My poem From Caylee to Mommy

Mommy
Why won't you tell everyone where I am?
Everybody is looking for me
but they can't find me
I'm right here where you left me mommy!

Can't you hear me mommy?
I keep calling for you
But you keep turning away
I thought you would come back and get me
but you never came
I'm still here where you put me
but I don't look the same!

Mommy why won't you tell them where I am
I'm scared, I'm all alone
Why can't I come home?
I miss my bed, and my doggies,
and grandma and pa pa too
My sandbox, and playhouse
I miss being with you too!

Mommy why did you leave me here?
What did I do?
Did I make you mad?
Did I make you sad?
Was I being bad?
I Love you mama and I don't understand!

Why won't you just tell them where I am?
You know where you left me
I saw you drive off
you didn't even look back
I prayed to Jesus cause I was so scared,
And angels came and stayed with me
and they took me to this place called "Heaven"

It's so beautiful here mama
There is angels and singing
And a man that says he is my Father
His name is Jesus
He said he loves me
And nobody will ever hurt me here

I get to run, and play
There are so many kids here, and little babies too!
But I don't see you and grandma and pa pa
I've looked everywhere for you!
I asked jesus If I could go visit you
And he said I have to wait for you
Until you die
but he said he doesn't know if you will come to Heaven

he said you may go to hell
What's hell mommy?
He said that you hurt me, and Jesus doesn't like it
When people hurt children
But he said he will forgive you
If you ask him....but he said you have to mean it!
and he said he will know if you do
because he knows peoples hearts!

I told Jesus I loved you
and he smiled at me and said "I know you do my child"
She loved you too!
But she didn't cherish you
he said you didn't protect me!

He said his heart is Weeping for you!
he said he loves you mommy
He said He loves all his children!
He said you are lying,
and you won't tell anybody
what you did to me!

He said you won't tell them where you left me!
You won't tell them what you did
he said you will get into a lot of trouble
If anyone finds out!

Just tell them mommy
Please show them where I am
So grandma and pa pa don't worry anymore
Mommy why are you saying
You left me with Zanny!
Who is Zanny mama?

I don't remember zanny
you said she was my nanny
What is a nanny mommy?
Why arn't you crying?
Don't you miss me mommy?
i miss you!

I love you so much
and wish I could come home
but Jesus said I have to stay here
Because this is where innocent children come

and Its beautiful mama
prettier than blanchard park
and many more things to do!
I get to run and play and sing
Laugh, and swim and swing!

I turned 3 here and the angels sang me Happy Birthday!
I sang with them too!
It was so beautiful mama and so loud
did you hear them sing to me?

Oh yeah mommy
there are animals here
doggies, and kitties
and horsies too
Jesus gave me my very own doggie
the very first day I came here!

He told me to take care of my doggie
and that he is my responsiblity
to love and care for him!

Mommy please tell them where you put me
and tell Jesus sorry
because if you don't I will never ever
get to see you again!

i love you
and I miss you
I will never forget you mommy
or grandma and pa pa too!

yeah, just finished NG , and have been sick to my stomach for hours since I heard about the air tests, this BS about immunity sickens me as well, although if it will lead us to knowing what happened to this baby in her last days, then I guess its better than not knowing. the family better be keeping a close eye in that home on casey, a suicide watch, because by now she has to know shes the most hated woman in america, and shes going to the slammer

A deal is on the table for Casey to tell the police where the body is. The people in Florida are ready to lynch her.

She better take a long hot shower, because she is going back into cell #14.

I want to say one more thing… I know, I know, you’re probably tired of hearing from me. But here goes;

The next time you listen to the Bounty Hunter speak, keep in mind that his story about “Casey giving Caylee to a friend” is not based on facts. The Bounty Hunter works for the defense and is strictly supporting the defense’s strategy and some of us are buying the story hook, line and sinker.

The Bounty Hunter and the defense team are NOT looking for the truth… they are looking to save their client from going to jail.

I rest my case! (For now anyway)

Hey, many of us went over to the new site that Kris suggested.

Speaking of other missing children I just heard not too long ago that the Amber Alert that was issued yesterday has been lifted and the little is back home safe. That is such wonderful news now if we can just get Caylee back (and many many more)we could all relax and celebrate for a moment.

so now were taking the grandmothers word now...hum the grandmother wanted action taken, any parent will say or do anything (as she has already proven)

i've been in that grandmothers position (nothing compared to this mind you) i had to call 911 on my own teenager, you'll say anything (maybe not to that extream, but look at who were talking about) to get your kid help. the grandmother knew at that point the little girl was missing -Right the grandmother went over the top with saying that. if that was the case, then this case would be over and they would be looking for a body - the family has already sent the cops on a wild goose chase, why could that be said for the 'it smells like a dead body in there'

who knows maybe i'm wrong....let's hope that i'm not and that the little one is with a 'friend' out of state (hopefully not out of the country) and that 'friend' has heard and seen all that has taken place ---for all we know the brother has the kid, unlikely but who knows at this point. the 'friend' is scared, they were paid big buck to keep here hidden from the grandparents and now all of this

in any case were some one goes missing and they believe they are dead the story always starts out that was 'were looking for a body' this one didn't start out that way, not the way i see it...

i'm not dismissing anything at this point. you just have to read between the lines as in all of these sad cases

oh yea by the way, did anyone see a report about a missing woman was found in water - gee wonder what kind of media coverage or posting there going to do about her.... didn't even know she was missing 'till her body showed up

gota make you wonder about cases like this

i'm just like all of you......i got sucked into this story and talking about it to anyone who will listen to me....

that family is sick for doing this (what ever it may be) to that child, i hope in all my hopes that the little girl is with a 'friend' and that she has not already gone to a better world/place

i’ve been in that grandmothers position (nothing compared to this mind you) i had to call 911 on my own teenager, you’ll say anything (maybe not to that extream, but look at who were talking about) to get your kid help. the grandmother knew at that point the little girl was missing -Right the grandmother went over the top with saying that. if that was the case, then this case would be over and they would be looking for a body - the family has already sent the cops on a wild goose chase, why could that be said for the ‘it smells like a dead body in there’

who knows maybe i’m wrong….let’s hope that i’m not and that the little one is with a ‘friend’ out of state (hopefully not out of the country) and that ‘friend’ has heard and seen all that has taken place —for all we know the brother has the kid, unlikely but who knows at this point. the ‘friend’ is scared, they were paid big buck to keep here hidden from the grandparents and now all of this

in any case were some one goes missing and they believe they are dead the story always starts out that was ‘were looking for a body’ this one didn’t start out that way, not the way i see it…

i’m not dismissing anything at this point. you just have to read between the lines as in all of these sad cases

oh yea by the way, did anyone see a report about a missing woman was found in water - gee wonder what kind of media coverage or posting there going to do about her…. didn’t even know she was missing ’till her body showed up

gota make you wonder about cases like this

i’m just like all of you……i got sucked into this story and talking about it to anyone who will listen to me….

that family is sick for doing this (what ever it may be) to that child, i hope in all my hopes that the little girl is with a ‘friend’ and that she has not already gone to a better world/place

cw... With your theory, are you simply dismissing the FACT that two cadaver dogs hit on human decomposition? And Law Enforcement smelled a strong scent of human decomposition in the trunk? As well as Casey's own mother screaming on the 911 call that the car “smelled like a dead body had been in it?"

cw a.k.a cat woman yesterday - also i'm female and from minnesota so it's unlikely that i'm THAT mother!

isnt this an open public blog for anyone to comment - there been a few in here that have drifted from the original idea....

i'm just posting my comment, dont like dont read it - are you not all doing the same

and yea the mother is most likely searching the internet for info on this case and were all giving the mother/grandparents and media all the ideas...i've been reading other postings and posting as well (yea under different username/screen names - who care, it's a public comment)

were all feeding into this just like the mother/grandparents wants us to do, were actually helping them if you can think of it in that way....yea i have no life here in my own little world so i'm going to seek out another's....like i said it's a sad world out there that this kind of thing can happen...to you to me... I AM IN NO WAY SHAPE OR FORM DEFENDING THAT FAMILY AND THEIR BEHAVIOR

what about all the 'real' missing children out there, wheres the news coverage on those...i just heard that two little ones where in a car at temps of over 70+ and the past away - are you going to be posting about that, i think in that case the mother was fed up with the kids and said go sit in the car to get them out of her hair, last summer there was several reports about parents who 'forgot' there kids in the car why they went to work/shopping (let me tell you it gets hot here in mn) what about all those story? have you heard of any of them...most likely not----but you hear about this one Right!! we all take a small part in the blow up of the media/news coverage...it's all about the big dollar sign

like i said, the 'friend' who has the little girl just needs to bring her home. and by no means possible let that family have any more contact with that child.... the mother needs to be locked away....and the grandparents too...my old saying is 'what you do in the dark - always comes to the light' it's like when the shit hits the fan ....and it will, soon.

it's all in due time

bring her home safe. that's all i'm saying

Sometimes they do...if they think the post are getting to long, and there is something else that has only a few in them. One of them I don't remember which off hand, was having a difficult time with the posts, like I'm having tonight and told everyone to move over to such & such post. Which turned out to be a more recent one. I think I did find one that is more recent let me find it and I will post the link.

Just a weird post I thought. Wonder if Casey is cruising through here? After all if she is on the computer (which we already know), she could be checking out theories, and what people think of her....B**ch! Just in case I'm right.

Did you try clearing out the temporary files in your Internet browser? That might help. I was having a similar problem last week and clearing those files out of the browser made a big difference, especially if you've been doing a lot of browsing!

i've been saying this all along (i've posted before under another name)... there was a custody battle between grandma/grandpa and mother (maybe even a grandfather/father deal also - who knows this family is sick!)

mother took money from grandma/pa to pay a 'friend' to take the little girl out of state to avoid handing over the little girl to (at the time) loving, caring people - grandma/pa just screwed them selves out of that deal

think about it, grandpa said early on "we know who has her and were watching them"

that 'friend' better bring that little girl home because they are facing a 'transport of a child out of state' fine - the 'friend' is shaking in their boots right now

also think about the 911 call where grandma is talking to mom in the background about handing over the child to grandma

the 'friend' who has this little girl better not do anything stupid at this point (like harm her) they just need to bring here back home - and then the mother/grandmother/grandfather should all go to HE(LL -double hockey sticks) where they belong - they all new this from the start and never said anything about it

if that mother gets the little girl back into her custody - that little girl will grow up with this story her whole life - cuz you know there is a movie/book in the works - i'm sure grandpa/ma have already made deals with the sick people who would benefit from this in that kind of way - and we here are even sick in our own way, writing about the "what if's" (yea i'm right here with you all)

everyone now needs to concentrate on bring this little girl home - stop paying attention to what the mother/grandmother/grandfather are doing or saying - LET'S BRING HER HOME

and that bounty hunter guy - don't even get me started on him, he saw $$$ in this story - oh yea right he is not making any money off of this, the heck he aint....wait 'till the true story breaks, how many people who have been following this story will now turn the tv to his show, maybe once or twice - that all it takes

i really hate people who see $$$ in story like this - they are all money hungry animals - the whole lot of em.

well this is just my opion that's all

take care all

AND BRING THE LITTLE ONE HOME SAFE!!

the ‘friend’ who has this little girl better not do anything stupid at this point (like harm her) they just need to bring here back home - and then the mother/grandmother/grandfather should all go to HE(LL -double hockey sticks) where they belong - they all new this from the start and never said anything about it

if that mother gets the little girl back into her custody - that little girl will grow up with this story her whole life - cuz you know there is a movie/book in the works - i’m sure grandpa/ma have already made deals with the sick people who would benefit from this in that kind of way - and we here are even sick in our own way, writing about the “what if’s” (yea i’m right here with you all)

everyone now needs to concentrate on bring this little girl home - stop paying attention to what the mother/grandmother/grandfather are doing or saying - LET’S BRING HER HOME

and that bounty hunter guy - don’t even get me started on him, he saw $$$ in this story - oh yea right he is not making any money off of this, the heck he aint….wait ’till the true story breaks, how many people who have been following this story will now turn the tv to his show, maybe once or twice - that all it takes

i really hate people who see $$$ in story like this - they are all money hungry animals - the whole lot of em.

well this is just my opion that’s all

take care all

AND BRING THE LITTLE ONE HOME SAFE!!

I think my computer is in serious need of a reformat. Everything shows up well after the fact, along with other issues it has going on too. I know it is all happening because I cruise those sites in the UK and Portugal on Madeleine Mccann. ARRRGGGHHHH!

Concerned -
No, I'm not a poet. I wish! But I have written a lot prose, and analyzed a lot of poems, literature, and philosophical writings as course work when I got my BA in English.

Of course Anthony's poem would never will not make it into any university course, but it was interesting to get that insight. I'm glad you posted it because it shows the conflict that she has been dealing with. I don't think she is an intellect of any sort, but like you said, the emotions came through. It's almost like she is in arrested development. I remember thinking along similar lines when I was 13 or so. Whatever she did with Caylee, it's a terrible way to assert one's independence. She must have felt terrible oppressed. Or else she is just a selfish person giving the old f-you to her family...

I'm glad you posted the interview Bronte. No need to apologize! It seems that this family is more messed up than we could have imagined.

You know the whole adoption issue is coming up. And I'm thinking that they should have let Casey place Caylee up for adoption if she didn't want to be a mother. Her parents probably felt that her "motherly" instincts would kick in when she had the baby, but apparently that's not the case. Adoption is a responsible thing to do when one isn't in a position to have a child. Maybe forcing her to have the child contributed to the problems that no doubt already existed. What do you think?

Bronte,
Sorry if my post sounded harsh. I didn't mean it that way--I just wanted you (or other readers) to know some of us had already given our opinion on it. Clearly, none of us can keep up with all the posts here by SO MANY who care so much about Caylee.

Jade,
Very good point.

She is quite young for such cynicism. It doesn't sound like an intellectual experiencing an existential crisis; rather, it sounds more like a disturbed young woman. In other words, the source of the crisis seems to be emotion, not intellect.

btw, are you a poet?

I'm sorry that I repeated the BH interview to all of you.I wasn't sure if it was speculation about him saying those things or if it was legit then I read the article on channel 13's news flash.I still don't buy this whole kidnapping BS but I've always felt like things were not very rosey with the family and its all starting to come to the surface.I remember the first interview given by one of Casey friends and she told Nancy Grace that Casey and Cindy bumped heads constantly over how to take care of Caylee. That stood out to me that maybe Casey resented her mother for meddling and she done something with Caylee to punish her.At this point I wouldn't put anything past Casey.

Did you guys just see the latest, about her stating she did not want her baby? That she could go out and party more if she did not have her? From the police docs. Just read it now...We all thought this was a possibility. Link below.

Concerned -
It is possible that Anthony wrote that poem as she was coming to some sort of resolution. I can see that. It's like she is differentiating herself and what she believes and wants from everything she has been told she should believe and want. For any young person, this is a turning point moment. Generally though people come to a resolution to be a better person or set life-long goals for themselves. In Anthony's case, it seems more a quiet resolve to let go of everything but a few negative points that she can embrace.

I found this on my space, off a webpage i added(to my own my space).. to help support where is caylee. On NG tonight just a brief reference was made to this story. I copied it from my space.

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35, Orlando) -- The Orange County sheriff's office released 400 pages of discovery relating to the search for caylee Anthony Monday. The same day her mother, Casey Anthony, left home to meet with her home confinement case worker.

Here are some key facts from the discovery that have not been made public before.

This is part of Casey Anthony’s statement on July 16. Casey writes: "I left work around 5pm and went back to the apartment to pick up my daughter. However, after reaching the apartment, I realized that neither Zenaida, Caylee nor either of her two roommates were home. I have briefly met Raquel Farrell and Jennifer Rosa on various occasions. After calling Zenaida to see where she and Caylee were, and when they were coming home, I waited outside of the apartment. Casey goes on to say: “I had called zenaida earlier that morning prior to bringing caylee over for the afternoon. When I called her that afternoon, her phone was no longer in service.
"
Casey also writes in her statement she waited 2 hours for Zenaida and Caylee to come home.

Also on Monday Casey Anthony was near the Orange County jail to meet with her home confinement case worker.

She was taken there by the bounty hunter and his team who in discovery mode themselves.

An R.V. Parked outside the Anthony home is essential their mobile command center. When they’re not providing protection for Casey when she leaves her parents house their doing their own investigation into what happened to 3 year old caylee.

“There's no Zanaida. That’s just a figment of her imagination. That’s just a quick excuse. One of her friends helped her move the child out of town.
”
That's world famous bounty hunter Leonard Padilla's most recent theory on what happened to little Caylee Anthony.

For the past week Padilla's team has spent hours on computers sifting through tips and doing their research. They just finished going through Casey's cell phone records.

“Spent all weekend on it. There's nothing out of the norm, it's repeated calls calling the same people. That's why our thinking is who did she call that helped her move the child.
”
Padilla says his team's research shows Casey's circle of friends consists of about 15 people…but he's focusing on specific friends. “The people that left town between the 16 of June and the 16 of August.
”
Between now and Friday Padilla says he expects to know where each friend traveled.

On Friday he'll start tracking them down and asking questions “Was there a little girl with so and so who went to New York…who went to Puerto Rico.
”
Padilla says he's not sharing notes with investigators and he's not getting in their way.

Bronte,
What you brought up about the BH is what we've been talking about for a couple of days. Dak mentioned it, I believe, and he got it from a local station or paper.

I've already given my opinion (above) in great detail but I'll reiterate that I do not believe this new "story" of Casey's (or whoever cooked this up--no telling). Just another delay.

Jade,
Very interesting interpretation of the poem. Essentially, a conversation with herself about life and how it's been presented to her as well as her response to the presentation. Need to think on this some more.

While I'm contemplating, I'd like to ask if you think it sounds as if it were written at some sort of special time. To me, it seems momentous, as if she was perhaps at a crossroads. Or recently gained an epiphany. Or was facing a big challenge. The poem seems to mark a "special occasion" (for lack of better term).

Thanks for sharing your insightful and perceptive response to the poem.

Don't think you missed anything on the Nancy Grace show because there was little content. The could have given out the facts in five minutes and just chatted about things for the rest of the show. Oh wait. That's what they did!

I didn't hear the BH say that on Nancy Grace's show tonight and that show is live. So, where are you reading this informaion about the BH giving the "friend" that has Caylee a deadline?

I may have missed something because I got a phone call while the N.G's show was on.

I still believe that the BH is working for the defense and will always stick to their story.

I just read that the BH is saying that he knows who has Caylee and that he has given them a deadline to turn her over or he is going to go and retrieve her himself. He is now saying that Casey handed her off to a "Friend" because her mother was going to fight her for custody. My question is why give a deadline? this baby girl needs to be accounted for now not next week.

Concerned - Okay, here's a quick analysis of Anthony's poem. It was kind of you to post it for us. My comments are in brackets. If you want to get a better look at it, I would suggest copying it into Word. I'm not looking at the person her, but the words and how they work work in this poem.

This poem could easily be put into two lists. In one list are all the things that we as a society are told and are supposed to believe. On the other list would what Anthony believes. The later would be the shorter list of the two, but the admonitions are running parallel to Anthony’s core beliefs and serve as a stark contrast to conventional affirmations. The work is Anthony’s, but most of the words/sayings are familiar to us all. Anthony has added her own beliefs, serving to break up the monotony of the endless affirmations which are meaningless to her. “Diary of Days” could well be called “The Diary of Useless Dictums, Comparing American Affirmations with My Own.”

Casey’s Blog
July 7, 2008
“Diary of Days” [“Days” dragging on, routine and monotonous, almost like a diary of someone who is not free, but in captivity of sorts be it real or perceived.]
Life will never be easy. [A common life affirmation. Here, Anthony is mocking American culture/positive thinking/buck up ideology.]
On the worst of worst days,
Remember the words spoken. [Critical to poem/list, as in don’t forget these admonitions. I think Anthony is trying to make an effort here, imagining what it would be like to be an adult, a decent human being making an effort. She could also be reminding herself of words that were encouraging and sustaining to her.]
Hold your Head High [These three are Anthony’s personal beliefs. She’s creating her own affirmations.]
Smile [Here emotions have nothing to do with actions—just smile.]
Laugh [Laugh and be an enjoyable person to be with.]
Love Unconditionally [Another common saying, something Anthony threw in to balance the three that are self-motivating yet superficial. On some level, Anthony might wish she could love unconditionally, or she may crave unconditional love for herself.]
Tomorrow is a brand new day. [Another affirmation here which is not convincing in the context of this poem … Things will get better, or will they?]
Trust no one, only yourself. [Primary belief upon which all decision are based.]
With great power
Comes great consequence [Who is holding the power here? And, is Anthony trying to take the power away and use it to her advantage? I think Anthony still sees herself as a child with a powerful figure over her.]
What is given can be taken away. [Revengeful. Perhaps Anthony’s only power is revenge.]
Everyone Lies. [Closing lines are justification for core belief about trusting no one.]
Everyone Dies. [Life as a concept is meaningless. This demonstrates how hollow all the admonitions are to Anthony. Writing “Everyone Dies” is equivalent to saying to hell with it all then. Or it could be seen as a resolution to psychological death.]

You can't believe how much empathy I had for Cindy when all this started. But hearing that she said Casey wants to meet with her supporters makes me want to vomit. It destroyed any ounce of respect that I had for Cindy. It's all BIG FAT LIES!

Gotta say I though how ironic it was when I read this:

Cindy Anthony said her daughter wanted to visit with their supporters though. (Probably would have only been for all the attention they would have been giving her)

Isn't that funny guys! Can't believe she said that. When we all know differently about how her attention seeking far supercedes anything I have ever seen, except in patients with Munchauser by proxy syndrome. That was too much. Unbelievable!

Concerned -
I'm sorry to say it, but at this point almost nothing would shock me about this family. That said, perhaps one thing that is unnverving to all of us is that we don't expect this kind of behavior from a middle class family living in Orange County Florida. Just a theory...

George Anthony does seem to have problems controlling his anger. I wouldn't blame either of them for being freaked out, but there is no reason to lose it in front of the press. I'm sure the dysfunction goes much deeper than this though. Living with an angry, probably bitter, father would be a nightmare.

As for the alcohol at the birthday party, I don't know if that says anything about the family. I would bet that they started buying Casey booze at a young age simply to pacify her. I'm sure her demands have been endless. Still, if she is a monster of sorts, they created her. But you are right in that it doesn't seem like the party was for Caylee or that the focus was on what a one year old would enjoy. This is probably how they celebrate everything.

Casey has demonstrated in the past that she was pissed that all the focus was on Caylee, as in the phone call from jail. Padilla may have a lot of experience, but this is going to be a wild ride for him. I think the pathos of this family is far beyond his expertise...

Concerned, I'm pretty sure I read that as well about George and his position in law enforcement. I too can't believe these people had a drinking party for a one year old. But, again, we are not huge drinkers in our family, so I'm not familiar with that kind of behavior.

It’s hard going the weekend without an update on who is searching for Caylee or what’s happening at the Anthony home. I'm looking forward to watching Nancy Grace tonight, I just hope she's back. As you can tell, I’m totally engrossed with this case.

Tell me if you don't think that Cindy and George fit the example of enablers:

~ An enabler is someone who allows a loved one to behave in ways that are destructive. ~

I definitely feel that both George and Cindy enabled Casey to lie all her life. They probably were doing it out of what they thought was an act of love and protection of their "SWEETHEART" daughter. But, instead they contributed to her chronic lying problem. Casey never had to face any consequences, and here she is again with her parents continuing in the same path by accepting and enabling her horrible behavior.

I doubt very much if Cindy and George will ever be held responsible for lying to Law enforcement. Especially, if they ever find Caylee's body. I'm sure the police will feel that the grandparents were in denial and suffered enough to learn the reality of Caylee's death.

I always keep a shred of hope for Caylee, but it gets dimmer with each passing day.

hi, I clicked on the link from above and did read about the comments left by the supposed brother of cindy? well, In reading the background on the families business, I felt like I could not care less of their background problems ( the anthonys), or marital troubles, etc. ( like we all have problems), however, what I did find very interesting was that there indeed was a custody fight going to start, or brewing, which can be a very brutal fight, anytime there is a fight over a child, it started triggering my little brain on maybe just MAYBE this was all set up by casey, and that indeed the baby is out there with someone, and casey is playing the sickest game possible, like a child throwing a tantrum, letting her mother know she will just "hide" the baby, to keep that from happening, which of course noone on the planet would think to do such a thing, even married people or people who fight over custody don't go to this great lengths to stop a battle, or have custody taken away, ridiculous, however, then the facts of the case come back to me, and totally throw that whole theory out the window, but...its possible that casey had not much to do with her own child, and she was careless or neglected her, or did something even intentional, the whole thing just got me all confused again. I keep hoping when I turn my tv on, that there will be this stunning breaking news and there will be little casey being reunited, and we can all see the child ourselves, how happy that would make me, at that point, noone cares about little casey, boo hoo, go away, just to see this angel alive I think thats all anyone in our nation really wants now, is a happier ending then the grim one that we have had to watch for several long months. which doesn't sound good, after so much time gone by, not evena friend would hold the baby this long for casey, that would be incredulous for someone to do that if their watching the media, and seeing how the mother is about to go down a trial of MURDER, Like i said before I am a pretty good follower of these news stories, and a good sleuth but this one like a few other mysteries ( jon benet) has me scratching my head...I do believe this family is one dysfunctional mess. and this story isn't over yet

Jade,
I read several times that George had been fired from his position in law enforcement. No way to confirm, of course.

You're probably right. Casey could has something on the parents. Or something they're all participants of.

I remember reading a post from Casey's myspace where she's asking her brother to buy beer for Caylee's first birthday celebration. She said her Mom promised to provide "tons" of wine and wine coolers, but Casey was underage as well as needed $$ to buy beer.

She also indicated she needed to be drinking because she couldn't stand the idea of facing her Dad all day long without alcohol. It was said in a knowing way, such as "you know how he gets" or "how he is."

First, that's odd to me to have a drinking party for a one-year-old's birthday celebration, but maybe I just live a different lifestyle. But the comment about the Dad really makes you wonder.

Did not sound like a family happy to celebrate the very life of this child. Also did not sound like the attention was focused on the child.

Oh, I find it quite odd that this family is so mistrusting of law enforcement when George Anthony was in law enforcement himself. I wonder what happened there? If I really wanted my child/my grandchild back, I certainly would turn to those who have the resources to help me. There is a big piece of the puzzle missing here--they are covering up something that will get them all in trouble in the end. Not only that, but they have to be incredibly stupid to say on live TV that they do not trust the authorities! I would keep that to myself if I were in that spot. Why dig yourself in deeper with comments like that?

Concerned -
Good insights into the "poem." I'll take a closer look at it and see what I can make of it. I agree with you though that it does seem like a list of sorts, something for herself or perhaps a justification.

Ain'titSo? -
I wouldn't put it past the parents to keep things from the police. They have stated publicly that they would and are doing so. If the Anthonys are hiding something critical to the case I hope they through the book at them!

Ain't It So,
I agree that Casey will not tell the truth until forced, IF even then. If the worst has happened, and if convicted beyond the shadow of a doubt, she'll still be telling Mommy Cindy and the world that she's innocent.

Doesn't sound as if she's ever taken responsibility for a single thing. She appears to have been taught to be helpless and to play the part of a "helpless female."

Probably thousands of words are falling out of her mouth (she's got to keep "her" people believing in her) and maybe even slivers of truth but I do not believe she is giving any full pictures of truth.

pammyliz--looks like Cindy didn't share the news of this fight with her friend.

"Still, if her parents know more than they are saying, then they are accessories after the fact. They may be trying to “fix” this on their own like they have fixed everything else for Casey."

And the parents and the spokeman, and even Padilla all say that she is giving up a lot of info now that she is home. So why don't the authorities know this info? Why hasn' the FBI or the local detectives been given this new info that Casey is so freely giving now? Or did she give all the info to Baez last Friday during the 6 hours they counseled so that he could prepare her defense?
Casey had 35 days of nothing to do in jail but think up scenarios to support her babysitter-stole-her (dog-ate-homework) story. She's learned this over a lifetime of getting her way by lying. She's good. But now it's no mom and dad and friends she is lying to. And it's not just a cell phone she lost. Or money she has stolen from mom that mom will replace from a 401K and go bankrupt.

But Jade---If those parents have been told what happened to Caylee and they haven't given that info to police, then they should be (and may be yet) prosecuted, too.

I doubt she has given up any truth at all. Maybe some new lies, but she's not tired enough yet of this game she is playing. I doubt she will get tired of it at all. O look for her to play it until trial when there's nowhere else to go.

Jade,
You mentioned offering an analysis of her poem. I'm interested in hearing it.

What strikes me about it the most is that, first, it is in the form of a poem. Second, that poems are usually expressions or reflections. They are not often designed as something one would read to oneself (at least, not ones made public).

In other words, it reads like something she put on her mirror so that she could be reminded of it every day. Like a mantra.

It's definitely written to herself (and only herself). It doesn't sound as if she believes everyone should or needs to live this way. Just her.

Lastly, the phrase, "on the worst days, remember the words spoken" especially stands out. Who is the speaker? Her? Someone else who has given this advice? The rest of it sounds so intimate and solitary, yet words spoken usually means one speaking to another.

... cryptic
... yet telling, in hindsight

Personally, I hope some loving family has her. The Anthonys do not deserve this precious child. The Anthony family is so dysfunctional that they would probably turn Caylee into another Casey. To me, this is a preferable scenario to Caylee being dead. I would think that if she is "kidnapped" or with a babysitter, someone certainly would have come forward for the reward by now. If the Anthonys are keeping information from the authorities, they too should pay the price for their deception.

I've read the list of posts by the one who says he is Cindy's brother. Of course, we can't verify it's him--but it sure sounds like someone who is "in the know." Everything he says in that posting makes sense and answers many previously unanswered questions.

Jade, I believe her parents absolutely know more than they've shared with authorities. Remember when George himself claimed he knew exactly who was holding Caylee and that they were being watched?

I think the authorities could have arrested them by now but perhaps have decided it's better for the overall picture to leave them in the home where they're being hounded by press (and probably bugged). Plus, those two have run their mouths so much--the word "subtle" doesn't appear to be in their vocabulary. It's better for the case for those 2 to remain in the open.

Cindy's working overtime to "force" the world to buy into her unflappable belief in a daughter who has shown nothing in her character to warrant or deserve it. She won't give up; she'll keep this up until the bitter, heartbreaking end (I fear).

If a tiny, helpless, innocent toddler being missing for 60+ days has not awakened their eyes, what will? (I'll keep this rhetorical because my immediate response to the question is too heartbreaking to ponder) ...

When it's all said and done, both of her parents could very well be facing time behind bars: accessories after the fact, obstruction of justice, etc, etc.

Where is Caylee? Other than volunteers who do not know this precious child, who is searching for her?

Ain'titSo? Why doesn't this surprise me? I would be willing to bet that Cindy and George have been covering up for Casey for a long time. I'm sure Casey was banking on this kind of support from her parents. Personally I would have stayed in jail rather than go home to my parents because I know they would not cut me any slack at all and would be totally focused on making my life miserable so that I would give in and tell the truth. Then again, I would not be in this situation. Still, if her parents know more than they are saying, then they are accessories after the fact. They may be trying to "fix" this on their own like they have fixed everything else for Casey.

Cindy's brother, Rick, says there WAS a "falling out" on July 15th, heard by the neighbors. He states that it was over Cindy finding out from their mother that Casey had stolen the money from her grandfather's (Cindy's father whom they visited that day)nursing home account (apparently stole and cashed a check that even her grandmother couldn't cash herself--or wasn't supposed to be able to) and had said that it was for a work project and that she had intended to pay it back. Cindy's and Rick's mom was trying to get Cindy to do something about (turn Casey in)but Cindy wouldn't. There was a riff going on with Cindy and her mother as well as the riff between her and Casey, according to Cindy's brother Rick. That "falling out" did happen on July 15 after the nursing home visit, according to him.

and on another note, I too was offended by the grandmothers poor choice of words saying "get off your asses" and look for my granddaughter, I will forgive that statement seeing as shes distraught I am sure, but the person who needs to get off their ass is their daughter. since shes been released I have seen nothing as far as a search via website, fliers, no immeidate news statement from the mother saying now I am out I am looking for her even from inside my home etc, she would be allowed I am sure to make a public statement outside her home ...

just tried to find anything on the news about this new story with BH and about some fight mom and casey had. But remember the friend or neighbor who came on the airwaves in defense of the family,(don't see her anymore)... but she said when the vacation was planned with mom and dad, casey just planned on spending time with caylee while grandparents were gone, and she specifically said there was NO FALLING OUT her exact words, I remember (nancy grace).. between the family at this time.. and, everything was just fine. they were leaving and casey would just bond with the child, so now this is interesting reading this new development you spoke of about hiding the child...

I also agree with all comments made by Concerned. First of all, no one wanted Casey out of jail except her attorney and her parents. So, who do you think the BH is working for since he was the one who sprung her from jail? You're right…the defense team! It's not difficult to figure out that even prior to the BH going to Florida, he partnered up with the defense team. He’s helping them to build a defense story, thereby creating doubt in the jury pool. That's what defense attorney's do. BH continues to talk through his a$$ regarding Casey giving Caylee to friends.
GIVE ME A BREAK. Most everyone can see through this mask that Casey and her defense team is creating.

Dak, you keep asking where Casey was taking Caylee when she said she was going to work. To my understanding,George was not working for two years or more and he babysat Caylee during the day while, he thought, Casey went to work. Suddenly, about two weeks before this all happened, George gets a security job and Casey is left trying to figure out what to do with Caylee during the day so she can continue running around doing whatever. Who knows, maybe that’s when her plan went in to action. Regardless it doesn’t take a genius to follow the facts. If the facts change, my thinking will too. But right now, sadly, I smell something BAD and it’s in the scent of human decomposition.

According to the police and everyone else, there is nothing to indicate that Casey gave Caylee to anyone. That is only coming from Casey, her parents, brother and the entire defense team.

Thank you for posting that Concerned--nice of you to share.

I won't analyze this poem now, but at first glance I would say that the tone is sardonic. I think she is repeating all the things she has been told, then summarizes with her belief about life, "Everyone Lies/Everyone Dies."

This is not quality poetry of course, but it does have a haunting quality to it.

Trust no one, only yourself.

Tomorrow is a brand new day.

Trust no one, only yourself.

With great power
Comes great consequence

What is given, can be taken away.

Everyone Lies.
Everyone Dies.
——————–

Creepy, creepy, creepy.

Goodnight all!

Dak,
Why have they been having prayer vigils (including today) if they know the friend that has Caylee?

Padillo just needs another week because his first week is nearly up.

Jade -- yes it is. Have you read the entire post? It's in the form of a poem.

Concerned,
Now that is interesting. I wouldn't be surprised if Casey has no friends when all is said and done. But the quote from Casey is very relevant, even prophetic one might say... Creepy indeed.

Dak,
OK that's done.

What I've found interesting on myspace are her friends' sites. Obviously, many say things about Caylee.

But some say some NOT NICE things about Casey. Shows you what at least some of her friends think of her, just as the official police report also shows what friends think and said about her..,INCLUDING her best friend, who reported that Casey stole money from her.

I found the myspace pages of friends, etc. on the scaredmonkeys forum. Also, that forum has the posts from Cindy's and Casey's myspace sites before they were set to private or shut down. The one from Casey that ends in "Everyone lies, Everyone dies" is creepy.

Dak,
Weird. The second one works when I type or copy and paste it, but the link here doesn't work.

See if this works (don't know if this is Casey's or if someone set it up):
http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=vids.Channel&ChannelID=10472558

As far as the other one, supposedly it really is her myspace. At least that's what forum posters said who had seen it before it was set to private. They copied postings from it.

In one of the taped phone calls from jail (I tend to think it was the call when she was talking to Christina--or maybe Lee) one of them asked casey for the myspace password and she gave it to them. The public record deletes the actual password, obviously, but this conversation is online with the rest of the calls that were released. So Lee and probably the parents are the ones who had been logging in. However Casey is home now. She can now log in herself.

Dak,
I don't know if links work here.

Here's the link copied: (last log in 8/24)
http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendid=10472558

Here's another web address listed on the above myspace site, which leads to yet another of Casey's myspace sites.

www.myspace.com/cayleeismissing____

In case the link doesn't work, this one is:
www. myspace.com / cayleeismissing____
[delete spaces, and there are 4 "underscores" after "cayleeismissing."]

Both of these now are devoted to Caylee, but also say (Casey-Mom). The second one has comments from friends, etc.

Hope this works.

Dak -

Nothing wrong with being optimistic! At the same time, Concerned has outlined his points very well, and I am inclined to agree with him on all points.

To answer an earlier question that you raised about who cared for Caylee when Casey was out pretending to go to work and the grandmother was working... As far as I know, the grandfather was not working at the time and was caring for Caylee.
