I haven’t found that article yet but I did stumble upon one in which Padilla was interviewing with Geraldo. Another fellow was discussing the dead body smell and he said the guy had said it smelled just like a guy who had committed suicide in the trunk of his car…made me think…how does one go about doing that?!!!!

Meanwhile, Cindy Anthony said she’s still fuming over her daughter’s re-arrest on Friday. She refuses to buy into evidence that her granddaughter is dead.

Sheriff’s investigators said the timing of the arrest Friday was not orchestrated. They said these latest economic crime charges are a separate matter from the child neglect case.

With two new felony counts and one misdemeanor, Casey Anthony is now facing to 17 years in prison if convicted of everything.

The 3-year-old’s grandmother, Cindy Anthony, called 911 in June saying she had not seen her granddaughters in several days and her daughter’s car smelled like a dead body.

Cindy Anthony later rescinded her comment, saying the smell was an old pizza and some cleaning fluid.

On Sunday, 150 volunteers came out to help Texas Equusearch, an organization using computer mapping and other high-tech means to try to find some evidence of Caylee Marie Anthony.

“We’ve come across a lot of areas,” said Mandy Albritton with Texas Equusearch. “We’ve ruled out a lot of areas she’s not, so that’s progress.”

Orange County detectives are directing search teams to areas associated with their investigation, like a wooded area near the Amscot where Casey Anthony abandoned her car.

“The information we’ve gotten back from the FBI lab has clearly helped us focus our investigation,” Allen said.

Evidence from a Central Florida body farm showed that an odor emitted from Casey Anthony’s car’s trunk was human decomposition.

A lead investigator in the case told WESH 2’s Bob Kealing that lab results indicated Caylee’s dead body was in the trunk of that car. Sources also confirmed that a stain in the trunk was not what clinched the decision that Caylee was in the trunk, but it was the strands of hair that investigators suspected all along were Caylee’s

We will be here until we bring this community closure, no matter how many trips we have to make,” she said

I think it is illogical for people like Padilla to assume so, first since he is a man, and secondly, because a lot of young pregnant women feel that way…not just Casey.

Also, if in fact the girl is found to be dead, I wouldn’t be so quick to assume it was murder considering the childlike behavior of Casey and her “friends” who like to party and have no children of their own; not knowing what is or isn’t safe to have around small children, not thinking about small children possibly standing behind a vehicle while in reverse, or someone who may totally fall apart if they were the accidental cause of the death of a small child. Remember, Casey and most of her “friends” are in their early twenties.

So, why do they assume they know soooooooo much about each other?

All seems to point in the opposite direction.

However, that doesn’t necessarily mean she is a murderer; I believe that will be her attorney’s main point.

I think Cindy was in the process of getting the truth out of her, yet she made a major mistake…she called 911 and said the car smelled like it had a dead body in it. Then she is angered that the police show up with cadaver dogs…go figure. People behave strangely when they are overly emotional. Apparently, she has been behaving this way for a long time with no regard of what others may think. Apparently Casey has been telling fibs for years as well…that’s how they communicate to each other.

Also, while at home, if Casey had called the police and said, “Come pick me up, and let’s go look for Caylee,” they would have gladly complied. That’s what they’ve wanted all along. She’s refused. She could say it now, and they’d take her out to go search. I think we all know why she won’t.

I truly wish I could believe you. But Cindy has not shown any signs of willingness to force Casey to tell the truth. At least, not since that first day of phone calls to 911.

Can’t figure out where you’re coming from. Do you not think Casey had anything to do with her daughter’s disappearance? Do you not believe Casey’s family is hindering the investigation?

From all we know by now, I do believe Casey is directly responsible for her daughter’s disappearance (and unfortunately, her demise) and believe her parents are covering up her crime.

Regardless of whether or not who told whom to do what, I’m betting if Padilla’s crew left, gawkers didn’t show up, and the media cleared the area, I think the next police call to the property would be the neighbors calling in defense of Casey as I am sure her mother would jump on her and not let go until she told her something!

Can you think of one other reason Casey has not searched for her daughter?

Unfortunately, bad things happen to the good and the bad. Caylee was indeed an innocent among us. It is to Caylee’s benefit to examine all possible avenues in which to find her and not be judgmental of her mother or grandparents.

After watching the news, which is my only source of information, I have to believe they direct their questions in such a way as to steer away from the subject. To your knowledge, has any murder suspect in history ever left the police station on the arm of her attorney and after being questioned by a reporter they broke down and confessed? I don’t know media history, but I’m thinking that’s highly unlikely!

I wouldn’t care what happened to me. I would not even be capable of that consideration. I’d give up my life to find him.

Most parents are the same way.

I firmly believe there is a logical reason that Casey is not searching for Caylee. That reason is that she knows exactly where Caylee is, so she has no reason to search. This idea is backed up with DNA tests, the “air” test, the lies, and on and on.

The friend in Jacksonville admitted that she had admitted to him she had recently started experimenting with drugs….that’s a red flag to me.

This is what it seems to me, from what he said and from what we’ve seen–especially the lies to the authorities and the fact that she has not once searched for her daughter. While on house arrest, I am sure she could have called the police and said, “Come pick me up. Let’s go look for Caylee.” This did not happen.

When asked about the length of time she has known Zenaida she she states, ‘for four years.’ Was it ‘for four years’ or was it ‘for,…for….years!!!’ This may be the lie. The length of time she has known this woman.

But seriously though, we do have some more to go on than the pics/videos we’ve seen. For instance, Tim Miller, probably the most respected man in America (director of Equusearch), said when interviewed that he has spent hours at the house and said of Casey that she walks around smiling but spends most of her time alone in her room on the computer. (my thought at this point–”oh, while the ADULTS are making plans?!?”). She’d come out occasionally and visit briefly, then return to her room.

He said she didn’t mention Caylee (HUH?). And she did not speak to him about finding Caylee (HUH?). When asked if he thought that was strange (since he afterall is in charge of the team searching for Caylee), he said, “Yes, I did wonder about that, but I have to stay focused.”

This is a man who has lost a child. His daughter was kidnapped and murdered. He’s seen a wide variety of responses from parents faced with the possibility of having lost their children.

I think this is quite telling. What parent would not remain by Miller’s side every moment, learning from the expert what she can do to help find her child (if her child were really missing)?

According to him, she is essentially not even part of the team. As if either uninterested or because she already knows exactly where her daughter is.

I thought of that, too. Good point. Why have they remained friends? On the other hand, why are they suddenly not friends now? I can tell you I’m old enough to have a grown child but I am still friends with many from elementary school. And I’d stand by each of them, no matter what. I’d testify that none of them could possibly be capable of harming their children. Casey has had not one single person (so far, granted) willing to say this.

You made a valid point about the friends calling her a habitual liar. The point here is that she has been telling lies since elementary school and yet they have remained friends….think about it.

Have you read all the docs released? Every friend, even her oldest friend since early elementary school, has said Casey is a habitual liar, etc. No one has stood beside her.

I don’t even know a single soul who would end up in a “friend-less” position. I’ve never known anyone like her, and I’m guessing that to many of us, she’s alien territory; hence, difficult if not impossible to understand.

Sounds like she wasn’t a commodity; rather, sounds like humans were a commodity in her eyes, including possibly her precious daughter.

When you consider a single man breached the entire military computer system; anything seems likely. Perhaps they are keeping these facts in mind when not considering writing their grandchild off as dead.

There are kidnapping rings, extortion rings, sex rings and the like inside our country that no one seems to deal with…it sounds better if it were overseas. Though there are individuals out there such as Susan Smith, I would, if in the grandparents shoes, explore all options as well.

So called experts always surface in these cases, but when you look at them deep down and up close one would have to wonder exactly how much of an expert they are. I saw that Det. who is associated with O.J….what’s that guys name? Also read a profiler who claimed to have profiled the BTK killers personality; actually, the guy literally sent his last name and partial address in a puzzle to the police, the media had access, and it wasn’t until a lawyer started writing a book about him some 30 years later did the guy surface again. Everyone, including the lawyer, overlooked the obvious…the guys name was in the puzzle!!!!

Yeah….almost anything can happen.

The major issue that Casey has to face is the fact she didn’t report this, or to our knowledge, no one else knows about what happened; I can’t help but believe that there is someone else who knows.

I enjoyed your earlier statements about the mob outside and I wholeheartedly agree with you. There is problems within the family, and let’s face it, who doesn’t have problems. But, for it to be made public is humiliating; to have a tragic outcome as the one that we are witnessing….I would think that would be absolutely unbearable.

I think of how brave Laci Peterson’s and Natalie Holloway’s mothers were when their daughters were missing and believed dead. They weren’t in denial at all. They just wanted to know the truth and what happened to their beautiful daughters.

It’s too bad Cindy is too sick to want to know the truth. Makes me believe that things may have been different if Cindy had not been in denial and realized Casey was not bonded with her daughter and something could happen to her granddaughter if she didn’t step in and get custody.

But she didn’t say anything new. Just said that Casey is innocent. That she believes Caylee is alive. She was clearly angry–at the media, the authorities, and the public. She thinks the public has been tricked into believing that Caylee is dead.

When confronted directly (but politely) about Casey’s lies and Casey being the one in the way of finding Caylee, she immediately changed the subject, focusing instead on the authorities’ leaking information they had no business leaking. She never answered the tough questions about Casey. Avoided them entirely.

She’s discounting or ignoring entirely any evidence that points toward Caylee’s demise.

hmmm. The purpose? My guess would be that it is in reaction to both the mobs at her house and Casey’s re-arrest. More of a reaction instead of an “action with purpose,” other than the purpose of declaring her continued belief in Casey’s innocence.

Wonder why brother Lee is not speaking. He appeared to be quite reasonable in his phone calls with Casey.

I continue to want to insist to Cindy that she demand her daughter disclose Caylee’s location. I honestly think that’s the only possible chance of anyone ever finding out. Casey seems to be “that” afraid of her mother’s rejection.

But at the same time, I’ll it creeped me out to watch the video of her being confronted. When Kitty Gonzalez confronted her, yelling, “Denial!!!” over and over, and that older woman saying she knows what a dead body smells like bc her husband owned a funeral home, well, it seemed barbaric and heartless to me.

Cindy is not on trial. I don’t agree with what she is saying or doing. But it is not a crime to believe in your daughter, even against all odds. It may be morally wrong, if the result is a delay in locating your own granddaughter’s body. But it is not a crime to believe in what she says to you.

In our fervor and passion for wanting justice for Caylee, we must not lose our humanity.

Whether the parents are good parents or not, they do not deserve to have lost a grandchild. No one would want to be in their shoes.

But, some people cannot tell fact from fiction…that is a truth that no one can deny. Unfortunately, when you are very close to that person and have assumed a different form of communication, it isn’t easy to see the obvious.

They are certainly agitated over the fact that high school or college students are harassing them over the fact the have just learned where the city easements are. They are indeed harassing that family are not doing anything to further their career in journalism.

I am glad we can all discuss this in a reasonable manner.

Did you see Cindy on NBC’s Today show this morning? When asked point blank, she still refuses to respond to the issue of Casey’s lies. She still claims her innocence. She blames the LE’s, media, and the public for Caylee not being found yet. She does not blame her daughter for not telling where Caylee is located.

The media keeps asking, “Where is Caylee?”
The LE’s keep asking, “Where is Caylee?”
Indeed, the world wants to know, “Where is Caylee?”

Only one person knows. And her mouth is shut.

Who, I ask, is to blame?
Who, I ask, knows the location of Caylee?

It is entirely reasonable to hold the parent responsible for knowing AT ALL TIMES the location of her child. That is her legal and moral responsibility.

I read the long, long docs released last week and don’t specifically remember the chemicals being mentioned. But it would be easy enough to do a “search and find” because they are pdf docs. I remember hearing George mention a cleaning product on videotape.

It was widely reported that Baez brought Padillo in through a third party in New York. Rumors were that the third party was Geraldo (among other possibilities). Right after Padillo got involved, Baez was sailing on Geraldo’s ship in the NY area, which seemed very strange at the time.

Regardless, Casey is behind bars. Maybe this will help with the recovery of Caylee. Maybe she will talk. We can hope.

We all want Caylee found, and we want justice on her behalf. If she’s no longer with us, as certainly appears to be the case, we want her to have the dignity of a respectful resting place.

However, we also need to remember that if she is no longer with us, “she” is not out there somewhere in the woods, water, etc. Just her body is. If the worst has happened, then Caylee’s spirit has been set free.

Thank God, she’s back in jail to stay and hopefully for life or until she gets the death penalty. She shouldn’t be home taking hot baths and painting her nails and getting on the computer and phone and intimidating witnesses. Cindy can do that on her own.

I was just thinking that of course Casey is not worried. Her parents have lied for her, covered up for her and bailed her out all her life. Now she believes they and her big strong attorney will get her out so why should she worry. All she has to do is keep her mouth shut and play the innocent role and mommy, daddy, brother and attorney will fight for her.

Just listen to them and analyze the questions they ask…they are apparently not thinking on their own!

It isn’t up to us to solve the case. That’s the police’s job and they are much more qualified, experienced and capable than we are.

Whether we are narrow minded or not isn’t going to affect the case or the community. The state attorney is going to take all of the evidence and present it to a jury. A jury will make the decision based on the evidence - forensics and circumstantial.

We can speculate all we want about what happened but frankly I think it’s a waste of time.

Since the case began, I looked at it as if I was a juror going over the evidence and making up my mind based on the evidence not some wild speculation I made up in my head.

Also,I understand those of you that feel bad for the family and I did as well at first learning of the case. This is life, there is good & evil. When we hear or read these type of stories our first instinct is to show compassion, but there are people that would kill their child because they see them as a burden or even cover up an accident because they know they would lose their freedom. This is truely a case that has touched us all, but see the truth in front of you… The parents know Caylee is gone and Casey will likely get the death penalty if convicted- FL does not care if you are a female- Murder is Murder, they are trying to keep up the “image” of help us find our granddaughter, knowing that it is all they have left. The father is a retired police, they know how this how process works.

Unfortunately, the person who has suffered from this sick individual is her own daughter. Karma is a bitch, and Casey will get hers. She will be stuck in prison the rest of her life, or go to the gas chamber.

It’s a very sad situation, I pray for Caylee every night, that if she’s in heaven, she will finally have peace.

The police arrested her for lying to them and refusing to help them find her missing toddler.

Then her friend Amy pressed charges on her for stealing $700 from her and she was arrested again.

Her bond was revoked when she promised to help find Caylee and instead played on her computer, had baths and did whatever she wanted.

Finally, she is in jail where she belongs.

Hopefully she will soon be charged with homicide for Caylee’s death.

Jose, Cindy and George will keep enabling her because that’s what they do. But I hope no one else feels sorry for her and bails her out.

The only way we are going to get justice for Caylee and all of the other victims of Casey is to make her pay for her crimes.
