Is it because the majority of the public, both male and female, side with Oprah, yet cannot effectively argue in her defense? Take a look at the nearly 100% of today's "romantic comedies" and then truthfully tell me that men aren't almost always portrayed as evil, underhanded, or just plain stupid. Three years ago in the movie, "Hard Candy" championed the violent justice brought upon a male pedophile, yet just this year, the female pedophile in "The Reader" was practically glorified, and her wrong deeds justified as another of the above-mentioned "misguided souls" Gender bias is wrong. Period. However allow me to point out, by referencing popular entertainment media alone, that the feminist movement has produced a gender bias just as evil as the bias the movement pretends to fight.
