The story surrounding the missing three year old Caylee Anthony gets more confusing by the minute. I know that the convoluted and knotted tale will eventually unfold. And I for one am still willing to bet a buck that Casey knows way more than she is fessing up to.
While the Anthony family are putting up a solid wall of silence and stupidity, there are aspects that can be deduced from what they do and don’t, do and say.
Few people work for free, so lets examine the possible motives and reasons why these seemingly unconnected people have a connection.
Lets start with Geraldo Rivera, he is a well known, though slightly soiled TV figure. Could this case be his big come back? After all Fox News seem to be the only folks that have been inside Leonard Padilla’s ‘High Tech’ RV that is parked outside the senior Anthony’s house. Oh, and apparently Padilla’s idea of high tech is a Taser (standard Dog Chapman stuff), a Laptop computer, and a printer! This is not high tech in my opinion. Geraldo himself has a pretty checkered background, he oscillates from popular to unknown faster than a Motel 6 vibrating bed. He went from hot to zero with an Iraq story that threatened troop safety.
Geraldo didn’t want to sling burgers at the local fast food outlet so he reinvented himself on Fox.
It is interesting that Fox News seem to have dropped the Caylee story like a hot brick, my cynical nature screams, exclusive! I mentioned in an earlier article that Padilla had to have an angle, but I could not see National Geographic being the likely customer. Bounty Hunters work for money, not largess. Right now he, and his money men have $500k wrapped up in the bond to spring Casey, plus they their ‘High Tech’ RV and who knows how many people all ensconced in Florida. This costs money. I’ll bet the Starbucks bill alone would make us mere mortals weep. If Padilla was to score a marketing deal with a perfume manufacturer I have no doubt that they would call it ‘Sleaze.’
That brings us to Jose Baez. Who is he? What can he bring to the table? When it comes to law suits Jose seems to like the ‘bottom feeding’ fish. His resume is splendid. A short excerpt reveals all:
Baez represented Kissimmee Mayor George Gant at trial in 2007.
Gant got booted from office and was forced to resign as a doctor when two patients accused him of touching them in a sexual way during gynecology exams.
The prosecution’s main witness refused to testify against Gant and the former mayor was cleared of sex charges.
One has to wonder why the main witness refused to testify?
I would say something acerbic about Casey, but it has all been said before. Her and her family represent all that is wrong with todays society. At best, she is the worlds worst mother, who else would wait a month to report that her then 2 year old daughter was missing? My wife would report me missing if I went to the bar for a couple of hours!
Her actions since being bailed out by Padilla are telling. She wanted a hot shower and a Pizza. My wife summed it up nicely, “If it was my child I would not being calling Dominoes, and it would not matter about the hot shower, I’d be searching for my child”.
My take on this nonsense is that someone is set to make money at the cost of a young life.
If indeed it is Fox that is bankrolling this story, they need to really rethink their news policy.
Maybe Casey did not kill her young daughter Caylee, but she is certainly still guilty of extreme stupidity. I have yet to hear Casey say that she would be willing to take a polygraph.

You forgot one more “connection” in the Anthony family circus. Larry Garrison, the “family spokesman”. One day he says that Casey is “talking to her parents” and then the next, he is saying that Casey is only talking to her lawyers. Which is it?
She NEEDS to talk to SOMEONE and she needs to finally tell the TRUTH so that Caylee can be found.
Just maybe the father of Caylee is someone we would never expect. Either way, the Anthony’s are bound to make a lot of money on this circus, and unfortunately, the local press is doing a mediocre job in investigating. It’s humorous to hear a reporter state the exact same thing the Anthony’s say about the father. No one looks for facts, no one has some curiousity as to the validity of their many stories. Just regurgitate the Anthony’s baloney, and that’s what we call “reporters”. Even Greta Van Susteran is repeating the same old stuff. I thought Mark Fuhrman could do a thorough investigation as to who the real father is, and the background information on George and Cindy Anthony. Somewhere in this, is the dysfunction of this seemingly normal family. Casey is a detached and pathological liar, but when and why did this child go so wrong?
The father of the child is alive according to some and it’s sad when a family still grieving over the loss of there soon has a glimmer of hope to continue his legacy .
More people are hurt in this than anyone could imagine..
007 I agree with you. Just because Caylee conviently said the biological father died in a car accident last year might not be the truth, after all everything she says is a lie. There could be a connection.
George and Cindy said that Casey left with Caylee to bond with the child. What? Casey had no job and no money. How was she to support herself? I believe her parents had enough of her and booted her out.
Story was that George Anthony was going to leave Cindy back in 2005…..thats when Caylee was born. Maybe George couldn’t deal with his daughters lifestyle and fights arose between himself and Cindy.
Caseys brothers name is Lee. Babies name is Cay-Lee…..another interesting twist.
Not only does Casey know a lot more but so do her parents and they are protecting her to keep the family from rapid collapse. Its a sad story with a little girl that would have been better off from the start with a loving family.
First of all, supposedly, Caylee’s father’s side did not know anything about Caylee. Somewhere in the beginning of this all coming out, his family was going to hire an attorney.All I know is that if Casey did not hurt this little girl, she would do ANYTHING and EVERYTHING in her power, regardless risking her own life or her other family members.Any mother of a child would NO WAY in HELL keep “composed” as she stated.I would be going CRAZY sitting in jail, crying hysterically. “It’s ok Casey, I’m sure your attorney and the judge would have understood if you could not keep your “so-called composure.” She needs to just come out and tell where the child is, so she can at least have a descent burial. If in fact, Casey did kill her OR by accident? I hope she rots in jail with Susan Smith!!!!!
The whole family are sick freaks. I read today they are sick of the publicity!! Well here’s a thought, get your piece of crap daughter to fess up and it will all go away. I find it incredibly sad that the whole world cares more about the well being of this little girl than her own family. They are now begging for money and George and Lee are looking for FREE assistances to help with the search. Give me a break why should anyone do anything for a family that refuses to help themselves. As a mother and grandmother I can promise you that if one of my own went missing I would act alot more like Mark Klauss than anyone in the Anthony Family. I realy think that Casey sold her doughter and the only reason why she took a month to report her missing, was because she was expecting to receive the money, when she didn’t see any money, she call the police.

I agree with you completely but oh by the way, the Anthony’s didn’t order the pizza. It was sent by one of the users over at the Dreamin’ Demon with a note on the top that said something like “love and decomp(osition) from the Dreamin Demon”.

Could this all be a ploy gone wrong on Casey’s part? They say she racked up thousands of dollars in credit card bills in her parents name, and she had no income and she was stealing gas. Maybe she thought she could go to her parents with this story they would offer up some reward money and that would be that. Maybe she never thought it through. Could be a plot with her and a friend just trying to get some cash, but her mom spoiled it by going to the police even though Casey warned her daughters life would be in danger if they did? Just a thought.

This pathological lying B*itch just might get away with murder. I was raised by a homicide detective, and grew up looking beneath the surface, questioning everything.
I do not believe the Anthony’s are involved in any way, but I find it hard to believe her Father (an ex-cop) is not suspicious of his daughter and her constant stream of lies. If she has a history of lying, her behavior is no surprise to them. But either they are rediculously in denial…or the Father (who cannot possibly as an ex-cop, NOT be suspicious) is covering for her now that after the fact, it doesn’t look good. Yes being a liar does not make you a murderer… (and I absolutely cannot stand liars) but, Lie in the nightclubs about the job you have… Lie what your phone number is if you don’t like the guy who is buying your drink…Lie your name if you have your eye on someone for a consensual one night stand and want no strings attached….but lying to your boyfirend (and not tell him your child is missing) an omission of fact is a lie! I do not like the fact that her cell records show her to be near the airport….where there are nothing but desolate areas, woodsy areas and bodies of water. I am here in Orlando, and on the turnpike one of the scariest things, is to have a problem with your car and to need to pull over, or to get pulled over by a cop. All over florida at the side of the highways are often ravines and alligators. Tourists have pulled over from long drives, to walk their dogs, to stretch their legs, and had their dogs nabbed by gators. This girl had NO reason to be near the airport area, (no trip scheduled/ not picking anyone on vacation up) and I fear that the baby was dumped in one of these desolate areas.
I feel if she used to sneak onto her parents proberty to siphon gas from their car (yet another class act move along with the $45,000 worth of debt she rang on mom’s credit card) she possibly initially buried the baby there…and then went back and moved it…dumping it in the watery area near the airport. That’s why the smell in the car.
Ihope all her lies start to unravel soon. Unfortunately if the baby was left where there is gator activity…she may never be found.
The whole family is dysfunctional and I think her whole family is on everything. The grandmother also knew this baby was missing for a month and did nothing for a month. Geraldo is friends with Baez so he doesn’t mind scratching Baez back. Geraldo is slanting the news so that he gets all the scoops from Baez and the Anthony family. Then he can brag he’s the only journalist they will trust.
I’m with you David. Why should the media care of Cindy Anthony or the family spokesman or Baez speaks with them. All that comes out of their mouths are lies and fluff to try to change the image of Casey Anthony. We all know who and what she is so nothing anyone can say can change my mind about her.
People Caylee is dead! Casey did something wrong Caylee drowned or was left in a car whatever the problem is we WILL NOT FIND a body. Why you ask…. Florida.. what’s in FLORIDA Alligators how do you hide a body have pigs or alligators eat!
Casey will be only due time for that she had been charged for what is nothing a murder charge wont fly!

I don’t know why people keep trying to figure out who Caylee’s father is. From the partying pictures of Casey there is a very good chance that she doesn’t have a clue. What I am interested in seeing is if Padilla has actually called Baez’s bluff by getting the pings from the first week of Caylee’s disappearance and is following through on that. Can he legally do that? I don’t know what they have as far as signed agreements but Baez looked like he was choking when he heard about it. What a bunch of seedy creeps. If by the Grace of God, this child is alive and is recovered, I pray she is not returned to this family. These people are so commited to covering Casey’s tracks, they cannot act in Caylee’s best interest.

You can convict someone of murder without a body in the state of Florida. If any of the evidence they have has any intergrity. It’s possible.
You can convict someone of murder without a body, but not when there is reasonable doubt. The comments on this board show that many people in this country doubt that Casey murdered Caylee. Many believe that Caylee is dead but that it was an accident and that Casey simply got rid of the body. That’s not murder.
The state has to prove Caylee is dead and that she was murdered. That is difficult to do without a body. I think they have a pretty good forensic and circumstantial case that Caylee is dead and that Casey is guilty of at the least negligent homicide.
If Casey did murder the child in a rage or to get rid of her so she can live the single lifestyle unencumbered by a child many of us want her to be punished for that. Casey’s defense will be that she is innocent and Caylee was kidnapped.
By the comments on the board, many people refuse to believe a girl as beautiful and adorable as Caylee is dead. They want to believe Caylee’s father or his family have got her, Caylee sold her or is hiding her from her parents. If one jury member believes that, the defense has reasonable doubt.
All this noise from the Anthony family and attorney that Caylee is not dead but was kidnapped is to create reasonable doubt.
I think that Casie’s brother Lee is the father of CayLEE. I believe that is cause of a lot of the secrecy.
Oh, come on. I named my children after my brother, father, mother, & self. A name is not an indication of paternity, but is an indication inherited legacy and of the high regard you have for someone else. My heart is sick for Caylee. I have no sympathy for Casey. I hope Caylee is OK somewhere, but I doubt that is the case. Something is very wrong with this picture. But, speculating that Caylee is the product of incest is only harmful to Caylee or her memory. Hasn’t her mother and family harmed fer enough? Shame on anyone who continues to hurt Caylee. Enough is enough.
I really don’t think a lot of people believe Caylee is alive, I think they WANT to believe that, because the alternative is too horrible to want to believe. But, then again It seems most people believe Casey is at the bottom of something inappropriate. Somone on this board wondered if the Anthony family reads the blogs, papers, etc concerning Caylee.
I certainly hope they do, since then they will definitely know that people outside of their little circle aren’t as ignorant as they assume. The only ignorant people in this mess are that family and that Bounty Hunter and anyone else who protects or “speaks” for them.
Casey.. if you read this, just know that we all know you are an evil person. You have wasted your life with help from your family, but that wasn’t enough for you. You killed your beautiful innocent child and can’t give her enough respect to even let her be buried properly.
God has a place for you, Ms Casey. So, take all your showers and eat all your pizza, your time is coming soon. You don’t deserve a death penalty, you deserve to live amongst murderers like yourself and be afraid every day for the rest of your life. Just as your trusting child was afraid in the last moment of her short life.
I also hope that the media sits on your front lawn from now until forever. I hope you and everyone in that house dread each day. And, when you are dragged back to prison, we will all applaud.
The only sadness in this is that a lovely child will never grow to become someone wonderful. That was stolen away from her by her own mother.

I think she knows where her daughter is and as somebody else suggested this has been fabricated by Casey from the start. This woman has seriously pathological problems. But I think the child is safe and with somebody who is tagging along playing a nasty game with Casey to cash in on this whole saga. Otherwise what mother, insane or not, would be so composed. I think she is playing off her parents for some reason and now she is playing off America. Just pray this whole thing turns out well for the wee girl.
Does anyone know why the boyfriend, Tony’s, car was towed on June 9 to be repaired? Was it not running or in an accident? The man who towed it and the tow bill/repair ticket was listed in the 400 pages. The investigator asked if the witness had ever heard of a person named Clint that Casey knew. Just curious. Hope they find this little girl.
Casey needs to go to jail for the rest of her life and let the inmates give her a dose of her own medicine. The news says to leave the grandparents alone and respect them. Why? They don’t have any respect for their granddaughter by telling lies and hiding evidence.
