Geesh, thats what I thought the entire investigation was about!
I say leave her locked up, in solitaire until she cracks!

I care about a little 3 year old baby. I am a mother and this breaks my heart. Every focus should be on Caylee only. I believe that Leo Padilla is doing this for publicity. He has also run for Mayor of Sacramento many times and lost. This is a good choice, because of what people think, he more than likely will never be mayor. He needs to mind his own business and leave the creep in jail to rot.

I was Baez, Casey’s attorney that contacted the Padillas. That has been posted on several sites.

There is no connection between Bill Warner and Leonard Padilla, Padilla is a bounty hunter, he is NOT a licensed private investigator.

Padilla like most all bounty hunters is not licensed by any State, they operate as agents of the licensed Bail Bondsmen and they operate in a very grey area.

Who is this Leonard Padilla? I’ve lived in Cali most of my life - Elk Grove for several years - never heard of him until his head popped up on Nancy Grace.
Was wondering WHY he decided to stick his nose in Orlando, even moreso after the NG interview. . .he just doesn’t come across as a man of great. . .ummm, ummm, don’t wanna be mean here, so I’ll just say that IMPO, the man’s reasons for wanting to bail the BIMBO out ‘a the Pokey were rather weak.
The Floridians think he’s a nut-case and wish he’d just stay in Sacramento. Orlando LE claims they don’t know anything about him and/or his plans. (Bet they know, now!) They also think he’s just digging for a Book deal.
Since his TV show isn’t doing well, (if it’s even still on the Air) perhaps he’s hoping to do a Special on the Anthony case to boost his ratings? ? Who knows?!

I remember a case many years ago where the mother had three children she drove down a secluded road, and shot all three children She later drove them all to the hospital thinking all were dead or would be dead.. well one lived but is now handicapped for life..this mother had been a good mother until she met a man she was in love with. But he made statement to her that he never wanted kids… according to some interviews on Tv.. Casey had only known this boyfriend for about a month when she had practically moved in on him and the roommate. This is just all so crazy! I had even thought…Well maybe there was an accident with the child and Cassey panicked and did not want to seem like she was not a responsible parent…. But listening to what has been said, makes me really believe she had a plan to get rid of her baby. I don’t believe there is a babysitter.. You may be on to something. Noted accompanying Leonard is his partner in the Bounty Hunting Business, Robert Dick. Mr. Dick just happens to be a licensed private investigator which is required by both California and Florida state law to conduct investigations of any sort. His company name which is licensed is Renegade Investigations and can be found through the California State Department of Consumer Affairs which regulates licenses of private investigators and bounty hunters.

This appears to complicate the matter a bit, as if they are conducting their investigation as “private investigators” they have an ethical responsibility of confidentiality in that they cannot reveal anything to any person without permission of the defense legal counsel or Casey Anthony. So, it appears they are working as defense investigators (not the good guys with the white hats who are trying t find truth….their first responsibility is to the client and even if they “find truth” they can never reveal it unless given approval.

However, there is an enormous reward for locating Caylee Anthony and don’t think for a minute, despite Leonard’s protests, that they are not looking at the possibility of being rewarded.

If you google “Robert Dick,” you will find a Sacramento Bee article whereupon he asked for the reward of a banjo….though the person who lost the banjo felt he was a bit “extorted.” Seems Dick found the banjo through a local low life, took the low life to a local attorney and the attorney negotiated the return of the stolen banjo (of course, protecting the low life that had the banjo.) The reward was in the thousands…..

Just something to think about….great publicity which, on network television, has exceeded $50,000 as well as an enormous reward of a quarter million bucks. Padilla ain’t that stupid, afterall, is he? The only ones being taken here are the innocent public who believes he is the guy in the white hat (his hat is black) who is doing this out of the goodness of his heart.

God. Padilla’s bail bonds office is a few blocks from my house- he’s all about the attention. Leonard seeks things out here in our hometown to get attention; he tries so damn hard to get on the news…. it’s quite pathetic. No Amber Alert was issued because by the time the police were notified - over an entire month of the not-so-concerned family (yes, even the grandparents - they don’t see the baby for a month and have no questions?) had gone by. Amber alerts are ONLY for recent abductions where there is something substantive to put out. E.g., “3-year old Caylee has been missing for a month” does little as an Amber Alert (which, by the way, is only local) as opposed to a local Amber Alert which says, “3-year old Caylee has been missing for 3-hours last seen wearing a pink shirt and shorts and is suspected to have been abducted by her Nanny, a 28-year old female hispanic named . . . . driving a white 1980’s GMC Jimmy with Florida plates.” NOTE: Just an example. Padilla is a joke. On Nancy Grace he is telling kidnappers that he is now in charge and he will see if they leave Caylee at a drug store - I laughed out loud at that one - and call him two days later they won’t be arrested and will get the $250,000 reward. He didn’t even leave his number. He is only making that ridiculous claim because he knows Caylee is dead.

Well…the mother never talked and the child wasn’t recovered within five days as promised by Padilla. They did absolutely nothing except take Casey to her attorney appointments and whine about threats to their safety, requesting security from the attorney (huh???) A whole lot of film about a whole lot of nothing…at least they got their bond back by revoking it.

Padilla does not know how to properly interview or interrogate anyone. Certainly, he talks to people who alert him to where bail absconders are, but those people have a motive to talk. Interviewing and interrogating, in a homicide situation is much different and doing so within a high notoriety case is even moreso.

Nor does he know how to give proper press releases. A big part of the protesting and the people coming around the home were a result of his desire for “fifteen minutes of fame” on television. He created the situation.

As well, he irreparably harmed law enforcement efforts with his big mouth and even bigger ego. No reputable person in the criminal justice system would do what he did.

In dealing with notoriety cases, you want to work quietly, move quietly and NOT attract attention.

Look at the work Texas Equi-Search is doing down there. They are working quietly. There are no big press releases, no bravado and no false promises. They are doing something, they are searching and not just talking.

Padilla was nothing but wind as mentioned many times earlier.

Mr. Padilla claims to have 33 years of experience working with criminals and he was taken, big time. Most of us who work or have worked within the system, understood what was occurring, however Mr. Padilla did not.

He was operating on ego and wanted footage for his new television show. It is clear he had little experience dealing with the homicides of children (many of which are commited by parents.) He obviously had little experience with child abuse and with sociopaths.

A GOOD investigator does not determine a theory and then try to prove that theory…a GOOD investigator looks at the facts, looks at the timelines, assesses the evidence and then follows the course of investigation no matter how distasteful it may be. A GOOD investigator does not have biases and does not act as a public advocate with the media on behalf of his client. He simply investigates a case.

Mr. Padilla is an idiot and a media hound. He messed up this case royally and created considerable havoc. No wonder he is simply a “bounty hunter” because he has little or no investigative skills.

Padilla is a total tool! I watched his show on NATGEO one night and he thinks he is a reincarnate of Billy the Kid!
