not a 3rd world!?!? (well, maybe….) lol

I survived Hurricane Ike, as did my home! But it’s pretty much like a 3rd world “down here.” I got power 2 days ago and have had sketchy internet connections. My neighborhood is the only one in my town with power. Half of Houston is w/o power.

Heartbreaking destruction here, and I’m trying to help out wherever I can. I’m one of the lucky ones. Most homes in my neighborhood and town suffered much damage.

Shortages of food supplies, gasoline, water, ice, etc. Stores don’t have produce, dairy, or meat products. Strange environment. No businesses are open, except an occasional Home Depot or a grocery store.

I’ve had little access to tv or internet. Kept up w/ Hurricane Ike through radio.

Missed you guys, and I’m way behind on this case. I’ve some catching up to do. Was certainly hoping either “what’s her name” would have been charged or they would have found precious Caylee by now. But it seems no one is searching. Is this true?

Everyone moved to that new/old blog so if you want to join them, I totally understand. I think I’ll wait until a new article is written and posted before I move. This page is getting sooooooo slow!

I have to admit that those protesters banging on their door the other day would scare anyone. Can you imagine having someone banging on your door, yelling at you. I would be afraid they would suddenly break down the door and come right in.

I don’t think the police have any obligation to make it their duty to drive by and G knows that so he hired the bodyguards.

I have noticed an attitude among the people inside the discussion that seems to suggest there is a strong need to see who is going to be the “King of Crap.” They seem to be closely flanked by the “Queen of Pain” and may perceive others as mere fodder for their glory and self serving analogies of what is written by other posters. I sense they are way out in left field and travel a road so deeply entrenched in their own tracks that even if a new road was an option they’d be too weak to pull the wagon out of their current rut.

It’s a shame that some of you claim to be college educated; perhaps you should have just flushed your money down the crapper. Or could it be you spent too much time at the ball games?

Amy and Peggyliz, I can’t even imagine losing your mom/parents in your 20″s! I am so determined to keep myself alive so my kids don’t have that happpen to them…my daughter is in school at Hendrix in Arkansas and I’ve been freaked out all day- sence that was Ike’s path.

MMT said soemthing last thread- it reallly struck me- it was somehting about monster’s heart/stomach. I hope she reads this and reminds me. it was deep!

I think george is not that bright however, my guess is that he was let go due to this ordeal. Cindy is intellectually challenged as well- as is Casy. I say this, because this level of delusional thinking is only possible if you either a psychological mess (due to trauma) or dumb. I’m thinking it’s the latter. On the other hand, if Cindy is a victim [Child sexual abuse (CSA)]and she married a perp. (which is typical) and then her children are victims- that would explain it… I’m a 30-year LCSW and currently a PhD clincial psychology student- and in my professioan opinion, I’d have to say I’d normally think it was trauma based…but they just come off so dumb…….with the propensity toward sociopathology…cops sometimes chose that profession because they are reacting against their own sociopathic tendencies- i’d have to say monster is a genetic sociopath- from george- and Cindy is just OCD-energetic, with career aspirations but just a dim bulb……………
