The employees at the Voice of America have suffered from Senator Biden's influence with the Broadcasting Board of Governors for years. Norman Pattiz, who was involved in campaign donation violations to Biden's 1988 presidential run was appointed to the Board and the Senator's former Chief of Staff, Ted Kaufman has been a Board member for at least a decade. During that time, and apparently with the Senator's support, the Board has cut Voice of America radio broadcasts in favor of Radio Free Europe/ Radio Liberty broadcasts. This has meant that American Union jobs have been lost to foreign workers overseas. This is supposedly a guy that will sit well with blue collar/Union workers?

What kind of foreign policy expert would support closing down the VOA radio broadcasts to Russia and Georgia weeks before a war breaks out? Sounds like someone needs a new crystal ball.
