Thursday night on CNN’s Nancy Grace Show, the Bounty Hunter that is responsible for putting Casey Anthony back on the streets, said specifically that he was going to revoke Casey’s bond and send her back to jail Saturday. Casey is out on bond but under house arrest. She is being charged for child neglect and lying to investigators which she as pleaded not guilty to.
Now Fox News is reporting that Padilla has changed his mind saying he will not revoke the bond. His decision was announced after he had a meeting with Anthony’s attorney, Jose Baez but no reason was given for his decision.
He was asked last night if there would be anything that could be said to him to change him mind and his response was absolutely not. So what happened during this meeting? What could Jose Baez have told Leonard to have changed his mind?
Padilla claimed his main concern was of Casey’s safety since there were threats made against her, her family and his team. “Yesterday, I saw Cindy Anthony talking to reporters with a hammer in her hand, that’s not good,” he said. Cindy was hammering “no trespassing” signs in her yard while reporters were asking for her reaction about the air sample tests that were released. She cursed at the reporters telling them they were wrong and her granddaughter was not dead. She has changed her story once again about the odor in the car. She is asking the public to believe now that someone else put a dead body in the trunk of the car after it was towed away to the yard. Padilla thinks Cindy Anthony is in denial. She must be somewhere other than on this earth if she expects anyone to buy that story.
When reporters asked Cindy Anthony what were her thoughts of her daughter returning to jail, she snapped at the reporter and told them that her daughter wasn’t going anywhere.
Now I am really curious at what is going on here. So many lies and so many stories are being told. One minute they tell us one thing and before we know it they change the story completely.
Padilla said on TV that either Casey needs to go back to jail or they need to beef up the security for her. A question here would be who would have to pay for that extra security. Who is paying the Bounty Hunter’s expenses? Who is paying for Baez? I know there are some generous people in the world but come on now, this is a little much for people to swallow.
Casey is meeting with Baez again today. The state prosecutors have confirmed that they have offered Casey partial immunity if she gives them the information they need to find missing Caylee. They say she has until next week to make her decision whether to accept the offer or not. So I guess we have to just wait.
I must say I didn’t care for Padilla in the beginning and I was totally against him bailing her out of jail. I did develop a soft spot when it was quite obvious that Casey and Baez clearly used Padilla just to get her out of jail by telling him she would talk to him and tell him how to find Caylee. Now I have no respect whatsoever for this man. He is just as much a liar as he says Casey is now.
There is definitely a mystery here. Myfoxorlando.com states that Padilla said that Casey was one of the best liars he has ever met and he now believes that little Casey is dead. He openly admitted that he regrets getting her out of jail, but yet now somehow Baez has done something to change his mind. Padilla admitted he now has misgivings about Casey Anthony herself. He told Fox News, “I’m not going to lie about that… There’s been a lot of consternation. She has not cooperated in one instant ad far as finding her daughter.”

As far as I’m concerned, the media needs to stop interviewing Padilla because that’s what he’s looking for. He is obviously looking to be in the limelight given his TV show. If he revoked the bond, he would no longer be in the spotlight as the crazy man who let out Casey Anthony because he’s just such a great bounty hunter that he’ll solve the mystery that an entire nation has been trying to solve. It sickens me that Cindy and George Anthony wanted to use the media to their advantage and now that the media is reporting the facts they want them to go away and to stop trespassing. Sorry, you want to live like a “celebrity” you better get used to the consequences. This whole story sickens me to my stomach and I pray every night that they find that little girl - dead or not because she deserves a proper burial, not to be where ever her sociopathic mother has left her and her “loving” grandparents are covering up. I think Cindy and George Anthony are just as guilty as Casey, they have changed their story numerous times, first they smelled a dead body, than it was a rotting pizza, then it was someone else who put a dead body in the car, then it was oh Casey knows where she is but she can’t be completely honest because of her own reasons, then it’s Casey has no idea where Caylee is. For a nurse and an ex cop, they sure are a bunch of idiots. Congratulations Mr. Padilla. If little Caylee never has a proper burial and is forever lost, I hope you never have a moment of peace and the constant burden of guilt. It is easy to see where Casey gets her insanity from…grandma is one messed up piece of work herself. Can you imagined being reared in a home with George and Cindy Anthony. It makes me want to hide in the trunk of my car until my body rots then incinerate and bury my body beneath the patio.
I dont think Cindy Anthony is crazy. I think shes a woman who is afraid of losing everything it seems as though she has lived for. Once this is over, she will more than likely have to bury a granddaughter and visit her daughter in prison for the rest of her life. I dont think anyone can begin to imagine how her & her husband feel. If defending Casey is all she has to hold onto right now, I feel sad for her.
I had doubts about Padilla when he first burst onto the media scene, coming to “rescue” Casey, but I tried to give him the benefit of the doubt, hoping that he was sincere in his concern about finding Caylee. Now it seems very clear that this has been nothing but a big publicity ploy to promote himself from the beginning. He has done absolutely nothing since he arrived in Florida except give news conferences and appear on one national TV show after another talking about doing this and doing that, and not one thing he has promised or proposed (other than getting her out of jail) has happened. Every day he comes up with something new guaranteed to grab himself more media attention, and this latest baloney, flip-flopping back and forth between expressing concern for Casey’s safety and out of the other side of his mouth calling her a lyer and a psycho is just more of the same. If she were my daughter(casey) i would find a way to make her talk. Her parents are just as guilty as she is. Casey Anthony needs to be put back in jail. The proof is coming. The public seems pretty convinced, and so am I, that she did this. Hopefully the answers will come soon and we can let Caylee rest in peace.

Just a theory, but I think the only reason Leonard Padilla “put his own money” on the table (the $50 000) is because he figured he’d make that back just by being involved. Obviously media and magazines will be calling him for interviews (cha-ching) and information and then since he obviously thinks this is going to get his show to “take off” there’d be money in that. Also, look at the appointed “spokesperson” for the family, Larry Garrison, who also represented the Holloway family and I believe ended up getting a book deal! I watched the news footage of them “protecting” Casey as she went to her attorney’s office. Her “security guard” didn’t stay beside her, he lifted the caution tape for himself only letting it stop Casey while he was still dragging her by the arm, I mean if you’re really concerned for her safety, drive her in a god damn armoured car to a secret door, get her a bullet proof vest or hey, just keep her in jail. It makes no sense to me why she has to pay visits to her attorney’s office. He can easily visit her at her house or at jail. This is clearly not a security issue. This is who can be the biggest celebrity when there is a beautiful missing little girl out there who is more than likely no longer with us and they all wanna play the games. The Orange County Sheriff’s office needs to give their heads a shake, send that expletive back to jail and into general population as jb said and maybe she would wish she had talked and told the truth and acted like a responsible individual, the need to charge at least Cindy with obstruction of justice, most blatantly for always flapping at the gums and changing her story. I’ve seen the footage at Casey’s hearing where she originally told cops she never spoke to Casey the entire time she was gone and than at the hearing turns around and says “oh no i talked to her every day”, she admitted to telling mistruths to “get the police to come to her house” because they wouldn’t have otherwise because there was nothing to come for. Puhleaze… a missing 2 year old girl whose mother neglected to report her missing for 31 days isn’t a reason for the cops to show up? In whose world? Caseys?
I just think they are getting their case together to claim insanity so Casey won’t have to be really charged because she’s not all put together.

I think Casey put Caylee in the trunk of the car with the pizza & went into a bar to party, when she came out she was so HI she forgot about her being there, probably went to some guy’s house & spent the night. poor little Caylee still in the trunk of the car. I feel I need to express my feelings about the missing of Caylee. Nancy, Casey’s mother knows what happened to her granddaughter as does her father, and you cannot tell me Casey’s mother does not know. I have 3 grandchildren which I cherish and I would move heaven and earth to find my grandchild. If the system would dig they could find little Caylee’s body. I have never in my life seen liars in my life. Anybody else would have already been arrested. Now what is this about the bounty hunter. His is trying to make a name for himself, by the way his show was cancelled.
Hearing set to discuss motions in case against Casey Anthony

TODAY’S UPDATES:
11:10 a.m.: A hearing is set Friday to discuss eight motions filed by the defense in the case against Casey Anthony — the mother of missing 3-year-old Caylee Marie.
Anthony’s attorney, Jose Baez, filed seven of the motions last Friday. Orange Circuit Court Judge Stan Strickland will hear arguments at 10:30 a.m.
Anthony is charged with child neglect, filing false information to law enforcement and a slew of check-fraud charges. The 22-year-old single mother told investigators she last saw her daughter in mid-June when she left the toddler with a babysitter named Zenaida Fernandez-Gonzalez. When Anthony returned later to pick up Caylee, the child and baby sitter were gone, Anthony has said.
Investigators don’t think the baby sitter exists.
The child was reported missing on July 15.
The motions are:
* Defense wants the state to release all records about its investigation into Zenaida Gonzalez.
* Defense wants Anthony - who is on home confinement - to be able to visit “key points of interest in the case” to help in the search for her daughter. Baez is requesting that her travels not be made public.
* Defense wants the Department of Children and Families - which did its own investigation into the child-neglect issue - to release its records.
* Defense wants to inspect the polygraph exams that have or will be given to anyone related to the case.
* Defense is asking for the flight manifest of Air Tran flight 862 that flew from Orlando to Atlanta on July 2. Someone reported seeing Caylee on the plane. (Investigators later located the child and the toddler was not Caylee.)
* Defense wants to the state to turn over results of forensic testing, including testing on traces of chloroform allegedly found in Anthony’s car and any documentation about the air sample testing done at the Body Farm at the University of Tennessee. (Authorities reported the samples showed at some point there was a decomposing body in the trunk.)
* Defense wants to be able to inspect digital forensic evidence, such as computer hard drives, cell phones, SIM cards and media cards.

ORLANDO, Fla. — Casey Anthony, the mother of missing 3-year-old Caylee, is seeking freedom from her home confinement restraints so she can have the ability to travel and search for her daughter, according to newly released court documents.
It is not known where Anthony wants to travel in the search for Caylee, who was last seen in mid-June but wasn’t reported missing until mid-July. Anthony’s family recently said that a baby sitter may have taken Caylee to Puerto Rico.
Anthony’s attorney, Jose Baez, filed several other legal motions, including having access to his client’s car so experts can photograph and test it.
Anthony’s defense team also wants law enforcement to hand over all forensic evidence regardless of whether prosecutors will use it in his client’s child neglect case. The evidence includes the chloroform allegedly found in Anthony’s car and hair and DNA discovered in the trunk.
Baez is also requesting all of the evidence from his client’s computer and cell phone records. Prosecutors have released some of that information to the defense.
He also wants to know whether any of Anthony’s friends or family members have undergone lie detector tests. If they have, Baez is seeking access to the polygraph equipment.
Baez also wants Orange County sheriff’s detectives to hand over all information about any women named Zenaida Gonzalez whom they have investigated. That’s the name of the baby sitter Anthony told detectives she left Caylee with at an Orange County apartment complex in June.
A woman with that name — who has a tie to the apartment complex — is suing Anthony for defamation.
Anthony’s attorneys also want to see an AirTran manifest for an Orlando-to-Atlanta flight from early July. Detectives investigated the flight after receiving reports of a possible Caylee sighting at Orlando International Airport. Orange County sheriff’s deputies said none of the children on the flight were Caylee.
Okay first of all even if the judge allows her to look for Caylee she cannot leave the state and that is state law. Also if they do go ahead with the child neglect and false info trial unless she is convicted she will not go back to jail. Also if the get a jury for those charges and then decide to cahrge her with murder or homicide then they will have to find a whole new set of jurors, so it would be in their best to only due one trial.

I don’t see LE letting her travel the city, much less the state or out of state—certainly not out of the country.
Baez is trying to force their hand and make them go ahead and charge her without a body. He knows they want more evidence and if he forces them to charge her now, they have less time to search.

BB wish list is going to be heard before Judge Stan Strickland on Friday at 10:30 A:M:. Some of the motions are valid, but the motion presented for M. to travel to assist in the search for her daughter was already done with the detectives on July 16th. At that time M. told lie after lie to the detectives, and in no way assisted in the search for her daughter. I believe this motion will be denied by Judge Strickland. LE asked M. to come forward with any information that would help in the search for Caylee many times. Now all the sudden she wants to joy ride around with BB, and search for Caylee. Please, give me a break!

hmmm, let’s see, she had 31 days (which of course was an incorrect count) to search for Caylee. She couldn’t find her at an empty apt at Sawgrass, Fusion, every chicken joint in town, the mall, her “fake office, Target, Winn Dixie, or any of her boyfriends’ apts. Guess she must have run out of places to look.
I can hear her now, saying to Baez (in her rambling style), “Now where did I leave her? I thought I’d left her sitting on the steps of an apt but maybe I forgot that I had taken a road trip. Maybe I left her on some steps in Texas….no, New Mexico….no, … NOW I REMEMBER!! …it was Puerto Rico, the place I wanted to go so badly that I stole from my best friend bc I didn’t work. As I said, M. had her chance in July to assist the detectives with their search for Caylee. Judge Strickland will surely take that into consideration when he makes his ruling on this motion.

pammy—so true! This may just be something Baez KNEW wasn’t going to take plac, but Casey is so antsy and bored that she is driving him crazy. Maybe he did it just to appease her and settle her hormones down for a while.

I almost had reasonable doubt when C said Little Caylee would be home for Birthday. I really thought that perhaps someone really did have the little Angel. But that was when I lost hope that Little Caylee would ever come home again.

I, too, was hoping for some elaborate “hiding the kid scenario” in the beginning, but when the forensics came back, it’s kinda hard to turn the other cheek to those findings.
Gone Baby Gone - a movie I saw recently, and I prayed that this was the case for the Anthony’s, but as the day’s go by - you start to realize - she’s gone and she wasn’t kidnapped. I recommend you guys watch it or read the summary - if you haven’t all ready.

Casey is a party girl with raging hormones.
Her plan for this summer was:
#1. Get rid of all hindrances.
#2. Creat a database of sexual partners.
#3. Create a database of party locations.
#4. Go to Puerto Rico with her friends.
#5. Snag Tony so that she would have a place to stay (after plans w/Amy fell through)
All plans for her ‘beautiful life’ — for her beautiful summer — were taken from her on July 16th. The summer is ending. There are some beautiful FL days ahead, but not anymore summer for her. She is pacing/talking/talking/pacing seeing her friends online, knowing her friends are still at Fusian, still partying, still free to go anywhere they want.
The only attention she has now is from C & G, and BB. She has tired of that. That is parental and she is a grown woman STAR!

I just can’t see the judge granting the request for M to go to “points of interest” to look for Caylee. Didn’t she say she’d been doing that for a whole month? And by the time the police were called in to help the only places she hadn’t checked were an empty apartment, an apartment house that was really an old folks’ home and her “office” at “work” at Universal. What points could she have possibly missed?
I say grant her request and when she walks out of the house hand her a shovel and scuba equipment and say “Where to?” If she doesn’t specify, take her to the most alligator and snake infested swamp and leave her there for a good while. Don’t worry,M! We’ll come looking for you - eventually!
