High water from the storm is causing a problem for the search led by Texas Equusearch for little Caylee Anthony. The director of the search team, Tim Miller said the suspension of the search is only temporary. They will return to the search to find Caylee as soon as the conditions improve.
Miller said that he was worried that the searchers vehicles could possibly run over Caylee’s body if she was lying somewhere under the flood waters so he doesn’t want to compromise any evidence,
They did have quite a turn out of volunteers prepared to start searching today, The team has been looking for Caylee for 10 days now. The more recent area being near the airport where they think Casey might have gone around the time Caylee first disappeared.
Groups of protesters have gathered in front of the Anthony home holding signs and at time screaming out things towards the Anthony’s since Casey Anthony was released from jail last week. Now I can understand their frustrations, because I am frustrated too with all of this but I don’t agree with how some of these protesters are bringing their children along with them to participate.
Some of the protesting has ended in violence which has caused Orange County Sheriff Kevin Beary to call for an end to the protesting, He says when they are called out by neighbors complaining they are taking away resources they could be using to find Caylee.
“There are two sides to every story and we don’t need that kind of battling going on. So I’m asking the community to calm down a little bit, focus on one thing… Caylee Anthony, that’s the main focus,” said Beary. “That’s always been the main focus and it needs to continue to be the main focus.”
Beary is asking anyone that knows anything about this case to please come forward even though Casey Anthony may be the missing part to this puzzle.
Meanwhile at the Anthony home security cameras have been installed around the house, where Casey is staying. I guess the Anthony’s feel the need to be protected more since the crowds have been gathering outside their home. I do find it strange that they suddenly have all this money that they never had before.
If the Anthony’s have come into some money suddenly and they are still insisting that Caylee is somewhere in Texas or Puerto Rico then how come they aren’t on a plane going there to look for her instead of worrying about bailing their brat daughter out of jail. They can’t possibly use the excuse that Casey needs to be out of jail so she can help them search for Caylee like they did before since Casey never lifted a finger or volunteered to give any information to help in the search. All she did was work on another story to give the police about what happened which I am sure is another lie.
Why is it up to the public to go to Texas or Puerto Rico to find Caylee, which would probably only be another wild goose chase to take the focus away from where they are searching for her now. If George and Cindy really believe their brat’s new story then they should be the ones heading that way to search. It looks to me like they think it is more important for them to stay home to spoil and pamper their brat than it is to find Caylee.
Leonard Padilla stated on CNN’s Nancy Grace that he is personally offering a $50,000 award to anyone that can lead him to Caylee. “Let’s hope he was serious and that someone will take him up on this offer so this nightmare can end for the world. Caylee needs to be found and laid to rest properly so she can rest in peace.

All those people knee deep in mosquito infected water, searching for a body. All that is needed is ONE word from that child’s mother to put this all to rest. How is she allowed to get away with this?

I am sorry to hear the search was called off. I hope the weather improves and it can continue. Finding Caylee is important so that she can get a proper burial, the police has the evidence it needs that Caylee is dead and maybe the medical examiner can find out how and when she died to help the prosecution.
I expect that when they find the body, the Anthonys will refuse to accept it saying Caylee is not dead, but in Puerto Rico, Mexico or Texas with Zaneida Gonzalez. The state will probably have to bury her.
It just makes my blood boil that Cindy and George have turned their back on their granddaughter and are protecting her murderer. They’ve done everything they could do hinder the investigation and the search for their granddaughter. It is such a tragedy. My heart just aches for that little girl who was thrown away like a piece of garbage by the family who claims to have loved and cherished her. What sick hypocrits.

I am so curious to know what date(s) Casey researched chloroform on her computer–if she did it after June 15th when Caylee was last seen, it would lead me to think it was part of her plan to have everyone believe she–and Caylee–were subdued by the “kidnappers”. I only shudder to think what excuse she’ll have for explaining the chloroform traces in the car. Also, if Caylee’s death was not accidental, I bet Casey would explain the flurry of calls from the airport as a frantic call for help to say that Caylee was being kidnapped, but no one answered.
I just wish she would tell us the truth about Caylee.

Padilla said that officials ruled it was Caylee’s hair just by a process of elimination because the hair had a death ring around it and they know Casey is alive. The fact that the DNA is identical has something to do with who the father is, Padilla said.
“Would the DNA from a child resulting from a union from Lee and Casey have basically the same characteristics? Making the preliminary DNA check not definitive as to who the hair samples are from,” he said.
Padilla’s statements come at a time when police have filed more charges against Casey Anthony, who has already been arrested twice. Officials charged Casey Wednesday with two counts of uttering a forged check, two counts of petty theft and two counts of fraudulent use of personal identification.
this is so frustrating I understand why it was halted, I have been following this from the beginning but I just recently read the court documents and I knew that Casey was crazy but that takes the cake. Anything she has ever said has been a lie not just about the case and caylee missing but everything. All the bad things she said about her family to her friends and they were all lies. these people are still standing by her. it upsets me deeply that the family has not been searching all i think they did was hand out fliers. I’ve seen Lee on a couple of TV shows. Right after the air tests came back saying there had been a dead body in Casey’s car, I saw a video of Lee on an Orlando station saying he couldn’t comment on that but that he loved his sister and niece both and can’t wait for his niece to come home.
On 20/20, Lee said, “The only thing she is guilty of is not reporting Caylee missing for a month.”
Padilla said on Nancy Grace he believes Casey told Lee and Cindy what happened after the air tests came back because they started acting different after that.
I can’t believe how the mother, grandparents and uncle of a child who has been missing for three months and believed dead never shed a tear. They speak as if Caylee is away on vacation.

I agree with many of you that she should be in jail. However because of Florida laws she has to be tried in something like 190 days, so they cannot charge her with charges that could keep her in jail until they have a case they believe they can prove. The charges against her allow her bail.
I do not like her, I think she killed her child, but I understand that the police’s hands are tied.
I just so want this to end, like many of you I cannot even watch Cindy anymore.
I still agree with my parents on this one. The authorities on behalf of the town/state of florida should file a suit against them after this is concluded. They deserve to lose everything because of this their home included. To have that knowledge, or to even know that your daughter has it is preposterous! My father and mother would be in my face grilling me in the kitchen and I would be too afraid to move for fear of getting knocked on my ass by my dad. Fess up and tell your parents. It’s kind of strange nothing is coming out of the Anthony camp. I guess the new attorney told them to keep their mouths shut. I think the legal team for the Anthony’s are busy going over all the discovery info. Orange County Police Dept. disclosed to them. There was a forensic guy on NG who said he was contacted by JB to dispute the air sample test done at the “Body Farm”.
I am more interested in what Equusearch will find when they continue their search for Caylee. I pray they will find Caylee.

You know I thought when I became a grandparent, I would worry less about my kids, I learned there were just more people to love and worry about. When I would tend my grandkids as babies, I was way more careful than raising my own, because I felt more responsibility towards it and could not imagine hurting my kids that way. Having lost three kids, the pain is horrendous. I can understand the the Anthony’s don’t want to face that pain, but I feel certain they are going to have to and maybe know that their daughter caused it.

Catherine, I agree and it is hard to think like her. I truly feel she was just way too jealous of Caylee’s relationship with her grandparents. It would have given them joy to have Caylee and would have taken away from her.
I read on the other site that she expected her parents to give her their home. They would never have done that if she gave them Caylee. Cannot verify truth in this.

I so agree with the theory that Casey killed Caylee to get back at her parents for throwing her out after she cleaned out her grandmother’s bank account that was set up to pay for her grandfather’s nursing home care.
I believe Casey is capable of being a mass murderer. I believe she ordered the chloroform with the intention of killing her parents and Caylee but her parents threw her out before she could accomplish that. Remember that she had told friends her parents were going to sign over her house to them.
If her parents and Caylee were all dead, she could live in their house and spend their savings and have all the parties and boyfriends she wanted.

I share everyone’s concern and sadness over that poor innocent child. However,I don’t think Caylee is dead. Maybe just wishful thinking on my part. I think that slut sold her child to someone, who did, in fact, take Caylee out of the country. Perhaps that is why she does not seemed concerned. I can see her type making up half-truths like kidnapping to cover herself, Also she was by the airport, right?

I agree with all you said except that her parents threw her out. Casey used Caylee as a pawn to keep her parents hopping. They adored Caylee, have said she was their whole life. (I’m sure, as Casey once was.)
I think Casey was enraged at being caught, and possibly Cindy throwing up to her all her recent lies and thefts, making Cindy have to go bankrupt and cash into 401K–I think Cindy unleashed months of fury on Casey on Father’s Day after finding out from her(Cindy’s) mom that Casey ahd stolen from Cindy’s mom also. Neighbors said there was a heated argument at the Anthony’s that day. I think Casey was so enraged at

I don’t think Cindy would have kicked Casey out knowing she would take Caylee from the home to God knows where. On the contrary, she probably begged her not to take Caylee. I think Casey decided that she was going to shut Cindy up once and for all and spent Father’s day night putting her plan into motion.

Cindy sounded frantic on Feb. 15 when she finally found Casey and she wouldn’t take her to Caylee and then admitted Caylee had been missing for 31 days. She clearly wanted to find her granddaughter. I am wondering if the search was called off fo some other reason. One of our posters is from Orlando and says there isn’t a chance of flooding or excessive rains in the forecast for the area.
I looked up the weather forecast myself while there’s a chance of rain M-F, there’s only 2 days with 50% chance and all the other days much less chance.

I’m sure she was so upset that she didn’t connect the dots: dead body, missing granddaughter, daughter not reporting granddaughter missing for 31 days equals murder in the first degree. Once she did, she started the cover up: the smell was a decayed pizza, air tests mean nothing, someone could have put a dead body in the car after it was towed to the lot, my daughter is Mother of the Year, the kidnappers have Caylee and are keeping her safe and alive and well in Texas, Mexico or Puerto Rico and she’ll soon be home with her family.
Cindy is so much like Casey. She is a pathological liar and lives in a fantasy world also. Everyone within distance of the sound of her voice can’t believe the garbage that comes out of that mouth. She even swears and throws tantrums like her daughter.

I am so afraid of them not finding her remains and Casey basically getting away with this. Caylee is presumed dead almost three months now. Time is sure not on our side, but we here of bodies being found and identified much later, sure hope that is the case here. In most cases I would think at least the person has to live with what they did, I don’t think it would bother her in the least. She is a poor excuse for a human being.

I got home from the search about an hour ago and I have been pondering what to post on here. I want to say something without saying too much, if you know what I mean. I’ve rewritten this several times to try to get it right.
It was very hot today, but no different than any other Florida summer day. We were encouraged to drink a lot of water. Our ATV driver had a cooler with him that was fully stocked.
The ground has dried significantly. We didn’t encounter any substantial water today in any of my searches (other than ponds, lakes, etc). Yesterday was pretty much the same. Some muddy areas, but nothing major. There were areas with standing water that most likely had been dry in the past, but we’re not talking about 3 feet of water…nothing that major. Are there swamps to deal with? Yes, but that will always be the case in Florida. I’m not saying that the conditions I had were the same for other searchers, but that was my experience yesterday and today.
Today’s search was eventful and productive. After leaving command center, I returned to my search location and it was blocked off with police tape. I will be watching the news closely over the next few days.
That’s really all I can say. I would love to go into more details, but I just can’t. I’m not trying to be mysterious and cryptic, but I would hate to jeopardize the investigation in any way.
Since Tim has said that the search was called off for environmental reasons, I guess we just have to take that at face value and trust that Tim knows what he is doing. I’ve only met him today and he seems like a top-notch guy.
I keep thinking what more can the police do to get answers out of this girl and her parents,beside maybe threatening them within an inch of their lives,( which I think is illegal)I can see in the future other young smarty pants know it all kids pulling this carp thinking they will get away with a crime too.The crap this Casey girl is pulling on the legal system,has to end ,I wish there was a legal way to get the truth out of this family ( and I say family with a chuckle ) because I cannot figure out how this family functioned all these years and family and if they have any friends said nothing.I would also like to see this horriable story come to and end ,I mentioned on another blog that I hope God is keeping precious Caylee Marie safe so the forencis people can tell what happened,But the longer she goes missing dont they ( forencis) have a harder time with the cause of death? Can you imagine the power struggle going on in that house since Caylee’s birth? Cindy and Caylee going head-to-head day in and day out, both with controlling personalities? They both take a lie to the very end of the earth. And neither of them GET TIRED OF IT!
Other people who go through something as traumatic as losing a child and grandchild are overwhelmed with grief after 3 months of not knowing where their loved one is. Some can’t get through a month without it physically wearing them down.
But Cindy and Casey seem to thrive on all the attention THEY get from Caylee missing. And I think it gives them new strength to fabricate even more lies.
I’ve thought the same thing gumshoe,I really think in this day and age of reality tv those 2 think this is their own show (and they are just about calling all the moves )
This may seem like a dumb question but during the 1st jail house meeting why did Casey keep asking for tony’s number? I thought that was strange I mean every girl knows her man’s digit’s.Did I miss something as far as Tony’s number goes?
Jesse Grund’s (ex-fiance) father is a preacher. He and his wife kept Caylee the first 10 months of ehr life, he said on his myspace.
After that, George kept Caylee some in between jobs. But he had gotten the new security guard job about 2 weeks before Casey left with her for good (June 9?) and so, that too may have caused Casey enough trouble (not having any sitter at all) to do what she did.
Wonder where Casey was going during the day to need a babysitter for Caylee. She probably just did not want to be a mom…

She only met Tony first time May 24. And first dates were June 6, 13, 20. But she moved in with him sometime on or after June 16 up until she was found by Cindy on July 15.

Maui4me, I’m going to try and answer your question regarding Cindy’s July 3rd blog.
The last time Cindy actually saw or spoke to Caylee was June 15th,(father’s day) When Casey left the house with Caylee the next morning, Cindy was already at work and she never saw Caylee again. Although, Cindy missed Caylee she wasn’t really worried because she knew (or thought) that Caylee was safe with Casey. And, although she could call Casey on her cell phone, she didn’t know where they were staying. Casey would give Cindy some type of excuse whenever Cindy asked to see or talk to Caylee. (Caylee wasn’t home, she was with the babysitter, she’s sleeping, she went to the beach with the nanny, etc.) Cindy felt that Casey was simply punishing her by keeping Caylee away… thus the blog saying Caylee was missing. Missing from her life is what she meant. (She had no idea how much more serious this was.) Cindy was tormented by the pain of not seeing Caylee every day as she had since Caylee’s birth. Not until July 15th when Cindy picked up the car from the tow yard did she suddenly realize the extent of Caylee being missing.

I’m not sure of the sequence of these events, but I keep thinking of things that happened: Casey and Caylee move from parents home, Casey steals gasoline from parents’ home, Casey borrows shovel from neighbor.
I think she murdered her daughter, and burned her body, and buried the ashes. Is it possible to find ashes?

But she asked for Tony’s number the day she was arrested. She was at Tony’s house that very day when Cindy went with Amy and found her there. She had to leave with a raving, demanding Cindy without explaining to surprised Tony what was going down.
She was probably wanting to call him to tell him whatever lie she had thought up for the reason she was in jail and to make sure he was going to stand by her.
Or—he may have known something, as some suspect, and she wanted to give him a heads-up.
I still wonder where she was going? I read on ather blog that she made a x rated movie ,go figure, and some of the bloggers believe she may have sold little caylee marie, so if she did sell her maybe it was to one of the fly my night xxx movie people she worked for ,but then that raises a question if she was making money why would she sell her ,I dont mean to sound naive but just wondering,I dont think she was doing drugs because she was in the jail for almost a month and she would have went through some kind of withdrawel

Am I the only person that thinks it odd that she found her daughters car smelling of death and didnt immediately call 911 and report both her daughter and granddaughter missing? Instead she goes and tracks down the daughter. Hmmmm.
Elizabeth, although Casey could have tried to burn Caylee’s body, she could not burn the body down to ashes. Only a crematorium has a furnace hot enough to burn a corpse to ashes.

Danna, I think Cindy was panic stricken after she picked up the car and just wanted to find Casey and Caylee and make sure they were okay. Even with that death smell in the car, I’m sure she didn’t immediately think the worst because she kept in touch with Casey by cell phone even thought she didn’t know where they were living.
Casey wouln’t have had to have a definite place to go when she left June 16. All her friends stayed with each other all the time. They were a college crowd–group–of friends. Casey, a highschool dropout with no college (although she told people she was “in school” or going to go to school” and even told some of that crowd that she had graduated from Valencia, a junior college.
I think she had found a new, swinging, more sophisticated set of friends and wanted to be a part of that scene, but lugging a 2 year old to some of their parties was cramping her style.
And I think she loved the idea of them all cohabitating in each other’s apartments, because it didn’t look bad on her then to need/want a place to stay.
She just showed up at Jesse’s one day somewhere around the middle to last of June and asked to take a shower there because her parents weren’t home. (did they take her house key on June 15 during the heated argument?)
Anyway, her lifestyle didn’t require having a definite place to go when she left.

The DNA in the trunk of Casey’s trunk blows the theory of Casey selling Caylee. That sweet little baby is dead.
However, I would not put it pass Casey to knock Caylee out with chloroform, and have some pervert do horrible things to Caylee, and Casey could pick up some quick cash. It may have went to far with the chloroform and Caylee was given to much and she died. Casey then put Caylee in her car, and took her back to her parents home, so she could figure out how to rid of Caylee’s body.

At the time of the 911 call, she didn’t know who had left the car at Amscot. She had no details, just that Caylee was missing a month and the trunk smell. I do think she suspected the very worst.
Wasn’t it Cindy herself who said that Casey was a moocher? Casey couldn’t keep a friend longer than a year or so. Someone mooching off you gets old real quick. I think that Casey got away with so much because everyone thought she was so cute. She would put on that phony smile and her ugly soul didn’t reveal itself immediately.

I thiink the police are waiting for everything to come back from the testing labs, and then they are going to charge Casey with the homicide of Caylee. They don’t need a body to get a conviction. If she is convicted, and given the death penalty the police would probably convert the sentence to life with no parole if she tells them where Caylee is buried. I just pray that Equusearch finds Caylee and she is laid to rest. My heart breaks for that baby.

I think the most frustrating thing for law enforcement right now is they don’t have cause of death. I think without a body they would not be able to prove premeditation, murder one. That’s another reason they are so desperately searching for Caylee’s body. That’s another reason why they are stalling with a murder arrest. I’m hoping that maybe the hair will disclose if there was chloroform used… that could very well clinch a murder one conviction, without having a body. Of course, I still want Caylee found. It’s most important to us that she get the proper burial that she is so deserving of. May she be taken from a dark, watery grave and lovingly placed on a bed of pink, fragrant roses.

But we only know of one call Cindy made after that–it was to Amy, Casey’s friend. Amy accounted for Casey immediately, Cindy went and picked Amy up, and Amy told her how to get to Tony’s house where Casey was.
Cindy probably wanted to verify with Amy whether it was necessary to call 911 and report ANYTHING–if Casey was accessible, then she assumed Caylee was too.
Cindy probably didn’t know what to do. A lot of things happened pretty fast that day.

The Anthony’s sure made a mistake putting the 20/20 piece on national T.V.. It certainly doesn’t show Casey in a very good light.
I pulled up that photo of Casey being released from jail and it’s purely disgusting to see her smiling under that baseball cap. This woman is happy with all the attention she’s getting. I’m sure she would commit this heinous act all over again because she thinks it’s worth her being the center of attention. Something she’s always craved. Caylee, evidently meant NOTHING to her. I look back at pictures of her with Caylee and Casey always looks like she has a false smile on her face. This monster has to go down with murder one.

They can tell by the hair samples if chloroform was used and if it was used previously at earlier dates.
Would chloroform show up in bones? If so, and Casey used chloroform on Caylee, then she definitely chose the wrong way to get rid of her. Beating, smothering, drownng, or gunshot can’t be determined from bones, I don’t believe.

sugarmack, I’m afraid that most of the strategy is coming from the defense team and not the Anthony household. Believe me, Baez is coaching them on what to say and how to act. Defense attorneys are good at their job. They look at it as a game they have to win in order to become a high-paid lawyer. Winning in this case, doesn’t necessarily mean an acquittal (although that’s what Baez would like) If there is an overwhelming amount of evidence and Baez gets Casey convicted of only manslaughter… that’s a win for Baez.. a feather in his cap. The ultimate though, would be an acquittal, which, in my eyes, is never going to happen ‘cause people lie, people die and people go to jail for murder.
What a cold b-tch she must be. She just keeps telling the same story over and over until it became real in her mind.

It just destroys me to even think about how little Casey thinks about Caylee. I’m sure if someone didn’t mention Caylee’s name, Casey would never say Caylee again. It totally breaks my heart.

Jose is just sitting back waiting for thr prosecutors to show their hand, then he is going to dispute all the tests. Just like the O.J. trial. It’s up to the prosecutors to prove that Casey is guilty. I think they can do it and win.

Have any of you EVER heard of that prior to this case? I know I haven’t.
I would bet my last nickel that the prosecution has enough evidence to put Casey away for a long, long time. (of course, I felt that way about OJ too. aaarrrgggggg.)

We, on here , who have been so desperately praying for Caylee will emotionally be taken through a meat grinder when the trial takes place. We will go through all this again, plus much, much more. I have never laid eyes on Caylee Marie Anthony, but the Greta home interview with Cindy broke my heart. All the pictures of baby Caylee on the wall and her toys and bed, especially the Elmo doll collection, brought tears.
I can’t imagine seeing these things daily, her little clothes, her sippy cups, and still ahving the strength to go outside and fued with protestors and be on TV shows every other day composed.
I’m curious… since the day of Cindy’s 911 call, have you ever seen Cindy breakdown and cry? I missed the Greta home interview.

How quickly she goes to trial after that will depend on the defense team and how long it takes them to get their strategy in place. The prosecution will be ready with all their evidence but the defense will have a hard road ahead of them because of all the lies Casey told. But, mark my words… you will hear things coming from the defense team that will want to make you vomit.

Therapist, Yes, ONCE have I seen Cindy cry. It was at the court hearing when she testified. When she walked up to testify, she looked at Casey who had turned to look at Cindy and she broke down then. She sat down and told the court she was sorry to break down, but that was the first time she had seen Casey in person since her arrest.
She cried for Casey. Talking about Caylee, she was stoic.

If we are privy to the court proceedings, I am sure we will be furious with the defense and want to vomit also. They will pull out all the stops and play as dirty as they dare,implicating others, bringing in the lifestyles, secrets, and any ugly thing about a prosecution witness that they can dig up. (especially forensics experts)
But I believe the prosecution has enough timeline and evidence to refute whatever the defense tries to sling.
Still, it will not be fun wating day after day for justice while hearing trash slung all over the courtroom.
Danna, if you’re still on here… I was a little confused about what you said in regards to a volunteer searcher going to the Anthony’s house. Was this today? And did she just knock on their door?

I’ve always heard that juries have a difficult time with understanding scientific evidence. Thus, the smarter the jury the better.

Caylee Anthony : Ground Zero : Day 3 Update
If you have been following my posts you are aware that I am in Orlando, Florida covering the search for Casey Anthony’s missing daughter, three-year-old Caylee Anthony.
Earlier today, I gave my readers an opportunity to join in the search by recommending areas for me to explore. We had a great response and as I result I made it to a variety of different places. I have photos of each area I went to, which I plan on posting here sometime tomorrow.
I then went to the Texas EquuSearch command post and spoke with Tim Miller’s wife, Georgeann Miller. She said that while they are both sad that the search had to be suspended, they are not giving up and will be back as soon as the waters recede. I asked when that might be and she estimated they would be back in about a month. In the mean time, they are going to continue the search for Natalee Holloway, a young woman who went missing in Aruba, on May 30, 2005.
After leaving the command post, which was a virtual ghost town, I went to the Anthony family home, where I found out about George’s alleged assault on two protesters – a young man and an elderly woman. For more information about that and to watch video, please see my last post.
I took a quick break for dinner and returned to the Anthony Family home at about 8:30 p.m. for a vigil that was being held in front of the house.

When I got back to my hotel, I found a request in my inbox to appear on The Morning Show, with Mike and Juliet, on FOX, to discuss the search effort. The request was sent in the afternoon, before the search cancelation, so I do not know if they still want me to make an appearance or not. It is too late for me to call them, so I forwarded the request to my public relations people at Discovery. I’ll find out more about it in the morning and if it is a go I will let you know.
Monday will be my last full day in Orlando, as I am scheduled to fly out Tuesday evening. I have sent interview requests to George, Cindy, Lee and Casey, but as of this writing they have yet to responded. I never expected them to but I had to give it a shot. Apparently they do not wish to give me their side of the story.
As an aside, when I was at the vigil Cindy yelled at the lady in front of me for standing on her property. When Cindy came walking over she did not notice me standing there. Probably a good thing, as I know she reads this blog and I am pretty certain she would not have been happy to see me.
As another aside, if the Florida Highway Patrol happens to read this, please note that I did not mean to blow through the toll on Route 408. My rental car is supposed to be equipped with Sun Pass and E-Pass, and I did drive through one of those lanes, but for some reason it did not work and a siren went off when I drove through it. It was an automated toll, so there was not much I could do but continue driving. Sorry! eer… send the tick to me via Hopespring Drive

When looking at the remote area, I can’t even fathom how in the world they can find anything let alone a little tiny, decomposed body. I’m worried now that they will never find her.

Well, she had already truned to look at Cindy and George to her back left. That is the first closed-mouth-smile-then-wide-mouth-smile that has been played over and over (and the pics that have been shown of the first of it-the closed mouth part.)
But as Cindy walked to the front and passed (not close to) Casey, they looked at each other and Casey actually looked like she slumped slightly and looked afraid. Or maybe it was more “wary” than afraid. But Cindy broke into tears.
Casey ahsn’t cried but once that I have seen. That was when the judge basically told her “she was a lying trash heap” (quote is my words)and told her the bond wasn’t going to be lowered. All other times she has stood tall with a look of defiance.
The rising waters may wash her out. Let’s think positive. She is out there. We just don’t know where yet. And Tim said they have found bodies after way longer than 3 months.
I’m getting dyslexic with my typing so I am calling it a night.

you know, we’ve analyzed Casey enough to know that she is a pathological liar and a narcissistic psychopath. She’s NEVER going to have any feelings of regret for what she has done. But, it’s still hard for me to realize that Cindy is of a similar breed. In the videos, Cindy displays so much love with Caylee. It’s hard to see Cindy so cold now. Even if Caylee was alive (which I know she isn’t) wouldn’t Cindy still be tormented in the fact that someone else has her and Caylee may be crying, cold, hungry or being tortured in some way? This is just so bizarre…
Well… it’s late her in Michigan… gotta get some sleep so I’ll let you go for tonight!
I have been following this each and every day and believe that precious Caylee was burned and dumped into a large body of water, never to be found or surface again, much the same as Duncan admitted doing with dear little Dylan. After Duncan burned Dylan all day and night over a fire pit, Dylan’s sister Shasta helped Duncan haul Dylan’s ashes and dispose of his ashes in the river.
cj that is another tragic story. Those are the things that make you wonder what it’s all about. Poor, sweet Dylan. He was writing those notes hoping that they would be set free. And his poor sister … I’m not sure how she will ever be the same.
Well, on this very sad note, I must go get some sleep.
As for poor Dylan, yes another sad story and I am so close to where this all happened with Dylan’s mother, her boyfriend and Dylans older brother all being killed. I live maybe a half hour or so from there by car..
But at least Duncan admits his guilt and is ready to die for his evil crimes.

About the live web cam on myfoxorlando.com - Sometimes the live web cam is not listed at all in the side bar. It wasn’t last night when I first checked. Then I checked just a few minutes later and there it was and that’s when I posted it on our previous blog. Every time I watch it the screen goes white after a few shots. So I guess that’s the way it works.
I go back to the article and refresh and then click on the web cam and try it again.

I am so sorry to see that the Anthonys are able to drain even more of Orange County’s resources by creating a spectacle (having Monster mom at home) that requires the presence of police. On the other hand I love that the police are handing out tickets! I hope they cost a lot! If those gawkers want a show let them pay for it! The $ won’t amount to much but it’s something back in the County’s coffers!
Also, Gumshoe, you mentioned that Casey showed up at Jesse’s on the 16th I think and asked to take a shower? Was Caylee with her? Showering is so symbolic. Can be a psychological and physical “cleansing,” you know? Although with the heat in Florida it’s probably just due to the weather.
And wow. I can’t believe the Anthonys “take it to the street” like this! C, G and L so close to the mob and with George’s temper and Cindy’s hammer! It is a recipe for disaster and I truly hope something does not happen to anyone - especially C, G or L because then they will surely be the “victims” (although they seem to be asking for it going out to the street like that). Arrogance? Stupidity? Both?
I was a little concerned about the FBI profiler on 20/20 saying that maybe the police haven’t charged her with murder because they can’t put her in that car. I think they can still charge her with at least negligent homicide. I don’t know what the sentence is for negligent homicide.
She was responsible for her toddler. Even if one jury member believed Casey’s story that kidnappers overpowered her in the park and stole Caylee and took the car and killed her, she was still responsible for the death by not reporting the kidnapping immediately. Fear that they would hurt her family is no excuse. Her child should come first.
I’m not concerned about a juror believing her bogus story because she is a pathological liar and lied about everything.
I am concerned about one or more jurors believing it was an accident, since many bloggers don’t believe she deliberately killed the child. I hope the state charges her with first degree murder if the state of Florida gives the jury the option to find her guilty of second degree or felony homicide. I’d hate to see a hung jury.
I’d hate to see her get away with a lesser charge if she did plan to kill her child with chloroform and killed her deliberately to get back at her mother. I’m sure that’s what the state will argue.
Having a body that shows how and when she died would help but the state may never get that.
hi all, I found the new blog, don’t know what happened to pickles.. anything new in the case? I didn’t hear anything over the weekend.
I don’t mind waiting as long as it takes for investigators to follow all leads, get all forensics and dot all the “i’s” and cross the “t’s” as people have said. Just as long as they have the very best case possible for the most serious charges they can bring.
I do worry a little that LE might try too hard and bring more serious charges against her than they can prove. Then she’ll get off.
I’ve also been thinking that they may not want to actually take her to court on the child neglect charges before charging her with some form of murder or connection to the death. The reason might be that to prove her responsibility in a death they would have to use evidence of neglect - and if neglect has already been prosecuted then all that evidence could be deemed in admissable (because she’d already been convicted of it and can’t be “tried” again on that). I could be totally off-base about that. I’m certainly not an expert. Only wondering.

it wasn’t the 16th that she showed up for a shower. jesse couldn’t remember the exact date so put it sometime during the middle to last part of June. (maybe around the 24th, day of going home and gas cans discovered? or 27th day of car abandoned?)

Mytwo cents, there won’t be any trial on child neglect. Those charges were filed to hold her in custody until they could get proof Caylee is dead. They’ve got that proof and now they can charge her with murder or homicide.
I’m sure the state has much more evidence against Casey than we know since they are leaking it little by little. We’ve heard about air test results, DNA results, chloroform, computer searches. They are building a case for murder or homicide, not child neglect.
There is no hurry to charge her since they’ve got her under house arrest and they are still searching for the body.
If they don’t find the body by November, they will file some kind of charges against her for Caylee’s death.
Thank you Concerned about Caylee. I was a little worried that they might not have enough for more charges by November. (Is that when the 100+ days are up when they have to do something about the current charges?) Also I guess they could prosecute on the economic crimes any time they want to. And hope to get her in the slammer for those for a while.

was a little concerned about the FBI profiler on 20/20 saying that maybe the police haven’t charged her with murder because they can’t put her in that car.
They may not can put her in the car at time of death because of not having a body to prove the time of death, but it is Tony’s sworn statement that she called him to pick her up at Amscot, that he did pick her up, and that her car was left there “for George to pick up.”
Casy’s car was in her custody at least up until June 27th.
Yes, it will be hard to prove that someone else didn’t kill Caylee, know where Casey’s car was, put Caylee in the trunk using the keys Casey left, and drive off. Maybe they will say Caylee was kidnapped, killed, and put in Casey’s trunk while she was still driving it between June 17-June 27. (maybe pin it on Dante who moved out of Sawgrass on June 17. Or Zenaida who can’t be found.)
But we have to keep going back to the beginning. May 24, she meets Tony and begins a relationship. No one sees Caylee much during that time but also can’t verify where she really is being left. Caylee isn’t seen at all after June 16.
If Zenaida/Dante/Boogyman kidnapped Caylee ON OR AFTER June 16(and Casey swore it was June 9 which defnse will have to ‘fix’), then how does defense explain the partying? The photos? The myspace entries? The car being in Casey’s custody during this whole time as witnessed by Tony and her other friends and George himself on the 24th? The fact that she didn’t report Caylee missing until the day Cindy did it in spite of her asking for “one more day’?
How do they explain that someone else, not Casey, put dead Caylee in the trunk and Casey had no choice but to drive around with it and then dispose of it? (the car was only at Amscot 3 days before being towed to the tow yard and was accounted for at the tow yard the time it was there–of course defense could say someone brought Caylee back to the tow yard but who will believe that?)
Defense has to have a story that will allow a time and place for Caylee to be kidnapped, killed, and placed in Casey’s trunk. And it has to match the timeline prosecutors have put together with sworn statements and evidence.
And then defense has to come up with a stroy of WHY Casey drove around with a dead Caylee in the car. I really don’t believe they can disprove that she didn’t knowingly drive around with the stench in that car.
Since searchers have taken a break from searching, we won’t be getting any more information from them on the scene down there.
We have to rely on the news reports only until the searchers go back. I’m thinking the election and weather will crowd out news on the Casey Anthony case in coming weeks.

Like soooo…. many others I have watched this tragic story unfold into almost a circus like atmosphere, I’m wondering if the posibility exists if may be everyone knew about caylee, right from the beginning,and sent Casey away, so neighbors, friends and family wouldnt ask questions as to where little Caylee was and it was actully George who disposed of the body and thats why Casey can actually say without a doubt she does’nt know where she is, Iam also wondering if the posibility exist they diposed of her in another part of the state or perhaps drove to another state to dispose of the body thats why she isnt talking because she knows they will never find the body. HMMMM
I HAVE SEVERAL QUESTIONS: maybe some have been answered already but would like to know.
1-Is the corner of the yard (where the cadaver dogs hit on) secluded enough that someone burring a body there could do it without neighbors seeing them do it? I am especially talking about the spot by the pool. The area that Cindy had such a lame excuse about! But then again all of Cindy’s excuses seem LAME.
2-Why are authorities not looking at the land fills? I believe Padilla is on to something!!!!
3-Have they checked for Chloroform in the home and in the areas where the cadaver dogs hit on?
3-Why aren’t these stupid grandparents looking for Casey and are always angry at all the people trying to help? That is so shocking to see that kind of reaction toward people helping. They do not seem to have any sadness about their granddaughter but only what looks like excuses for Casey.
4- Why have we not been able to know who the real father is? Or do they know? The other set of Grandparents should have the right to know.
5- Is the sand bod with the cover big enough to hide a body temporarily? Is the back yard in all these spots secluded enough from the neighbors to not see what may have happened.
6-Where were the Grandparents during the time that Caylee may have been killed there at this house? (if in fact this is where she died.)
7-Why is Lee Anthony being so silent?
Why does he act so sheepish?

First of all if the monster went to Jesse’s at the end of June to take a shower that would fit perfectly in to the time line. Most likely the monster killed Caylee on June 16th and kept her in the trunk until the day she abandoned her car. I’m sure that being in the swamp area and carrying Caylee would have made the monster sweaty and dirty. I wonder if the car was left at a walking distance from Jesse’s home. Where she could have walked to Jesse’s, taken a shower and met Tony back at the car. (Refresh my memory please… it was Tony who picked her up at the car wasn’t it?)
