Orange County Sheriff Kevin Beary has described Casey Anthony as one of the toughest individuals that he has ever run into. Casey is the only person that authorities have named as a suspect in the disappearance of her daughter, Caylee Anthony. She has done nothing but handed investigators a string of lies when asked about the whereabouts of her daughter.
Local 6’s Mike Holfeld talked to Beary and he said that his lead detective Sgt. John Allen has described Casey’s attitude.
“I’ve had some very experienced people working on this case and Sgt. John Allen is one of those,” Beary said. “Sgt Allen said that’s one that’s of the toughest individuals he’s ever come in contact with when it comes to attitude and as you called the poker face.”
“In your heart do you believe Caylee is gone, is she dead?” asked Mike Holfeld.
“Well my dad-instinct says you never want to give up,” said Beary. “But by the way the evidence is looking, that’s probably what’s going to be how down the road.”
“She’s gone?” Holfeld asked.
“She’s gone,” Beary said. “Everyday that passes, everything in your gut instinct tells you we’re not going to find that child, at least not alive.”
Speaking of the evidence they have including the traces of chloroform and DNA pointing to a body in the vehicle and also the hair that was found in the trunk, “You know, we know that something’s wrong, We know something happened and that’s why we are still building the evidential case for the future.”
He said that the evidence they have now could play a criminal court showdown with Casey according to Holfeld’s report.
“Is it possible, speaking of the future that we could see here brought to justice without a body being found?” asked Holfeld.
“Well, Florida has laws on the books like that,” answered Beary. “I think before anybody does anything, the state attorney, the sheriff’s office, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement and the FBI will make sure that if that is the scenario, we will have all our ducks in a row for a good solid case.”
Beary also said that additional evidence is coming in but he has asked that the investigators not brief him about it until they are ready to release it. He said too that he is hopeful that the case will come to a close before he leaves office in less than three months.
Meanwhile Texas Equusearch could possibly be returning to Orlando to start the search for Caylee again soon. Mandy Albritton said they will be working on a case in North Carolina and they plan to return to Orlando after that. Kevin Beary has made it pretty clear that he would really like it if they would come back and resume their search.
I hope they do return because I think if anyone can find Caylee they can if they can only get the right support. That trust fund the Anthony’s have going to help find Caylee should be going to Equusearch to help the financially to do the search. Of course though, that is my own opinion.
I just wish Caylee Anthony would be found so she can be at peace herself. This is all about Caylee, not her selfish mother who refuses to tell the police anything about where she is because as in her own lawyer’s words, “It is not in my clients best interest to tell what she knows.”
That statement alone makes me sick to my stomach to be honest. All this time all we have heard was how much Casey really loved her daughter and how much she wanted her to be found. Well this doesn’t sound to me like a mother that is worried about her daughter. It sounds to me like this is proof that she is only worried about saving her own butt and the hell with what happened to Caylee now.
Caylee the world has not forgotten you and we all love you. May God be with you sweetie.

Thank you Jan and Simon for so many great posts and articles in behalf of little Caylee Marie Anthony. So many of us share yours and Simon’s views and appreciate you providing these blogs for us to gather to mourn Caylee.

***exactly.
hi gumshoe,i too feel that jan has stated exactly how we all feel and how heartbraking that a beautiful little girl could be let down so badly by the one person who should be her protector.
Thanks again for another exceptional blog Jan.
Maybe Casey doesn’t care if Caylee is found, but who cares what Casey thinks anyway?
Contrary to the Tupac quote, it is still in everyone’s best interest to pick up the pieces and determine what happened. BTW, is he in Bartletts now?

Don’t make me come after you all.
Don’t make me come after you all.
** sorry that was supposed to go to the old blog. I’ll go back and round up the others.
Thank you Jan.
thanks gumshoe what a brillant post by simon, and his feeling of locking up the whole family was excellant!
OK, left both links for the others. Hopefully, they will migrate here.
minnie, I have loved all Jan’s and Simon’s articles. They say what I want to say.
what about if Caylee was put in a suitcase,
at some point anyway, would make things a bit more difficult to find “her” i doubt she weighed much over 30 pounds, of that.. she was teeny.
i am also going over to Simon’s blog for a few, so who will post where lol
anyway then back to work.
Is this where we are moving to now?
If so could someone return to the previous article about the 911 call and let everyone know?
Agreed - anyone such as baez, motivated strictly only by greed and power, low enough to make money off a murdered child is nothing more than a licensed criminal! Like everyone else, what really gets me is that the entire anthony bunch have been glorified and treated like celeb’s instead of the non-caring trash that they really are. There’s the buck-toothed arrogant whore running the streets daily while hardworking taxpayers and law enforcement officials are diligently searching for answers. Playing the psycho game effectively. Possibly sociopath, but obviously intelligent enough to mislead even the best of the best. End the B.S. now.
M. was smart not to bury Caylee’s favorite doll. If may come back to haunt her that she didn’t get rid of the doll somewhere else or burn it.
minnie, I would like to see at least Cindy locked up until she could figure out that misleading police is about the same as out-right lying. I don’t care what her motives are–grieving grandmother, sad mother, whatever—she is a grown woman standing in the way of investigators and has been from the start. She has given out false statements, stupid ideas about what ‘might’ have happened to cause a smell, and has defended Casey to the end KNOWING that she alone caused Caylee’s disappearance, if not death.
I cannot feel sorry for her. If she would go as far as to wrap her hands around Casey’s neck in a fit of rage, where the %$#& does she think Casey learned how to kill in her own fit of rage?
yes flash - agreed.
Flash,
Very well said, are you new to this blog?
mytwocents, I already went to the old blog and rounded everyone up. Left the link, the title and date of article, and # of article.
gumshoe,
Your so thoughtful, sweetheart.
Catherine, I don’t want any of us to get lost from each other.
*not even damdak even if he does make me leave while he is b*&^%$NK.
That’s for sure.
Gumshoe,
You know you love our Dak.
CJ,
Weight of Caylee was reported at 35 lbs.
That most stupidest remark by BB leaves no doubt that Caylee is dead.
If Caylee would be alive ,it would be in his client’s interest to show her cards.
Catherine, pfffffttttt!
CJ,
Yes, it was a stupid comment. Maybe he wants to get fired. LOL
gumshoe, Lmao
May God be with Caylee now. The Anthony family failed this child. I’m with Gumshoe on this one, that violence seems to be part of this family’s way of communicating. Watch George yelling at protesters outside of his home!
Beth,
It is heartbreaking to watch this family being torn apart by a monster.
yes gumshoe i agree,at the beginning when i first knew of this case i realy felt for the family but very quickly that soon dissapeared with all of their lies, denial of what m has done and especialy cindy trying to blame everyone else for what has happened to caylee.
The debate of that statement, “client’s best interest” is WHO CARES WHAT HER BEST INTEREST IS? SHE IS ALIVE AND WELL AND LOVING EVER IOTA OF ATTENTION SHE IS GETTING.
CAYLEE IS DEAD AND WILL NEVER ENJOY ONE MORE BREATH. WHAT IS IN THE BEST INTEREST OF A MURDERED CHILD WHO SCREAMS FROM THE DARK CORNERS OF THE EARTH FOR JUSTICE?
Casey is no victim. And I for one am so sick of Baez and Cindy and George and Lee portraying her as a helpless victim, shrouded in speculation as a murderer. D%$#, if you don’t want to be called a murderer, then DON’T KILL YOUR CHILD!
G. & C. loved Caylee very much there mistake was trying to mold M. into being a responsible mother to her cild. C. should have gone for custody of Caylee a long time ago, and kicked her daughter out of the house.
Hi everyone!
Just some of my thoughts here…
I believe that monster was planning to kill Caylee (M searching Chloroform and missing children websites is my clue) long before Cindy yelled at Casey on the 15th of June. I think monster was simply waiting for the opportunity to do her sinful deed when the argument arose and triggered monster’s evilness. All sociopaths don’t kill, monster is the most severe type of sociopath, which to my understanding is a psychopath. She’s an empty shell with no feeling whatsoever, she is truly a monster who happens to live in a pretty woman’s body.
I don’t think Jesse even realizes that all their time together was simply an act on m’s part. From what Jesse said he believes monster started acting strange at the end of their relationship. I think he can’t see the forest for the trees.
Monster disguised herself to be the woman Jesse wanted. She knew she had to act like a homebody, love sports, love family life, go to church, etc. She was the chameleon he talks about. But, even now he wants so much to believe that during their courtship, Casey was the loving mother he believed her to be.
Writing that made me realize that if Jesse is having a difficult time accepting the fact that m was evil during there courtship, why wouldn’t her parents experience the same feelings and stay in denial. (Sadly, for Caylee, I don’t think the Anst will ever come out of that denial either.)
Catherine, if C had gotten custody of Caylee, what would have made her raise her any differently than she raised Casey? What would have kept her from putting her hands around Caylee’s neck when Caylee did something wrong?
Sure, C loved and cherished Caylee as a small child, innocent and blameless—but what about when Caylee grew into a teen, spoiled like Casey, bailed out time and time again–would C be able to handle the Caylee she herself raised? Or would she have yet another Casey on her hands?
IMO, Caylee never had a chance in life with any of the Ant’s.
also im no lawyer but that statement he said that it wasnt in his clients best interest to say what she knows?hello cause then it would be straight to jail with no more get outa jail cards, and to make a statement like that as simon wrote in his post is just to infuriate people like us who want the truth for caylee
Hi MMT.
Do you think it’s possible her parents ignored M. totally after Caylee was born, and therefore didn’t see any signs of her mental state. I know they knew she lied and stole, but did they ever know her state of mind?
gumshoe,
Point well taken.
Don’t all gang up on me, I just threw that out there.
Catherine, the profile of a sociopath, from several bloggers researches, says that signs (or ‘red flags’) start around age 16. They would have seen lying, stealing, blaming others, acting out (and I believe in casey’s case promiscuity) LONG before Caylee was born.
I think after Caylee was bornb, there was someone else to take theiur mind off Casey and how she had failed. It was apparently a BIG thing to C that she didn’t graduate and held piddly jobs, if any (i.e. Jesse’s statement) I think a new baby in the house, C being right at past the age to have any more children, made C feel young and motherly and made her totally forget that Casey was acting like an idiot.
I don’t ever mean to ‘gang up’ on anybody here, especially you, Catherine. I do get passionate in my opinions, tho, and don’t mind being refuted. (if it’s done gently lol)
gumshoe,
So, are you saying that C. did ignore M.’s behavior?
yessireebob, Catherine–I am agreeing with you.
I didn’t say gang up literally. I just thought my post may have sounded like I was giving an excuse for M’s behavior therefore, I was feeling sorry for her. Please be assured that I have not one drop of pity inside me for that monster.
*Catherine, Yes, this is the first time I’ve been to your site. Again, this thing is just about the most bizarre situation any of us have heard of. And I’m not overlooking the fact that horrific child abuse crimes are being committed daily (sometimes by family members, sometimes not). But in many, maybe not most, the perpetrator is identified, charged and prosecuted; cut and dry, over and out! But this scenario is by, far more intriguing. Here you have a homely looking loser being chased like a dog in heat, laughing, lying, sucking up all the male attention. Ever notice how she wobbles that butt for the camera, glancing around.
Do I believe that a “criminal” suddenly ‘loses it’ and does whatever he/she does? No. She created what she thought was a clever opportunity to accomplish what she had always wanted to. I look at the photo of that little girl, thinking, she deserved a chance to grow up and be loved. No one had the right to harm or destroy her. Agreeing with someone else who commented, Caylee MUST have had a really good looking dad because that scaly-looking whore looks she has been her witch garb for a long time! Makes me puke.
Oh, ok. Sorry,
I need to make a skinny vanila latte. My mind is getting tired.
“Stage 4: Black putrefaction - 10 to 20 days after death
The pig’s body has collapsed with black exposed surfaces and creamy flesh. Photo: R. Major
State of decay
The bloated body eventually collapses, leaving a flattened body whose flesh has a creamy consistency. The exposed parts of the body are black in colour and there is a very strong smell of decay.
A large volume of body fluids drain from the body at this stage and seep into the surrounding soil. Other insects and mites feed on this material.
The insects consume the bulk of the flesh and the body temperature increases with their activity. Bacterial decay is still very important, and bacteria will eventually consume the body if insects are excluded.
Insect activity
By this stage, several generations of maggots are present on the body and some have become fully grown. They migrate from the body and bury themselves in the soil where they become pupae. Predatory maggots are much more abundant at this stage, and the pioneer flies cease to be attracted to the corpse. Predatory beetles lay their eggs in the corpse and their larvae then hatch out and feed on the decaying flesh. Parasitoid wasps are much more common, laying their eggs inside maggots and pupae.”
This which i excerpted from the previous posts link to decomposition is the stage i believe Caylee was in when her monster mom placed her in the trunk of her own car …and which all the evidence points to, sigh…
bbl
Hi Catherine!
I’m tring to do a couple things here and got sidetracked. To answer you question…
In my opinion… I think Cindy both spoiled m and was hard on her all at the same time. She would probably yell degrading things at her then turn around and take her to the mall to shop for pretty things.
I don’t think it was as simple as C ignoring M at any time. M’s type of personality disorder starts building as an infant and then starts showing up somewhere between 13 and 15 years old.
Because of what C stated to someone, that M is a sociopath, I believe C recognized every symptom. She may have even had M in therapy at one time. We’ll probably find out at the murder trial.
Flash,
Well don’t hold back. Your posts are very interesting. Your writing style reminds me of another blogger. Are you a female?
i think all of ants ignored the warning signs with m behavior, cindy had caylee as a replacment daughter and sadly they will pay the price for the rest of their lives, caylee paid with hers.
I absolutely ahve to get some housework done. The kitchen sink is absolutely the last place I saw my dishes. I dropped them off there and the sink is the last thing I saw my dishes with. So I have to go for now. Because…their..my..dishes..and I actually want to go take care of them because I have been here on this blog on a f&^%$*& whim. And they’ve already said if they don’t get washed, they’re gonna pin this on me.
BBL peeps
MMT,
Thank you for replying.
Bye, gumshoe
MMT - agree with you on factors that led to casey’s serious mental issues. However, I wonder if the tendency towards this type mental discrepancy could be partly an inherited trait. Cindy is clearly psychologically dysfunctional, i.e. obviously has continued to believe her own lies. As far as sympathy, none here. To have cleverly designed this entire scenario, as “mommy dearest” did, and as the parents pacified (assisted dearest in concealing the facts), the three of them should be tried and convicted. As casey showed no suggestion of emotion, sadness, fear, etc. neither did her parents. Instead of acting like she had some sense, cindy called the cops, ranting about her “daughter” having “stolen a car.” They are all skilled in the art of deception and have exhibited no sign of human concern.
Catherine - Yes, female.
Flash,
I do think C. was the only one that showed any emotion when she found out Caylee was missing.
Flash,
Are you from Florida?
Catherine - I feel Cindy was only reacting to a horrible truth she may have already feared would happen.
Hi guys! Had to take a break…I am exhausted from all the outdoor work. Got the pool almost done, covered and winterized all the hotrods for the winter…and there is still more yet to do.
Flash,
Yes, I do agree with you.
No, I am not from nor have ever lived in Florida.
Hi Kris,
You must be exhausted.
I SECOND EVERY WORD GUMS,
“Gumshoe said,in October 4th, 2008 at 1:13 pm minnie, I would like to see at least Cindy locked up until she could figure out that misleading police is about the same as out-right lying. hi to everyone not ignoring your posts BUT have grandson here and company coming soon so here little for now between cleaning etc.-
I believe Casey is a sociopath who planned to kill not only Caylee but Cindy and George. She told Amy her parents were getting a divorce and giving her the house. Amy and Casey were planning on moving in the Anthony house the week Caylee went missing.
I think what went wrong was that Cindy got in such a rage over Casey wiping out her father’s assisting living bank account on Father’s Day that she “choked her out” as Padilla said.
That made Casey realize Cindy would fight back if she tried to kill her. Caylee would not. So she decided to just leave the house and her parents, kill Caylee and then be free to room with Amy and party and sleep with whomever would have her.
I think Cindy is a codependent who had children so that they would love her and fill the “empty hole in her soul.” Casey, being a sociopath is incapable of loving Cindy so Cindy felt rejected.
I do believe that because Caylee returned her love, Cindy rejected Casey and that made Casey hate Caylee as well as Casey. I believe Casey “acted” like a good mother in front of her mother, Jesse and all of her friends and they were all fooled.
I think Cindy was in denial about her daughter being a sociopath but in the back of her mind she knew she was. That’s why she told one of Casey’s friends she was a sociopath and to stay away from her.
It’s important to remember that when Casey told Jesse he was Caylee’s father they weren’t even dating and he wasn’t in love with her. Jesse had dated Casey for two weeks in January, then broke it off because she was telling him she loved him and moving too fast. He was only 18 and she was 19.
In May she showed up at the Grund home six months pregnant and told Jesse she had female problems but wasn’t pregnant. In June, she text messaged Jesse that she was pregnant and he was the father.
Being a good Christian boy he wanted to do the right thing so he agreed to marry her and be a father to Caylee. However, when Caylee was born in August, he realized he couldn’t be the father because he didn’t know her in Decembe when Caylee was conceived. He took a paternity test and he discovered he wasn’t the father. By that time he was in love with Casey and Caylee and agree to marry Casey anyway and continue as Caylee’s father.
I think Jesse overlooked Casey’s faults because he wanted to be a husband and father at this point. Now he is saying she changed because he doesn’t want to admit to the whole world he was a fool in love. I think he was in love with Caylee and not Casey.
I think Jesse stayed in Casey’s life because he worried about Caylee’s safety but wouldn’t even admit it to himself. If Jesse tells the world he loved a sociopath that would make him look like a fool so he says she changed.
Same with Cindy. If she admits her daughter is a sociopath who murdered her own child, that makes her a bad mother and grandmother.
Flash,
Oh, ok sorry I was just curious where you were from?
Catherine…I’m completely wiped out right now. I feel like I’m getting a head cold being outside this long… my immune system is shot from all the surgeries. It was fun though watching the kittens in the yard… we had about 13 baby turkeys come in the yard from the woods and the kittens tried to stalk them. When the turkeys spotted them moving closer they ganged up (all 13) and started chasing the cats away…It was hysterical! lol.
Catherine… sorry, I guess I didn’t answer your question correctly.
What I meant was I don’t think C could ignore what M was doing… I think C didn’t know how to deal with the issues so she simply believe M’s lies, apologized for M’s mistakes and paid back some of the money M stole.
Kris,
I bet your daughter was having fun watching that.
Yes she did…the turkeys weren’t even scared of us (because they’re too young I think to know better)…but the kittens were like “Oh sh*@t” when the prey turned the tables..My gut still hurts from laughing!
I wonder where Dak is? Always curious to see what he has to say about the case.
What do you think about the article from the sheriff I posted the link to earlier? He is hoping within the next 3 months before he leaves office, that’s what it stated. My god I was hoping for an arrest like within the next week…Maybe we’re off on the timing.
Kris,
Yes, three months to have the entire case wrapped up seems like an eternity.
Maybe he (Dak) has gone out…or he could just be peeking! I’m sure he’ll be in later, he always turns up when we least expect him.
Texas EquuSearch Returning To Orlando
Saturday, October 04, 2008 1:57:28 AM
ORLANDO — Texas Eqqusearch could be back in the city as early as the end of next week to restart the search for Caylee.
Equusearch Deputy Director Mandy Albritton said they will be working on a case in North Carolina. Then they plan to come back to Orlando.
Albritton said Sheriff Kevin Beary has made it very clear that he wants Texas Equusearch to come back and finish the job.
I’m happy about the OJ verdict….It’s like Karma..bet the Goldmans are glad too. Now we just need to concentrate on this arrogant bimbo down in Fla.
Well, I have a 4:30 appointment for a manicure so, I will talk with you all later.
Kris,
Go take a bubble bath, you deserve it!
Gumshoe..That’s good news, although I was hoping they found something already. Maybe it’s because of the new info of her being spotted coming out of the wooded area by a witness, and Equasearch has all the proper equipment to narrow it down.
I smell like I need one too…LOL!
By…Catherine.
I don’t know Kris. That ‘3 months’ quote threw me, too. Apparently we are all way off with thinking an arrest was very soon. I don’t know now how this plays into the Nov 17 court date. That’s only a month away. And she has a court date in Oct. for some of the charges. The 8th? maybe.
I was hoping for tuesday…that was my pick in the lottery pool for dates. I thought they would take the weekend to unwind, come in monday discuss the plan of arrest and tuesday go pick her up. I am still holding out hope.
In the previous blog, flowerchild said “I wonder why Koblinsky would go to the defense side instead of prosecutions side, seemed like he would go that way.
My answer is for the money! Defense attorneys pay BIG BUCKS to entice experts to be on their defense team and believe me, they expect loyalty for the price they pay.
The first day that NG addressed Kobi as being on the defense’s payroll, I noticed the disappointment in her voice and eyes. It sounds like Kobi was a long time acquaintance of hers who she highly respected. I’m not too sure that she feels the same way about him now. Also, Kobi may have a contract to be on so many shows,so NG is not able to simply drop him off the show. Plus, without having too much new information on this case and finding it difficult to have new guest to interview, NG needs to use who she can. I’m just surprised that it’s not a conflict of interest for Kobi.
I’m sure that in the past NG has been offered BIG bucks to become a defense attorney, but she can’t sell her soul to the devil, so to speak.
So, regardless of how much you like Kobi… sadly, it’s all about money.
Do you know what date that is for court in October? I was thinking maybe they would do it after the court when she was leaving the building and just slap the cuffs on her then.
Hang onto your date. My date was yesterday and it passed with no arrest. I am not discouraged though. Still hopeful every day that this is the day.
It just seems like it is taking so long…I feel she doesn’t deserve to be out at all. Even if she feels like a prisoner in her own home…she whines about it, too bad she doesn’t even deserve that…total boredom day in, and day out is what she needs to think about her actions and what she has done.
Although sociopathic people seem not to have any souls, maybe time thinking would only serve to turn into self pity.
Gonna go take a shower, then give a bath to the little one…she is filthy from being outside. Will stop back in later…by everyone.
Kris, I think it was the 9th but I don’t think she has to show up for the next court date.
Kris, you are right when saying… “ Total boredom day in, and day out is what she needs.”
Boredom is the worst enemy of a sociopath. Boredom is what leads them to self destruction, as it did monster.
But, you’ll never get monster to think about her actions. That’s why she was so angry when she called home from jail and everyone was asking her questions about Caylee. In her mind it was as if Caylee never existed. She never wanted to hear her name again. She just wanted to talk to people who she thought she could laugh and have fun with… remember… “Give me Tony’s number”
Anyway, the best we can hope for is 60 to 70 years for her to sit in a cell bored!
Koblinski might have come cheap. Afterall, he surely must have a lot of professional/curious interest in this case. Plus it will also insure him of future paid appareances on a talking head show..
MMT - I’m sure money plays a big part in it but Kobilinsky has been a major player on TV as a “top forensics scientist” so I think that his professional curiosity is piqued AND the experience can only add to his TV image! A win-win for him.
I’m sure he’s really excited to be part of this especially since it’s the first time that air samples might be used in court. He’s probably so anxious to get in there and see all the evidence first hand that he’d pay for it himself - but of course he won’t have to.
But who is? Where is all this money for M’s defense coming from? Someone asked earlier about a defense fund having been set up long ago but then not heard of since. Or is the same “anonymous” source that paid for her bail and PR firm and investigators? Wish we knew!
And that’s one reason I am glad that Zenaida is suing. Her bulldog attorney is going after the money so there is at least one person sniffing out who’s getting paid for what! Hopefully we’ll find out too eventually.
Where is
Sorry- the “where is” was a goof.
is this kobilinsky guy a coup for the defence and why would someone whom appears to be respected do something like this?[being in ireland cant see ur tv shows]
Hi, Minnie!
I’m sure there are other top scientists but Kobilinsky is well known as a regular guest expert in the field to viewers of the nationally televised Nancy Grace show. Nancy Grace was a well-known prosecutor with an extremely tough stance on crime. If I understand correctly years ago her fiance was murdered. Hence her feelings on the subject.
Her TV program concentrates on current criminal cases and Nancy (or NG as we call her here) goes after them will all she’s got. And she has other guests on the show - experts in law (even defense lawyers) and psychological experts and individuals actually connected with the crime being discussed.
We’re all busy speculating as to why Kobilinsky signed up with the defense. Nancy seems disgusted with him about it. It could be money but it could also be his professional curiosity. He may want to see all the evidence himself. Plus this may be the first case ever to include results from air samples (taken from the the trunk of the car).
hi twocents, yes i watched her show while on holiday in florida in august were i first heard of caylee she is brillant, takes no bs.cant see why he would need the money or why he would want to make money from this, surely if he is in high esteem he would get to see evidence without going to the other side?
Good afternoon to all: nothing new to add yet, but am enjoying reading the blogs!
Minnie, I think probably only the experts for the prosecution and the experts for the defense would be able to see the evidence up close. And since air samples might well be a topic for debate, I’m sure Kobilinsky wants to have his say in whether they are dependable enough to be used in court.
Hi, ChsAhs!
There are two new articles here on bloggernews.net about the case. Simon wrote one and Jan wrote this one. There are a lot of new bloggers on Simon’s article. I don’t know how to get us all together - or even if I should try. I’ve been going back and forth!
LOL
I am convinced there is a lot of bullcrap involved in this case and I can only imagine there are others who see that too. It wouldn’t be unusual for Kobilinsky to take the side of the defense in this case. The media is trying to overrun the justice system there, and apparently the state doesn’t have competent people in place or they wouldn’t have released all those documents with peoples names, social security numbers and phone numbers.
When a homicide detective shows up to arrest her on economic charges while being filmed live at the Anthony home it is a clear indication that they are running their own production and not an investigation…Nancy Grace’s opinion isn’t really needed, nor is Padilla’s. They protesters were awed by it being just like on TV…Ha! This is about a missing child and not about filming another “Monster.”
That pathetic militia that has been overrunning the neighborhood is uncalled for to say the least. The psyche operation failed miserably and now they busy trying to do damage control. They made it to Dr. Phil, but not in a good way. Actually, they’ve garnered attention from around the globe and something tells me that their clip and paste technique is going to backfire.
RV - You said: “The media is trying to overrun the justice system there”
If you’re referring to a media organization bailing her out, paying for a PR firm (which is another media organization trying to spin it in M’s favor) and the media time Mark Nejame got, plus the $ one of the Ants got for the visuals on 20/20 and the other offers they’ve had for movies/ books, then yeah, the media is trying to overrun the justice system -but not in a good way and probably not the way you meant?
mytwocents: thanks for the blog updates, I’ll check them both out. Keep on bloggin’, we’ll just try to keep up with you! lol. You’ve had some good points so far!
Giovanni in Mass. is still missing and we don’t hear a word about him because he was with his father…no slut to make it a really juicy story.
And, it’s just like the one lady said when given a warning for trespassing, “I’d be under the jail,” as she was referring to her ethnic persuasion.
No, this is showtime big time and it’s because Casey is a young cute girl who did who knows what with that child. Gosh, she even has a fan club now…people are dressing up like her!
It’s interesting to read Jan and Simon’s articles, they WRITE what so much of us ALREADY feel! After reading their articles, it’s like YES!!…and a weight comes off my shoulders.
I should have addressed you in that last blog 2c…I often forget…get busy typing.
Frankly this case has been rehashed over and over to ad nauseam all based on old info.
As to NG, most of it ,about 98% is old news, recycled each nite. If you watch NG once a week , you will be upto date.
BH with his old news, that he releases in installments like a soap opera , to insure future appearances.
Every time when one of the players leaves a fart, real or brain fart , it is breaking news.
Now ducking the rotten eggs.
RV, are there any websites to the case you referred to? Nancy Grace picks up a story and goes with it till the end. The Caylee story came up first I believe, and it was so bizarre from the beginning (not reporting her missing for 31 days) that it grabbed national attention. NG couldn’t possibly follow ALL missing children cases as they need to be followed. Hopefully the local TV station in that hometown is still following the case.
snookers……….but yet your still here…..glad to see ya anyway!
have to go will try get back later thanks twocents for info.
Yes. NG includes stories about other cases including the four children in the midwest kidnapped by their non-custodial nutty mother.
She’s had that on almost every night - and hopefully people all over will keep their eyes open watching for those children.
And the father who was last seen with his son is in jail I believe. No program can go in-depth with every case.
And yes the Caylee news has fallen off some but there are slow points in an investigation and times when the investigators simply aren’t giving the media anything. But I learned a couple things from NG last night that at least I didn’t know. One was that the Dept of Children and Family Services had completed their investigation - I suppose that pertains to the child neglect charges.
I also learned that M was not mirandized before that July 16 interview/interrogation we all heard. So that might well be a huge thing - whether it will be admissable in court. I’m sure BB won’t want it in. So what do you all think about how the case will stand if all those lies can’t be used? Maybe the prosecution can get it in by having the officers describe where she took them that day and the result of their investigation into those places and people.
snookers…no rotten eggs here…I’m not a media groupie of any sort I suppose. Learned more about Grace on here than from watching her. Never heard of Padilla until this…don’t have cable and not too into TV. Only recently I was in someones house and a show was on where two young fellas dressed as Tarzan was trying to sit on a scorpion…as if that wasn’t bad enough, the other kept getting his head close to the other guy’s butt to see the sting up close and personal…whew!(I’m getting a gun…Lol!)
ChsAh…you can Google Giovanni in Lynn Mass. I believe there is an article on here written about Giovanni by Simon as well. The other lady I mentioned was captured by the local Orlando media as she crossed the protester line and took her entire family to the Ant’s front door and started banging loudly and demanding they come out to tell everyone where Caylee was (as if the Anthonys didn’t want to find Caylee).
Caylee etc,
I am just so frustrated and took my mean pill this morning LOL.
There is so much info missing in the released stuff. They are just little tidbits. The important stuff is/ will not be released till trial.
No interview transcripts from Annie Dowling or Dante Salah(lived at 218 Sawgrass).
No info on the fight on June 15th, which I think was the catalyst for Caylee’s demise.
Just rehashing over and over (hey a song)the fairly non crucial stuff.
The quite often unfair trashing of C & G.
Anybody who raised/raises teenagers, know they all lie from time to time but they outgrow it and become human in their twenties again. If you donot believe me , go back honestly to your own teenage years. Am sure you pulled the wool over your parents ’s eyes many times.
C did sound very normal in her second 911 call..
For an average/non professional person, it is hard to determine what is a sociopath/psychopath, because they are so often quite charming and loving but it is all acting. I do fault her however, for trahing M in front of a third non family party.
Besides all mothers see their children thru rose colored glasses. Scott Peterson’s mother is still convinced , he is innocent.
Anyway, when M is finally in shackles again, she can sing “when the music is over” and when in Jail, she can sing ” I can get no satisfaction”. For you Kimcon.
RV - The reason that the mom of the family that had the nerve to trespass and pound on the front door (which you usually strongly object to) would be “under the jail” if she’d done something like M is because she is African American and the media would not have bailed her out. The cops would have thrown her in - just like they did M - but the media would not have bailed her out. Can’t blame LE for that.
I have been looking for transcripts from Annie Dowling. Very interested in what she had to say. Sorry if I am repeating info. I just stumbled upon the site. Has anyone read anything from her?
mytwocents,
When the police interviewed M. they did not restrain her from leaving therefore there was no need to read her the miranda rights. I could be wrong, but I’m pretty sure that is what Florida law states.
In my opinion,
Someone did say her testimony was in the released documents.
In my opinion: One of our regular bloggers - and an avid follower of the case - has not found any transcripts from Annie Dowling or Dante (something).
See her post above - Snookers at 5:41pm.
It could mean that their testimony is really important to the case and LE is keeping it close to the vest. (I don’t know of course!)
I have not found released testimony from either Annie or Dante.
Both are on the witness list.
Annie was a roomie of Dante at Sawgrass but apparently have now broken up. Annie is a long time friend of M and another witness said she supplied M with drugs. Annie could be Zannie.
Catherine,
In the interview at Universal with M, LE really stressed that the door was closed but not locked. Obviously for the Miranda implication.
I object to them trespassing on their property 2c. After seeing all those ignorant journalist start something that couldn’t be stop by demonstrating where city property and private property start and end…soon came the screeching rock band prompted by their parents to go ahead and show us what an idiot looks like, then the two morons with the flag staking out the area for a photo, then the guy with a doll and headstone, and some leftover from the hippie generation brought her dog.
I mean, has there been anyone in that neighborhood that hasn’t tried to make a scene? No wonder that family seems so bizarre…you have to fit into your surroundings one way or another….grief!
Granted, they all had something in common…their comprehension level was at record lows.
in my opiniion,
You can go to orlandosentenial.com and research just about anything on the Casey Anthony case that has been released to the public.
snookers,
Yes, if they restrained her from leaving they they would have to read her the miranda rights as per Florida law.
Catherine…I think snookers is telling us they didn’t release everything and that is made clear by counting page numbers of the information that was released. Tony L. has a page missing when telling about what C said when she came to pick up Ca.
RV,
I liked the lady with her St Bernard dog. She was an honest protester. All the rest were attention seekers, not honest protesters. The media is responsible for the “socalled” protesters and their antics IMO.
I did not like LV kicking doggie’s waterbowl over in the hot Fla sun.
I think their idea may have been to pin her and the entire family down via the undereducated media and local yocals and browbeat a confession out of one of them. A costly and ineffective tactic if that was their intent.
snookers,
That is what I was told by someone I know who works in LE.
snookers, I liked her too…she reminded me of someone I knew long ago.
snookers,
I agree with you.
Catherine at 5:48
I sure hope so! I was worried because one of NG’s guest lawyers made a deal about it last night and another one did a while back! But they might not know FL law.
Catherine,
Donot follow post dtd 6.10 pm
What is “that”
Will Kimcon come back? I liked him.
I hope so too.
mytwocents,
I think the key word is “restrain”. At no time was M. restrained by LE during the interviews.
Alright…Catherine and myself are the only ones posting at 6:10 snookers
Are we getting into this Dak type thing again?
snookers,
I haven’t heard from him today. I hope he comes back tonight. He stirs things up in a positive way.
Yeah Catherine…you two should get a room!
Okay…after having said that, I’ll say one more thing…later gator!
RV,
What does that mean?
RV - I don’t agree with most of the protester’s behavior either. Except the lady with the dog. And there may have been others who were quietly protesting but we couldn’t see them thru the wild yelling mob.
Are you blaming the unruly stupid protesters for trying to “browbeat” a confession? Fine. What is anyone supposed to do about it. God knows everyone’s tried to get rid of them and even the media pulled back. No more live webcam at the house for example. Old news.
RV,
And you should get some manners.
Catherine at 6:16.
That’s right and I think they made it very clear to her what they were doing, why, what they were talking about and why and told her what her lies and behavior looked like, gave her chance after chance and gave her every opportunity to say stop or I want a lawyer. She just chose to brazen it out. So that better not be inadmissable IMO.
in October 4th, 2008 at 6:10 pm
snookers,
“That is what I was told by someone I know who works in LE.”
Sorry, not into Dak-attack.
This was the post of Catherine, I was referring to.Assume it is about the Miranda rights.
BTW RV , still convinced you are male. Not in any offensive way ofcourse.
mytwocents,
Maybe LE decided that the Ant’s and the Count were threating to sue for not protecting them from the protesters. Truthfully, I was bored watching C. bang in the stakes, and then putting that tape all over the place.
snookers,
Not that it makes a difference, but I heard that RV was a male. Rv is a rude person, and most of us just tolerate him.
Gumshoe said,in October 4th, 2008 at 1:36 pm Catherine, if C had gotten custody of Caylee, what would have made her raise her any differently than she raised Casey? What would have kept her from putting her hands around Caylee’s neck when Caylee did something wrong?
Sure, C loved and cherished Caylee as a small child, innocent and blameless—but what about when Caylee grew into a teen, spoiled like Casey, bailed out time and time again–would C be able to handle the Caylee she herself raised? Or would she have yet another Casey on her hands?
IMO, Caylee never had a chance in life with any of the Ant’s.
I’m jumping in here after being gone for some time.
I’m in total agreement with you Gumshoe.
I know I’ll probably bring out wrath in some but I’m a firm believer in the death penalty for anyone who harms a child. No matter what the circumstances.!! Rape, sexual abuse of any kind, torture, murder, etc,. If you harm a child you die, period. I’m just sick & tired of child abusers, molesters, murderers getting a slap on the hand and set free. These kids carry these atrosities for the rest of their lives, if they live thru it. No, I was not abused when I was a child, I got my butt paddled if I needed it but never in a mean or sadistic way.
O.k. I’m off my soapbox now. Sock it to me, I’m tough, I can take it.
I do believe poor little Caylee was born into a family (it’s hard for me to call them a family) to which there was no escape. She was destined to become another Cindy or Casey had she lived.
LOL,
Putting in those stakes of no tresspassing was like hanging up a sign of wet paint.
Wonder if the cost of those signs came out of the “find Caylee” trust fund.
snookers,
If he suddenly got lost I really don’t think there would be much of a search party.
Me too, Catherine. I think C & G made spectacles of themselves and I’m tired of everyone blaming LE for the protesters. Gosh knows LE’s resources are strained enough!
It was costing (or is costing) $4,000 a week to keep the Ants safe and cozy in their home!
Not to mention the man (cop) power that’s taken away from other people and areas in serious and immediate need.
And yes, Snookers. Catherine responded to help me understand the miranda rights “issue” raised by a couple of lawyers about M’s first interview with the cops at Universal. She said that they would have had to “restrain” her in order to be required to read her her rights but they didn’t. So no need.
you don’t have to mirandize someone if they aren’t under arrest do you? At the time they did the “interview/interrogation”, she wasn’t under arrest and free to leave on her own free will. So, correct me if I’m wrong but they can still use the interview tapes?
Catherine,
No, RV is not rude. Just a typical male.
And I may add, has posted some valuable info in between the typical male BS.
juducas,
I agree with your post.
snookers,
I must have miss the valuable info just read a lot of B.S.
juducas - I sure do agree with you about how child killers etc should be treated. Most can’t keep from doing it again so why do we let them out! Ridiculous!
I am not sure that the Ants would have ruined Caylee had M just left home (forever) As long as C stopped calling her a mistake in front of her. I firmly believe that M is a sociopath. Caylee may not have been born with that personality disorder.
However I still have some little fear nagging at me that IF the little girl is found alive (no chance, I’m afraid) that she will be given back to C & G and after all of this I do not want them to have her. No way. They’ve abandoned her in favor of her killer.
and snookers…..you don’t seem mean. You seem frustrated that this case doesn’t seem to be moving as quickly as we’d all like it to! All our opinions are “trashing” of the Anthony’s are justified in our own ways, but in sight with the way they have behaved. Not because they aren’t acting as WE think they should over the loss of little Caylee, but b/c of their own actions, they have displayed in public…….when all they had to do was just say “no comment”.
CHSAH,
If you restrain someone that you are questioning then you must read them the miranda rights.
Caylee has stolen America’s heart: yes, Catherine pointed out that they would not have to read her her rights unless they were restraining her which they were not. But I’ll bet BB is going to try to get all that thrown out.
Hope to bbl. If not have a great evening!
mytwocents,
If Caylee was found alive I wonder if the Ant’s would get custody of her.
I am very strong opponent of the death penalty and not because of religion.. But then I was raised in a Western European country where the death penalty was abolished in the 19th century.
Locking somebody up and throwing the key away is fine with me. Actually more cruel than death penalty. The death penalty is cruel to innocent surviving close relatives.
Think about that.
Catherine, thanks for clearing up the miranda rights question.
catherine, pity c didnt put a few of those stakes into m never mind her bloody garden!
minnie,
Yes, along time ago.
CHSAH,
From what I understand all the documents that were released to the public are not the same documents the grand jury will receive from the DA to indict M. Also, there is evidence that will only be given to the grand jury, and not made public until the trail.
sorry I meant trial. LOL
Have to feed my cats.
BBL
Geesh a new word. Dakattack!!! .No pun intended, just sounds so neat and rhyming. Like a Macattack
snookers,
It does sound funny.
catherine, can u clear up for me,is it usual for evidence to be released to the public before a trial has begun?this is very different from were i come from.
minnie,
I don’t think it is unusual for evidence to be released to the public before thr trial. For example: In the O.J. trial evidence was released like the glove LE found at O.J.’s house.
I’m sure there is evidence that we no nothing about that will be presented to the grand jury.
In my opinion said,in October 4th, 2008 at 5:48 pm I have been looking for transcripts from Annie Dowling. Very interested in what she had to say. Sorry if I am repeating info. I just stumbled upon the site. Has anyone read anything from her?
As far as I know, no interview transcripts have been released on Annie Downing. Maybe she’s the smoking gun…
thanks catherine,in ireland/england evidence like this wouldnt be released until during a trial so i was just wondering if this was the normal way.have u read the other post by simon yet?
Minnie,
Thanks for helping redirect the newbies here

I sincerely respect your opinion but what of the children, what do we do with the children that’s scarred for life, some can never reclaim their innocence and be a child again. Locking up some people just make them better criminals. What of the close relatives of the children, what are they to do? I could never forgive someone who hurt my child. Never.
juducas,
Annie Dowling is the girlfriend of Dante S.
Dante worked in an auto parts store, and he and Annie were supposed to move into the Saw Grass Apartments. Dante just diappeared July 17th, as for Annie I have no idea if she went with Dante. I know they are on the witness list, so apparently the police located both of them.
jeannie,no probs,im a newbie too!

I’m aware of Annie..I was replying to another poster who ask about her interview.
I believe there is an interview transcript from Dante but I’ll have to look it up. I’ve saved so many temp files I’m about to run out of space. I feel so sorry for LE, I don’t know how they’re keeping this all straight. Good thing they have a good system….Not at all like mine.
juducas,
Please understand that because of my religious beliefs I must forgive, even someone who hurt my child.
Catherine said,in October 4th, 2008 at 7:29 pm juducas,

Yes, Catherine, I do understand. I absolutely respect your opinion. I don’t like to use that word anymore (absolutely). Seems as if Camp Crazy abuses that word..!! LOL
Catherine at 6:45:
I am awfully afraid that C & G would get custody of her. There’s not enough evidence that we know of yet to show them as unfit at least in the way it’s usually defined.
juducas,
The word “Absolutely” was used quite often, wasn’t it?
mytwocernts,
If by the grace of God Caylee was found alive. I would hope someone would act as Caylee’s court appointed guardian, and the Ant’s would need to go through mental health evaluations to determine if they could provide Caylee with a safe, loving home. I personally believe they would not pass my test as being mentally sound.
Juducas: Many close relatives of killers cut them out of the family out of horror and shame. And are not too sad to see them executed. Not all of course. But some.
My main concern with the death penalty is the far from perfect legal system. I’m always afraid they will execute an innocent person. I’m sure it’s happened quite a lot over the years. We’re still finding plenty of innocent people who have spent decades in jail for a variety of crimes - now proven innocent with DNA! So we know there are innocent people behind bars. I just don’t want to kill any of them.
However if I actually saw a horrible murder with my own eyes I might be hard pressed to object. My religion requires forgiveness too. But is it mine to give if I’m not the victim? It’s really a tough call in some ways.
Catherine at 7:45 I agree. But I have no faith whatsoever in the social/child welfare departments or courts who seem to favor family members over decent loving people who are not blood relatives. I would hope they wouldn’t get custody but I wouldn’t bet on it.
‘Absolutely”, “Most definately” was used way too many times by Lee, Cindy & Casey. I wonder why they felt the need to embelish all their statements that way? I also felt Lee went way beyond the limits with his “investigating”. Even LE made the statement to Cindy that he was very thorough in his answers and was very well prepared, anyone remember that? They have all be unusually quiet lately, huh?
good evening girlfriends
is everyone holding their heads tonight ?
juducas,
The roars from the Ant’s house have been silenced to a purr. Sounds like the attorney’s have finally persuaded them to keep their mouths shut.
Hi girlfriend
hi catherine…do you know if G is getting sued for pushing that elderly lady ?
Catherine,
I don’t know if that’s good or not. We don’t have web cam or any proteters, no new news. I may go into withdrawals (sp)….LOL
juducas is in desperate need of a fix…twitch…twitch lol…you just might be getting that fix very soon
Sabrina,
I haven’t heard if he is getting sued. I think the 65 year old protester did file chargees against him.
