Same-sex marriage bans called in SC, TN, VA, WI, leads in others, trails in AZ.

Eight states were voting on measures that would ban same-sex marriage. CNN.com has South Carolina, Tennesssee, Virginia and Wisconsin passing the same-sex marriage ban. The issue is too close to call in Arizona, but is trailing there with 48% voting to ban gay marriage and 52% against the ban. These totals with 67% of precincts reporting. The bans are winning in other states but with too few precincts reporting as yet to make the call. If these trends hold, seven states will ban same-sex marriage and join 20 other states with constitutional prohibitions.
