OK so now I have heard everything. When I saw this headline I couldn’t believe that Casey Anthony would think anyone would fall for this one. She tried to claim that the horrendous smell coming from her car that was described by her very own mother as the smell of a dead body in the damn car, was from a dead squirrel.
New evidence released Tuesday showed that she told her friend, Amy Huizenga that maybe her dad ran something over with her car when he borrowed it, and it smelled like something died in it.
The documents released included statements from witnesses that authorities spoke to about what the Anthony’s said about the smell in Casey’s car. According to investigators there has been several explanations for the odor coming from the car.
Amy Huizenga said she was first told “she’s pretty sure she ran something over on the 408.” Huizenga said she also remembered Anthony leaving her a message that said, “There’s definitely a part of an animal plastered to the frame of my car.” She also said Anthony said she had “gotten rid of it.”
he report also said that Cindy Anthony, Caylee Anthony’s grandmother didn’t want to open the trunk once she smelled the odor because she was afraid it would be Casey or Caylee stuffed in there.
Casey told her brother, Lee Anthony, that “two dead squirrels crawled up under the hood of the car and they died in there.” Caylee Anthony’s Mom Says Smell in Car is From Dead SquirrelsHe described the smell as “atrocious.” Lee Anthony told detectives, “The trunk was open. The windows were rolled down to what I assume — (to) ventilate the horrible smell that I had just smelled for the first time.”
The investigator said, “The smell filled up the whole garage?”
“Yeah,” Anthony said. “It hit you like a wave. I mean it was, it was whatever it was, it was very, very potent.” Lee Anthony told detectives, “The trunk was open. The windows were rolled down to what I assume — (to) ventilate the horrible smell that I had just smelled for the first time.”
According to statements included in the released documents, Casey Anthony was leading a rich social life full of parties and drugs and showed no signs of worry that her daughter was missing.
When investigators talked to Amy Huizenga and Casey’s boyfriend, Tony Lazarro they got new information about Casey activities. Amy said, “I know she has started smoking more pot than she ever had. She would eat a brownie here or there and maybe smoke every once in a great while. Um, but she did tell me that she’d been smoking a lot more pot.” Huizenga’s was talking about in mid-June about the time that Caylee was last seen.
Amy told the detectives that Casey had her nails done, and got a tattoo around that same week.
“So, she got her fingernails cleaned, done up pretty and a tattoo in the week that Tony’s gone?” the investigator asked.
“Uh-hum,” Huizenga said.
“And goes out partying (July 2 and 3)?” the investigator asks.
“And the fourth,” Huizenga said.
“The fourth?” the investigator asks.
“Because we had a July Fourth party,” Huizenga said.
According to Casey’s friends she didn’t express any concern about her daughter to them. It was said that after July 5, Casey would wake up sweating in the middle of the night saying she was having nightmares.
Lee Anthony admitted to detectives that his mother and his sister have always had a rocky relationship. “There is a genuine wedge between your mother and your sister, isn’t there?” an investigator asked.
“My mother has been the provider for Caylee, even down to the extent that my mother was the first person to hold Caylee when she came out of the womb. So, my mom is convinced that my sister holds some kind of resentment to her.”
Now sources who knew the Anthony family intimately during the past few months are telling Eyewitness News that Casey has convinced her mother, Cindy, that Caylee was sold to someone in Puerto Rico.
Leonard Padilla says this is just another one of Casey Anthony lies that she has cooked up. “Baby’s dead. Baby’s deceased,” he said. Padilla told eyewitness news that he had a female employee placed in the house with Casey for nine days and she claims that Casey confided in her quite a bit but never once mentioned Puerto Rico. “Her whole methodology the whole nine days that the young lady was in there with her was one of denial, guilt, that she had done away with her own daughter,” Padilla said.
A Lawsuit has been filed against Casey Anthony by the woman Casey named as the babysitter that disappeared with her daughter. Zenaida Gonzalez has hired a high profile lawyer from Orlando, John Morgan to represent her in this defamation suit. Gonzalez says she has had enough. She wants Casey to pay for her lies now. T-shirts have shown up saying things like “The Nanny Did It” and “Zanny the Nanny” and this is one reason Gonzalez has decided to sue Casey. Although Caylee or killed her. she has never shown her face she says thousands of people think she has either kidnapped. “What we want to make sure is that Casey Anthony does not profit for throwing Zenaida Gonzalez under the bus. They are out there talking about movie deals, book deals. There are t-shirts being sold,” attorney John Morgan told Eyewitness News.
I think if Zenaida Gonzlez has a right to sue for defamation since she was apparently an innocent party in this that just was in the wrong place at the wrong time. She doesn’t deserve to be pulled into this game Casey Anthony seems to be playing with her parents, the authorities, her friends and all of America.
There are rumors out there that the Anthony’s have signed a $2 million movie deal with Lifetime Movie Network even though lifetime is saying no such deal has been made. Casey Anthony’s attorney Jose Baez made bounty hunter Leonard Padilla sign away any dibs on movie or book deals. Padilla says Baez is depending on the entertaining industry since Casey doesn’t have money to pay for his fees. Baez’s PR firm won’t answer any questions concerning the movie deal.
I have been out of the loop this last week with no internet and no TV and it was driving me crazy not knowing what was going on here but the more I read to catch up the more upset I get. I agree with Zenaida. Enough is enough! It is time that this little brat comes clean with what really happened to her daughter.
I still find it hard to believe that George and Cindy Anthony don’t know what really happened but if they don’t then it is time they put their foot down and demand to be told the truth. They should cut their ties with Casey until she talks. As a parent I know it has to be hard to turn your back on your own child, especially when they are in serious trouble.
But come on now, even the mother’s of the year would have to admit there is a line where you have to draw here as to how far you can go to protect your kids. Hell make Casey think they have had enough and kick her out, send her back to jail and when she talks then stand by her through this. They have to know what a habitual liar she is, so how can they honestly believe this new story that she sold Caylee?
I guess I can still pray that one day Casey will put an end to all of this and tell where this precious child is so this can all come to an end. Caylee God bless you honey, where ever you are!

If Casey tells the truth, she may get the lethal injection or life in prison. If she keeps quiet, she believes she will get away with it.
I hope they find Caylee’s body soon and arrest her and convict her of first degree murder. I am sick of this three ring circus.
I don’t think Casey will ever crack. I believe that if Caylee’s remains were found, or if there was even video tape of Casey disposing of the body, she won’t crack. She’ll be one step ahead with another story to cover it up.
I hope that Caylee is found alive soon, but I firmly believe that won’t be the case. In my heart, I think little Caylee is looking down on all of us. God bless you, little one.
I think we have to all face reality. Caylee Marie Anthony had been dead for a month before the news even hit the air waves. And the police and Anthonys all knew it the minute they got a whiff of the smell of decomposition in the car trunk.
Casey is going to continue to spin her web of lies because that’s what makes her happy.
Cindy and George and Lee are going to continue to cover up for her. They’ve been doing it all her life and that’s what dysfunctional families do. They tear each other apart behind closed doors but to the public they pretend like they are the Brady Bunch.
According to Lee and Casey’s ex boyfriends, Cindy called Casey a sociopath, thief and liar and warned the last boyfriend that she would take all his money and leave him high and dry. She knows her daughter.
Yet the picture she wants the public to swallow of Casey is that she is the Mother of the Year going to jail to protect her child.
Caylee Marie Anthony does not have a voice anymore. So we must be her voice and see that Casey does not get away with snuffing out the life of her precious toddler and tossing her in the trash so that she is free to party and sleep with as many men as will have her.
I found this on the site of Judge Jeanine Pirro. Here is what she has concluded based on the same evidence we have read:
Fast-forward 28 years — three-year-old Caylee Anthony is missing. Many want to believe she is alive but all the evidence points to the contrary. It did some time ago. To seasoned prosecutors, like myself, who have seen this scenario more than we want to recall, this is a replay of a child abuse homicide.
We all wanted to believe that maybe someone DID kidnap Caylee — that maybe Casey was indeed the good mother that she appeared to be in all those pictures. That this mother could never commit the unthinkable. Yet the handwriting was on the wall back in July.
Fact: How does a mother not report that her child is missing? Yet we were duped into wanting to believe she maintained her silence so her child wouldn’t be harmed. After all, any good mother would keep silent — even go to jail to protect her child, right? Then out came the pictures of mama Casey not sitting by the phone waiting for the call to take the money, the drugs, the whatever, to a designated place — but rather mama dancing, partying, bumping and grinding at the Fusion nightclub at a time we know she doesn’t have Caylee.
Ok, so maybe a babysitter did have Caylee so mama could party. But there’s no Zaneida Gonzalez living at the address mama gave. And the Zaneida Gonzalez who is located has never met Casey and has never taken care of Caylee.
So let’s backtrack for a moment. How has Casey’s life changed since she was last seen with her daughter on June 15, 2008. Well she has a new boyfriend, Tony, who according to friends is not too keen on the baby, but with whom she is increasingly spending time- to the point where she is there every night.
But wait, she loves this baby just look at the pictures! Yet now we know she wanted to give Caylee up for adoption before she was born.
Fact: We also know on July 18th Casey borrowed a shovel from a neighbor and backed her car into her family’s garage — something neighbors had never seen her do. So add to that a flurry of calls that pinged from her phone in a wooded area several times with repeated calls to her parents on July 17th, some only a minute apart. Add the fact that gas cans reportedly stolen by her father from his garage are in her trunk, which trunk she tried to prevent him from opening.
Fact: when Casey is arrested for child neglect and lying to investigators, she sits in jail, not at all worried with sunken eyes and a look of desperation, but instead bemoaning the fact that everyone is so “focused on Caylee!” She just wants her boyfriend Tony’s number.
Wait! Grandma and Grandpa Anthony (former nurse and former cop) tell us Caylee will be home on her 3rd birthday, August 9th! Yet, that birthday comes and goes while grandma and grandpa are not out on daily searches looking for Caylee. Wouldn’t a former cop start by going to the apartment where this phantom babysitter lived? Instead, these grandparents spend their days fighting and spinning the press.
Now why would they do this? Why are they not searching, pleading, begging for information? Maybe because grandma, who called 911 complaining of the smell of a decaying body, in the trunk of her daughter’s car (which Casey conveniently abandons as inoperable — but which to her detriment is found by police and literally driven with no problem to the impound lot) knows the truth. She knows her daughter is a pathological liar. She knows her daughter didn’t want Caylee and she knows Casey is responsible. Grandpa, a former sheriff’s deputy knows Caylee isn’t coming back. He knew when he found gas cans he reported stolen in his daughter’s trunk and when cadaver dogs pointed at that same trunk. He knew when police confirmed that virtually everything Casey told them was a lie!
Could it be that these so-called loving grandparents have circled the wagons around their daughter Casey, because they know Caylee is never coming home.
Fact: Enter the University of Tennessee’s body farm that conducted tests on the car’s air samples from the trunk and conclude that a human corpse had been decomposing there. Grandma says someone else could have put a body in the trunk after it “was abandoned.” Instead she tells media, “Casey is telling us Caylee’s life is in danger.” All the while DNA test prove conclusively Caylee’s hair is in the trunk.
Fact: Chloroform was found in “significant levels” in the same trunk where scientists detected vapors of a decomposing body and the hairs of Caylee Anthony. It is a solvent often used as an anesthetic by inhaling the vapors that cause the central nervous system to depress resulting in possible loss of consciousness, and is often fatal.
It is not one fact, but each fact weaved together as a connected whole that leads us to the inescapable conclusion that Caylee is dead.
I remember that judge in the felony hearing telling me — a mother would never intentionally kill her own child. I know now, what I knew then — “Evil comes in all shapes and sizes” even pretty young girls with sparkling blue eyes.
I believe the same i do not think casey is ever going to admit what has happend to Caylee. casey is a coward and you can about bet that she will, in the end, take the cowards way out.
All I want to know is when are the police going to get smart and arrest her already. It is such a side show anymore. I get more entertainment ready the articles on her everyday than I do watching regular t.v.
sorry I meant to say reading the articles. Mr. Padilla claims they do not need a body with all the evidence, so what is the problem. I feel that the police are also feeding her into her freedom.
Nancy Grace is playing audiotapes of the interogations of Lee, Tony and Jesse. They said the same thing we read but it was interesting to hear the inflections in their voice.
This must be so hard for Jesse. He acted the role as Caylee’s father for the first 10 months of her life and he still cared for her. I could hear the love in his voice when he talked about how she loved to play in her playhouse. He also said that’s where Casey would hide the body.
He doesn’t sound like he still loves Casey. He sounds like a cop trying to get the goods on her. He does sound like he loves Caylee and wants to get justice for her.
The problem is the same…where is Caylee?
It doesn’t matter at this point if she is dead or alive, though we all pray she is alive.
Casey will probably never tell the truth, and if she is incapable of telling the truth then why should we expect it?
Perhaps we can learn a lot through her lies.
my hope is that the police are giving her just enough rope to hang herself!! she has already been doing a fine job of doing so…
this case has really struck a nerve with me. I hope and pray that the anthonys come join us all in reality, and casey pays dearly for what she has done to such a precious and innocent life.
you have to remember casey is already in prison in her own miserable world.. no parties, no boys, no drugs, & no friends.. she thought she was going to be free, but she wil never be free again. the “good life” is over for casey.

I agree about the representation Zenaida has retained. Not only will it help her, but may also help facilitate new information in the case. I think it is terrible that someone would be making money from the loss of the little girl by selling such negative t-shirts that promote the Nanny Did It theme.
I disagree with the last statements regarding how George and Cindy should treat their daughter. I wouldn’t know, nor do I think others would know what they’d do given the same circumstances. Also, I think such inflammatory statements help facilitate an unstable environment for the neighborhood as endless idiots line up to show their “ass” for the world to see how they were raised…leaves me wondering about the culture and education in that area. Actually, it makes me think many more ‘Caseys’ are on the way.

Okay people need to stop rolling of every little story they here especially from sources which no one has seen or personally heard from. Too many people are taking every little thing put out and making theories and accusations. Do some research and analyzying before accusing people or spreading things any further before society as we know it falls apart.
I don’t think Lee, Jesse or Tony are lying. I just liked hearing the emotion in their voices. Their feelings came out.
You can’t tell what someone feels by just seeing their words on paper. Jesse truly cared about Caylee and knew Casey the most.
Tony didn’t sound like he cared that his relationship was over with Casey. The last he saw her was when Cindy came and got her and then called the police.
Lee sounded as disconnected as Casey the way he laughed at the smell of Caylee’s decomposing body.
People are taking these new documents which were dated back to July and throwing in all new accusations about story changes. The only story Casey has said in a written and interviewed statement was that that babysitter took her. As for Padillas story I think its all BS. Everybody was so down and against him and all kinds of bad things and now people are taaking what he says seriously. If people don’t remember he said in the beginning before he revoked the bond that CAsey wasn’t talking and now he says she did(right).

There may be a reason Casey isn’t talking maybe she did sell Caylee or at the least have her hidden so Grandma can’t find her. As far as the DNA well who knows about how it got there(Just a theory).

Dak, I think you are correct in not falling into the “witch hunt” mentality. Since we don’t know what happened it is best to keep an open mind. All that trying to “psych” out Casey, her family, and their neighbors is just a bunch of crap cooked up by “nuts.”

The idea of her selling Caylee is ludicrous. What did she sell her for? A Dollar? She couldn’t get her hands on enough money that she had to steal from friends and family. She spent that money shopping for trinkets for herself. I would go with the “vengeful drug dealer” theory but we can see where all the money she got from Amy went. On Casey. Not even Caylee so it’s pretty obvious that she was no longer with us by then. Casey, if you’re reading this, come back to reality and do the right thing before more innocent people are hurt. It’s a horrible thing that your daughter is gone and you will never have a life if you don’t tell the truth.

I believe all that has been said. I do believe that her parents know exactly what happened. I think after the evidence came back from the lab, I believe Casey had to tell them the truth. They are all guilty for that little girls death if you ask me!!!! GoD will have his time with them there will be justice one way or the other. If casey never gets charged with this, she will never make it on the outside. And if she does get charged with this she will never make it on the inside. With that being said somebody said it perfectly she will take the coward way out and kill herself. BET

You know considering that the latests statements released about the smell in the car the Casey said she smelled were done after the dead body smell came out publicly, I’m not sure I would believe them.

7/1 M arrived at Jesse with bag of cloths at 10.39 AM for shower, leave around noon.
Get nails done same day I believe.
Toni does allow M to use jeep one time after 6/27 and before 6/30. But M is only gone for 20 minutes and comes back with target bags.
LE seems to be very interested in Jeep. Did they confiscated the jeep too.?

I really liked NG tonight, it was informative, though i had read the docs the other day with alot of the tapes she had on today’s show, yet I also learned things as well.

It’s just that m always changes her story, this is the fourth one i have heard so far and one her mother takes seriously, C even went to Puerto Rico looking for Caylee speaking on TV there.

No it wouldn’t make sense. If we could get by the DNA evidence my theory would be that she gave Caylee to someone to hide her from Cindy, and all the lies is to keep her from finding out.

hi again, just wanted to throw out the Quote from the judge..everything released to the public in the 600 or so pages will not be used to take it to the grand jury. The LE has released only that part that will not be used against her so what is left or in the missing pages?

fc yes it coould have been done like this..m parked the car at amscot after it run out of gas.. she had already planted the material in the trunk..left her purse on the seat….the chloroform was used to ruin any evedince or what was left in the trunk..no way to tell who or what it was originally.. she could have left her own hair for that matter, tehy still dont know whos it is for sure…she had all kinds of dna from caylee after all she was still in diapers…body fluids from the hospital or even her own blood could have been poured in the trunk and cleaned at the last moment..would still decay and smell but you would not get much of reliable dna testing from it..the point of all this.. she could claim kidnapping she blew it when she ran out of gas and got stuck.

all i can tell you is tha i talked to tim on the phone the other day and he said the only thing going on was sonar searchs nothing else would be effective and that things would have to improve before they could do anything else. He was very down about the whole thing and said only m knows the truth and that may never change.

They have not found her because her body was removed from its original site.
She was buried on June 18th when Casey borrow the shovel. When her father saw the trunk of the car on June 22/23 it was clean. But when the car was found on June 30th, there was the smell of decomposition.
What made Casey move her? Did she confide in someone who told her to move the body? They are searching where her phone was pinging on the 18th, but the body is not there anymore.
And Casey would not carry a decomposed body very far in her arms, so it must be a site where she could drive her car into a secluded area.
I’ll bet its on Little Econ road or Goldenrod Road. Or she’s put her in a dumpster. Anyway…Caylee has been moved.
Interesting point. It’s possible that Casey did bury Caylee somewhere on the 18th and worried someone would find it. She then dug her body up and threw it in the trunk and drove around trying to figure out where to dispose of it so noone could dig it up, ran out of gas and tossed the body in the dumpster and then abandoned the car.
I think it’s interesting that after Cindy found Casey at Tony’s house and took her to the Anthony house, she told her brother Lee, she wouldn’t let them see Caylee because she was a “spiteful b#tch” and then she brought up that her mother said she was an “unfit mother” and she had stole from them and was a “bad mother, daughter and sister.”
To me, that’s “absolutely in a backward’s sort of way” an admission that she killed Caylee and got rid of her body out of spite. Like I suspected, she was conveying a message to her mother, you always said I was “unfit” and “a bad mother” so now I earned the titles.
Casey does remind me of a rebellious teenager who lies, steals and acts out to get away from her parents. Only Casey and Cindy were so enmeshed Casey couldn’t break free of her mother.
In her sociopathic mind, she probably believed Caylee was the “object” (she never saw Caylee as a human being) that tied them together. If she got rid of Caylee, she’d break the hold her mother had on her.
Instead, the opposite has occurred. Cindy is hanging on tighter to Casey now Caylee is gone and Casey has lost her freedom, hopefully forever.
Pallia made an interesting point on the day the car was abandon.
He said, that Caylee was in a bag in the trunk and monster took the bag out and put it in a dumper or recycling bin near the car. While doing so the bag must of torn causing her cloth to get fluid on them…
Ok that explains the smell in the trunk and on her cloths, but did she just take her cloths off right then and there and changed into something else?
Plus, does any of her close friends live near the Amscot? Maybe she just walked away from the car and went to a near by friend place..
You’re right, Allie. Interesting Point’s theory coincides with Padilla’s. Only Padilla thinks Caylee was killed June 23 before Casey abandoned the car. The police think she was killed June 16th.
Jesse said none of Casey’s friends had seen her between June 16, the last time Caylee was seen by George, and I believe it was June 23, when she called Tony to pick her up at Amscot saying she had run out of gas.
So Casey must have killed Caylee on June 16th and then spent the other several days burying the body, digging it up, putting it in the trunk, driving around and then finally disposing of the body and abandoning the car.
Casey told Lee she slept in the car for several days after Caylee went missing staking out Sawgrass to see if Zenaida was coming home. Someone would have seen her if she sat outside Sawgrass since Tony lived across the street and Amy and Ricardo lived at Sawgrass.

I don’t believe the story she told Lee that she was staking out Sawgrass waiting for Zenaida, the nanny who doesn’t exist. I believe she may have slept in the car not knowing what to do about Caylee’s body.

one gets me on that audio of lee when he said casey told him, this should have been done a long time ago, what was her meaning, to get rid of caylee in some way,and that would rid everyone of their problems as a family, it seems to me caylee was in the way,as to the fact casey wanted someone to adopt caylee,and cindy said no way
Britney Schreiber told Nancy Grace that Cindy told Casey many times that she wanted to adopt Caylee and then Casey could go party and do whatever she wanted. Britney said this made Casey very angry.
Britney knew Casey since she was five years old and now lives next door to the Anthonys and has a son Caylee’s age.
She also told Nancy Grace that Cindy told her the night she found out Caylee was missing that she knew Casey had something to do with it. Britney said Cindy told her she didn’t care if Casey went to jail for the rest of her life as long as she got Caylee back.
I think Cindy had basically had enough of Casey’s bad behavior - lying, stealing, mooching, not finishing high school - and disowned Casey but said she was going to get custody of and adopt Caylee.
That was why Casey took Caylee and killed her and then once she was rid of the problem partied with her friends and did what she wanted for a month until her mother found her and put a stop to it.

After observing C&G for so long, one can tell that they take great pride in keeping their home, property, cars and themselves very neat and orderly. I think C has always strived to make it look like her family was just as neat and orderly, yet desperately hiding a dysfunctional family behind closed doors.
Early on, in this case, C seemed to be able to keep her voice in control and was much less combative. But, with extreme stress came the failure for her to keep up her calm persona. Much like when she got angry and spouted off derogatory remarks, regarding monster, to m’s boyfriends.
So, now I’m starting to think that C’s denial is not only shielding monster, in her mind, she’s protect the entire family image, especially her own. C may feel that any accusations against monster are a direct blame against her as well. C may realize that the picture everyone is painting of monster reflects C’s own parenting skills. After all, she raised monster to be the person she is and did not protect Caylee from harm.
