Myfoxcolorado.com is reporting tonight that a deputy with the Orange County Sheriff’s Office has been fired after he lied to investigators about a relationship he had with Casey Anthony.
A memo dated on August 20 obtained by FOX 35 in Orlando had some details of the matter involving Casey Anthony with Deputy Anthony Rusciano. “When investigators contacted Deputy Rusciano by telephone, Deputy Rusciano admitted that he had met the individual for a brief moment at a party they both attended,” wrote Chief Frank Fabrizio. “Deputy Rusciano denied ever having any further contact with that person.”
Rusciano provided inaccurate and incomplete responses after they found out that he and Casey had communicated on her computer. When confronted with this information the deputy admitted to lying. “Lying to investigators is unacceptable and reason for termination,” said Fabrizio.
No dates have been determined for when the party was or when the communication on the computer was. The deputy was fired on August 22. He was a probationary employee that had joined the force in February of 2008.
Casey Anthony has made headline news for weeks now for not reporting her daughter missing for about a month. She told authorities that she was trying to do her own search when her mother called the police to report it. She has told the law enforcement agents lie after lie. Now that it has gotten so deep in the lies no one can believe what she says anymore. She has managed to convince her parents that Caylee was kidnapped, or so they say. Who knows what is said when they are behind closed doors. Casey has appeared to the public as being a spoiled brat that knows just how to control her parents when she wants something. She also knows how to get them to bail her out of trouble when she screws things up. Now it seems she has managed to destroy the career of a deputy in her path of destruction.
The disappearance of her daughter, Caylee Anthony has captured the hearts of people across the nation. We all are still praying that Caylee will be found alive and well. God Bless you Caylee!

I am so sickened by this woman, and wish someone would do something to revoke her bond, or get her into the general population of the prison. Thus far, I’ve not seen one effort on her part to find Caylee! But then you would have to pry her off of Jose first.

Hey for some reason I have a feeling Casey will not ebd up in prison and this whole case is going to be destroyed and I’ll tell you why. The media, the cops and evryone elase needs to let this case cool down becaus eit has so much steam that they will never be able to take it to a jury trial and if they do it is going to be a disaster for Prosecuter.

I think the police should have kept the documents locked until after the trail because I think now that it is going to hurt their case for a fair trail. I would like to see them find one juror that hasn’t heard alot about this case.
And with the info now with the deputy being involved with Casey and lying, I wouldn’ be suprised if this goes to court for a mistrial.
They better better hope that what ever evidence they have is really really damaging.

What case! This whole thing could crumble…and then again, now that the lying detective is gone, Police might be able to move forward. Could be that they have known for awhile that there was a mole and had to get to the bottom of it before they could. I’m not the least bit worried about finding a jury if it ever does go to trial because regardless of the media, believe it or not, some folks can actually be fair & impartial. For now, I just want Caylee found and I want that lying b…h to tell what she knows.

Dakdude, this information is public information under the Freedom of Information Act. Most of the information is not admissable in court, the lawyers on Nancy Grace said.
What is going to convict Casey Anthony is forensic evidence. A veteran homicide cop, a registered nurse, an impound officer and two canine dogs smelled a strong scent of decomposed body so there has to be some evidence that a dead body was in the car and DNA should tell us if that dead body was Caylee.
Most of the information in the report tells the public what kind of person Casey Anthony is but most of us already knew she was a liar, a tramp and most likely a murderer.
Friends and family have said Casey Anthony was a good mother but I never believed that. I believed she either put on a good act whenever people were around or the people who said that had low standards of what a good mother is. A good mother does not take her child to adult parties. A good mother does not take her child away from her grandparents who have taken care of her since birth. A good mother does not move in with her boyfriend, party all hours and tell friends and family her daughter is at the beach and Disneyworld and then admit to police her daughter has been missing for a month and she didn’t tell a soul.
A good mother doesn’t refuse to help police or anyone else find her toddler who has been missing for 10 weeks.
Casey Anthony is a terrible mother and according to the 400 page report never wanted to be one in the first place. Casey never bonded with Caylee. Casey is a pathological liar and a sociopath and sociopaths have no conscience and no remorse for anything they do.
It is very easy for Casey to say I didn’t do it, the nanny did it because she has spent her entire life denying she did anything wrong and blaming it on someone else. And her parents have believed everything she said.
This story gets weirder and weirder everyday. I hope this case is soon cracked and wont end up another Natalie Hollaway or Jon Benet Ramsey case never being solved.
What’s shocking to me is now Leonard Padilla is changing his tune. He looks visibly shaken. He said the 400 page report and the fact that Casey shows no interest in helping him find Caylee now makes him think Caylee may be dead and Casey may have killed her.
Padilla said he was promised by her attorney that if he bailed her out he could talk to her in the presence of her attorney and help find Caylee. He said Casey refuses to talk to him or his people. He said he is still following leads and looking for Caylee dead or alive.
Mr. Padilla is worried now about getting sued over the microphone incident on youtube. That took a lot of steam out of him and now he looks like a total fool because nothing he said he woulda/coulda do about finding Caylee has come to fruition. Oh, how I wish Tony Padilla would revoke her bond!
Concerned I was talking about using it in court I am talking about corrupting the jury pool. Too much info can be just as much as no info at all. I just think this has been publisized for way too long and it is having a negative impact on the minds of the people of this country. i think if they were smart the would have just not said anything and not released all the info they have even despite of The freedom of info act.

Casey’s attorney tried to keep them from releasing it but the judge said it had to be released because of the Freedom Information Act.

Casey’s behavior has already turned most people in America against her. Who would be sympathetic with a mother who doesn’t care where her three year old is?
No because its going to be hard for the prosecution to find an impartial jury.
It’s the defense, not the prosecution that has to worry about an impartial jury. If most of the jury believes she is guilty, the prosecution won’t have any problem convincing them that she is guilty. The jury goes by the evidence. If the evidence shows she is guilty, she will be convicted.
Well It could be problem for them both because if the defense can’t find and impartial jury then the trial will be held up
Don’t worry about it, Dakdude. The prosecutor isn’t or he wouldn’t have allowed the information to get out. The prosecutor believes releasing the information will help his case.
They can find 12 people who are willing to look at the evidence and convict her on the evidence only no matter how they feel about her. Many jurors may hate the defendant and even believe he or she did it, but if the evidence doesn’t show that, they don’t find them guilty.

Scott Peterson case and most of the people in the country hated him and thought he was guilty as sin and he got the death penalty. Everybody knew about the OJ Simpson case before the trial and most people thought he was guilty. However, 12 people found him not guilty.

I agree completely.What I thought was hilarious was seeing Padilla on Nancy Grace’s show last night and now we’re hearing a new tune from him. Does he look like someone that has been hung out to dry or what!?!?! Based on his responses, it sounds like ‘maybe’ he’ll finally get on board with a search and hopefully that will help find Caylee and screw Casey.

I’m glad to see Padilla finally talking sense and telling the truth: that Casey isn’t concerned with finding Caylee and won’t even talk to him after lying to him to get her out of jail. I hope he finds Caylee’s body and testifies for the prosecution to help put her on death row.
The ungrateful little brat. I’m also glad the police released what Casey’s former friends, acquaintences, boyfriends and the tow company official told them about Casey, Cindy and George. This blows the Anthony’s cover story that their daughter is the Perfect Little Angel Who Did Nothing Wrong and they have the Perfect Little Family.
You notice that Cindy and the family spokesman and Baez have been strangely quiet since the police and Padilla have blown the whistle on their little charade that Casey is “concerned” and “helping find her daughter.”
Exactly! And I found it particularly interesting how Padilla was saying that Casey won’t talk to them now and how the deal was , “get her out….she’ll give us leads….and we’ll help find Caylee”. Now that the little B&^%ch is out she’s as happy as a clam. But I’m glad that the discovery came out becuase it really shows Casey’s true colors as well as the truths that her parents have been trying to cover up especially since she has been out.
So now I ask, when will this search and recovery mission for Caylee begin????
I also want to add that I give ALOT of credit to the investigators because had I been in that interrogation room with her I would have had to cut her. What a smart ass with her answers and trying to twist everything around.

The reason it would be hard to find a jury,, is simple due to the fact, the first questions they ask before you are put on jury duty is; Have you heard about the case ? What exactly have you heard? I think the bond needs to be revoked, Casey put in general population… If lawyers, mommy and daddy can’t get the truth…

Has Cindy Anthony left the house since Casey came home last Friday? Has Lee? I’ve seen footage of George taking Casey to see the case manager, but none of Cindy or Lee.
Well I think it’s very interesting that after the discovery was made public we have not heard ANYTHING from Cindy’s big mouth….not a peep.

I am sooooo upset about the results, but also in the same respect prepared mentally for it. I would think this would be enough to at least slap the cuffs on her again. Does anyone know if they are intending to haul her ass back to jail?
I wish somehow between pinning down the timeline of the phone calls and locations they could find the body without her help. Then for absolute certain they will go for the death penalty. As I said in another post earlier….I believe they should do like in the olden days string her up in the town square and either tar & feather her, or stone her to death….

It’s pretty obvious at this point that Casey killed Caylee. Whether by accident b/c of neglect while she partied or on purpose b/c of jealousy and it cramped her party lifestyle. She waited as long as she did before saying anything so she could think of the web she would weave with her lies. Unfortunately for her, she’s not a very good liar. I feel her mom Cindy knows what happened, and is covering for her sick, pathetic excuse of a daughter. And, if she is, shame on her, too. The results have been confirmed regarding a dead body being in the trunk of her car. I also believe the money she was stealing was somehow used as a payment to disgard of Caylee’s body. My parayer’s go out to Caylee. I know she’s in a better place.

it is not hard to see why casey is the way she is, her mother has done exactly as casey, when the mother doesnt like the “caylee is dead story, she creates the caylee has been kidnapped story . when the mother reports the smell in the car ,it is a dead body but when she realizes that is going to hurt casey she says its rotting pizza. she is the driving force behind the nuttiness of this girl and the father dutifully does and thinks what the both of them tell him. what has cindy done to her daughter her whole life to make her feel so insecure and have no self respect for herself that she goes out and sleeps around with different men(4 in a months time) and has a gorgeous child but is incapable of loving that child. if you ask me cindy is the reason we have not found that child. she should be charged with obstructing the investigation!! as for casey we know she killed the child but she is not so crazy that she doesnt know right from wrong i see a defense for this forming already mark my words! she deserves the death sentence if it is proven she killed this baby ,if we dont start holding these child killers to the ultimate penalty many more children will start to disappear with fake babysitters and fake kidnappers!
This girl needs major help! I too, as a lot of teens having a child, did not anticipate on having children. Thay did not like me. I did not babysit. Not to mention I was selfish and liked “my time”. I ended up pregnant at 18. I was just thankful I had graduated HS. I had been with the same guy for 3 years and nothing. That child is now 13. My family had no faith in me bring a child in this world. I feel for her parents. My mom too was in denial about me. She thought I hung the moon. That GIRL needs too GROW UP and take the medicine. She makes me sick. Why did she want to keep her rather than give her up for adoption?? It is gross!!
This morn i saw there was chemical evidence results of the trunk, is that from air of trunk again or is that the actual dna n hair sample test results?
I really hope we see her get slapped with additional charges and her bail revoked in light of the tests results that came back. She deserves to be sitting in jail - and they should put her in with the general population, in my opinion.
As far as court goes, I don’t think this case will ever make it as far as a jury trial. There’s already reports about a deal on the table - so I think she’ll end up taking a deal and avoiding a trial altogether.
The only person I feel bad for in this whole mess is that poor, innocent little girl.

An item was listed on the contents of the car, a blue crate. Wonder if it was like a storage tote? Looks like she abandoned the car before going to the beach with Jessie Grund on the 27th and 28th. Tony was still in town until the 30th, but his car was being repaired on one of those days. With her car abadoned, she needed wheels to get anywhere…could the trip to the beach hold a clue to Caylee’s whereabouts? Very sad case. Sad there are so many other cases like this one that don’t make headline news either. People have children but certainly show they don’t know how to be parents? Some of the cases of harming children are unbelievable….where do these people come from?
I have never met a person as sick as Casey Anthony. She is almost non-human and shows absolutely no remorse for what happend to her daughter. Anyone who shows such unconcern would most likely be capable of killing her.
It is obvious that there is nothing behind her eyes. I don’t understand why her mother Cindy treats her as though she were this little glass princess. I find it so disgusting!

I am so amazed that Casey is allowed to run circles around the athorities. When most detectives grill a suspect they are usually able to make them crack! I think they are to lenient with her. Could it be because her father is an ex-cop? How convenient!! This little “LOLITA” has forged checks from a friend,stole from her parents and grandparents, dated a cop and got him fired and ruined the career and future of a women she doesn’t even know by lying about the fact that she took her daughter. I hear you Roger! Apparently she has done all of those things to her family and friends. Did anyone see the tapes on Nancy Grace where it shows Casey at the store buying all kinds of things for herself? They said that it was probably right after she killed her daughter. It looked like she was having a wonderful time now that she was free of her. I wish I could have reached through my T.V. and put my hands around her neck! After what she has done she does not deserve to ever walk the streets again. I cannot comprehend her lack of feeling toward anyone or anything. Is she so high on drugs that she is just plain numb? I am hoping soon that she will not see the light of day again. That is the sentence that she gave her poor precious little girl
I was watching this show on Tru T.V called “Haunting Evidence” and there was a Physic, a Medium, and a Para-normal Investigator. They would go to certain places and try to find people who killed other people. I couldn’t believe how right on they were. They went to Colorado to investigate the murder of JonBonet’ Ramsey. They were able to tell the police some things that only the detectives would have known. It was so eerie.
I wonder if the authorities in the Anthony case would think of doing something like that?
I think it would help them tremendously.
