I am sorry to hear the search was called off. I hope the weather improves and it can continue. Finding Caylee is important so that she can get a proper burial, the police has the evidence it needs that Caylee is dead and maybe the medical examiner can find out how and when she died to help the prosecution.

I expect that when they find the body, the Anthonys will refuse to accept it saying Caylee is not dead, but in Puerto Rico, Mexico or Texas with Zaneida Gonzalez. The state will probably have to bury her.

It just makes my blood boil that Cindy and George have turned their back on their granddaughter and are protecting her murderer. They’ve done everything they could do hinder the investigation and the search for their granddaughter. It is such a tragedy. My heart just aches for that little girl who was thrown away like a piece of garbage by the family who claims to have loved and cherished her. What sick hypocrits.

Kudos to all the people who are out searching for Caylee–all of their hard work is truly appreciated by those of us who want to see justice served and peace for Caylee.

I am so curious to know what date(s) Casey researched chloroform on her computer–if she did it after June 15th when Caylee was last seen, it would lead me to think it was part of her plan to have everyone believe she–and Caylee–were subdued by the “kidnappers”. I only shudder to think what excuse she’ll have for explaining the chloroform traces in the car. Also, if Caylee’s death was not accidental, I bet Casey would explain the flurry of calls from the airport as a frantic call for help to say that Caylee was being kidnapped, but no one answered.

I just wish she would tell us the truth about Caylee.

I do feel really bad for the neighbors. IMHO Casey should have been taken somewhere else away from that neighborhood. How about Baez’s house, they can meet anytime and he can defend her 24 hrs a day.

this is so frustrating I understand why it was halted, I have been following this from the beginning but I just recently read the court documents and I knew that Casey was crazy but that takes the cake. Anything she has ever said has been a lie not just about the case and caylee missing but everything. All the bad things she said about her family to her friends and they were all lies. these people are still standing by her. it upsets me deeply that the family has not been searching all i think they did was hand out fliers. The sheriff’s office and jail should keep Casey in custody until the body is found or Caylee appears.

I’ve seen Lee on a couple of TV shows. Right after the air tests came back saying there had been a dead body in Casey’s car, I saw a video of Lee on an Orlando station saying he couldn’t comment on that but that he loved his sister and niece both and can’t wait for his niece to come home.

On 20/20, Lee said, “The only thing she is guilty of is not reporting Caylee missing for a month.”

Padilla said on Nancy Grace he believes Casey told Lee and Cindy what happened after the air tests came back because they started acting different after that.

I can’t believe how the mother, grandparents and uncle of a child who has been missing for three months and believed dead never shed a tear. They speak as if Caylee is away on vacation.

I almost fell over laughing when Baez said on 20/20, this is a normal family in a crazy situation.

Believe me the Anthonys are not normal. A normal family cries when their child and grandchild are missing. A normal family does everything they can to find a missing child. A normal family doesn’t protect their child when they know she murdered their grandchild.

I still agree with my parents on this one. The authorities on behalf of the town/state of florida should file a suit against them after this is concluded. They deserve to lose everything because of this their home included. To have that knowledge, or to even know that your daughter has it is preposterous! My father and mother would be in my face grilling me in the kitchen and I would be too afraid to move for fear of getting knocked on my ass by my dad. Fess up and tell your parents. You know I thought when I became a grandparent, I would worry less about my kids, I learned there were just more people to love and worry about. When I would tend my grandkids as babies, I was way more careful than raising my own, because I felt more responsibility towards it and could not imagine hurting my kids that way. Having lost three kids, the pain is horrendous. I can understand the the Anthony’s don’t want to face that pain, but I feel certain they are going to have to and maybe know that their daughter caused it.

I think we’d all love to believe that Caylee is alive but the evidence says otherwise.

Bojo, if Caylee is alive, whose dead body was in the trunk? Four people and two cadaver dogs who smelled the odor of a decomposed body and FBI lab scientific tests can’t be wrong.

The decomposing body, DNA tests, a child missing, a mother who won’t talk to the police or anyone else, who doesn’t seem to care if her child is dead or alive and an entire family trying to cover it up adds up to the fact that Caylee is dead.

You know it and the whole world knows it. Are you sure you aren’t related to the Anthonys and trying to raise reasonable doubt so a murderer can walk free?

I agree with all you said except that her parents threw her out. Casey used Caylee as a pawn to keep her parents hopping. They adored Caylee, have said she was their whole life. (I’m sure, as Casey once was.)

I think Casey was enraged at being caught, and possibly Cindy throwing up to her all her recent lies and thefts, making Cindy have to go bankrupt and cash into 401K–I think Cindy unleashed months of fury on Casey on Father’s Day after finding out from her(Cindy’s) mom that Casey ahd stolen from Cindy’s mom also. Neighbors said there was a heated argument at the Anthony’s that day. I think Casey was so enraged at

I don’t think Cindy would have kicked Casey out knowing she would take Caylee from the home to God knows where. On the contrary, she probably begged her not to take Caylee. I think Casey decided that she was going to shut Cindy up once and for all and spent Father’s day night putting her plan into motion.

Cindy Anthony, herself a nurse and married to a homicide detective was the FIRST person to say there was a smell of a dead body in the trunk of her car.

People say “that smells like something died, or “that smells like a dead rat” , cat, dog, etc.

I am so afraid of them not finding her remains and Casey basically getting away with this. Caylee is presumed dead almost three months now. Time is sure not on our side, but we here of bodies being found and identified much later, sure hope that is the case here. In most cases I would think at least the person has to live with what they did, I don’t think it would bother her in the least. She is a poor excuse for a human being.

I got home from the search about an hour ago and I have been pondering what to post on here. I want to say something without saying too much, if you know what I mean. I’ve rewritten this several times to try to get it right.

It was very hot today, but no different than any other Florida summer day. We were encouraged to drink a lot of water. Our ATV driver had a cooler with him that was fully stocked.

The ground has dried significantly. We didn’t encounter any substantial water today in any of my searches (other than ponds, lakes, etc). Yesterday was pretty much the same. Some muddy areas, but nothing major. There were areas with standing water that most likely had been dry in the past, but we’re not talking about 3 feet of water…nothing that major. Are there swamps to deal with? Yes, but that will always be the case in Florida. I’m not saying that the conditions I had were the same for other searchers, but that was my experience yesterday and today.

Today’s search was eventful and productive. After leaving command center, I returned to my search location and it was blocked off with police tape. I will be watching the news closely over the next few days.

That’s really all I can say. I would love to go into more details, but I just can’t. I’m not trying to be mysterious and cryptic, but I would hate to jeopardize the investigation in any way.

Since Tim has said that the search was called off for environmental reasons, I guess we just have to take that at face value and trust that Tim knows what he is doing. I’ve only met him today and he seems like a top-notch guy.

Concerned about Caylee said:

Can you imagine the power struggle going on in that house since Caylee’s birth? Cindy and Caylee going head-to-head day in and day out, both with controlling personalities? They both take a lie to the very end of the earth. And neither of them GET TIRED OF IT!

Other people who go through something as traumatic as losing a child and grandchild are overwhelmed with grief after 3 months of not knowing where their loved one is. Some can’t get through a month without it physically wearing them down.
But Cindy and Casey seem to thrive on all the attention THEY get from Caylee missing. And I think it gives them new strength to fabricate even more lies.

This may seem like a dumb question but during the 1st jail house meeting why did Casey keep asking for tony’s number? I thought that was strange I mean every girl knows her man’s digit’s.Did I miss something as far as Tony’s number goes?

Wonder where Casey was going during the day to need a babysitter for Caylee. She probably just did not want to be a mom…

She only met Tony first time May 24. And first dates were June 6, 13, 20. But she moved in with him sometime on or after June 16 up until she was found by Cindy on July 15.

I’m not sure of the sequence of these events, but I keep thinking of things that happened: Casey and Caylee move from parents home, Casey steals gasoline from parents’ home, Casey borrows shovel from neighbor.

I think she murdered her daughter, and burned her body, and buried the ashes. Is it possible to find ashes?

But she asked for Tony’s number the day she was arrested. She was at Tony’s house that very day when Cindy went with Amy and found her there. She had to leave with a raving, demanding Cindy without explaining to surprised Tony what was going down.

She was probably wanting to call him to tell him whatever lie she had thought up for the reason she was in jail and to make sure he was going to stand by her.

Or—he may have known something, as some suspect, and she wanted to give him a heads-up.

Elizabeth, although Casey could have tried to burn Caylee’s body, she could not burn the body down to ashes. Only a crematorium has a furnace hot enough to burn a corpse to ashes.

Danna, I think Cindy was panic stricken after she picked up the car and just wanted to find Casey and Caylee and make sure they were okay. Even with that death smell in the car, I’m sure she didn’t immediately think the worst because she kept in touch with Casey by cell phone even thought she didn’t know where they were living.

The DNA in the trunk of Casey’s trunk blows the theory of Casey selling Caylee. That sweet little baby is dead.

However, I would not put it pass Casey to knock Caylee out with chloroform, and have some pervert do horrible things to Caylee, and Casey could pick up some quick cash. It may have went to far with the chloroform and Caylee was given to much and she died. Casey then put Caylee in her car, and took her back to her parents home, so she could figure out how to rid of Caylee’s body.

At the time of the 911 call, she didn’t know who had left the car at Amscot. She had no details, just that Caylee was missing a month and the trunk smell. I do think she suspected the very worst.

I thiink the police are waiting for everything to come back from the testing labs, and then they are going to charge Casey with the homicide of Caylee. They don’t need a body to get a conviction. If she is convicted, and given the death penalty the police would probably convert the sentence to life with no parole if she tells them where Caylee is buried. I just pray that Equusearch finds Caylee and she is laid to rest. My heart breaks for that baby.

danna, yes she probably did fear that harm had come to both of them. The car had Casey’s purse and keys in it when found.

But we only know of one call Cindy made after that–it was to Amy, Casey’s friend. Amy accounted for Casey immediately, Cindy went and picked Amy up, and Amy told her how to get to Tony’s house where Casey was.

Cindy probably wanted to verify with Amy whether it was necessary to call 911 and report ANYTHING–if Casey was accessible, then she assumed Caylee was too.

Cindy probably didn’t know what to do. A lot of things happened pretty fast that day.

I pulled up that photo of Casey being released from jail and it’s purely disgusting to see her smiling under that baseball cap. This woman is happy with all the attention she’s getting. I’m sure she would commit this heinous act all over again because she thinks it’s worth her being the center of attention. Something she’s always craved. Caylee, evidently meant NOTHING to her. I look back at pictures of her with Caylee and Casey always looks like she has a false smile on her face. This monster has to go down with murder one.

I do think they might move the trial to a different county. They may feel she would not get a fair trial in Orange County.

I have never laid eyes on Caylee Marie Anthony, but the Greta home interview with Cindy broke my heart. All the pictures of baby Caylee on the wall and her toys and bed, especially the Elmo doll collection, brought tears.

I can’t imagine seeing these things daily, her little clothes, her sippy cups, and still ahving the strength to go outside and fued with protestors and be on TV shows every other day composed.

Therapist, she hasn’t even been charged yet, and just think how many more years this will go on if/when she is charged, tried, convicted, imprisoned, and appealing all the way to the supreme court.

I’m hoping that once they charge Casey with murder there will be no bond and she will sit in jail until the trial.

How quickly she goes to trial after that will depend on the defense team and how long it takes them to get their strategy in place. The prosecution will be ready with all their evidence but the defense will have a hard road ahead of them because of all the lies Casey told. But, mark my words… you will hear things coming from the defense team that will want to make you vomit.

Therapist, Yes, ONCE have I seen Cindy cry. It was at the court hearing when she testified. When she walked up to testify, she looked at Casey who had turned to look at Cindy and she broke down then. She sat down and told the court she was sorry to break down, but that was the first time she had seen Casey in person since her arrest.

She cried for Casey. Talking about Caylee, she was stoic.

If we are privy to the court proceedings, I am sure we will be furious with the defense and want to vomit also. They will pull out all the stops and play as dirty as they dare,implicating others, bringing in the lifestyles, secrets, and any ugly thing about a prosecution witness that they can dig up. (especially forensics experts)

But I believe the prosecution has enough timeline and evidence to refute whatever the defense tries to sling.

Still, it will not be fun wating day after day for justice while hearing trash slung all over the courtroom.

I’ve always heard that juries have a difficult time with understanding scientific evidence. Thus, the smarter the jury the better.

When looking at the remote area, I can’t even fathom how in the world they can find anything let alone a little tiny, decomposed body. I’m worried now that they will never find her.

I have been following this each and every day and believe that precious Caylee was burned and dumped into a large body of water, never to be found or surface again, much the same as Duncan admitted doing with dear little Dylan. After Duncan burned Dylan all day and night over a fire pit, Dylan’s sister Shasta helped Duncan haul Dylan’s ashes and dispose of his ashes in the river.

As for poor Dylan, yes another sad story and I am so close to where this all happened with Dylan’s mother, her boyfriend and Dylans older brother all being killed. I live maybe a half hour or so from there by car..
But at least Duncan admits his guilt and is ready to die for his evil crimes.

I was a little concerned about the FBI profiler on 20/20 saying that maybe the police haven’t charged her with murder because they can’t put her in that car. I think they can still charge her with at least negligent homicide. I don’t know what the sentence is for negligent homicide.

She was responsible for her toddler. Even if one jury member believed Casey’s story that kidnappers overpowered her in the park and stole Caylee and took the car and killed her, she was still responsible for the death by not reporting the kidnapping immediately. Fear that they would hurt her family is no excuse. Her child should come first.

I’m not concerned about a juror believing her bogus story because she is a pathological liar and lied about everything.

I am concerned about one or more jurors believing it was an accident, since many bloggers don’t believe she deliberately killed the child. I hope the state charges her with first degree murder if the state of Florida gives the jury the option to find her guilty of second degree or felony homicide. I’d hate to see a hung jury.

I’d hate to see her get away with a lesser charge if she did plan to kill her child with chloroform and killed her deliberately to get back at her mother. I’m sure that’s what the state will argue.

Having a body that shows how and when she died would help but the state may never get that.

I don’t mind waiting as long as it takes for investigators to follow all leads, get all forensics and dot all the “i’s” and cross the “t’s” as people have said. Just as long as they have the very best case possible for the most serious charges they can bring.
I do worry a little that LE might try too hard and bring more serious charges against her than they can prove. Then she’ll get off.

I’ve also been thinking that they may not want to actually take her to court on the child neglect charges before charging her with some form of murder or connection to the death. The reason might be that to prove her responsibility in a death they would have to use evidence of neglect - and if neglect has already been prosecuted then all that evidence could be deemed in admissable (because she’d already been convicted of it and can’t be “tried” again on that). I could be totally off-base about that. I’m certainly not an expert. Only wondering.

Thank you Concerned about Caylee. I was a little worried that they might not have enough for more charges by November. (Is that when the 100+ days are up when they have to do something about the current charges?) Also I guess they could prosecute on the economic crimes any time they want to. And hope to get her in the slammer for those for a while.

Since searchers have taken a break from searching, we won’t be getting any more information from them on the scene down there.
We have to rely on the news reports only until the searchers go back. I’m thinking the election and weather will crowd out news on the Casey Anthony case in coming weeks.

Like soooo…. many others I have watched this tragic story unfold into almost a circus like atmosphere, I’m wondering if the posibility exists if may be everyone knew about caylee, right from the beginning,and sent Casey away, so neighbors, friends and family wouldnt ask questions as to where little Caylee was and it was actully George who disposed of the body and thats why Casey can actually say without a doubt she does’nt know where she is, Iam also wondering if the posibility exist they diposed of her in another part of the state or perhaps drove to another state to dispose of the body thats why she isnt talking because she knows they will never find the body. First of all if the monster went to Jesse’s at the end of June to take a shower that would fit perfectly in to the time line. Most likely the monster killed Caylee on June 16th and kept her in the trunk until the day she abandoned her car. I’m sure that being in the swamp area and carrying Caylee would have made the monster sweaty and dirty. I wonder if the car was left at a walking distance from Jesse’s home. Where she could have walked to Jesse’s, taken a shower and met Tony back at the car. (Refresh my memory please… it was Tony who picked her up at the car wasn’t it?)
I never thought about the police maybe not being able to place Casey as the last person in her car. At first I was thinking good old fashion finger prints on the steering wheel, forgetting that George drove the car home from the tow yard. Darn… that does seem to be a problem for the prosecutor. If they find Caylee it will give them so much more evidence, especially if she is wrapped in a rug. I’m sure they do have fibers from the car to match up with some type of wrap.
Because of the monster’s demeanor I always thought it was premeditated murder. Her lack of remorse or concern, for Caylee, spoke volumes to me. Even the most horrible mother out there would have feelings of sadness, despair and worry over their child, even if for some bizarre reason they panicked and covered up their child’s accidental death. (Believe me I can’t fathom a cover-up for any death but I’m just trying to get my point across) Yes, sadly it will be difficult to convince a jury that it was not an accident unless they have Caylee’s body. But, one thing I am sure of, this horrible monster may not spend life in prison, as we would like to see, for this atrocious crime she committed. But, she will spend many, many years, if not her entire youth behind bars.
My God, how Caylee has taken a hold of our hearts and how this case has taken on a life of its own. We can’t seem to let go of either because we are so desperately searching for justice for Caylee.

The word…”began?” It’s just a little unimportant point, but clearly states that when Caylee came, THAT is the point when Casey began acting out. The story is so clear in Cindy’s blog. Casey’s jealousy…Casey using Caylee against her mother. Casey finally removing Caylee from her mother in a fit of rage after being confronted for stealing “lots of money.” Cindy’s constant turmoil with Casey ever since Caylee was born…there in that blog lies the whole story.

Thankyou. I just so badly want the truth to come out. I don’t want them to get away with it like OJ did. I still know that OJ will be facing his after this life though. But in a civilized society, it matters if people get away with harming others. Some people seem to just want to accept any old excuse for it and give them the benefit of the doubt, and have empathy for the bully while the victims have no voice at all.

I hate being lied to, especially when the liar blames the person they are lying to for the crime they themselves committed. I wonder how long until they start blaming Caylee for this.

I hate watching them blame others for what they have done. I hate watching them accuse people of not looking for Caylee, while they provide absolutely nothing of substance with which to look for her, and even don’t go look for her themselves. And worse, they have claimed to “know” things, but expect us to believe that they are somehow PROTECTING Caylee by not revealing it. Is Caylee really safer this way? How did Casey get away with it for so long? Who watched Caylee while Casey pretended to drop her at the babysitter’s house???

I hate Jose worst of all…his stupid “compelling reasons” why she can’t even give a flippin description of the “nanny zanny,” let alone a phone number or address. I watch him put his “loving” arm around her and I want to puke. Does he want to legalize child murder because sometimes a loving mother just need a way out? And that doesn’t make her a bad person, she still needs love, right Jose’? And as long as she has a “compelling reason,” to lie and not do what’s best for her children, including reporting them missing when they “disappear” everything will be alright…right?

I remember reading early on that George had been with a Sheriff’s Dept in the midwest but I never saw any report - a credible report - that he’d been a homicide detective. Is that true or an embellishment that has occurred along the way?

Gumshoe, I am also a little concerned that news will fade away and/or be pushed out by politics etc. My only hope is that the people in Orange County won’t allow that and the local news folks will fill in. That’s one reason I keep checking those local news web sites.
And given some of the unexpected surprises this case has had (in jail, bailed out, new charges, in jail, bailed out again, etc)

Also, doesn’t make sense that a mere 2 days after deciding to stay, Tim leaves? Especially when the conditions haven’t changed (or if so, they got a bit better?) And esp since he knows his schedule and can’t return for a month?!?

This leads to believe 1 of 2 things happened (but I’d love to hear others’ ideas):

Either
1) The Anthony’s newfound powerful backers who gave them $$$$ for entertainment rights are POWERFUL enough to put pressure on TES and anyone else searching.

OR

2) Maybe they found a body on Sunday. If so, it’s understandable that they’d want to do testing prior to releasing news. I believe searchers or anyone else “in the know” would be able to keep it secret, if they were motivated by the fact that it would hurt the case if they let the info leak.

It just doesn’t make sense that TES left bc of conditions. But if his org were threatened by lawsuits bc family doesn’t want the search, I could understand him wanting to protect the org.

Orlandosentinal.com has a story right now that monster was driven to the jail early this afternoon by her dad and brother for the required visit with the home confinement manager. There is a photo of Lee escorting her out. The report says there were body guards too. She’s being allowed six hours a day with her lawyer! LOL! Either they’ll need that much time to cook up a defense or she really needs to get out of the house!!!!! Or maybe she’s meeting with the new hired public relations people who are no doubt working very hard on ways to try to make her look human.

mandi, it was the first night casey”came back home without caylee, and cindy called police i think they just question caseys at that time, cindy said she laid down for awhile at 7:00am since casey was not there,she came home around 10:00 that morning and that is when they got on the computer for hours by cindy”s statement.I don”t think they had arrested casey at that time, go take a look at that first bond hearing and cindy”s statements.

Don’t forget about time she’s allowed to go to church, but DID NOT GO yesterday or even when she was out before…so why does she keep requesting it????? There are so many interesting theories and ideas on here, but I’m a steadfast believer in facts. I need to see fact and evidence before I can start connecting the dots and come up with theories. There is no compelling reason for a mother not to report her child missing. The reason your client didn’t report her child missing was that she killed her and wanted to forget she ever existed.

There is no compelling reason why a mother would not even be interested in searching for her two year old.

If you try to sell your client’s ridiculous story that the babysitter and her sister stole Caylee, telling me not to tell because they’d harm my family but they are keeping Caylee alive and healthy and will send her home soon the jury will laugh you out of the courtroom.

So end this now. Tell your client to plead guilty to the murder of her daughter and tell the prosecutors where the body is and maybe they won’t give your client the lethal injection.

The daughter who stole money, lots of money, leaves without warning and does not let her mother now speak to the baby that her mother raised, fed, clothed, sheltered, paid her medical bills, etc. Instead tells her friends that her mother is controlling her life and she needs her space. No money, no future. Where did she go? Who is now watching out for the little angel?

Amy… thanks for posting all that information. Although I heard about the June 15th fight, I never heard the part about the counselor. I wonder if it was a relative who divulged that information. I’m sure Casey knew what Cindy was going to do because we all know that Cindy can’t keep her mouth shut. If she didn’t tell Casey directly, I’m sure Cindy told relatives who leaked it back to Casey.

I believe what you wrote, Amy, about Cindy possibly seeking custody. I think if I remember correctly that Cindy mentioned custody to Monster during one of the 911 calls in a tone that made me think it had come up before. But you know it would have been a waste of time for Cindy to try to get custody.

The courts just don’t take kids away from their mothers without close to immediate threat to the child’s life. And even then it’s rare with the kind of proof that would be required.
What’s Cindy supposed to say?
Cindy: “My daughter stole money from her grandparents.” Judge: “So?”
Cindy: “My daughter stole our car.” Judge: “So?”
Cindy: “My daughter is a lying sociopath.”
Judge: “So?”
Cindy: “My daughter parties all the time.” Judge: “So?”
Cindy: “My daughter may be/is taking drugs.” Judge: “So? Is she on drugs this minute or in possession?”
And even if Cindy knew that she didn’t have a job - which she may not have known - unemployment is not enough of a reason to take custody away from a mother either. And keeping a child away from his/her grandparents is also not illegal.
So Cindy was really out of luck I think.
Monster mom could have disappeared for a year and Cindy would have had trouble getting the cops to look for her - a 22 year old adult. And even if she said she thought the child might be in danger we already heard from all Monster’s friends who thought she seemed like a great mother. So the police would not have worried then either. So Cindy was really out of luck. The really sick part is that Monster took Caylee with her to spite and hurt her mother and/or to prove what a great mother she could be on her own. Succeeded in the first case and failed tragically in the second case.

What raises a red flag in my mind is that I think I may have read that she was starting to experiment with more potent drugs other than mary-jane and is known to be irresponsible financially. All the reports were yelling “Casey”, “Casey, what happened to your daughter.” “Casey” They must have said her name a hundred times in her short walk to the car. She was LOVIN it! I’m sure that’s what made her smile. She was probably thinking ‘Everybody knows my name… WOW!’

Hey guys…Wanted to blog tonight with you guys but I am having a bit of a problem with my Norton virus software….Keep getting a pop up box every two second telling me to use live updates but when I do it will not connect to get them. I have the settings on the norton correct but I am having no luck making this pop up box go away. I am almost ready to disable it but I’m not sure how to do it. Anyone know anything about this type of problem? I am frustrated because my fiance’ left to go out of town for business today, and I think this he did something to cause it as a nasty little joke on me. He can be this way sometimes if he feels I am spending too much time talking about these cases. I think it’s just plain mean and vindictive and I want to show him that I will find a way to get around it. Just saw the video of George Anthony pushng the protesters off the side walk. One of them is a 65 yearmold woman. Total of three people filed charges against him. UNREAL!

Why won’t the Anthony’s give Equusearch some items that have Caylee’s scent on them to assist them with the search for Caylee. I don’t get these people!

because the woman George pushed is 65 or older, he can be charged with 3rd degree felony battery (or assault) on a person 65 or older PLUS the regular 3rd degree battery (or assault) PLUS since he had a hammer in his hand, if the woman was afraid for her safety, he can be charged with assault with a deadly weapon.

Only Padilla has let out the “new story with a script” as far as I know. No one else has told it as truth but him. Not saying I don’t believe him, rather that no one else has confirmed or denied it.

I am not in the state of FL. If FL law is the same as my state, There will be a hearing for George to go to, to answer the charges and plead guilty or not guilty. If he sucks it up and pleads guilty, he will be fined and pay court costs. He may have a restraining order placed against him concerning the woman and her family. He may also be ordered to attend anger management classes. (which he would pay around $25-$50 per class)

If he pleads not guilty, he may have a trial to attend. (and lawyer fees & court costs, etc)Wouldn’t that be a hoot?

I think law enforcement and the prosecutor do not want this case to go the way of the OJ trial,hence they are taking their time to get all their ducks in a row for an an airtight case.

I have read this blog for days now and my feelings are that Cindy, George and Lee were not involved in hurting Caylee and I am not sure about them involved in a coverup. I do believe that Cindy was frantic with worry about Caylee in the beginning, but as always, Casey has fed her enough BS that she believes her daughter. And, of course, we all would WANT to believe any story that makes it sound like our precious granddaughter (whom it appears George and Cindy raised and took care of) was alive and taken by anyone other than our own daughter! Blinded, yes, they are but because they want to be, wouldn’t you?? If they were sitting where we are, they’d feel the same way we do, that Casey IS involved in her death, accidental or otherwise. As everyone else involved in this case, I hope Caylee is found quickly.

i have been flipping from this story to the madeline mccann story (research for my daughter, i know she should be doing this, but i am now caught up in this story) and the two story’s seem very close.

i have wondered if this mother took bit’s of this story to use in her own. was george (father) some type of police officer? could they be getting advise on how george investigated his cases, i mean what worked and what didn’t work on his cases.

I broke down in tears when on Nancy Grace I heard one protester yelling at George and Cindy, “You are grandparents. Don’t you care about Caylee. George and Cindy stone faced kept hammering in the yellow tape around their home to keep the protesters out.

It seems like everybody in the world wants to find Caylee but her family. I don’t understand how the Anthonys can remain so emotionless over the loss of their granddaughter. I’d be in tears all the time wondering what happened to her. I’d rather find a body than go on wondering.

I was just thinking that Casey must have gone crazy in solitary confinement in prison unless she talked to herself or flirted with the guards.

She seems to be a compulsive talker, partier, drinker and obsessive about men. We know she had four lovers in the 30 days between the time Caylee was last seen and the car was found and Cindy called 911. Dr. Bethany on Nancy Grace called her boy crazy and said she probably made up the story about Zenaida and her sister Samantha kidnapping Caylee to impress Robert Dick.

Now Padilla claimed on Fox that Casey told him the same story about Zenaida and Samantha snatching Caylee in Blanchard park and giving her a script.

Nancy Grace, Padilla, Dick, Dr. Bethany and even the defense attorneys thought her story was ridiculous. It sounds infantile to me. A three year old could have made that up.

First time on this blog….I have been reading it for days now. Here are my thoughts….If Casey couldn’t afford gas for her car, it’s doubtful that she could afford a nanny. So, perhaps she gave her daughter a little chloraform and left her in the trunk of the car so she could compete in the ‘hot body’ contest. The monster (which is a perfect name) left her daughter a bit too long in the trunk with the chloraform; after her pole dancing she found out her daughter had died. She couldn’t report that her daughter accidentally died in the trunk while monster was being her floozy best on the pole. This started the whole need to cover-up. Nothing as tragic as a swimming pool accident, which she surely would have called 911.

It’s all so sad and I want that poor girl to be found. It’s heart wrenching to think she’s been abandoned out there somewhere.

Jay Blanchard Park is a YMCA area. I find it hard to believe that nobody else was at that park except monster, Caylee, Zenaida, Samantha, and Samantha’s chidren. I too believe that Casey was trying to get back at Cindy, especially, if the monster somehow got wind of the fact that Cindy was going to file for legal custody of Caylee. But, I also think that the monster never ever really bonded with Caylee. Look closely at photos of Casey with Caylee, it always looks like Casey has a forced, false smile.

I agree with you 100%. I think in a fit of rage Cindy told monster she was going to take Caylee away from her. Monster freaked out and did the unthinkable. I see what you see when I look at the pictures. When you listen to some of monsters comments you clearly see it’s all about her.

I can’t figure out what she used the gas for. I fear the worst. I figure she grew up hearing stories from her dad of stupid things people did that gave away their crime. So she knew what not to do when disposing of a body. I hope I’m wrong though.

Catherine, I said I was concerned a jury member might believe the story. I didn’t say I did. That’s why I am concerned about what people on the blog say.

We represent what a jury might believe. If one jury member doesn’t want to believe a mother can murder her child or that a child can be dead, they can fall for any story the defense brings up: the babysitter kidnapped her, she is alive and well in Puerto Rico, etc. etc. And she can walk.

I want her to be punished for what she did. She won’t be punished if one jury member has reasonable doubt that Caylee is dead or Casey murdered her.

That’s why I think it is important to not believe a word Casey says no matter what she comes up with because she is a pathological liar.

I don’t want to argue with you, I don’t believe the Zeniaida 30 day script story monster told BH. As a matter of fact I don’t believe anything that has come out of that monster’s mouth since day one. I think she murdered Caylee because she was jealous of her, and she wanted to punish her mother because her mother loved Caylee more than her.
After she left her parents home she realized she was not capable of taking care of Caylee so she murdered her.

Concerned about Caylee, it’s so hard to watch the monster gloating in all this attention. I think she feels that she will get away with her despicable act.

I do feel bad for the neighbors but I totally understand how frustrated people can get, especially those of us who lived through the OJ trial and saw a guilty person walk away smiling, as we sat with our SHOCKED faces hanging out. I think that’s forever embedded in our brain and we fear that happening again.

this is NOT a typical siuation
this is NOT a typical family

and,

we are thinking on our typical terms
of human nature..

That is why this is so complex and takes trained educated people to figure out.

The police do not let the paparatzi hang out in front of celebrities houses so they should not let the media and angry protesters hang out in front of the Anthony home.

Catherine, you’d asked me if I thought deep down Cindy loved Casey. I really can’t answer that.

I believe the Anthonys are a dysfunctional family but I also believe Casey is a sociopath and she can’t bond with anyone and no amount of love Cindy gave her would make a difference.

Sociopaths are born not made, according to Dr. Bethany on Nancy Grace.

It wouldn’t surprise me if one morning we read that all four Anthonys were dead and George shot all of them and then himself. He is smart. He could have a gun hidden in the attic.

I think George is the one with the deepest feelings for Caylee and the most violent. He had such tenderness in his voice when he talked about his granddaughter on 20/20 that I think he may snap if he finally realizes she is dead and his daughter murdered her.

How long was it between the last call before the 8 minute long airport area cell phone pings and between the last of those and a call in another area? That’s a little closer to how long she had to carry, dig, drop or whatever. She made that string of calls either before or after she hid the body.

And what mother whose child has been gone for nearly two months - who “doesn’t know where her child is” - calmly states that she’s “sure her child is fine and will be coming home soon?” No mother could be sure of that and most would be worried sick. Moms worry when kids go off to daycare and to camp for pete’s sake! Baez really isn’t doing his client any favors spouting stuff like that!

Someone late last night asked if I was near Orlando and no, I am not. I just don’t feel the protesters are doing any good, at all. They complain that C & G don’t love their granddaughter and they do, it is evident by the home movies, the photos they always had in their house, how they dressed that little girl and how Cindy reacted when she finally saw Casey without Caylee and got the first real inkling of Caylee being gone - for a whole month no less! Just because they are stoic now does not mean they have no feelings. George is more volatile, Cindy is staying in check which one has to do when their partner can be hot-headed. Do not write into their calmness at this point, they do have to remain strong, good god, look at what they have camped outside their front doors day in and day out. I still say that, as parents, they WANT BADLY to believe Cindy’s stories because the truth (or fear of knowing the truth for sure) is horrible for them. They do love their grandchild, no doubt.

If at this point, C&G have come to learn about their daughter’s involvement, then they are going with her attorney’s advice on ways to promote other theories. It is frustrating that Casey nor her attorney is on the news talking about their casep; but it is in their best interest NOT to expose themselves to the media for questioning and scrutiny.

What I’m trying to say is that some of us understand the Anthonys’ denial but want to shake them out of it for Caylee’s sake.

If Monster was to “spill the beans” to anyone it would be Lee not her parents. She told him first that Caylee was “missing” the first night. I was holding out hope that he’d stand up for his helpless niece by getting monster to tell him the truth and then reporting it to the cops but now I have my doubts.

I thought that I read a report that George had gone back to work a little while ago. But his career in security could end pretty quickly with the recent assault charges.

I finally found a photo or still of the high five between Monster and brother. It’s on wesh.com under video about her leaving home confinement for meeting. Scroll down that home page and look on the left for video stories. However the video never plays for me. Only that still photo flashes briefly - sometimes. But I’m glad to see that photo exists. Wish it would get more publicity.

I guess that’s what frustrates us so much. We don’t know if they really believe the monster or if they know the truth and are just trying to support her. Either way it’s wrong.

I do feel sorry for the neighbors with all the protesters, however, I don’t feel sorry for the Anthony’s because they are the ones who bailed her out this time. All was quiet in their neighborhood until they brought the monster home again.

There is no doubt in my mind that George,Cindy and Lee love Caylee. My God, I would never take that away from them.

I believe everything you are saying with a little variation. I think our hope for the monster to be put in to the general population in prison will not happen, due to this being a high profile case.

When you said “they are not normal people” I’m not sure what “normal” really is anymore. Maybe they just have this narcissistic, pathological daughter and never knew how to handle her. Most of us can raise a average child with little effort, we simply provide a whole lot of love and a whole lot of discipline. But, not being challenged with a child like that, I don’t know what to say. Daily, my thoughts on the Anthony family sways from one end of the spectrum to the other.

Also, I think in order for the prosecution to be able to charge the monster with the highest offense and a life sentence, they will need a body. Otherwise she may get a lighter sentence.

pammyliz, they arrested Scott Peterson the day the body washed up. In fact, although law enforcement had a lot of evidence, they didn’t feel they had an airtight case until the bodies washed ashore. That’s when they finally arrested that ugly jerk.

Innocent until proven guilty is what happens in court. Casey is NOT innocent, the evidence already proves she is guilty. They just have to do the paperwork in court.

Just because OJ wasn’t PROVEN guilty, does not make him “innocent.” Casey is not innocent. At the very least, she is a PROVEN liar and a PROVEN cold-hearted thief who steals from her aged grandparents. She has PROVEN to have waited over 30 days to report her daughter missing to anyone. Has anyone noticed how her story about how her reason for lying to the police about working at Universal so she could look for Zanny there does not add up to her new story? Also that she told the exact same lie to her parents about working for Universal too, but that went on for over a year, so did she lie to her parents about working there for the same reason? This monster is not even a good liar.

One last thing..that comment by Cindy about Casey being “the mother of the year.” Really Cindy? What “mother of the year” extorts money from friends and loved ones, ESPECIALLY elderly grandparents!!!!?

Kit kat, before public opinion turned against them the family did not “go out” looking for the child. Primarily because they have never and do not now believe she is dead (or will not admit it). They maintain that she was kidnapped and everyone should be looking high and low for a live child and the police and everyone else (not them) should be following up on tips that apparently only Cindy gets. They would never participate in a ground search that is obviously looking for a child’s remains and lambasted EquuSearch and everyone else who did! And remember, when Monster was first put in jail, she and her mother maintained that she could not talk while she was in jail. So Padilla bailed her out - ready to go hunt down Zenaida and the child. But Monster - now out of jail - still would not talk or give him or anyone any more idea where to look.

Has anyone confirmed that George was a detective let alone a homicide detective? There’s a big difference between that and other cop jobs.

Re: Writing to Baez. I wouldn’t want to appear to be interfering with Monster’s right to counsel or a fair trial so what I would say is:
“Mr. Baez, are you aware of how your six-hour a day, five-day a week sessions with your client may be interpreted? Your client does have a very promiscuous reputation, remember? Surely there is another way without risking the appearance of impropriety.”
That’s not exactly what how I’d like to say it but it’s the safest anyway.

I think this puppy is going to trial and she’ll get a similar judgement like Scott Peterson. The cases are very similar, living close to where that story took place, I followed it fairly closely. She’ll get 99 years to life.

There ought to be a law that a person cannot spend 30 hours per week with their defense attorney when they are on home confinement. Give me a break!!!! Is Jose doing this for free? At $200 per hour, that’s $6000 per week he is donating. She is cheating the system…AGAIN…obviously USING her attorney to GET AROUND the law….and out of helping people look for her daughter, that OOPS, she said she could help find if she was let out.

I think the six hours visits to Baez have to do with monster compulsion to talk a lot(except about Caylee, hint Dick story). Padilla probably got the new park story from Dick. Afterall he was an employee of Padilla, I believe. Also wonder if from now on, monster will be driven around by a family member and not alone anymore with a young male bodyguard.
If monster murdered Caylee, it is quite possible that her parents would be next. That getting the house thingy is very omnious.
I also think that she had her parents fooled for along time, with having a job at Universal.Afterall she fooled all her friends too with that story. And generally friends of same age group are more familiar with her life than parents are, based on my experience.

In my state we have dumpster divers. They go through peoples trash collecting cans, bottles, unused food, and personal information.

For your protection please shred anything with your personal information on it before you through it in the trash.

I forgot to add that as long as my trash cans are placed in the street on trash pick up day they’re open game for anyone. If you don’t want anyone to go through your trash then don’t put it out the night before. Put your trash cans in the street right before the scheduled pick up time.

The term “Tweekers” is used in California to define people who do crack or crystal meth.

local6.com has an article right now about a newborn baby found under a bush in Miami after a 19 year old woman went to a hospital bleeding heavily but denying giving birth. The doctors alerted police to be on the look out for a newborn and bless them the police found her but she’s in serious condition.

I saw a news report on TV recently about a baby found in California I believe in the middle of the night crawling along a deserted sidewalk in the dark in a bad part of town. Fortunately a car going by saw the baby and called police.

There’s also the father who drowned his 3 children in a tub and a mother who killed her four children and another mother just convicted of killing her baby (details too gross). All recent events.

I apologize but I post news like this because we’ve talked about ourselves and many others in the general public having so much difficulty believing that parents can harm let alone kill their own children. And I sure don’t want to see a jury of naive people thinking “no mother could do that” because it happens and and it happens more often than we realize!

I’m not so sure that all the Anthonys’ friends have deserted them. There were at least three women I saw on their property the day George pushed the old lady. And I’ve seen Cindy walking around outside with her arm on some woman’s shoulder. I’m not absolutely sure they are true friends. Some people are really more like “hangers-on.” Attracted by the drama and willing to milk their relationship with the Anthonys out of curiosity etc.

Yah those ppl who harm children are disgusting to say the least and wether it is here or in the presence of the Lord they will get there judgement one way or the other..wether they believe in God Almighty or not to therer suprise they will meet him and Jesus and be judged for there crime and I rest assured in that in the event the justice system fails these children God will have his say in it all..

The judge in the second more successful case sentenced her on Monday to life behind bars with no chance of parole. Arnold avoided the death penalty last week, when jurors couldn’t make up their minds if the most severe punishment was warranted. It means she will spend the rest of her life in jail and never be eligible for release.

She walked on the death penelty but she’ll die in jail!!! they should make her work the kitchen with the microwave!!! But in prison there all justified…in there own disgusting demented minds!!

If monster can’t be in general population in jail because of safety issues, why can’t her bail be revoked for the same reason.

I think Cindy should have taken custody of Caylee before she threatened to take her away from monster. If this would have happened I think Caylee would still be alive today.

can anyone tell me if caylee was taken by someone and they where trying to get her on a plane and take her someone first she would have to have a passport if out of the country and in the states i think you have to have some form of id for that child. I think she was told to move out of the house and that Cindy was going to try and get custody of Caylee. Cindy’s therapist told her to get custody of Caylee. Cindy should have gotten custody first to protect Caylee.

Monster began to steal money from her grandmothers assisted living fund and from her friend. In addition to borrowing money from other friends.

Because if her mommy or daddy would of just given her the money or not gotten mad over the money or just watched Caylee like they promised when she got knockd up with her Caylee would be her right now..and If Cindy tried to take Caylee she wouldnt have anything to use against Cindy and she wouldnt be allowed to live at home so she would lose everything because of Caylee oooh no over Monsters dead body…no so she killed Caylee…and in her own defense she has made it her parents fault in her sick mind over money or daycare or the price of rice in China shes finds it there fault!! The skeleton(if any) in the family’s closet could be many things. Maybe even financial fraud, like reporting a credit card stolen while they knew monster was using it. Just a dumb example. The amount of time begs the question: Does Casey not feel comfortable being at home for some reason? The jail says Casey Anthony has every right to work on her case with her attorney and her house arrest cannot interfere with that, but several hours every day for a child neglect case?

When Casey left jail the first time, her attorney told Eyewitness News she doesn’t feel comfortable speaking freely at the jail, even though she meets with him in total privacy there, suggesting the jail could be bugged.

Even the pizza could have put in the trunk on purpose to defuse the dead body smell. When you get a pizza and there is some left, you pitch it at the next trashcan or take it home to the frig. Why would you put it in the trunk unless it is a frozen one from the grocery store that you missed when taken the groceries out.

I still think it’s a smoke screen, or red herring for the media. That it might not be what there making it out to be in the media. Perhaps they stumbled onto something and concealed whatever it was to be identified. I would play my cards exactly the same way if I were in charge of the search and not let the media know. Until confirmation, so they would have to give a plausible excuse as to why they’ve stopped searching for the time being.

I also thought that was pretty inventive of that woman protester taking the Anthony’s trash to conduct her own search. I did get a kick out of the fact that she said in the video that there were pages printed they were reading from off a blog on the internet, so they could see what people were saying about them (all found in their trash). So hey guys guess it could be us their taking to reading, better make some good comments in here now that we know their printing us out on paper and viewing just what we think about them.

TES stopped the search temporarily. Timm Miller said the waters had risen in all areas and he was afraid searchers would drive over the body -remains- if the body was under some of the water. He was emotional when saying that he had to postpone the search for a while–and that’s all it is–a postponement. he said they had found remains of missing people after far more time had passed than in Caylee’s case and that they WILL be back.

David Lohr said he really hated to leave the search also and that he would definitely join another search when it is resumed.

The psychics from Ohio, who had come twice to search, ran out of money and also returned home. I don’t know if they have said whether they will return.

I wondered at first if the search had been called off because things found earlier had been tested and proven to be of Caylee’s or that test are being done now on something found–therefore no need for a search to continue.

That’s a possibility, but I think as many times as the Anthonys have “spit in the face of the law” that they would have gone after her by now, if that was the case.

It may take many months more to locate Caylee, but I fully believe she will be found.

I gotta say though, that sometimes the cops don’t think of everything. It took a blogger following this case to go down their and think about evidence in their trash. I don’t understand this business (see wftv.com) about Monster being uncomfortable talking in her home, and before feeling uncomfortable talking in the jail (according to Baez).
It’s obvious she felt comfortable talking to Robert Dick, an investigator and bodyguard for Padilla when she was out on bail the first time! She told him more than she’d told anyone at that point (the Blanchard Park story). So why don’t they get him back and he can drive her around and she can chat her little head off? What a joke!!!

What I don’t like about wftv’s article is the leap to “bugging” being the reason. It would be illegal in jail and inadmissable as evidence or anything else! And even if someone just overheard something it would be rumor - unsubstantiated. So give me a break! Why doesn’t the wftv article speculate that she’s uncomfortable around her family? Which is MUCH more likely!

I think the note writing is probably what the blogger thought about, and decided to look into the trash because of it. I bet you dollars to donuts that when she said on camera that she may come back for the other garbage bags that one of the family came out to retrieve them from the driveway! She should have taken all of them at once…shit I would’ve squeezed all that trash into my little suv even if it meant sitting on one! ORLANDO, Fla. — WESH 2 has learned about offers of more than $1 million for Casey Anthony to tell her story.

A defense fund is also in the process of being established for her.

A spokesman for Jose Baez said offers have come in as high as $1.5 million for book rights, movie rights, TV deals, even a pay-per-view offer.

“I can tell you just for interview areas alone they can range from $50,000 to $350,000. We’ve even had an offer come from an overseas company that specializes in pay per view and those offers can exceed $1 million,” Jose Baez Law Firm spokesman Todd Black said.

Black said they’re listening to all offers but for now not accepting anything.

“We’ve made it clear to everyone that their inquiry will be put in to a file and we don’t know whether that file will ever have to be opened,” Black said.

Much of it, Black said, depends on how extensive Casey Anthony’s defense will have to be.

He said they’re building a Web site for Casey Anthony’s defense fund and assembling a team of defense experts.

People in downtown Orlando had opinions about the possibility of Casey Anthony selling her story to raise money for her defense.

“She has no right to do that. I think she needs to tell people where the little girl is,” one person said.

“She does absolutely deserve the right to a fair trial, but I’m still not 100 percent with it,” another person said.

Black points out these kinds of offers are not unusual for people high-profile cases like this.

The lawyer for Cindy and George Anthony said they are not considering any similar offers.

My oh my, all that for a child neglect /check fraud case. Guess, homicide charges are definitely forthcoming.

I just can’t believe he’d be doing her…My god if that could be proven! He would need his head examined for sure, defending a murerer of an innocent child and doing her all at the same time. It’s just too much to comprehend and digest.
