Angel.....cause the investigators are putting their ducks in a row and going to make sure that their is NO WAY, she can get out of any of this and put her away for good. It will happen, it's just a matter of time. I don't believe that they will even have to find Caylee's body........there is soooooo much that WE don't know yet. Just my opinion from following this case.

Friday night before Casey was arrested again Cindy phoned 911 for help from the police (whom she otherwise despises - except when she wants what she wants) to do something about the mob outside of her house. Well, she got what she wanted and the taxpayers of Florida saved a bit of money at the same time. The police went with plenty of back up to protect Casey and the house from the mob and took the opportunity to arrest her and take her away - thereby cooling down the mood of the crowd a good bit. Got two birds with one stone. Good for them. Be careful what you wish for, Cindy.

I'm glad Padilla arranged to get her out on bail and before you all go for my throat let me explain. (First that I never heard of him before this so I'm not sticking up for him other than for the following reason). When Casey was first arrested her mother accused the cops of putting her in jail too soon - before Casey could really help with the investigation. And Casey herself said back then that she could not talk while she was in jail because her child and her family would be in danger. So Padilla called her bluff and got her out. Casey had the chance to talk with anyone she wanted -didn't have to be Padilla- and she did nothing to help find her child. Now I'm no longer worried that a very important opportunity might have been missed - that it would have made a big difference if she'd had that chance to speak outside of jail. Padilla gave it to her and she didn't use it to help find her child. One less excuse she can use in her defense. And now she's back behind bars. So I'm glad about that, too.

Then why haven't they charged CASEY with murder?????????? For the love of God!!!!!

I haven't found that article yet but I did stumble upon one in which Padilla was interviewing with Geraldo. Another fellow was discussing the dead body smell and he said the guy had said it smelled just like a guy who had committed suicide in the trunk of his car...made me think...how does one go about doing that?!!!!

Police sources said the lab test that clinched the decision was on strands of hair belonging to Caylee that showed signs of decomposition. However, those tests did not provide a probable cause for how the child's body ended up in the trunk. Investigators said they're continuing to look into that.

"I want an apology from Sheriff Kevin Beary," Cindy Anthony said.

Meanwhile, Cindy Anthony said she's still fuming over her daughter's re-arrest on Friday. She refuses to buy into evidence that her granddaughter is dead.

"We need to start looking for a little girl that's walking and living and breathing and someone actually has her," Cindy Anthony said.

Sheriff's investigators said the timing of the arrest Friday was not orchestrated. They said these latest economic crime charges are a separate matter from the child neglect case.

With two new felony counts and one misdemeanor, Casey Anthony is now facing to 17 years in prison if convicted of everything.

Investigators had not, until Sunday, disclosed that the decomposing body was, in fact, Caylee.

"The information we've gotten back from the lab that she was in the trunk of that car and that she is dead is certainly something we take seriously," said Orange County Sheriff's Office Sgt. John Allen.

The 3-year-old's grandmother, Cindy Anthony, called 911 in June saying she had not seen her granddaughters in several days and her daughter's car smelled like a dead body.

Cindy Anthony later rescinded her comment, saying the smell was an old pizza and some cleaning fluid.

On Sunday, 150 volunteers came out to help Texas Equusearch, an organization using computer mapping and other high-tech means to try to find some evidence of Caylee Marie Anthony.

"We've come across a lot of areas," said Mandy Albritton with Texas Equusearch. "We've ruled out a lot of areas she's not, so that's progress."

Orange County detectives are directing search teams to areas associated with their investigation, like a wooded area near the Amscot where Casey Anthony abandoned her car.

"The information we've gotten back from the FBI lab has clearly helped us focus our investigation," Allen said.

ORLANDO, Fla. -- For the first time on the record on Sunday, Orange County investigators acknowledged that recent FBI lab tests confirmed that Caylee Anthony's body was in her mother's trunk and that the child is dead.

Evidence from a Central Florida body farm showed that an odor emitted from Casey Anthony's car's trunk was human decomposition.

A lead investigator in the case told WESH 2's Bob Kealing that lab results indicated Caylee's dead body was in the trunk of that car. Sources also confirmed that a stain in the trunk was not what clinched the decision that Caylee was in the trunk, but it was the strands of hair that investigators suspected all along were Caylee's

ok dude Caylee is dead all right this is what i just read in an article today:

We’re providing search areas that we think might be fruitful,” Sgt. John Allen of the Sheriff’s Office. “Since we’ve gotten things back from the FBI lab, we know that we’re probably looking for a body.”

Also, I am not so naive to believe just because she discussed the "possibility" of adoption with a barren "friend" of hers while she was an unwed mother that she is guilty of not wanting her little girl, especially after she was born!

I think it is illogical for people like Padilla to assume so, first since he is a man, and secondly, because a lot of young pregnant women feel that way...not just Casey.

I, like Cindy Anthony, would refuse to admit Caylee was actually dead until I had more proof than a bad smell and a single hair inside a trunk of a car that is 10 years old that has been passed down within the family. Her gut feeling is that the little girl isn't dead.

Also, if in fact the girl is found to be dead, I wouldn't be so quick to assume it was murder considering the childlike behavior of Casey and her "friends" who like to party and have no children of their own; not knowing what is or isn't safe to have around small children, not thinking about small children possibly standing behind a vehicle while in reverse, or someone who may totally fall apart if they were the accidental cause of the death of a small child. Remember, Casey and most of her "friends" are in their early twenties.

I didn't realize you also believe, as I do, that the evidence, events, and circumstances so far all point to murder.

This is Casey Anthony's photo bucket link, another person on a differt blog found it. Show a major party girl and some of the icons she saved for her myspace can tell her behavior. Cut & paste the link

First date Caylee was thought to be missing is June 9th; an honest mistake, now it's June 16th. Friends, if you want to call them that, came forward to straighten this out. A photo was found to prove this is the last date the grandparents saw Caylee; grandma's emotions sometimes get in the way of the facts. Another photo surfaces from a "so-called" friend proving she was partying on the 20th...hmmmm, after watching an interview of this photographer I noticed he likes to look to the left quite often. Then, Jessie Grund states he heard Caylee in the background on the 24th; Jessie is a former police officer and ex-fiance. Friends of Tony Lazarro think they are so "tight" that they even state that Casey wasn't working at the club Fusion but was indeed partying; if that were happening they would have known about it because they know Tony so well. However, within the documents, and please correct me if I'm wrong since I read them once, I believe Tony stated something to the effect that Casey was 'in charge of' the shot girls....I guess that is a shot glass for a liquor beverage, I really don't know because I'm not much of a "clubber."

So, why do they assume they know soooooooo much about each other?

to some of the people on this blog i respect your opinons but look at the facts in this case, what mother in their right mind doesn't report their child missing for over a month, it seems she would have done that as soon as the child went missing so police could start seaching for her but she doesn't, if it was a accident why didn't she call 911 she doesn't, she is so full of crap and her parents to.I am so glad she is back in jail and when the truth comes out her parents are going to be there to.There is something so wrong in this case it will blow everybodys minds

An extremely difficult argument, considering the odor reported by numerous people, picked up on by 2 dogs, DNA tests, "air" test. She refuses to disclose location of Caylee. Lies about nearly every detail surrounding the disappearance of Caylee. Is not looking for Caylee. Claims to know who has Caylee but won't tell authorities.

All seems to point in the opposite direction.

cut and paste this link and read about the three other high profile cases Mr. Baez has represented. Once you have read that, tell me if he is representing Casey on the presumption of innocents.

Casey is not an innocent mother...she stole, she drank, she has admitted to some drug use, she failed to report the child missing in a timely manner...definitely not an innocent mother!

However, that doesn't necessarily mean she is a murderer; I believe that will be her attorney's main point.

Also, I am very, very curious what Casey planned to do with the money she stole from her parents and new found friends. That is something we don't know just yet. We are not absolutely positive she is truly psychotic nor do we know for a fact she isn't being threatened by some outside force.

I don't think Casey is her "own person." She seems to agree and go along with the crowd and that has been demonstrated many times. Someone who is their "own person" doesn't have to lie; they tell it like it is and let the chips fall where they may.

I think Cindy was in the process of getting the truth out of her, yet she made a major mistake...she called 911 and said the car smelled like it had a dead body in it. Then she is angered that the police show up with cadaver dogs...go figure. People behave strangely when they are overly emotional. Apparently, she has been behaving this way for a long time with no regard of what others may think. Apparently Casey has been telling fibs for years as well...that's how they communicate to each other.

But, I doubt that will happen because if it did then there wouldn't be a sensational story for the viewers to tune in to nor would they be selling as many ad spaces. Padilla wouldn't be front and center, angry protesters wouldn't be destroying the neighborhood which was probably once peaceful, local police wouldn't be featured on the Dr. Phil show, and we wouldn't have to be subjected to media's "quasi-experts."

Casey is her own person, regardless of her attorney. Believe me, no attorney could stop an innocent mother from searching. NONE! No way. That's my point.

Also, while at home, if Casey had called the police and said, "Come pick me up, and let's go look for Caylee," they would have gladly complied. That's what they've wanted all along. She's refused. She could say it now, and they'd take her out to go search. I think we all know why she won't.

I truly wish I could believe you. But Cindy has not shown any signs of willingness to force Casey to tell the truth. At least, not since that first day of phone calls to 911.

Can't figure out where you're coming from. Do you not think Casey had anything to do with her daughter's disappearance? Do you not believe Casey's family is hindering the investigation?

From all we know by now, I do believe Casey is directly responsible for her daughter's disappearance (and unfortunately, her demise) and believe her parents are covering up her crime.

Casey is not allowed to leave the house according to ankle bracelet security, not allowed to discuss the case according to her attorney, not allowed to be herself inside her own home because a security officer associated with Padilla is living inside the house.

Regardless of whether or not who told whom to do what, I'm betting if Padilla's crew left, gawkers didn't show up, and the media cleared the area, I think the next police call to the property would be the neighbors calling in defense of Casey as I am sure her mother would jump on her and not let go until she told her something!

RV,
Sorry, I didn't connect the dots. I believe the fact that she is not searching for Caylee points to the idea that she has no reason to search for her.

Can you think of one other reason Casey has not searched for her daughter?

As a good mother, one you probably are, you wouldn't have had your little girl in bed with a boyfriend for a sleepover either. Nor would you have exposed her to your friends who were drinking nor would you have friends who would sit idly by and not say something. We are not here to judge morality, but to examine what may or may not have happened to Caylee.

Unfortunately, bad things happen to the good and the bad. Caylee was indeed an innocent among us. It is to Caylee's benefit to examine all possible avenues in which to find her and not be judgmental of her mother or grandparents.

After watching the news, which is my only source of information, I have to believe they direct their questions in such a way as to steer away from the subject. To your knowledge, has any murder suspect in history ever left the police station on the arm of her attorney and after being questioned by a reporter they broke down and confessed? I don't know media history, but I'm thinking that's highly unlikely!

RV,
As a mother, I don't care who told me to keep quiet, if my child was missing, I would search 24 hours a day and never ever stop until I found him.

I wouldn't care what happened to me. I would not even be capable of that consideration. I'd give up my life to find him.

Most parents are the same way.

I firmly believe there is a logical reason that Casey is not searching for Caylee. That reason is that she knows exactly where Caylee is, so she has no reason to search. This idea is backed up with DNA tests, the "air" test, the lies, and on and on.

After a lawyer was involved he specifically told her not to mention the case to anyone; his job is to protect Casey. It is apparent that Casey has never become an adult in the true sense of the word perhaps because her mother made all her decisions. It is also possible, being the liar she is, moving from friend to friend, that she may have happened upon someone just like herself who indeed took Caylee.

The friend in Jacksonville admitted that she had admitted to him she had recently started experimenting with drugs....that's a red flag to me.

And, an angry protestor by the name of Gonzales shows up to berate Cindy and give her advice on how she should handle the media along with a woman who has been in the funeral home business. I must say, that really creeped me out!!!

I'd like to clarify:
The following was my statement, not Miller's. I was surmising, based on what he had previously said. I don't want to put words in his mouth. ["According to him, she is essentially not even part of the team. As if either uninterested or because she already knows exactly where her daughter is."]

This is what it seems to me, from what he said and from what we've seen--especially the lies to the authorities and the fact that she has not once searched for her daughter. While on house arrest, I am sure she could have called the police and said, "Come pick me up. Let's go look for Caylee." This did not happen.

Also, if Zenaida Fernadez-Gonzales is indeed a figment of her imagination, someone using an alias, or someone she just met, then why does she drive a silver Ford Focus and not a Corvette, a station wagon, or a mini van?

When asked about the length of time she has known Zenaida she she states, 'for four years.' Was it 'for four years' or was it 'for,...for....years!!!' This may be the lie. The length of time she has known this woman.

RV,
lol at the photo-reveal.

But seriously though, we do have some more to go on than the pics/videos we've seen. For instance, Tim Miller, probably the most respected man in America (director of Equusearch), said when interviewed that he has spent hours at the house and said of Casey that she walks around smiling but spends most of her time alone in her room on the computer. (my thought at this point--"oh, while the ADULTS are making plans?!?"). She'd come out occasionally and visit briefly, then return to her room.

He said she didn't mention Caylee (HUH?). And she did not speak to him about finding Caylee (HUH?). When asked if he thought that was strange (since he afterall is in charge of the team searching for Caylee), he said, "Yes, I did wonder about that, but I have to stay focused."

This is a man who has lost a child. His daughter was kidnapped and murdered. He's seen a wide variety of responses from parents faced with the possibility of having lost their children.

I think this is quite telling. What parent would not remain by Miller's side every moment, learning from the expert what she can do to help find her child (if her child were really missing)?

According to him, she is essentially not even part of the team. As if either uninterested or because she already knows exactly where her daughter is.

....
I thought of that, too. Good point. Why have they remained friends? On the other hand, why are they suddenly not friends now? I can tell you I'm old enough to have a grown child but I am still friends with many from elementary school. And I'd stand by each of them, no matter what. I'd testify that none of them could possibly be capable of harming their children. Casey has had not one single person (so far, granted) willing to say this.

You are correct that perhaps she too viewed others as a source to further her needs; thus is the society in which we live. However, I can't tell from a photo what someone's personality is like and I doubt many can. If that were the case, then every time I were pulled over for a traffic violation I would be incarcerated for murder because the DMV just doesn't do Glamour Shots. Lol!

You made a valid point about the friends calling her a habitual liar. The point here is that she has been telling lies since elementary school and yet they have remained friends....think about it.

RV, Good point on the family dynamics. Still, for anyone who has ever been a parent, it is extremely difficult to understand Casey's stone cold expression, in facing the possibility of losing her daughter and/or losing her freedom--the most important things in life.

Have you read all the docs released? Every friend, even her oldest friend since early elementary school, has said Casey is a habitual liar, etc. No one has stood beside her.

I don't even know a single soul who would end up in a "friend-less" position. I've never known anyone like her, and I'm guessing that to many of us, she's alien territory; hence, difficult if not impossible to understand.

Sounds like she wasn't a commodity; rather, sounds like humans were a commodity in her eyes, including possibly her precious daughter.

If Casey is indeed guilty of all that she is accused, then this is one really sick young woman. When they report Casey has no friends, that isn't true because it is reasonably safe to assume she made friends easily; however, her inability to financially provide for herself started putting a wedge between them. In that light, I feel it is equally possible that someone may have figured out a way to get blood out of a turnip...take Casey as if she were a commodity.

Caylee has stolen America's Heart, I am not trying to make since of a crime that a mother may or may not have committed. I will not be a juror on this case, nor do I feel it is correct to assume that the media has the right to lay out the case and have the general public decide either. The Anthony family shouldn't be on trial for what Casey may or may not have done; Casey is 22 years old! If the protesters want to walk around with signs the call Casey a murderer, Then they might as well picket the police station for failing to do their job; as of this time she has not been charged with murder!!!!!

To: Reasonablevoice,
you are correct about Cindy Anthony inviting a protester into her home, however, the protester declined. Can't say I blame the protester! She might not ever be found again! You are also correct in that Caylee may be alive (and I say that with much hesitation) because there is no "body." However, put yourself on a jury and and always go back to the facts of this case.....she had motive, opportunity, she was the last one to see Caylee alive and she refuses to help in the investigation with (truthful) information that could help locate her daughter. If that doesn't convince you Casey is guilty, go to the the real facts....DNA. I think we are way beyond a "reasonable doubt." I will agree that several things remain uncertain... is Caylee alive and if not, was it murder or accident? Even if it was accidental, Casey's concern, actions, partying, cover-ups, lie after lie....in no way has given me ANY sympathy towards Casey Anthony. Caylee is the victim.....not Casey, not Cindy or George, not Padilla, not Baez......your 'reasonablevoice' is trying to make sense of a crime that no mother should ever be able to commit, whether she sold the child, gave her away, accidentally killed her and so on. If I'm wrong about all this.......God forgive me, and I will be the first to apologize on this website to all the Anthony's. Our hearts tell us Caylee is alive.... but our mind tells us differently. So many of us have been effected by this case.

At this point in time we really don't know the entire facts surrounding Casey's behavior; there have been no personal interviews other than those recorded at the jail. Their family dynamics suggest there may be little room for outburst outside of those that they normally experience...perhaps this is why Casey lies a lot. Lee seems calm, cool, and collected; it seems reasonable Casey would be too. Even in the photos during her party time, when she is over the toilet, talking to "Ralph" I suppose, she is still smiling....makes you think about her personality.

This just tears me up. When I was 13 years old I had a brother get hit& killed by a truck on his 10 speed bike he was only 11 months apart from me.
I am not calling for a pity party. My mother till the day she passed on still grieved of the loss of a son. A truck driver ran a red light and hit him on his bike. My parents could have sued the truck driver. They chose not to sue as they stated " Money will not replace my son" I lived every moment seeing what my Mother went through. This of course has nothing to do with the caylee story. But my mother was so emotional till the day she passed away. Casey has no emotions at all it makes me sick

It is equally as possible that Cindy goes along with her lies to keep her talking so that she can catch her in a bigger lie in order to deduce the truth. We really don't know why she does that...maybe she is taking up for her daughter in public. Many would under such circumstances.

Actually, it is possible for someone to hack a phone service and it not show up. I've even had several calls that I've received and when I called back that number was said to not be a working number....I've reported it and the wait to get someone to respond is outrageous.

When you consider a single man breached the entire military computer system; anything seems likely. Perhaps they are keeping these facts in mind when not considering writing their grandchild off as dead.

There are kidnapping rings, extortion rings, sex rings and the like inside our country that no one seems to deal with...it sounds better if it were overseas. Though there are individuals out there such as Susan Smith, I would, if in the grandparents shoes, explore all options as well.

So called experts always surface in these cases, but when you look at them deep down and up close one would have to wonder exactly how much of an expert they are. I saw that Det. who is associated with O.J....what's that guys name? Also read a profiler who claimed to have profiled the BTK killers personality; actually, the guy literally sent his last name and partial address in a puzzle to the police, the media had access, and it wasn't until a lawyer started writing a book about him some 30 years later did the guy surface again. Everyone, including the lawyer, overlooked the obvious...the guys name was in the puzzle!!!!

Yeah....almost anything can happen.

Everyone, including the lawyer, overlooked the obvious…the guys name was in the puzzle!!!!

Yeah….almost anything can happen.

to: Reasonablevoice, you may be right in your statement. But you have to remember, so far Cindy and George have both changed their stories along the way. So I'm not convinced this is an honest effort to "find" Caylee. Cindy even lied about the the phone call that "Zenaida" allegedly made to Casey the day her mom MADE her report Caylee missing. She stated according to phone records, it DID occur. I don't believe for one minute if it means Casey spending the rest of her life in jail, that Cindy OR George want Caylee's (probable) body found at this point. #1. They lose their "loving" daughter too, #2. They have to admit and accept that Caylee is dead and start the grieving process, #3. They have to face the world everyday knowing that Casey did commit the ultimate crime and the world was right about Casey (too proud for that!), #4, they will feel "guilty" for not having done something along time ago about Casey and her behavior(s) (they aren't ready to deal with that guilt!!). I think they'd rather go on forever believing that Caylee is alive somewhere to avoid having to deal with any of the above emotions or feelings. They didn't have to bring in Equasearch.....all they had to do was get the info out of Casey regardless of what Baez told them to "not" talk about. They had the "KEY" to solving this right in their own house for over 1 week!!!!!!!!!!

I couldn't find the Today show video...but if it's the same ole thing, then I'm just as well off having not done so.

The major issue that Casey has to face is the fact she didn't report this, or to our knowledge, no one else knows about what happened; I can't help but believe that there is someone else who knows.

Where i come from the parents would kick her ass for stalling the way she is. They would not be able to sit quietly looking at her when she shows such little concern for Caylee. The parents should only worry about Caylee. Hard to believe this ex-cop is not faking it all. She knows if she talks she would be in jail for 40 years. So i do not think she will talk.

Actually,CayleehasstolenAmerica'sheart, Cindy and George may be well equipped to help in the search with help from friends of Casey providing information and using the stolen money and cell phone records to put in place a more accurate timeline than what is provided in the news.

Regardless of the fact that it may be denial or not, some family dynamics are such that they may go after each other, but God help anyone else who goes after another family member.

I only wish she had been released earlier and let her Mom have at her at home. Now that the storms have blown through, so much leaked in the media, perhaps even people out there planting things such as the clothing found in the woods, then, maybe...just maybe it would have been different than after she obtained a lawyer who told her not to speak to anyone.

I don't think any of them... Cindy, George, Mr. Baez, or Mr. Padilla Or Mr. Padilla's nephew can tell the truth anymore than Casey can. I watched the Nancy Grace show recently one night when She specifically asked Leonard Padilla, if he were going to revoke Casey's bond. PADILLA said specifically, it wasn't up to him. That he could "recommend" it to his nephew, but that the decision was ultimately up to the newphew whether it happens or not and he needs to "grow up" and make a decision. Now just recently.........Mr. Padilla AND his nephew (the bondsman)BOTH appeared on the same talk show and the same questioned was asked and the NEPHEW said...yes I am revoking the bond. If Mr. Padilla asked that the bond be revoked then I have no choice but to comply with his request????????? Seems one of them is lying????? This wasn't "reported by the media so I could have "interpreted it wrongly.....", I seen for myself what they BOTH said on national television. No matter how the picture of Caylee's disappearance is painted, the one thing EVERYONE agrees on is that Casey was involved and holds the key to possibly finding her (dead or alive). I don't see how anyone could speculate that it was an accident myself (because of Casey's actions in the following days), but let's just say for arguments sake it was an accident. ALL she had to do was tell the authorities or SOMEONE, that in the beginning.......but no, she lead them on a wild goose chase with alot of lies. Caylee would be home and put to rest by now. Allegedly, the Anthony's called in Equasearch (don't know the truth to that or not) but in any case, Cindy has lied to protect her daughter since she was put in jail so I wonder why they think she would assist them (truthfully) in the "right" direction of where Caylee might be Remember cindy's own words that will come back to haunt her......smells like a dead body....oh, it was just rotten pizza. Casey is a psociopath.......oh, now she'll get mother of the year award. She found clothes in the car that smelled like the car (remember...a dead body) and turned them over to police....oh....by the way, "I washed them." Casey stole money from Grandpa's nursing home fund (account)........but thank goodness Cindy covered the $70,000+ theft and replaced it. Bless her heart, she was doing her daughter such a big favor. When asked recently if she has asked Casey while she's been home if she knows where Caylee is.....she said no. WHY THE HELL NOT?????????? Oh yeah......Baez doesn't want the truth, he just wants to have complete acess to Casey solely so she CAN'T tell the truth. Anyone who has followed this case from day one knows Casey is quilty.....just can't prove of "what" until they finish their investigation. I think Caylee looking from above would be disappointed (but forgiving) of the grandparents who should have protected her....if not before her death....AFTERWARDS!! One dysfunctional family member enabling another to continue to cover up and lie is ALL this amounts too. Glad I'm not a defense attorney. NO amount of money or fame could help me sleep at night knowing that I helped a murdering maniac of a human being to get off on anything less than what she deserves!!! In the next few days we'll see on the news that Cindy cooperated in the Equasearch team searching for Caylee.....but wow....no body found so that is proof....SHE IS STILL ALIVE. How can Cindy and George "assist" in the search when they had no idea where Casey and Caylee was for 31 days??? We can all be hopefull for Caylee, but the evidence keeps giving us all a "reality check."

Concerned...thank you for the new nickname, I'm assuming you are talking about me. It is difficult to keep up with the entire log as I am not updated until I make a post or log back in...don't know why.

I enjoyed your earlier statements about the mob outside and I wholeheartedly agree with you. There is problems within the family, and let's face it, who doesn't have problems. But, for it to be made public is humiliating; to have a tragic outcome as the one that we are witnessing....I would think that would be absolutely unbearable.

I think it's very sad that Cindy stays in denial. But not surprised. She probably numbs her feelings that way and feels no pain. But she's not helping Caylee or Casey by denying the truth.

I think of how brave Laci Peterson's and Natalie Holloway's mothers were when their daughters were missing and believed dead. They weren't in denial at all. They just wanted to know the truth and what happened to their beautiful daughters.

It's too bad Cindy is too sick to want to know the truth. Makes me believe that things may have been different if Cindy had not been in denial and realized Casey was not bonded with her daughter and something could happen to her granddaughter if she didn't step in and get custody.

Trace,
Yes, Cindy was on The Today show, this morning. You can probably find a transcript online.

But she didn't say anything new. Just said that Casey is innocent. That she believes Caylee is alive. She was clearly angry--at the media, the authorities, and the public. She thinks the public has been tricked into believing that Caylee is dead.

When confronted directly (but politely) about Casey's lies and Casey being the one in the way of finding Caylee, she immediately changed the subject, focusing instead on the authorities' leaking information they had no business leaking. She never answered the tough questions about Casey. Avoided them entirely.

She's discounting or ignoring entirely any evidence that points toward Caylee's demise.

hmmm. The purpose? My guess would be that it is in reaction to both the mobs at her house and Casey's re-arrest. More of a reaction instead of an "action with purpose," other than the purpose of declaring her continued belief in Casey's innocence.

Wonder why brother Lee is not speaking. He appeared to be quite reasonable in his phone calls with Casey.

Wonder why brother Lee is not speaking. He appeared to be quite reasonable in his phone calls with Casey.

My heart goes out to everyone involved. I do think that Casey Anthony is guilty but that is not for me to decide. It does not look good on her end but she has to be charged with the crime and convicted by a jury. If Casey killed her daughter, whether intentionally or accidentally shows that there is definitely something wrong with her and that makes me sad. George and Cindy are just being parents and I think that they are in complete denial. My heart breaks for them but I think they are caught in the middle. I hope that none of us ever have to walk in their shoes. I for one would never want to be in that position to know what I would do. I would never intentionally lie or protect my child if I knew that they were guilty. Obviously, Casey has a history of not telling the truth and her parents want to believe in her and not the possibility of their beautiful granddaughter being found dead. Of course the main focus is and should be Caylee. I pray to God that she is still alive. Hounding or harassing them is not going to change the outcome. Ultimately if Casey is guilty and she walks away a free woman. That will only last so long. One day she will stand before Almighty God and He will judge her.

They have access to the statements in which Casey stole money from them and can discern what was done with the money. They have more access to Casey's friends than the police have. Not to mention, it was Cindy who indeed make the most damaging statements against Casey in her 911 call and then wonders why the police are acting as they are...apparently she forgot her overly emotional actions...well, perhaps not overly emotional considering the circumstances at that point in time.

RV (your new nickname?),
I will agree that the mob outside of their house is a scary site, not just for the Anthony's and neighbor's, but it just keeps reminding me of the famous "mobs of Paris," such as the "Storming of the Bastille." We are a land ruled by law, not mobs.

I continue to want to insist to Cindy that she demand her daughter disclose Caylee's location. I honestly think that's the only possible chance of anyone ever finding out. Casey seems to be "that" afraid of her mother's rejection.

But at the same time, I'll it creeped me out to watch the video of her being confronted. When Kitty Gonzalez confronted her, yelling, "Denial!!!" over and over, and that older woman saying she knows what a dead body smells like bc her husband owned a funeral home, well, it seemed barbaric and heartless to me.

Cindy is not on trial. I don't agree with what she is saying or doing. But it is not a crime to believe in your daughter, even against all odds. It may be morally wrong, if the result is a delay in locating your own granddaughter's body. But it is not a crime to believe in what she says to you.

In our fervor and passion for wanting justice for Caylee, we must not lose our humanity.

Whether the parents are good parents or not, they do not deserve to have lost a grandchild. No one would want to be in their shoes.

Cindy and her daughter have a certain way of communicating which has become second nature to both of them. A lot of people lie, and a lot of people tolerate it...it's only when the situation becomes as this one has that one begins to wonder why they lie; who knows?

But, some people cannot tell fact from fiction...that is a truth that no one can deny. Unfortunately, when you are very close to that person and have assumed a different form of communication, it isn't easy to see the obvious.

I have reviewed the Cindy video and it's not in the one where she hammered signs on the lawn; I'm pretty sure I heard that cleaning fluid was mentioned somewhere.

They are certainly agitated over the fact that high school or college students are harassing them over the fact the have just learned where the city easements are. They are indeed harassing that family are not doing anything to further their career in journalism.

ReasonableVoice,
I don't follow your reasoning. Can you explain how "Concerned About Caylee" is talking out of both sides of her mouth?

Did you see Cindy on NBC's Today show this morning? When asked point blank, she still refuses to respond to the issue of Casey's lies. She still claims her innocence. She blames the LE's, media, and the public for Caylee not being found yet. She does not blame her daughter for not telling where Caylee is located.

The media keeps asking, "Where is Caylee?"
The LE's keep asking, "Where is Caylee?"
Indeed, the world wants to know, "Where is Caylee?"

Only one person knows. And her mouth is shut.

Who, I ask, is to blame?
Who, I ask, knows the location of Caylee?

It is entirely reasonable to hold the parent responsible for knowing AT ALL TIMES the location of her child. That is her legal and moral responsibility.

The difference, however, is that you use the word "rumors" when referring to Geraldo's connection to Baez. That's how stuff gets started and just snowballs out of control!

Yes, it is confusing if you aren't retaining all that you've seen and all that you've read from the documents, ConcernedaboutCaylee, perhaps a review from the beginning will shed new light on your perspective and you can try to place yourself in other's shoes.

Reasonablevoice,
We do know what she did with part of the money. Video tape shows her writing a check at Target for $111.01. They know she wrote a check at WinnDixie, too.

ConcernedAboutCaylee--very good points.

I read the long, long docs released last week and don't specifically remember the chemicals being mentioned. But it would be easy enough to do a "search and find" because they are pdf docs. I remember hearing George mention a cleaning product on videotape.

It was widely reported that Baez brought Padillo in through a third party in New York. Rumors were that the third party was Geraldo (among other possibilities). Right after Padillo got involved, Baez was sailing on Geraldo's ship in the NY area, which seemed very strange at the time.

Regardless, Casey is behind bars. Maybe this will help with the recovery of Caylee. Maybe she will talk. We can hope.

We all want Caylee found, and we want justice on her behalf. If she's no longer with us, as certainly appears to be the case, we want her to have the dignity of a respectful resting place.

However, we also need to remember that if she is no longer with us, "she" is not out there somewhere in the woods, water, etc. Just her body is. If the worst has happened, then Caylee's spirit has been set free.

Free as a butterfly.

According to a previous post, ConcernedaboutCaylee, it is you as well who is talking from both sides of your mouth. Here is an earlier posting of yours:

ConcernedaboutCaylee says

Thank God, she’s back in jail to stay and hopefully for life or until she gets the death penalty. She shouldn’t be home taking hot baths and painting her nails and getting on the computer and phone and intimidating witnesses. Cindy can do that on her own.

I was just thinking that of course Casey is not worried. Her parents have lied for her, covered up for her and bailed her out all her life. Now she believes they and her big strong attorney will get her out so why should she worry. All she has to do is keep her mouth shut and play the innocent role and mommy, daddy, brother and attorney will fight for her.

Everyone benefits from these high profile cases, even the police start writing books and crime TV has another addition to to quench the American's thirst for blood and crime TV. However, justice is never served by not actually finding out what really happened and I can't help but think that the media that is outside the Anthony's home is trying to prevent that scenario.

Just listen to them and analyze the questions they ask...they are apparently not thinking on their own!

Reasonablevoice, as to your comment that being narrow minded doesn't help Caylee's case or their local community.

It isn't up to us to solve the case. That's the police's job and they are much more qualified, experienced and capable than we are.

Whether we are narrow minded or not isn't going to affect the case or the community. The state attorney is going to take all of the evidence and present it to a jury. A jury will make the decision based on the evidence - forensics and circumstantial.

We can speculate all we want about what happened but frankly I think it's a waste of time.

Since the case began, I looked at it as if I was a juror going over the evidence and making up my mind based on the evidence not some wild speculation I made up in my head.

Reasonable Voice- a bit confusing but it is possible that Padilla has said both. But make no mistake about it, the lawyer was not silent in this process. It serves him and his client the most to get her out of jail to work on his clients DEFENSE and to keep her from "cracking under pressure" in jail. The fact is that these people involved- Cindy, Baez, Padilla, etc. are all just talking out of both sides of their mouths. Either way, my point was that the Lawyer will benefit and to agree with the point that concerned wrote regarding a defense lawyer.

Also,I understand those of you that feel bad for the family and I did as well at first learning of the case. This is life, there is good & evil. When we hear or read these type of stories our first instinct is to show compassion, but there are people that would kill their child because they see them as a burden or even cover up an accident because they know they would lose their freedom. This is truely a case that has touched us all, but see the truth in front of you… The parents know Caylee is gone and Casey will likely get the death penalty if convicted- FL does not care if you are a female- Murder is Murder, they are trying to keep up the “image” of help us find our granddaughter, knowing that it is all they have left. The father is a retired police, they know how this how process works.

Jacabat, your assumption only impedes any other options available. For example, were others involved...doing drugs, leaving dangerous chemicals unlocked, is a sex ring among the clan of "so called friends" or is there a kidnapping ring that likes to plant evidence to toy with the police at large? To be narrow minded doesn't help Caylee's case nor does it help their local community.

Dak, did you find the video of which I spoke of the cleaning fluid? I think it was the one where she was putting up no trespassing signs.

I believe Caylee is dead, no doubt about it. I have believed this from the very beginning, when I first saw the news on her disappearance. Her mother Casey is a very sick individual. I believe Casey became enraptured with her new boyfriend, wanted to spend countless hours with him, and Caylee was in the way. Also compounding the situation was her mother Cindy telling her it was time to "move out". Cindy herself stated this on the Nancy Grace show. I believe all this came together in Casey's head and lead her to drastic measures.

Unfortunately, the person who has suffered from this sick individual is her own daughter. Karma is a bitch, and Casey will get hers. She will be stuck in prison the rest of her life, or go to the gas chamber.

It's a very sad situation, I pray for Caylee every night, that if she's in heaven, she will finally have peace.

I think what's great about Casey being in jail is that she is finally getting the consequences for her bad behavior. That's something George and Cindy never gave her.

The police arrested her for lying to them and refusing to help them find her missing toddler.

Then her friend Amy pressed charges on her for stealing $700 from her and she was arrested again.

Her bond was revoked when she promised to help find Caylee and instead played on her computer, had baths and did whatever she wanted.

Finally, she is in jail where she belongs.

Hopefully she will soon be charged with homicide for Caylee's death.

Jose, Cindy and George will keep enabling her because that's what they do. But I hope no one else feels sorry for her and bails her out.

The only way we are going to get justice for Caylee and all of the other victims of Casey is to make her pay for her crimes.

Trace, I agree with the last sentence; however, it was Padilla who said himself that it was a friend of his from New York who called him and suggested he get involved in this case. I'm certain Baez welcomed any free security and the chance to get Casey alone in his office but that doesn't make him guilty of 'roping Padilla in.'

Dak-Padilla was contacted by the Lawyer and the communication from the lawyer was that Casey would help Padilla find the child. The lawyer contacted this high profile bounty hunter and pulled him into this. This is fact. Also, Baez is the one whom asked for the limited immunity deal and then said on TV that he had not heard of such a deal. Concerned is exactly right regarding the Defense Attorney's role. It is just that the integrity of the profession has been change with high $$$, high profile cases. Yes, I know Baez is not getting paid currently, but there are book deals and movie rights and interviews that will come to him based on his involvement in this high profile case- win or lose and if it is win- he has hit the mother load! disgusting but true, the loss of this child does create "flies, maggots & parasites".

Cindy Anthony stated yesterday that the Tenn. report wasn't accurate and the smell was a combination of trash, i.e. garbage that was tossed at the tow yard and cleaning food...and yes, the infamous pizza

What type of cleaning fluid was it? Was it household cleaning fluid, or was it something like carburetor cleaning fluid, which would seem logical since she ran out of gas often I am sure that trash was sucked from the bottom of the gas tank and clogged the filter making the car difficult to start. Perhaps a friend helped her to start the car. Or, just maybe, she didn't actually run out of gas as she thought she had.
