I was a single mother. My son is now grown and I ran up against the good ole boy system over and over. I was told that although my work was better and customers preferred working with me, they had to pay the men more because they had a family. He never had the best clothes in school. He bought his own car. He now has a six figure income, is a wonderful father. When his father came back into his life after the time to pay child support was past, he had a good relatioship with him and when his dad died, my son paid for his funeral expenses. I have heard nothing but support and admiration from the Republicans. Perhaps Republicans are not the monsters they were portrayed to be? If you can point me to open condemnation from the conservative Bible Belt, I will certainly review it but what I keep seeing is that hypocrisy of the Democratic Party which is why I crossed over.
