Well one is male and one is female, one was a NFL star, the other a star at the local disco’s. Both have suffered a great loss. And both seem to have a little issue telling the truth? In the case of OJ being innocent, my answer is a big fat NO, but he had enough really stupid people (Cato), enough scientific wiz kids, enough dumb cops like Fuhrman and Vannadder, and who can forget the Dream Team of lawyers, “If the glove doesn’t fit, you must acquit”, Johnny Cochran entreated us.
Unless you have an IQ that is smaller than your hat size, OJ was guilty of a double murder, I believe he holds the NFL record for ‘Most people killed in a single day’. Alas the Dream Team managed to assemble a jury who had the combined IQ of a gnat. As a result OJ walked.
So lets talk about Casey Anthony, the evidence is mounting up, if she didn’t do the deed she certainly knows who did. But the Anthony family are nothing if not close knit. They all seem to prefer fiction to fact. On the odd occasion that a fact accidentally slips out from their Teflon lips they are quick to retract it. Cindy made the 911 call about the horrible smell in Casey’s car “It smells like a dead body”. She was quick to retract this by telling us that it was just a rotting pizza. The latest re-invention is that maybe someone put a dead body in the trunk after the car had been towed. Give me a break, I may have fell off a turnip truck, but it wasn’t last night!
Casey has not yet assembled her ‘Dream Team’, but there has to be someone footing the bill. Why would the Padilla family post a bond for $500,000? They claim they are not being paid! Well, this goes back to the turnip truck comment. Someone is paying, but who is it? I keep my ear’s and eyes open, often the answer is found in what people and organizations don’t say. There is one news org that is being very quiet, it is also the only org that seems to be giving this story very minimal coverage, yet they were also the only folks that got inside Padilla’s traveling circus for an exclusive.
News is a strange thing, if you are on the production side, you want to keep it fresh and keep it coming. This week was taken up by the Democratic love fest in Denver, next week the focus is on the Republicans, I can only hope that the White House has wheelchair access! But what about the week after? Why did Leonard Padilla flip flop on the bail bond?
In my mind, they won’t sling her back in the slammer till September 5th, you have to keep the news rolling. The good news is, she will be heading back to jail.
So who is bankrolling this misadventure? I have my theory, whats yours?
Oh. and if you want a hot tip about OJ Simpson, his trial for armed robbery starts on the 8th of September. I have friends in low places, and rumor has it there is going to be some ‘fun’ press releases next week! I would love to tell you, but I am sworn to secrecy.

This guy Benevides must have heard the 911 tape “it smells like a damn dead body in the car.”
So, why would he use HIS company, a CAR rental company, to finance a reward for a child that may have died in a CAR? That can’t be good for business.
I also have to wonder about that charity without the 501 (c) 3 charity status. Have all of the donations been accounted for? Or is that money paying for the “no trespassing” signs on the Anthony’s lawn?

Simon didn’t read Vincent Bugliosi’s book. O.J.’s aquittal had more to do with a long sequence of unbelievably stupid “mistakes” made by the judge and prosecutors and evidently orchestrated by Gil Garcetti, than with the demonstrated low I.Q.s of the jury. In other words, somebody decided that O.J. should walk rather than have L.A. endure another riot.
Conspiracy Believer - yes there are lots theories about why OJ walked, and the riot one is right up there. I was working in that area at the time, and certainly we were expecting a backlash regardless of the outcome,

You know, and I’ve been saying it for awhile now…Casey Anthony is the latest O.J. and Lizzie Borden…stepping up to the plate as the first person of this sort in the new millenium.
Even if she walks, she is now and forever shall be a social pariah. It might be a fitting punishment that she NOT be imprisoned.
I say this because she’s unlikely to kill again…unless she has more kids.
If she’s imprisoned, and gets the death penalty, she’ll be sheltered from the violence she’d suffer at the hands of other inmates and never have to watch her back from day to day.
And it would be years, perhaps decades of this special treatment. She might never be executed, and this will cost the taxpayers a fortune keeping her there. I say that’s too good for her.
If she’s in general pop, she’ll be scared to death every second. I like that. But the fact that she can’t be partying, shopping, etc is specifically something she is prevented from doing. The halt to her precious lifestyle is forced on her. So she will be indifferent to it.
If she goes free….well, no one will trust her. NO one will hire her. NO one will be seen with her. The grandstanding mob outside her home last night is just the start of what she can expect. I’m not saying it’s right, but that’s her reality. She will face taunting, jeers and threats every day of her life. Going to a club or shopping will have to be terminated because she is socially unaccepted nationwide. If not world wide.
I think the permanent societal shunning she will receive is THE worst punishment you could inflict on this particular person. She better cling to the book/movie deals she’ll inevetively get, and hope for bookings on the ‘Surreal House’. Because that’s as good as it’ll ever get for her. And that’s pretty lousy.
As a mother of 6 I can’t possibly imagine taking the life of one of my children. It is possible that it was in fact an accident and Casey is trying to cover it up. However, this was her precious child, how could she not want to give her child a proper burial? And,if it really was an accident, why cover it up? If you have nothing to hide then you admit the truth.
The people in her camp, from her parents to Padilla are as guilty as she is. They are helping her to continue with the “I don’t know where Caylee is” act. They all deserve to be punished just as much as Casey does.
IMHO her mother is as much a liar as she is. Her retractions and subsequent replacement explanations are ludicrous. Her father has shown on several occassions that he has violent tendencies. The fruit never falls far from the tree. Perhaps, Caylee was injured during a violent outburst by Casey.
I agree with zebragnome that Casey serving a life sentence or even the death penalty would not be just for all the reasons zebragnome stated. It would be far better for her to be in the general population. But,I don’t think it will ever get that far. I believe that Simon is correct in that something smells really bad with this case. No pun intended. The Susan Smith, Andrea Yates, etc cases were not THIS bizarre.
About Padilla: Has anyone else heard that he has a new bounty hunter reality show? From what I understand, there has only been one episode aired so far… There would be his reason for digging to get in to this.
Also, as ludicrous as it sounds… what if no one can explain the whole Zani the Nanny thing (Casey having somewhat of matching info for Zanaida ie name, Sawgrass, etc.) because she was real? Perhaps not known by the family for as long as she said? What if she was ashamed that she didn’t know more about her own babysitter & the lady really took the baby to Mexico or somewhere? I know Casey is a pathological liar and certainly a sociopath (as well her parents probably are too)… but what if?

My guess is that Casey left Caylee in the car while she partied. She probably freaked when she found her dead. I think she they went into cya mode, she has apparently never been held accountable for any of ther behavior so she probably figured that would happen in this case too. I cannot imagine burying your own child, moving her is inconceivable to me. I read somewhere that she had said that her parents would never forgive her if something happened to Caylee. Again I think she decided to make up this story to cover up the accident so as not to have to deal with her parents. I can’t imagine what The Anthony’s are thinking with the DNA results. I am sure they still want to hold out hope, but it has to be rapidly fading. Does anyone know what happened when Casey and Jessie ended their engagement? What was the reason?
This story has completely fascinated me, I have been watching the video clips, I read the court releases, Casey Anthony is a complete and full sociopath, no concern, no emotion and absolutely no guilt, if you listen to the jail phone conversations, her mother says “who’s fault is it” you hear Casey say, “its not my fault”.
If Casey “accidentally” did something to her child there would be remorse, even borderline sociopaths have a sliver of remorse, there is not one.
Not one ounce of remorse if in fact her story is true, wouldn’t she feel guilty for her inexcusable behavior which led to the “kidnapping” by this Zany woman? Pictures have come out with her dirty dancing with a woman taken after Caylee went missing. going away on a weekend trip to the beach with her boyfriend again AFTER her daughter went missing, going to nightclubs AFTER her daughter went missing, her mother finding her when she told her she would be in another state AFTER her daughter went missing!!, Taking the police on a wild goose chase when they were trying to help.
Now people need to take it easy on her family, that is there daughter, Kaylee is basically her grandmother’s daughter since Cindy seems to be the prime caregiver to Caylee, imagine what they are going thru, how hard can it be for Cindy Anthony. She does not want to accept other possibilities, she wants to believe that child is ok, and don’t we all? as long as she believes this then she has hope and hope is what is probably keeping her on her feet. Cindy Anthony is obviously an enabler. Apparently she and George have raised Casey to believe the whole world revolves around her in a way that she does not have to accept responsibility for her irrational self centered behavior. Casey inevitably ends up in the criminal justice system in a situation in which her parents are unable to “rescue” her. Someone with Casey’s personality was obviously raised in an enviroment of dysfunction that supported her particular brand of insanity. Of course the biggest loser her is Caylee. I know that Cindy Anthony has to be in pain. However her denial borders on delusion as she plays victim to the media, law enforcement, search agencies, etc. Her ability to “spin” things for her own benefit has a similiar flavor to Casey’s behavior from the beginning.
The unreality nature of the whole family’s behavior is alarming. Where is Dr. Phil when you need him???
Having said that I know as parents most of us do the best we can and make mistakes. How many of us know how we would react in Cindy Anthony’s position. Her sanity has to be hanging on by threads at this point. I for one would certainly never want to walk in her shoes. So for today I will give her a break and pray for peace for the family. My theory: she’s a meth user!
I, for one, am fully convinced that my theory ties up all the loose ends. I believe that the drug test they did on Casey in jail will confirm she was a user, and the chemicals found in the trunk were a byproduct of that usage. This also explains why Casey is so delusional, and has large gaps in her memory. This explains why friends say Caylee was so calm in normally traumatic situations. Why Caylee was so quick to talk to strangers, especially guys. Why Casey went clubbing after the death of her daughter, and why it was so important in her life to party. This explains the use of large amounts of unaccounted for money. This even explains why Casey spent checks from Amy;s account at 3 different grocery stores. Why on earth would you need to go to the grocery store so often?! My theory also explains why Cindy and George are acting like retards (because they are embarrassed that their daughter is a meth addict, especially George being X LE). This also explains the history of short relationships with people, and the “out of the blue” phone calls to former friends inviting them to party (for resources to gain meth). BTW not all meth users have bad teeth right away, it does take some time, even years depending on the hereditary factors. I also think this explains why Casey shows no concern for her daughter, because all she can think about is getting high.

Padilla said that officials ruled it was Caylee’s hair just by a process of elimination because the hair had a death ring around it and they know Casey is alive. The fact that the DNA is identical has something to do with who the father is, Padilla said.
“Would the DNA from a child resulting from a union from Lee and Casey have basically the same characteristics? Making the preliminary DNA check not definitive as to who the hair samples are from,” he said.
Padilla’s statements come at a time when police have filed more charges against Casey Anthony, who has already been arrested twice. Officials charged Casey Wednesday with two counts of uttering a forged check, two counts of petty theft and two counts of fraudulent use of personal identification.
I’ve had this weird hunch from the start that the family is protecting Casey so much because they have something pretty big to keep under wraps that has nothing to do with Caylee’s disappearance, but may be snagging up the case. I think it may all come out in the DNA. I hope I’m wrong, but it MIGHT explain why the whole family is babying Casey and not outraged that she will not tell the truth about what happened to Caylee. I’m not saying she murdered Caylee, but she does damn well know what happened to her and where to look to find her. So how come she’s not saying the truth? Why does the family seem more interested in protecting Casey than demanding Caylee back? Why do they keep spinning the truth, making up wild theories about evidence? Casey was home for awhile, why did her mother not demand the truth from her during that time? There is something so up with this family. They don’t behave normally.
You know the absolute irony of this thing is that should Anthony have admitted it was an accident-she lost her rag, head, ect., She didnt mean it-but something really bad happened-and she didnt know what to do-she panicked, hid Caylee’s body, and then just went about pretending like everything was normal-she had no plan,it just happened-and as time went on, she did not know how to come clean, ect., I consider that most each & everyone of us, would see that this is a tragedy, I think we could even extend some sympathy to this young woman-certainly i do not think we would opine her as this vile despicable, excuse for a mother as we currently perceive her to be.

I wondered too about whether the chloroform could possibly be related to meth. I also had the same thoughts as mentioned above in another post as to why all the grocery trips. Casey can’t be 100 pounds. Cindy was wanting to take custody of Caylee and I wonder exactly what Casey was doing that made her think she would be the better guardian. I can’t help but believe there are drugs involved somewhere along the line.
I too think the family is just odd, and it’s real interesting they turned down a lie detector test and hired a high profile defense attorney. Nancy Grace had asked why they would do this, and I was thinking that I would hire a lawyer too if I were them. It was Cindy’s car the chloroform and supposed dead body was in. It was Cindy who claimed the car smelled like a dead body and still washed clothes that were in the car and evidence. Her husband was a cop, she a nurse, and it seems she would have known better than to do that no matter how upset she was. It was Cindy’s property that the dogs hit on. It was Cindy’s home where the computer with chloroform searches was found. Cindy did wait a whole month to contact police after asking several times to speak with Caylee and hearing all the excuses. Sure, I’d be hiring a lawyer too. The thought crossed my mind as to whether Casey is actually protecting one or both parents by not speaking.
This is one of the most frustrating cases I’ve followed since OJ. I really do think the family knows and has known much more than anyone knows. Interesting that the brother is constantly in touch with the police but seldom seen on TV commenting or being followed like the rest. Thought crossed my mind whether he might have been involved somehow too. This family is hiding a lot. I hope we find out soon what really happened, and I really, really hope this child or child’s remains are found so she can have the decent burial she deserves.

Where is all this “having the exact same DNA” coming from? Two people can’t have the same DNA unless they are identical twins. Everyone’s DNA is unique. Anyone know why the boyfriend’s car repair ticket was included in the discovery documents? Tony’s car was towed for repair the last week of June. What repairs were done? An accident? or motor trouble? Said his father paid for the repairs by phone via credit card. It was before his trip to NJ.
Take the news cam and photographers away from the Anthonys’ home, all those people would go home. Sad what some people will do to see themselves on TV. Looks like the protestors are inciting a riot and Casey, now with counsel, isn’t going to say a word. Casey could volunteer to go back to jail? save her family from all of it? Probably not, after all, that would involve thinking of others. Got to admire them sticking by their child in a very difficult situation. Has to be hard. I really can’t believe this entire thing. I have been following this since I first saw it on the news. For some reason I was unable to forget this case and daily check for new details. I have been trying to develop my own theory like everyone else.
My first question was if there is no nanny then where did she leave Caylee while she was partying and sleeping over guys houses? It is obvious now that she was leaving her in the car. Having children of my own I know that neither of my kids would sit alone in a car for very long. Eventually they would get out! She had to have drugged her.
I believe that little Caylee passed from being over dosed with drugs so she could leave her in the car or from heat. I think that eventually Casey dumped her in the dumpster next to where they found her abandoned car! She must of checked into when they would empty the dumpster and the night before she parked there and waited till it was clear to do this, then left the car. Does anyone know did they search the dump? I just find it to convenient that her car was found next to a dumpster.
I really believe the family knows way more than they let on and at this point are trying to cover for her. I understand family sticking together but I would be devastated and by no means would defend her or cover for her.

First Casey is not a child. She is a 22 year old adult who has stolen from her grand parents, ran up her parents credit cards without permission, lied to her parents that she had a job but didn’t, stole $700 checks from her girlfriend, lied to police, never called the police when her daughter went missing, and is probably responsible for Caylees death etc etc. If that was my daughter she would have been booted out long ago to pay her own way and make whatever life decisions she could make. Too many bleeding hearts like you that want to wipe up the mess their adult children make. I raised my children to be responsible adults, I didn’t raise my children to be children the rest of their lives like the Anthonys have done with their daughter. Casey is keeping this dirty little secret from her parents while she enjoys the warm bed and food they feed her. The Anthonys need to perform a lot of tough love on this kid. I agree with CarolinaGirl. I have always thought what if CINDY was the one that lost Caylee or that some accident happened that SHE is covering up. Then, she could be using her own daughter as a cover, knowing how she lies, partys, etc. It’s no secret that Cindy wanted Caylee, and that the two of them (Mom and Daughter) were at each other’s juglar all the time. For one, I don’t understand why Cindy would not have ever bothered to meet the so called “Zenaida”. After all the times Casey supposedly had her babysit her?? Don’t add up to me. I would DEMAND to know who Casey was leaving her with, if I had to follow her and meet her myself.
Thats just one of many mysterys with this case. What keeps ringing in my mind, was when Casey said in the one interview…I saw your little cameo’s today…and then went on to say “What did you mean you didn’t know what MY involvement in this was”? Almost as if to say, YOU are the one that did this and now your blaming me? Perhaps Cindy and George gave Caylee to someone to take out of state for awhile, to teach Casey a lesson, and something tragic happened in the process? Then they tell Casey that she needs to do this FOR her/thier sake, until they can get her back safely? George did say once on tv that he KNEW they were being watched by the kidnappers?? We need to pray she is found one way or another, so she can rest in peace. This case breaks my heart, if it were one of my Grandchildren, I would be in a coma from fear and worry. Btw…I read on another blog that Chloroform is an excellent thing to use to clean up DNA evidence…it’s non flammable and a good solvent. Interesting, since Cindy is a nurse, and that was found on a computer taken from her home as being “researched”..Hmmm. She did tamper with other evidence, by washing things that were in that car with a decomposing body. I guess thats why they aren’t taking a lie detector test, as well as hiring a high profile criminal attorney. Interesting..!

At this point is obvious we will never learn from Casey what happened to her daughter. She is just like Scott Peterson. His family supports him and believes someone did the killing. Cindy and George Anthony seem to be heading down the same path. Hopefully the police will piece together enough circumstantial evidence to put her away for life.
The similarity between OJ and Casey will be obvious when another incompetant judge and jury acquit Casey for lack of evidence. This circumstantial evidence overload we’ve all seen won’t hold up in court. Everyone knows she’s done something unforgiveable with her daughter… it’s blatantly obvious… but it won’t hold in court.

According to my source in the FBI they have evidence that Casey had used both chloroform & Xanax to drug Caylee, also that according to evidence Caylee had been in the trunk for 11 days, this according to the CSI test results done on the trunk.
The also have evidence that Caylee was at at least 2 drug & sex parties, and had been knocked out on drugs.
Traces of BOTH Chloroform & Xanax were discovered in the trunk of the car in the body fluids tested.
ALSO Casey had ask jesse grund through text messages about Xanax, street name Zanny.
They also have some as he called them Shocking photos.
They want the Corpse because hair would tell the levels of the drug in the baby.
They also think she did dump the body in a
“NEARBY SWAMPY AREA INFESTED WITH ALLIGATORS”
And that MURDER charges are definitely next to come soon
I am not going to swear but I think the photos they have may be of the parties he told me about where they know Caylee was present and knocked out with drugs.
He described them as drug & sex orgies.
We have Caylee visiting her great gr-father on the 15th last date proven alive.
By doing the simple math we no have her placing the body in the trunk on the 17th.
The CSI test show the varied levels of decomp the trunk was exposed to as 11 days.
So we know the car was towed on the 27th and the body was removed at that time.
So she dumped the body during those early am hours of the 27th, since it was in the lot at 7am when the worker first came in.
So, was she tying to bury her then, and decided against it or was she digging her up and moving her?
I am leaning toward she was going to bury her and it was to much work for her sorry ass so she put her in the trunk and drove around with her body for 11 days.
The hair samples in the trunk were small, they have enough to prove the dosing.
he said the hair in the truck did confirm it was from a dead body, and did test positive for the 2 substances,
And was Caylees.
They really want to find the corpse, because more extensive testing could be done,
but have grave doubts in ever doing so because of where they believe she disposed of the body.
He also explained that they determined the time frame of 11 days from the CSI test done on the hair & body fluids.
In answer to the person who ask why he would talk to me, because we know each other from years ago.
Is this information factual? I have no clue. It’s been making the rounds on a few of the online ’sleuth’ websites focusing on the case and I thought you might find it interesting. Thoughts?
Just a thought… When Casey was “at work” maybe she’d been prostituting or into porn or something of that nature and actually did take Caylee with her to “work” and something really bad took place with someone else that she knows and they took Caylee so Casey would keep her mouth shut. Casey seemed to pull the disappearing act a good bit with her family and friends…you know, not getting in touch with her friends for several days then telling them that she had to work a late shift…see what i’m talking about? Maybe the dead body in the trunk was someone else she was to get rid of and Caylee was being “held” to make sure Casey did not make any mistakes to get them caught..
I hope the whole evil Anthony freak show of a family (George, Lee, and big-mouthed psycho Cindy)end up prosecuted for destroying evidence, lying etc. misleading, and cover ups of a murder after they testify in Casey’s trial. I think law enforcement needs people to know lying, covering up, and interferring with investigations is illegal.
Cindy and George continue with their relentless news coverage of lies and supposed reported “sightings” of Caylee. If they admitted they considered her dead that might hint they know something. Why wash clothes that were in a trunk if you didn’t suspect a crime? Why “air out” a car in an enclosed garage?
Let them rot in jail for what they’ve done and the total lack of respect they have for Caylee’s memory and the legal profession. The Anthony’s think they are above suspicion and detection and they will all get away with it. Lee and Casey high-fived each other like they had just won some insane, game show contest!!
Zanny is a street name for Xanax. I do medical transcription and hadn’t thought of that! I thought I had also heard Nancy Grace say one night that Zanny was also the name of a fairy-like person in a child’s storybook that was one of Casey’s favorites as a little girl. This all just gets sicker, but I have heard several times that there is a common shred of truth (and I mean shred) in Casey’s web of lies. She says over and over that Caylee was last seen with Zanny. There may just be a shred of sick truth to that in that in her sick mind.
I still believe she may have done a lot of meth. Meth users, especially women, detach from their children and lose any kind of nurturing abilities. They are totally emotionally detached. It’s obvious from the club pics we’ve all already seen that Casey partied hardy. I think her partying was the reason Cindy was seeking custody and thought she could get it eventually. I agree with RosaLee too in wondering why, if Cindy was so concerned about Caylee’s welfare, did she not inquire sooner about Zanny and Caylee’s whereabouts, especially knowing Casey was a compulsive liar and into drugs. Cindy and George could not have been so stupid as not to know that Casey was not working being she stole from them and everyone frequently. Her father was a detective, so you know they knew what their daughter was doing on some level.
I think all your theories are very interesting and food for thought. I too wonder exactly who this poor child, Caylee, was fathered by. I too think the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree, and you have short-tempered George, straight-faced lying Cindy, and a brother who I heard on a police tape last night who actually told how Cindy had George drive the car and he almost passed out from the smell or something like that, and then he ends his statement laughing?!! What the hell is funny at all about any of this? They are all sick puppies. They are all keeping Casey’s secrets and so the saying goes, “Secrets keep you sick!”
Gators btw have crossed my mind too! I live in the south and know how prevalent they are. Casey just seems all too confident this body won’t be found, so I think she did the deed or knows who did it and knows they did it well. George and Cindy probably helped her cover this whole thing up from the beginning, if they weren’t involved first hand, which is why they don’t appear concerned enough to join searches for her, why they are not visiting Casey in jail for fear of recorded conversations that might divulge bits of the truth, won’t take lie detector tests claiming Cindy is on meds which is ridiculous (wonder if she’s doing a little Zanny herself btw), why Casey seems to have a cavalier attitude toward Cindy when she makes statements like Rosalee mentioned about her cameos and tells the cops she is absolutely petrified of Cindy. I think they got the goods on her and/or have so much first-hand involvement that Casey is actually covering for them knowing she can’t actually be tied directly to this death with enough evidence for her to worry about. Bottom line is they are all liars and not interested in giving poor Caylee the decency of a proper funeral and the service she deserves.
Oh, lets not forget about Lee either. Yeah, the concerned uncle who won’t show his face or speak up. He probably was right in on disposing of the body with his baby sister. I’m sick of the whole family and hope to see them all in shackles in 2009.
The walls are closing in on you casey,the evidence is piling up (not in your favor)and I can’t wait til that pathelogical lying psychopath gets what is coming to her, she still only cares about what she’s going through and not what she’s putting her parents through. She shows no concern for Caylee cause she knows exactly what happened to her! When I lost my eldest daughter to cancer,I couldn’t function in ANYWAY WAY, ALL SHE WANTS NOW IS TO “SAVE FACE” BY DENYING, DENYING,DENYING AND FALSE ACCUSATIONS! Now where to run to and no where to hide..you’ve made your bed and dug your own grave
