Jan thanks for telling us about the police checking out a Caylee look alike story. It’s amazing that the little girl had the same name even if it was a different spelling and looked a lot like Caylee.

I’m glad the police are checking on credible leads even though evidence say Caylee Marie Anthony is dead. I imagine when a child goes missing, they get a lot of tips because many children of the same age look the same.

There are many three year old girls with big dark eyes and a round face and brown hair like Caylee.

Casey’s “actions” speak louder than her words. The lying, stealing (stealing from her Grandparents?!!) the multiple boyfriends, the disrespect she has for her parents(the phone) all show the “real” Casey. A high school dropout who “bums” is not going to pull this off She needed professional help many, many years ago Just where was she all the years she was “working” Did she just drive around Orlando all day?

I’ve wondered, too, what “monster mom” was doing all day everyday when her parents, brother, boy friends and girl friends all had jobs or were going to school. I’m sure she was going nuts (or nuttier). Partly because her phone records show that she frequently dialed one number right after another until she got someone – during the lunch hour! And her friend Amy H said she liked to talk a lot. So what on earth was she doing – presumably with Caylee – for the last two years?

BTW – I had not heard that the “anonymous” person or group behind her bail was the Democratic News Media Group. I’ve heard other possibilities. May I ask where that name came up?

Every day I watch Nancy Grace praying that one just ONE member of the Anthony family would do the right thing and come forward with the truth. Cindy and George are clearly in denial and continue to enable the worthless daughter they raised rather than bringing closure to a granddaughter they could have saved. I don’t know how they can wake up every day, all of them knowing SOMETHING and none of them saying ANYTHING. Because I cannot bring myself to pray for this evil family, I pray for justice for Caylee.

On NG last night Padilla said some things that made me wonder about whether brother Lee is more involved, way more involved. Now I’m thinking that if he was involved and the parents know it then that would mean they stand to lose both their kids and Caylee.
I could see that as being enough motivation for them to be as fanatically and insanely defensive as they are.

After watching NG last night, I also believe that Lee Anthony may be involved more than what is led to believe. I wonder if the police ever searched Lee’s residence, car, phone records, etc…..

This whole situation makes me sick. There are those who keep saying innocent until proven guilty… I get that but as a mom I DO NOT and NEVER will get that she has done nothing to help in the search for Caylee, her baby.. she has lied and lied while Cindy, George and Lee back up each and every tale. Caylee like any child deserved love and care even if that meant her mom admitting she could not be fair to Caylee and would need to give custody to someone else and she should have then moved out and lived her own life ON HER OWN LIKE THE BIG GIRL SHE IS hahaha you know robbing her grandparents and such.. and to see what it is like to give that up for selfishness and partying and to see how far that takes her… she was too weak to do that for Caylee she still only saw herself, too pathetic, all I hope is the truth comes out, Caylee has a proper resting place.. Casey pays for her part in this — how could her own mom not protect her, she called the cops ASAP when the rocks were hitting the windows but over a month when her daughter is missing and after she was pretty much forced to. She wanted all evidence to vanish. Caylee is the victim here Casey not you… I think the protesters are giving you too much attention even if negative and should aid in searching for Caylee if in the area so you can get what is coming… no matter what you lose, people hate you so much, are so angry about this, no one can understand your lies… free on the streets or in jail you have managed to upset everyone… I don’t know how safe you will ever be. Hpw do you sleep in your moms home next to your daughters room and things when you know where she is and how you left her… how cold are you to be able to live with that.

MyTwoCents, The name of the company is Press Corps Media. Unfortunately I cannot get to their website, I did try to get a web address. It looks almost like its been page-jacked-ANYWAY, on their site they list their titles, history-employment, politics, etc…and are intensely dedicated Dems. Being involved is good, however when it turns to an addiction-like religion, as an example lets say, its bad! They also scour the Internet for “lies” and for the good of the people, which I AM for, and tell the truth. They dispel the rumours. Todd Black, of PCM stated that, “while he/they do NOT agree with what she has done, they strongly believe that her “rights” as a human were violated.” I personally believe that she threw those rights out the window when she blantly lied, the whole world heard; when she refused, refuses, to talk the whole world sees. Im one of those NO PARTY people, and this kind of left a bad taste in my mouth, it makes one wonder.

I find it amusing that the call center reps shot her down a peg by treating her like they had NO clue who she was!! HAHA~! She thinks shes getting one over on the world, she wwill learn the hard way.

Its ok, they are JUST making it worse, actions speak SO MUCH LOUDER than words. They cannot blame the media, or the protesters or whom ever else, they GOT what they wished for. Be careful what you wish for, you WILL get it, albeit not QUITE the “scenario”/way you wanted it.

On the audio recording of monster’s call to 911 she left the operator hanging – she left the phone – after saying she’d give them the tag # of a car involved in the fracas. What nerve! Also I noticed that a second police person joined the 911 operator talking to monster. I couldn’t tell if this was an adminsitrative type cop at headquarters or the cop in the car going out to the scene. But she had the help and attention of two cops on the phone and she still left them hanging!

desertrose: Last night on NG Leonard Padilla said some things that indicated he thinks Lee has known more or something significant since Day 1. And that Lee is responsible for talking his parents out of taking lie detector tests – and he refuses to take one too.
So for the first time I’m thinking brother Lee may be in deep. And remember way back in the beginning either he or monster or both had said how close they were. She may have gone to him for help. I’d pick Lee over Jesse who was already disllusioned and hurt by her. (If she had any help that is).

Hi, alliethinks! This is my first time on a blog too. So far I’ve found that it varies. It depends how many people (if any) are on the blog when you are. Sometimes there are only a few – usually earlier in the day. And sometimes there are lots of people posting for a while – usually at night. But usually it is something of a “conversation.”

Part of the problem is like somebody may be posting a note right now as I write – so I won’t see it until I post this one. And some people don’t “read back.” So I could post this but not look back to see something posted while I was writing this.

You’ll see some specific two-way conversation for example like I addressed my note to you. To hopefully catch your attention. The key is for people to “read back” at least a little bit when they come on so they can see where the conversation is, maybe learn something or see a comment they want to comment on and then hop in with whatever they want to say – which does not mean it has to be on the same topic!
Stand-alone comments and opening new topics are FINE!

But mostly we do try to converse. It’s just that this comment might end up posted three or four posts after yours.

This is an extremely sad case because of all the obvious selfish reasons of the entire family. They want to save face and get life back to normal but dont want to come up with a logical explanation as to what really happened to Caylee. I want to know why the authorities talk so nice to her and why arent they getting tough with her? She will break if she is interrogated properly. Keep her up for hours and have some of the toughest interrogaters out there come in and dig for the truth. They already have concluded what she has told them are lies. Don’t settle for that. Drag the damn truth out of her if it takes days for her to give in. She knows what happened to her child. Don’t kid yourself.

Ever since she lawyered up – she has not spoke with investigators.

I didn’t quite catch what Padilla meant about that woman investigator. You’ve probably got it right. I guess I thought at first that the investigator was worried that monster could sue her or something. Maybe there will be more info on NG tonight.

My son is 23 now – and he’s still my baby. I have always believed in “tough love” though and he has turned out just fine. This whole situation has created discussions in our family on what we would do. I PRAY I never am put in such an awful position but I do believe I would see that my child would be turned over to the authorities. What an awful thought….but it’s the best thing for everyone.

I’m back again for the long haul. I’ve been in and out for the past couple of days. Each day hoping to hear some new conclusion or the discovery of little Caylee. Sadly, not much new in the case except to hear that friggin’ 911 call where Momster refers to the protesters as “punks”.
I can remember my lovely great mother tell me, that I shouldn’t throw stones at glass houses.

Amy, those were the charges she was arrested on last week relating to stealing Amy’s checkbook and forging checks to herself.

I emailed the Attorney General of Florida this week. I wondered if Caylee could not be made a Ward of State and have a State Attorney appointed. It seems that this little girls interests are not being represented very well. I’ve not had a reply but maybe the people on this blog could do the same thing, pressure sometimes leads to action and this girl does need a voice. Michael, evidently, you don’t understand the difference between human nature and the legal system. Ms. Monster will get a fair trial. She will have jurors who are able to put aside everything they’ve heard or read about and intelligently listen to the evidence before making a decision on whether Ms Monster is guilty or not guilty. You seem to have no faith in the human race or our judicial system. Just because people discuss issues of concern, which they have every right to do, does not mean they can’t put aside their opinions and listen to intelligent facts and understand reasonable doubt.

So, tell me something… if Jeffrey Dahmer would have been out on bail would you have gladly trusted a son, relative or even yourself to stay with him alone because you would have considered him innocent until proven guilty?

Well first of all i like to start with is I think casey is messing around with her lawyer. Know way 6hs. a day to talking about the case. Jose Biaz is trying to making a name for himself.I believe I read on myspace that Cindy anthony wrote ” I lost my grandaughter I’m not gone to lose my daughter” before this whole mess became public. Did anyone else see it? Also matter of public record that the anthoy’s were devorced on dec.29,2005,The year casy was born. HUH! Cindy is a nurse she knows what decomposition smells like,George was a detective on the police force knows all the in and outs of investigations. Why hasn’t he been charged with attack on a elderly 65 we all seen it on tv. is it because of being ex-cop? Last time I knew that was a felony offense.Casy is a phyco but she was smart enough to wait so her precious little ANGEL decomposed.I pray for little caylee but at the same time pray for casy’s just desert. I do also believe that while she spoke to the marine on her cell, Caylee was in the trunk of her car. It probably took her a couple of days to find a place to bury or dump Caylee.

Don’t you just love how when she speaks to investigators, that she always responds with an affirmative, like “Absolutely, or Yes, For sure, and so on… Then the following statement is like, I’m pretty sure, or yeah that number is on the phone, but I lost the phone. Or I’m almost certain I have that on my computer.

The kicker, was when she said that she filled out an incident report when her phone was stollen!

I agree, MTC, I think the whole table and caylee bite was just a hoax.

I can’t see Lee trying to help in ditching the body, but I think he knows what’s up!

Me too, Amy. He’s protecting himself and his sister because if the cops find out he knew about it and did not report it I guess that could be “accessory after the fact” or something like that. I mean why not take the lie detector test?

I think she’s going to use the “I was too afraid of my mom” excuse for why she didn’t report Caylee missing right away. She’s going to find someone to blame that’s for sure. And after sticking by her C is going to get kicked in the teeth.

Exactly,if they were really interested in finding that baby, they would all take the test, so the focus will get back on finding caylee.

Amber Frey of Scott Peterson fame has felt the economic pinch. Her house is going on the auction block.

I think the extent of Lee’s involvement might be just knowing about it for a good while. It’s only slightly possible that she asked to meet him and then got his help in ditching the body. But I don’t think she needed his help or that she necessarily put it in that dumpster like Padilla is saying.

Has anyone heard if Lee has a lawyer? I would think so at this point even if he’s totally innocent. But I haven’t heard about it.
The cynical side of me says he’s got an agent now (to help sell more rights – like the rights to the photos for 20/20. He had to be involved in that for sure)

Of course I would love to see her get life or the death penalty, but at this point rather than nothing, I’d be satisfied to see her get 30 to 40 years. Its okay Michael some of these people have issues beyond anything. They seem to think I have 5 different aliases and i don’t. They accuse me of coming on and starting trouble when its them that start it. As soon as they see my name they start, and it really is childish because it makes it hard to converse and be civil about it.

oh i understand how they feel and maybe why they go on the attack but the truth is the truth like it or not.In following this case as everyone is i was ok with it untill a few red flags popped up that has me doubting some of the leaked info from the state. I have always thought and still do a little that the DNA(hair, etc) weren’t 100% conclusive. I know there has been talk about the death ring on the hair sample that can only come from a dead body, and Leonard Padilla keeps saying that, but have heard nothing like that from LE.

True and unfortunately most of the public think that its solid evidence when its not. I think people are taking what the source close to the investigation is leaking versus what LE is saying on national TV.

Here I am again wondering if I’m just being naïve regarding how much of the Ants actions are a cover-up and how much are boldface lies to save their daughter from going to prison. I’ve pretty much ruled out anyone’s actual involvement in the disappearance of Caylee, but I’m open to theories, with solid facts to back up them up. Kind of like threads pulling it all together.

Because of monster’s lying we have so many unanswered questions. My hope against hope is that they find Caylee and since LE pretty much proved that there is no such person as the fictitious Zenaida, that monster made up, sadly we can assume that precious Caylee is dead.

MMT…the sheriff’s office has repeatedly cleared the Anthonys of any cover up.

Well, I believe she is guilty of something; however, at this point I’m not certain exactly what that “something” is.

She just seems so co-dependent to have acted alone.

And let’s face it… how much of lying has to do with basically covering up for someone?

They (the family) may be lying to the media….they owe them nothing and to tell the truth may hinder their own investigation.

As far as Casey’s lies, well, apparently no one has ever been able to get a handle on that.

However, her lies do not make her family guilty as well.

I read that C & G agreed, then refused after Lee refused….Padilla’s words, how credible is that?

That doesn’t mean Lee is involved. It may simply mean he has unearthed some vital information he is not willing to divulge at this time for reason of finding Caylee alive.

I would disagree MMT…after reading the docs I was under the impression that many of her friends, as well as those who made derogatory statements against her, felt as if they were “tight” with the person they assumed to be their friend at that point in time.

The cell phone bills would implicate she was doing something. I can’t imagine her parents paying $700 phone bills for her to talk to her imaginary friends each month or bi-monthly.

Perhaps what she was doing was not exactly on the “up and up,” and she may have known or she may have been totally oblivious….all the facts aren’t in yet and the way this entire scenario has unwound, I doubt we will ever know the facts without a lot of BS being interjected.

Can you see how I may interpret these sentences, or partial sentences, as being opposite?

Rv = they are opposite. #1 is brother’s story and #2 is a security guard’s story.

There is far more reason for a brother to lie – and even if he’s telling the truth Monster could be lying because the cops have found that out and she’s in even more trouble! In fact the only time she’s cried in public was for herself at her hearing!

And Why would the security guard bother to lie? And it may be what this security guard is in some trouble for now too.

At that age I think their character isn’t fully developed just yet. And, I have to say that since I find it impossible to become personally moved by what I read about this person.

It’s not reading a book from front to back, having the author paint a picture of how a fictional character really is. It is more of a lopsided view and I have to put weight on a side that has none to maintain my own sanity I suppose.

At 22, in order to adjust to your environment, I would assume one would have to put up many fronts to be perceived as anything remotely resembling a human being when mainstream society expects people to be as the characters they see on TV.

I read a few posts where people said that Jesse’s parents baby sat for the first 10 months but I never heard anyone say that Caylee lived with them. Even when I watched a TV interview of Jesse’s father, he said they babysat Caylee for the first months after she was born. He never said Caylee lived with them. So, someone may have misunderstood and posted in incorrectly.

I think this entire Caylee Anthony (remember her?) show should be on at least BravoTV. They do a nice job of 13 episode shows and the finale is guaranteed after the 13th show. No hanging questions, etc.

Really, the whole mess is just a screwed up script anyway. Who says what and who says something different. Who lies and who doesn’t believe those lies. They all get makeovers and new hairdos. (like Casey did)

Now, we have the Guardian Angels watching the house. Even better!

See, the reality shows put lots of people in a house for 13 weeks and film it all. Everyone gets into cliques and form alliances, eventually stabbing everyone else in the back.

Maybe Casey and Cindy and George could go on to the NEXT season and it could be a new topic, not “what happened to Caylee”. Maybe .. like.. ummmmmm… “what happened to Lee?”

See..they could go on and on until they run out of family members and then the show is cancelled.

Then they go into post-reality oblivion, and after a few years, they all show up on “Dancing with the Stars”.

Hi, Pluto! Monster’s friend Amy H went to Puerto Rico with her roommate Ricardo Morales and two others – not sure who they are.
That’s the same Amy who loaned Monster her car while on that trip and whose checkbook monster stole.
Amy’s been interviewed six ways from Sunday and Ricardo (a former boyfriend of monster’s) too. I think if there was reason to follow up on that, the cops would have done it.
I think the Ants are focusing on Hispanic locations because the non-existant nanny zanny is Hispanic (oh and half-black, too, according monster).

But, how long had she known this marine? Was he once stationed in Fla., there visiting, or just exactly what was their connection. I was under the impression from what I’ve read that they were online friends; furthermore,even Tony Lazzarro stated he met Casey on Facebook.

Given that scenario, I am open to almost anything happening since so many think they are now part of the CIA thanks to the Internet. It amazes me how ridiculous they can actually be.

I say that out of personal experience…I’ve tried online dating before and people seem to have a plethora of imaginary images of who or what they think you may be…it’s absolutely endless. I suppose the same is true in real life as well.

But, back to your point….I suppose that is possible if her parents were actually demanding she step up to the plate and start paying rent and acting like an adult. Thus far, it appears as if she never actually did that. If this is the case then perhaps it was inherited…though I’m not sure from what I’ve seen that Cindy couldn’t easily make it on her own…sometimes these ideas and attitudes come from the culture surrounding the person.

This wonderful site is no different than any other place where there is a multitude of different personalities trying to understand one another. I have no idea what I did. There was a time before that I admit I did come on a try to rile it up a little but that was once and over a week ago and I try to be civil .

I’m torn between the facts in this case I want believe Caylee is alive but the evidence is overwheling that she is dead.

Yeah it does suck especially with 2 tired kids ready for bed. It was defenitely a day i wouldn’t want to do again, because my mother-in-law was with us and boy did she get on my nerves but I was good guy and kept my mouth shut.

I really hope LE does something soon to get this case closer too wrapped up. Too many frailed nerves on here and its just killing people to not know the whole truth. Just get it over with.

I know how you feel. I once locked the keys in a car that was still running and was inside the airport for more than an hour and a half. When we came out my brother went and got a slim jim from a cop and we got in…never could find the cop to give it back because I kept circling the humongous airport….Lol! They won’t let me live that one down.

My brother kept saying, “Boy, this is a huge airport!”

Sounds like a bad temper tantrum. They don’t stop at that age either. Mine is 4 and she tries to rule the roost. Has fits if she doesn’t get her way either.

i take care of mentally and physically disabled people. normally i work only 8 hours, tonight one of them wnet into high sugar and i had to sit with him at the hospital till other staff relieved me, so it was a long long day… i am off tomorrow, but then the boss pulls a work meeting ON MY DAY OFF ugh anyways 2 days off now.

yah the daycare observes them you know, and they tell me unfortunately pam, you have a very strong minded, stong willed and very temperamental child LOL.. although she is very advanced for her age, they can’t get over it, but her behaviour to me is just horrid. I had to drive the car with her literally wigging out, I could not console her, I had to stop and pull over to calm her down. I mean I am happy she has these people who she loves there but to have acted that bad cause of the worker, well it made me feel crappy as a mom, like you dont love mama? lol and, i also feel bad cause i know she spends alot of time with them.. so I guess I am working on it, but this stage has really shocked me its only been lately…

Don’t beat yourself over it pammy… They all do that type of unconsolable fit at someime or another. I remember mine did the same coming back from daycare and I thought the same thing pull the car over and try to do something to cajole her. Didn’t work. They have bad days too and they will be a different lil person the next day even. Really it’s not you, it happens to alot of parents. Don’t be hard on yourself really.

Boy, that’s a tough job pammy. You really must be very special to work with mentally, and physcially handicapped people. Are you an RN?

They are just little people developing their own personalities everyday. They don’t know what real stress is yet because they’re not in thw working world yet, but to them it could just be a fight over a toy at daycare. Or they really wanted to be home possibly. They all go through it, so don’t take it to heart any of it. Mine goes from angel to devil in 2.3 sec.

Just my one girl that is it, and enough really..she’s a handful! lol.

I was too sick throughout that pregnancy and kept on antibiotics straight throughout. As soon as she was born I literally was wheeled away to have another one of my 14 sugeries. So in my mind she is my miracle daughter, because she was so healthy and pink and glowing. I was way too sick then.

I feel like a cat…I must have nine lives because I know in 3 of the surgeries things got pretty scary, and I’m still on this side of the grass…thank god! lol.

yes its taken working with them to really make me realize how blessed i am, although we lost my daughters father tragically, as i said I have recovred somewhat, but these people cannot even make dinner or do anything, some sit in their place all day alone till we come, they havent seen anyone no family, and then you know they range from every kind of mental illness. its hard sometimes.. the physcially disabled ahve alot of spunk and try so hard, its amazing, the M. I. ones well, some there is no hope for recovery some are like us and snapped.. over who knows what stress? loss of job, normal people who cracked which is why i wondered about monster, maybe she cracked at some point, as i listened to the tapes she sounds like one of my patients, truly… she sounds schizophrenic…in my opinion, like she needs meds..to starighten out her thought patterns

I think your right Catherine…they are covering all their bases. It maybe some defense tactic of them saying that they only fixated on BB’s client and no other avenues. We all know she’s guilty, I don’t believe she did it by accident though. What do you think Catherine?

No I don’t think it was an accident. I
mean she has a fight with her mother, and
POW the next thing Caylee is dead. She wanted a life without any baggage, so she murdered that baby. I donm’t know why her mother doesn’t understand how much she hates her. She chose to kill Caylee instead of giving up custody to her. “What is given can be taken away” Well, she took her away for good. Poor little Caylee.

I know I used this analogy before, but because monster is so juvenile acting…I think it’s like a toy that the child has no interest in, even though they know it’s theirs, but when another child enters the room and wants to play with it and show attention , they would rather break it in two than let the other child be happy and have it. That is how I view what happened between monster and her mom.

Monster didn’t want anyone to have her toy. “I may not want it, but noone else will have it either!”

Those who were in her corner originally realized alot of things when evidence came to light. I just wish I could’ve hugged that baby when she said this stuff. Take her away and treat her the way she should’ve been treated like a little princess.

Can you only imagine how that friend feels now, knowing that monster babysat for her? I would be shaking with goosebumps on my arms.

My swelling is acting up under my jawbone. Goes up in size then shrinks, I know there is infection there that has to be lanced. Wish I never would have had my wisdom teeth out. He left rotted bone fragments inside my sinus cavity since ’99…first found in 2006. 14 surgeries later the damage was done.

Well, I used to feel sorry for them but no more! They are constantly provoking the people out in front. Why call 911 everytime someone throws a couple of nickels at them (their defense fund contribution for Monster..LOL) if you’re going to come out with a baseball bat anyway??
Doesn’t make any sense…but then we all know they are severly lacking in that department.

Sometimes it just gets redundant, and depressing not seeing a light at the end of the tunnel..healthwise. Hopefully the next one will be it. I find out more when my Ent comes back from vacation in Africa.

Kris, I’ve been plagued with ear/throat problems all my adult life and but the most recent surgery on my throat was they removed my tonsils & a tumor and I never knew such pain…giving birth was a breeze compared so I know how you feel.

I can understand why. You and your daughter just may help in more ways than you can imagine. God always has a plan for us all.

I would really turn it around again if it did Catherine. This really has been her dream since she’s been two, I never gave it another thought. But she understands fully everything. And children become more acutely aware of stranger danger because of these things. So there is a good lesson to be had for all I feel.

RV just popped in for a minute to check the posts..have to get back to my housework. The statements that monster said to her daughter definitely came from a friend, I also remember reading it online as well in the NG transcripts. I do not know who you were referring to in your post above (10:30am), but I can assure you I myself am not some drugged out drunk…I am highly opposed to any drugs or people who take them (other than antibiotics for my illness & surgeries), nor do I drink but only occasionally (because of the antibiotics maybe once or twice a month at best). I know for a fact I read this & heard this more than once about monster making this awful statement right to her daughters face (in front of others too) and if I come by it again I will post & link others to it. So in short..I am not trying to assume you are referring to me with those comments, however in the same respect I will defend myself on the off chance you are. This did occur when a friend spoke to law enforcement.

You know… I have read many posts on these (Caylee Anthony) blogs from people stating this is the FIRST time they have ever blogged.

I have been blogging for a few years now and find the best blogs are the ones that stick to the topic of the blog headline. That way, the blog moves quickly and doesn’t get slowed down with many “personal info” posts.

I have learned that when a blog is ongoing, the regular bloggers do form a connection of sorts. BUT.. remember, this particular blog is for postings about the Caylee Anthony case, nothing more.

To fill the space with posts back and forth between bloggers regarding their personal lives, etc. is taking away from the purpose the blog was originally intended.

Now, there is NO reason that bloggers cannot become friendly and share information, but that should be done thru their own email or internet messagings.

Please don’t be insulted by this post, I am very interested and impressed with most of the informative posts regarding the Anthony MESS. But, alsoI see many of the posts are complaining about the bogging down slowness of the site and that is because there are too many “non-Caylee” postings lately.

A seasoned blogger would agree with me, I am sure.

Again,. keep up the good work of CAYLEE posts, but lets try to remember why this blog was formed.

All they will do is (supposedly) pass on tips they receive about a possible sighting of a live child. However they pass these tips to the same cops they’ve raged at for mishandling the investigation and for searching for a dead body.

So in short. No. They have never actually searched for Caylee themselves in any way.

Otherwise I cannot understand why BB is not asking for a speedy trial on the child neglect since some evidence could be used that they would need for a homicide trial.

Snookers, good questions. Wish I had the answers but we’re learning as we go. Looking at the way the economic charges were handled I guess they can charge her and then “finalize” them. So maybe that’s the case with child neglect and they haven’t gotten to the 2nd phase on that.
And I agree that they may be holding off on child neglect in case they need the same evidence for homicide charges later. I think the lawyers would definitely get in an argument about the same evidence being used twice. But I don’t know what the law is on that. Might be something a judge has to decide and who would want to leave something that crucial to a murder trial up to a judge?

There is no Caylee trust fund anymore the bank and the lawyers shut it down, due to harrassinf e-mails.

So, who told Jesse that? That’s what I want to know. In the interview with Jesse’s father, I’m pretty sure that he said that framing Jesse was coming from monster and the defense team.

To me that means that BB is the one coaching the Ants on their defense strategy. But, we all know that C can’t keep her mouth shut… which is a plus for us who support the prosecution team because now they know which direction the defense is headed. Of course I bet a dollar to a donut that the defense will have to change their strategy all because of C.

Minnie, I too believe that the Ants are now more focused on saving their daughter and have let go of the loving thoughts of their beloved granddaughter Caylee. They are no longer even stepping out of the house to look for Caylee. It’s despicable! Monster did not just start lying a couple of months ago. She’s a long term pathological liar, who could always pull the wool over her parent’s eyes. I can’t even imagine what kind of lies she is telling them in that house right now. But, soon, I’m sure, she will be charged with murder and facing the prosecution team and jurors who only believe in proven facts and evidence. Monster will have come to the end of the line.

Snookers, the Count probably did tell them to do that. But also I think it was getting a little embarrassing. Very few people showed up to the last one. Now that might be because sincere supporters of the Ants (and there probably are some) are afraid to go to a vigil for fear of violence. But I also think the number of supporters has diminished as time has gone on. Especially after C blasted EquuSearch and they’ve done nothing to search for the child themselves.

Monster did say “There is a possibility that I may never see Caylee again” Even her lies are a telltale account of her selfishness. Notice she says “I may never see her again.” It’s all about me, me me.

Heck, my two sons went camping, with a group of friends, this weekend and it got cold and I started to worry that they didn’t take enough blankets. They no longer live at home and are 32 and 34 years old. LOL

People have said they wonder about G and him taxing his heart with all of this stress. It is a medical fact: stress can kill you. But I think C is far closer to a breakdown than G. She seems to be a type A personality, hyper, high-strung, far less capable of anger control than G.

I do not think she will make it through the coming months without a major breakdown. She is a prime candidate for a stroke or heart attack. This isn’t a *new* thing that she is going through, just the *worst* thing M has done. But the stress has been years long. She has lost weight and her face is drawn. If she hasn’t taken the time to sit down and cry this out, then she may not get the chance. Her physical heart may do it for her.

snookers… a long time ago we all agreed to disagree. So, here I am saying that I think the name Drac fits Count Dracula. As you said, he is a smart dude alright, but his job is to put a spin on everything the Ants have done so far to damage their image. He will try to polish them up to a glistening shine, so that people once again respect and have empathy for them. Not because of anything they do but because of how he spins things around to make them look good. All I know, so far, is that the Ants are protecting their monster daughter from telling the truth. They continue to buy in to her lies and deceit. I find it hard to like Drac anymore than I like the Ants at this time. I’m always open to change my mind… but for something I see the Ants doing not for something Drac is getting paid make it look like they’re doing.

I used Jesse’s name but it could be another person as a helper, however,donot think it was LV. No clue who it could be.
It bothers me however, that the Amscot manager did not report seeing an occupant of the car at 07.00 am on June 27th.
If we know where M spent the night on 6/26, it might explain more.

The defense attorneys on Nancy Grace always say the best defense is to go after the boyfriend. The problem is Casey had so many boyfriends it’s difficult to figure out who to go after.

I doubt if Baez is going to say Jesse killed Caylee. Jesse might have figured Cindy blamed him because she probably didn’t like him. I know Jesse Grund loved Casey but I think he loved Caylee too after believing she was his daughter for at least a year. I doubt if he had anything to do with it. He took a lie detector test.

If anybody helped Casey dispose of the body or cover up, it would be big brother Lee, who has been covering up her messes since she was old enough to get in trouble. He refused to take a lie detector test.

I think Baez will stick with “the nanny kidnapped Caylee” defense because if he now says Jesse did it and framed Casey, he is admitting she lied to the police. My bet is Baez will stick to the Anthonys claim that the imaginary Zenaida threatened to harm Caylee and her family if Casey told the truth and when she thought Casey had told someone the nanny killed Caylee and put the body in the trunk and took it out while it was at the towing yard. Sure Zenaida is a Houdini too?

I don’t believe anyone as arrogant and full of herself as Casey would ever plead insanity. She will say to the end she is innocent and left “my daughter with someone I trusted who betrayed my trust.”

I believe Casey deliberately made up the nanny so she could blame it on someone who can’t be found. If she blames it on a real person who actually exists they can take a lie detector test and the police can rule them out.

Because she doesn’t exist, Zenaida the nanny who was Casey’s friend for four years will never be found and maybe neither will Caylee so the defense can use that as reasonable doubt.

They may be able to find one juror who will believe Caylee is alive because they don’t want to believe a little girl could be killed by her own mother. Of course, Casey is tiny and will look like a movie star. Baez might even teach her how to shed “crocodile tears” for the jury.

CASEY’S ATTORNEY MAY HAVE BOTCHED LEGAL REQUEST

It appears Casey Anthony’s attorney, Jose Baez, botched his legal request to force detectives to stop testing evidence in the case.

Baez filed a motion with the Clerk of Court a week ago, asking for a halt to the lab testing being done by investigators to give him a chance to weigh in on how and where it’s done. Baez claimed investigators might be more concerned with cost and expediency than they are about accuracy and fairness.

The legal merits of his motion have yet to be decided, because Baez blundered by not notifying the judge assigned to the case about his motion. Nor has he asked the judge for a hearing. So his motion sits in the clerk’s office on the second floor of the courthouse going nowhere.

Anthony’s trial for child neglect and lying to investigators is scheduled for November 17. Eyewitness News asked Baez’s public relations firm whether he plans to ask for a hearing, but the firm has not returned the call.

Eyewitness News also learned that Baez was almost an hour late for the sentencing of his client, Nilton Diaz, in a Lake County child abuse death the day Anthony was released the first time. That same day, Baez shoved a reporter. He also kept the Lake County judge, the victim’s family and witnesses waiting. When he arrived, he made no apology.

Baez also requested a special hearing the day before that, asking for a delay in Diaz’s sentencing, telling the judge he expected the media to follow him to Lake County after Anthony’s release and that it would be prejudicial to Anthony.

Lake County Circuit Judge Mark Nacke denied Baez’s request for that delay. Baez ended up taking Casey back to her house the day she was released from jail before he headed to Lake County. No reporters followed him to Lake County that day. (End of article)

About LV and rest of ants refusing lie detectors. I donot think there is anything sinister about that.
Per BH they all agreed to lie detector in his RV but LV left to go into the house. When he came back, he advised his parents against the lie detector and would not do it himself either.
Obviously he went into the house to contact an attorney. Possible BB and BB advised against it.
If C would have taken a lie detector test may the Zany story would be debunked and afterall ,I think that BB is building his defense on that fictional character.
On the other hand , if M mentioned nanny to her mother often it sounds very close to zanny.
Anyway, I think they all refused the lie detector test on the advise of an attorney.

BTW, nobody ever gets arrested solely on not passing a lie detector test. They had to have more than that on them.

I think LE has found Caylee when the search was called off so abrutly. I think they are doing the testing on the remains, and when all their t’s are crossed, and their i’s are dotted this monster will be brought to justice. My concern is that someone will kill her before she goes to court for killing Caylee. She drives back and forth to BB’s office with her brother five days a week at the same time each day. Someone may just think they are doing society a favor by taking her out. I hope that doesn’t happen because I want to see her face when she gets the death sentence for murdering her baby.

Elaine, if Monster was interviewed today by media it would be like a “sideshow.” Everyone looking to see something like the “bearded lady,” the “two-headed man,” the “part-donkey/part devil” characters that are or were in carnivals.

She’s so obviously an “alien” being – at least judging from her behavior when her child went missing and during her police interviews and everything else we’ve learned.

I’m concerned because if she is not convicted of murder and only does a few years on the other charges she may come out with less of a “sideshow” image than she deserves.
Hopefully no one will want to buy HER book because who’s interested in MORE lies?

Elaine, I’m all for keeping her from reproducing.

But I don’t feel this will be an unsolved case as in JonBenet. There was no evidence at all found to tie the parents to her death and the whole crime scene was compromised, her body moved, covered, etc…

This is different in that Casey has a track record from hell. There are witnesses to her lying, stealing, saying she didn’t want Caylee. The body was in her trunk. She is not distraught nor sad. She has told several different stories.

My feeling is that she will be nailed.

Why didn’t Elaine post her feelings in this room. There is not that much going with the case today, so what is wrong with exchanging a few personal things to one another?

I can do both, talk about the case and i also enjoy talking about personal stuff, we all have it lol…i don’t take it as serious as some.. I go with the flow..lol… no news that I have heard, I do read alot of news… heres a story of interest lol

i heard this one the other day that amazed me… this father and son, got lost at sea ( not sure how) anyways they tread water for I believe 16 hours, the little boy is autistic. they also got seperated… the father kept yelling to the boy, BUZZ LIGHTYEAR TO INFINITY and then he would wait for the boy to respond, AND BEYOND he chanted this over and over to keep boy talking, until help arrived, do you believe 16 hours for gods sake, and guess how far apart they drifted ? one mile.. he said he got worried when he couldn’t hear him anymore… and then would hear him.. this to me is the most amazing miracle… both were ok when rescued i guess some hypothermia.. but i thought i could not tread water for 30 minutes and that would be it for me. and remember the boy was autistic…wow…

OMG Thank God they were rescued. I don’t think I could tread water for 30 minutes either. Miracles do happen don’t they.

i teared up, lol ( i do that alot)..even on commercials lol i was amazed at that story… really amazed think how long 16 hours is. I am sure love is all that got them through it and sheer willpower to survive, I’m tearing up even typing about it…lol.. I am an avid news follower and read alot of good stories like this, alot of bad M stories too however….

I am sure that almost everybody knows a mother that lost a child at a young age(under 18).

Years later they cannot even talk about it without getting tears in their eyes.
One girl I worked with years ago, had a younger sister that committed suicide at 16(over a boyfriend). It happened some years ago, but her mom(a very lovely very sane lady who also worked there) still kept Kimmie’s room with everything in place, since her last day alive and cleaned it once a week. After I left that place 10 years later, she still maintained that room in her home. Her way of dealing with the loss.
I think a mother never ever get over losing a child, they just learn to live with it.
That is why we are so abhorred with the incredible callous behavior of M.

I’m sorry, but I just don’t feel sorry for the Ant’s. They have done nothing but bash the LE and Equusearch for trying to find Caylee. What have they done except hold vigils on their front lawn, tape their property lines, and ask for donations.

If M. is so afraid of her mother then her mother should be the one to get the truth out of her. Her comment to LE that her mother already told her she would not forgive her if anything happened to Caylee. Well, C. something did happen to your grandchild, your daughter murdered her, which you already know. You smelled the car and you spoke the words to 911. It is time to stop all the lies, and bring that baby home, so she can be laid to rest.

I just now read this and apologize for posting the information about me having survived the hurricane. I guess that would definitely be considered off topic.

I also didn’t realize that mytwocents and elaine were appointed as rule-makers of Jan’s blogs, who has btw known for quite some time exactly what we discuss on her blog. My guess is that if SHE had a problem with it, she would have told us a long time ago. She’s not said anything as rude as these comments.

snookers- I think monster is way too arrogant to plea bargain, doesn’t strike me the type , but I could be wrong.

I think with or without a body they will convict her, this is an extremely strong feeling I have, and I feel that because of the circus this whole case has become, the public will demand no less from authorities. They will want to make it end in the only way that will appease the public with justice.

MMT – how kind of an offer. I think the best would be the Red Cross. When they arrived in the Houston/Galveston area, they were millions short bc of so many recent disasters. Many are suffering, esp those who normally live paycheck to paycheck but don’t qualify for normal gov assistance. Many new homeless, I fear. Thanks again for the kind words.

The truth is that living through this made me feel the impact of what happened to Caylee even more. Seeing parents take steps to protect their children, taking care of their every need, etc. Just highlights what it is to BE a parent.

I think “IT” will go down in history as a true monster–the epitome of selfishness. And hopefully a lesson for all young women. We as a society need to examine what we value – the whole “celebrity” bs, which is what “IT” has played into.

Hi, Concerned in Texas! Just got back on-line and I’m thrilled you are okay and so sorry to hear about the loss and damages in your area.

While you were gone we had a bit of a “hurricane” here so please try to withold judgement. There was a great deal of unpleasantness and personal attacks. Afterwards a number of us – for example me, Kris and Catherine – agreed to a clean slate and a fresh start.

I wasn’t on-line last night and when I got on this morning and read back I saw that a number of people had exchanged emails so they can personally communicate. When I saw Elaine’s post this morning I realized that’s what she was talking about but I knew that the exchange of emails happened on another article so she probably didn’t see it. And I knew that the people she was addressing weren’t online at the time. So I re-posted it later.

I thought Elaine’s message was showing that what they did was a great idea. I also thought that the point of exchanging emails was so the personal communication could be done that way.So basically I thought that Elaine’s post was reinforcing something that had already been agreed to and done by some folks here.

I didn’t know people would disagree with it or take offense and I didn’t intend any.

Hope everything improves fast where you are and that you can join us more often from now on.

I have no idea about a coverup but I do believe they know more than they are telling.

Unless a body is produced I can’t say I believe she’s not on this earth anymore.

Thank you Gumshoe. I had not heard the Jesse interview. One thing strikes me as so strange. Why on earth would Cindy “step in” between Jesse and monster and why would she not like him? Son of a minister, studying to be or already a cop, seems like a nice guy.

I wonder if C did not want Monster to find a steady guy/get married/move out? Was she so controlling that she’d resent that? After practically raising Caylee maybe she wanted to do everything she could to keep her – which would mean not letting monster go either.

Bad stuff going on in that house for a long time.

I saw Jesse on Geraldo on the Internet but I may not have seen the entire interview because I never heard him say Casey was a loving mother or that Cindy was controlling and didn’t like him. I also never heard him call her emotionless.

He said Cindy referred to herself as mommy to Caylee in front of Casey and himself. He said the Casey he knew would not deliberately hurt Caylee but that he didn’t see the side she is now showing. Geraldo asked him if he meant the partying side and he said yes. Jesse said he took a DNA test after Caylee was born and it said he was 100 per cent not the father. He said he had mixed emotions because he knew blood didn’t make a father and he wanted to step up to the plate. He said he watched her while Casey was working and he wanted to marry Casey and be a father to Caylee but she broke the engagement off in 2006. He said he hadn’t seen Caylee since December 2007.

He also said the Anthonys hadn’t been a close family so he was surprised when they all supported Casey. He said he suggested she give Caylee up for adoption because neither he nor she was ready to be a parent and she said no. He could be lying for her. He seemed to still love her the way he talked, although he said he “loved her” in past tense.

pammyliz – good question. But C could have chosen Jesse because he’s the only boyfriend of Monster’s that she knows. I don’t know that but I expect M did not take many home to meet her parents – especially after Jesse.

I don’t think he’s a cop anymore. He quit very recently I believe – which puts him back on the possibly involved? on some peoples’ lists.

Cindy apparently doesn’t like Hispanics. Maybe that’s why most of Casey’s boyfriends were Hispanics and may be why she made up a Hispanic name for a nanny. Jesse said she referred to Zanny the Nanny but never said her name was Zenaida. The cops questioned him during the lie detector test asking if she ever mentioned Xanex which is referred to as nanny. He said she’d asked hin about it. So maybe she was giving Caylee Xanex to knock her out and the police are on to it.

Jesse said he won’t believe Caylee is dead until he sees a body. A prosecutor on Geraldo said the cops could be not charging Casey for murder because they fear without a body there would be reasonable doubt from the jury that Caylee was dead.

Kristina Chester, M’s former friend, said she and her kids and M and Caylee walked around it somewhere between June 12 and 14. Quite close to the last day anyone saw her (June 15 or 16).

I understand your point of view.

What’s a little scary to me, though, is that in spite of the decomp “evidence” LE is still following up on tips of sightings of a live little girl.

Why would they do that? Two reasons that I can think of:
(1) LE is not ready to formally announce absolutely positively that the child is dead for reasons associated with how the prosecution wants to charge her and present its case
OR (2) because the evidence is not that definite and LE does not want to give the defense the chance to accuse them of not looking for a live child.

This whole time C&G have been talking and showing there ass in the media telling people that Caylee is out there…

But thats it! They haven’t proven any hard evidence that Caylee is ALIVE…

If Laci Peterson body never surface we would still be talking about her?….WE would be Right?

BUt, if we never found her body, would we be thinking that she just left and started a new life somewheres else without her family?

The best thing to hope for is irrefutable DNA (as in remains) AND a direct connection to monster. That’s another avenue defense could take – “Somebody else did it!” I think Cindy has already accused Jesse Grund of killing the child.
And when I think about it all of M’s friends have said what a great mom she was. So defense could spin it that sure M is a pathological liar but the behavior toward her daughter -witnessed by everyone – was terrific. Hence M could not have done her harm.
LE really needs something to lock it down.

So let me ask you something…

Are all the charges againest monster on one court date? Or are they seperate dates?

alliethinks: I don’t know how they will try all these different charges. I imagine the economic crimes will be tried separately from the others.
The big question is will they go thru with child neglect/lying to police before charging her with any kind of murder. Some of us have thought that they might not because it’s possible that the evidence of child neglect might be a large part of the evidence for murder and we don’t know if the same evidence can be used at trials for two different charges.

Seems to me that they could go ahead with a trial for the check fraud, get her locked up for at least a year or two (hopefully!) and then they’d have a bit more time to put together child neglect/murder etc while she’s behind bars.

I think the state could go for a trial on the economic charges whenever they want to. It doesn’t depend on what crimes she was charged with first. But there are some “judicial system” procedures like how long the defense will ask to have to prepare and stuff like that. So it’s up in the air for now. I don’t know enough about the intricacies of the judicial system – especially in Florida to know.

Monster is only interested in saving her own ass…

If someone else hurt or killed Caylee, Monster would have already turn them over to authorities….

Think about it…She couldn’t wait to call for police when protestor were at her door….

The thing to think about is who she talked with after she covered up Caylee body…..(Cause we all saw the pics of her going out getting shitty at the club)… maybe its just her family that knows now, but there could be that one person that she confided in before the LE were involved.
