Jonathan is a sheltered accountant, good looking but wrapped up in his world of numbers.  Wyatt is a lawyer, suave and wise about the ways of this world.  He introduces Jonathan to an elicit sex club known only as “The List.”  Through this club, Jonathan learns more about himself and finally begins to have fun in his life.  But everything falls apart when he’s accused of robbery and kidnapping.  This film stars Hugh Jackman, Ewan McGregor, Michelle Williams and Maggie Q.

The special features included in this DVD are a selection of deleted scenes, a featurette about sex clubs, a behind the scenes look at the making of this film and an optional audio commentary from director Marcei Langenegger.

I think Ewan McGregor is simply fantastic.  Ever since I saw him in Trainspotting, I knew this was an actor who could go places and become the real thing.  Hugh Jackman is sometimes a little less then impressive as an actor, but he’s delightful in this role.  The film is a little too sexual to be taken seriously, almost like a Deuce Bigalo sort of thing.  Nonetheless, it is a thrilling film and worth the watching, especially to see the interactions between these two stellar actors.

Don’t try and fool yourself, you’ll love this Deception.

This DVD is available at Amazon.com.
