As I was reading through your comments I saw one that expressed the opinion that Crazy-Casey might just get away with this murder. I hate to say it but I’m also having the same discouraging thought. I understand that the police will want to handle all of the evidence with great care so they don’t blow it and Crazy walks away with some charges of forged cheques. BUT . . . it’s been three months now and she still hasn’t been charged.

I’ve heard that in order to charge someone with murder they must have at least one of three things. 1) a body 2) a weapon and 3) a crime scene. Since (as far as we know) they don’t seem to have even one of the three requirements does that mean they can’t make a case out of one of Caylee’s hairs discovered in the trunk - apparently they can tell that it came from a dead body and they know that it matches Caylee’s hair. Surely that is more than just circumstantial evidence??!!?

Something else that puzzles me is the interview I just watched with Crazy’s ex-boyfriend. He seems like an honest and upstanding young man and he states that until now Crazy has been a wonderful mother and has always put Caylee first in her life. I believed him because he also said the Crazy he knew and dated was very different from the Crazy we see now. And the huge amount of photos I’ve seen backs up what he’s saying. The little girl looked very cared for, loved and happy. Everyone seemed normal and sane in all of the shots. So, how the hell does a person go from THAT to THIS????

If someone else hurt or killed Caylee, Monster would have already turn them over to authorities….

Think about it…She couldn’t wait to call for police when protestor were at her door….

The thing to think about is who she talked with after she covered up Caylee body…..(Cause we all saw the pics of her going out getting shitty at the club)… maybe its just her family that knows now, but there could be that one person that she confided in before the LE were involved.

Truely, I’ve never personally been through the court system…I’m not sure how all this works out to our ( the state ) benefit.

Seems to me that they could go ahead with a trial for the check fraud, get her locked up for at least a year or two (hopefully!) and then they’d have a bit more time to put together child neglect/murder etc while she’s behind bars.

For example, I don’t think Susan Smith was ever accused of child neglect or being a bad mom UNTIL she killed both of her sons because they were getting in the way of her being with a new beau who said he wasn’t ready for a “family” yet.

I guess we all should move forward with all of this….And start thinking about the trial..
So let me ask you something…

Are all the charges againest monster on one court date? Or are they seperate dates?

What I’m trying to do now is imagine the trial. Imagine what the defense is going to try to do (like accuse others; challenge the science and question whether the child is even dead; criticize LE’s investigation, try to show what a great mom Monster was etc.)

I’m sure that’s what LE is trying to anticipate too.

So that might be why LE has not brought the “murder type” charge yet. They’re trying to build a rock solid case that BoBo will have a great deal of trouble defending.

I’ve always stick up for your theorys on this case…

But no matter, Monster could have been a good mom, but good moms go bad! Just ask the ones behind bars….

Personally he is just that: a high profile scientist. He should be discredit just for the sake of monetary personal gain.

I just keep remaining people that just because we don’t have a body, doesn’t mean that there is no crime…

And nobody can tell me that everything that has been said by Monster sounds logical.

Monster makes sense when she called 911 for her parents. Thats logic…We all can hear the differents in her way of thinking….( send police) But I the AI it doesn’t make sense. Not one bit.. Its the dog chasing its tail excuse..

So if the defense can attack that evidence AND at the same time say that LE never bothered to look for a live little girl then they could hope for reasonable doubt.
So I’m hoping LE is chipping away at all the possible “reasons” to doubt.

BUt, if we never found her body, would we be thinking that she just left and started a new life somewheres else without her family?

But thats it! They haven’t proven any hard evidence that Caylee is ALIVE…

What’s a little scary to me, though, is that in spite of the decomp “evidence” LE is still following up on tips of sightings of a live little girl.

Why would they do that? Two reasons that I can think of:
(1) LE is not ready to formally announce absolutely positively that the child is dead for reasons associated with how the prosecution wants to charge her and present its case
OR (2) because the evidence is not that definite and LE does not want to give the defense the chance to accuse them of not looking for a live child.

And if her mom doesn’t want to tell us where she put the body then going out everyday to search is like trying to find a needle..etc etc.

If I here one more person say that the spotted a 3year with brown hair and big eyes, I’m going to scream…

People have we forgotten the evidence in this case…. The FBI doesn’t discriminate. It follows order and does the workup…

I’m sure people are holding on to “HOPE” But think of it this way…. Caylee own mother doesn’t want to help find her….So ask yourself, WHY?

And thank you for clearing up the car seat question. To me “no car + no car seat = no more Caylee.” So sad.

Jesse said he won’t believe Caylee is dead until he sees a body. A prosecutor on Geraldo said the cops could be not charging Casey for murder because they fear without a body there would be reasonable doubt from the jury that Caylee was dead.

I don’t think he’s a cop anymore. He quit very recently I believe - which puts him back on the possibly involved? on some peoples’ lists.
I don’t know what to think.

I think she is going to say he was so in love with Casey, that when Casey introduced him to Tony Lazzaro he went crazy, and killed Caylee as a way to hurt Casey.

He said Cindy referred to herself as mommy to Caylee in front of Casey and himself. He said the Casey he knew would not deliberately hurt Caylee but that he didn’t see the side she is now showing. Geraldo asked him if he meant the partying side and he said yes. Jesse said he took a DNA test after Caylee was born and it said he was 100 per cent not the father. He said he had mixed emotions because he knew blood didn’t make a father and he wanted to step up to the plate. He said he watched her while Casey was working and he wanted to marry Casey and be a father to Caylee but she broke the engagement off in 2006. He said he hadn’t seen Caylee since December 2007.

He also said the Anthonys hadn’t been a close family so he was surprised when they all supported Casey. He said he suggested she give Caylee up for adoption because neither he nor she was ready to be a parent and she said no. He could be lying for her. He seemed to still love her the way he talked, although he said he “loved her” in past tense.

I wonder if C did not want Monster to find a steady guy/get married/move out? Was she so controlling that she’d resent that? After practically raising Caylee maybe she wanted to do everything she could to keep her - which would mean not letting monster go either.

Bad stuff going on in that house for a long time.

I find it interesting he is back to his first story on the June 24 call where he originally said he heard Caylee in the background when casey told her to get off the table.

Then he recanted, said he may not have heard CAYLEE, but only figured Caylee was there because Casey told her to get off the table.

Now he is back to he believes he heard Caylee that day.

I think he still loves Casey and is defending her. Probably because he knows how controlling of her Cindy has been. And also because he doesn’t want her to go down for this.

I do NOT believe he thinks Caylee is alive.He is a big boy. And he was a cop. He knows what scientific evidence is.

Cindy is very controlling. We never got along. She didn’t like it when I stepped into casey’s life. She stepped in and tried to control.

I have no idea about a coverup but I do believe they know more than they are telling.

The car was towed with the car seat in it on June 27. I still believe I heard Caylee in the background on the phone June 24.

Unless a body is produced I can’t say I believe she’s not on this earth anymore.

How could he love a woman like Casey? What do all these guys see in her? Is sex and looks enough? Don’t these guys want a woman who cares about someone besides herself? Don’t they want a woman with normal emotions?

I dont mean to take away from the blog or ignore this case, the contrary I CARE VERY DEEPLY.

While you were gone we had a bit of a “hurricane” here so please try to withold judgement. There was a great deal of unpleasantness and personal attacks. Afterwards a number of us - for example me, Kris and Catherine - agreed to a clean slate and a fresh start.

I wasn’t on-line last night and when I got on this morning and read back I saw that a number of people had exchanged emails so they can personally communicate. When I saw Elaine’s post this morning I realized that’s what she was talking about but I knew that the exchange of emails happened on another article so she probably didn’t see it. And I knew that the people she was addressing weren’t online at the time. So I re-posted it later.

I thought Elaine’s message was showing that what they did was a great idea. I also thought that the point of exchanging emails was so the personal communication could be done that way.So basically I thought that Elaine’s post was reinforcing something that had already been agreed to and done by some folks here.

I didn’t know people would disagree with it or take offense and I didn’t intend any.

Hope everything improves fast where you are and that you can join us more often from now on.
