to keep Caylee with them. If M got too mad she could just threaten to take the baby and C would have backed off so she could keep Caylee. Hindsight is 20/20 that is for sure. I imagine there are lots of people wishing they could turn back the clock. I just wish I believed that M was one of them who wished she could change the past. I would NOT want my daughter having a baby at 18 or 19…My heart would want to raise the baby myself cause that is who I am. ON the other hand, I had my babies and want a life after babies before I die..it would kill me but I think i would agree c should have let m put baby up no matter what she thought “having” the baby would do to strighten her daughter up…look what happened in the end. Caylee should of had her 3rd birthday..and her fourth..and so on…but at the hands of her disgusting pathetic selfish mother, she was robbed that right.
I have many thoughts on these subjects… but, my quick response is this — there should be a law that any mother that allows a BOYFRIEND access to their child and that BOYFRIEND harms or kills that child, should be punished along with the BOYFRIEND. I am sick and tired of hearing of men harming and or killing their girlfriends children.. Women if you have a small child, please be careful in who pick to be around your children let alone leave your children alone with!! And with a mother that kills their own child — well that is the worst of the worst… accident or not, especially if they lie about it. I think when the baby was first born and cute she got attention and parents paid for stuff and let her get away with stuff. I doubt M thought about how it would affect her as Caylee got older. From the pictures and stuff M was there for all the camera stuff and the fun things… but was she there through the night feedings or was it C. Maybe C wanted to try and raise Caylee right because she on some level recognizes that she failed with M. Not justifying that idea mind you.
I think M. would have been long gone from that house if she didn’t have Caylee.
Catherine: I agree with you about C making the decision as to what to do with the baby. That should have been Casey’s decision. It sounded to me more like C wanted the child to have a playtoy at her age, many women do, and also it makes them feel young again. Just a thought. Whatever the reason, it was the wrong one. It is a pity. That beautiful child would have been loved by some parents just waiting for her.
I have not heard about C choking Casey at one time. You say this came through Lee Anthony’s testimony. Wow, what a household. Also, the bit about the father being dead, blah, blah, blah is a lie. I do not blame C for any of M’s actions. I also wanted to state that M was not a young child when she decided to listen to C and keep the baby. She was old enough to make her own decision. Yes C would have been mad but i do not believe C would have kicked her to the curb, with this being said she would have done it a long time ago for all the other crazed and derranged things that M has done. I do not blame C. I do however think she does know now the truth of what has happened with the baby. I believe this and i believe this because she is defending her and is also lying while hiring a defense lawyer. I also believe that G is not going to stay with this family too much longer. You can tell he is at the edge of breaking. Once his daughter is convicted G will no longer stay and put up with the mess. I think that brother L knows what is going on as well and will do whatever it is to protect his little sister. It was families do they protect each other. Now when it is all done and did that family will break leaving them with nothing and that is when the saying what goes around comes right back around comes into play. All of there lives will never be the same!

“This case has had such national exposure that I truly believe that if this baby was out there alive, someone would have seen her and brought her home by now,” said Deputy Director of Equusearch Mandy Albritton. “It’s been way too long for a little 3-year-old to be missing.”
