She was living with her boyfriend at the time and never even told her that she was missing? Guess she’s getting her way again but this thing is far from over, she’ll be monitored every minute of the day and probably be secluded. i think the grandmother said it all, when she said the car smelled like a dead body. she didnt want to believe it. so she washed the close left in the car, hoping to , to wash it all away. i dont feel sorry for them, not any one of them. the only one i feel sorry for is the baby, caylee. she has a mother, that didnt even think to cry when she went missing, just dancing at a bar.and who eles should we pin this on? she is responsable for the baby and what happens to her . she just crys now because she feels sorry for herself. if i was her mother i would kick her ass in. and hard!

When she got arrested she had a litte smile and smirk on her face that she repeated in court. It just makes me sick b/c she has all the answers and seems to be playing games w/h her parents and the police. I’ve never seen someone so composed and defensive when their child is missing its like she’s comfortable with the situation. its disgusting……..

I just don’t understand this whole case. I don’t understand why the cops haven’t arrested the grandparents for hindering prosicution or something. I know that they are the parents; however, if Cindy says that she raised the child and paid the medical bills, how could she not pick the side of the innocent child. Afterall, the child is blood too. I really think that the parents are covering for this woman who has undoubtably done something terrible to her own child. I think that the parents pretend to be looking for Caylee, and are trying to stall the investigation (for example saying that he has the kidnappers under watch). They would not let that cute baby girl sit with people of whom he has no idea what they would do to his grandbaby. That is, if they really loved little Caylee. So, this is why I think they have picked the side of their evil daughter. Maybe, she learned all of the lying from them. I do know one thing, if George does not have the actual kidnappers under servalence then I will have doubt in our justice system if he is not arrested.

I think that in their minds (Anthony’s) it would have been too much for them to lose their grandaughter and their rotten daughter too. So this maybe a reason for them covering the lies she is telling.

For sake of speculation could it be possible they now know the baby was sold for drugs or money? And through cryptic conversations this was disclosed to her parents? This may explain why they are adamant in their belief she is alive. After all Casey was very young to be a single mom and dealing with her child may have become in her spoiled mind a hindrance to the lifestyle she wanted to lead and was missing out on. I would rather think this than that the child is dead but my sixth sense tells me the latter of the two.

Lets get real! Caylee hampered Casey’s lifestyle. She reverted back to the spoiled lifestyle she had before Caylee, including lying to her parents and anyone of authority. She should be in with other prisoners.
I pray for Caylees safe return, and if she is returned to the grandparents-she is kept far away from Casey. I doubt she will be returned because this sick bitch fed her to the gators.

That is because people like that operate on manipulation. Being use to getting their way on everything means that part of their personality disorder is that they have to feel in charge at all times and at all costs. It would be quite a coup feather to pull one over on the cops to them and something to smirk over should you get away with more lies to people in a higher authority. These types of people grow older but never grow up…its like when the year rolled around where they turned 16 they just dug in their heals and felt comfortable at the rebellious age and didn’t want to leave it.

Don’t forget that the same person that evaluated Casey in the beginning also said that Cindy showed signs of munchausen sydrome. She is an attention seeker, and also if you add by proxy to the end of that then you have someone that would hurt the child for attention I don’t know but that is what this person said on fox news. That does not sound good to me either and there are a lot of people who feel sorry for the grandparents who keep changing their story and making up things to tell the media just like their daughter did.

I think they also should find out who the father is of this baby. The family knows who the daughter thinks, and do a damn DNA test. Or prove that the father is dead. Maybe she does not want people to know who the father is for a reason. I just think that the police are letting her call all of the shots, and I just don’t understand why. Couldn’t they get a court order for her to disclose this information, and hold her indefinately for contempt until she tells who the true father is and the name. That way they can keep her behind bars and try to build a strong case.

The nanny never existed. She she has used this little wild goose chase to her own advantage, because when they do find the little sweetheart’s body, then she is going to say that these so called kidnappers thought that the police were getting close and killed the baby and buried her where they would think that Casey had killed her. I just hope that they find her and can use the body farm to come up with a time of death within days and put it on the mom. I hope that no jury in their right mind would let her off.

I believe that as well Kris. Why bring in CSI to the parents house repeatedly when she was not staying in the parent’s house when the child went missing. I thought that you always trace the steps, and from what they had said, ” Casey, her boyfriend, the roomate, and little Caylee were playing at the boyfriend’s house, and then Casey left with her to suposedly drop little Caylee off at the sitter’s so they could go out clubbing. When she returned a few hours later, she was dressed in club attire and they left for the club. That was the last time that the roomate said that he or any of them saw the baby girl. So explain that to me!!!

I suppose there is one theory that may not have been explored. Could Casey have possibly been so drawn to the club scene with friends that she would possibly think it was o.k. to leave her baby sleeping inside the car? After all she may feel it wouldn’t be too hot in the evenings and dark enough that maybe noone would know about it. Then maybe someone just took her from the car and she cannot admit this. I really feel the same as my family that it was a death but there is a part of me being a mother myself that would like to have some sort of hope anyways.

Casey’s Phone records and the fact that she made all those calls show me something and the fact that she has Lied about the simple things like where she works and stuff what a stupid ass!

They are getting a better pitcher here and will take her down weather she is in jail or not.

Hey Catherine – is the time line something like ….she did not leave mom and dads house until mid June. She left after the 18th or 19th of June to move in with boyfriend Tony. But she then pretended her baby girl was with the “nanny” – funny term for a mom with no job and no money – but she also said she was with gramdma and at Disney – and did this for a month while she played at the bars. I think we are on the same page.

Well, it’s ludicrous to me that in the beginning of this sad, sad story that Cindy Anthony was the FIRST person that “outed” her daughter on national TV as a LIAR but now doesn’t like the consequences of the Media. This may be a dumb question but would like some feedback….does anyone else find it highly suspicious that she called her former fiancee (also a former COP) Jessie Grund during the “flurry” of phone calls?? And why did he early on in this tell Police that he talked to Casey again on the (he said to make a date) 24th of June and that he heard Caylee in the background and Casey said “Caylee, get off of the table” ….yet now he says he may be mistaken and that he didn’t hear Caylee in the background. I just find it very strange that she has a brand new boyfriend but is making a date with the old one. Does anyone also think Caylee looks like him? Thoughts??

I’ve been following this case because it’s so strange. I can’t understand someone waiting so long to call the police if their child is missing. And now that the mother is jail you think she would pony up. The mother doesn’t seem to be taking this very seriously, or she truly doesn’t know where her daughter is.

Mrs C. is a clueless, uneducated, hopeless, DELUSIONAL, ignorant, moronic nut job. She has ignored everything about this case that would inform an intelligent, sane person that Casey and her parents are in the wrong and should be arrested. Mrs. C is doing so simply because she is a single mother and wants desperately to believe that Casey is like her-=-THAT is what is IGNORANT!

She looks like she’s demon possessed. Perhaps if someone would get her deliverance, then the truth could be found. All this laughing during a time like this only speaks demon possession.

I’m glad that the bounty hunter is going to investigate whether Caylee was abducted. Like just about everyone else, I agree that the facts seem to point to Casey having done something. But I also think the media has skewed what it reports towards this angle. And I suspect that law enforcement is mainly focusing there as well.

I grew up in a drug usage subculture; going to the cops wouldn’t have been the first option had certain things happened in our family either. If Casey got into trouble, say with a bad drug deal or ripping the wrong person off, it could explain some of what happened. I.e. initially she may have thought the sitter/nanny was just going to keep watching Caylee a little longer and it suited her (to party, and spend time with her new boyfriend) – but then it turned into a chase and she realized she wasn’t getting her back. I think that someone like Padilla can figure out if there is any “credibilty” to that angle.

People that simply say “why don’t they go to the police, there are swat teams etc” obviously have not dealt with this level of subculture. For example: uh, I was running about 100K worth of crack and I blew it and pissed off this really important drug dealer and now they took my kid, except it took me about 2-3 weeks to figure out they got to my nanny and that is why she kept watching the kid? At least where I grew up, some of the police were involved with the drug running, and some weren’t. If you just walk into the police station, who knows what level of mixed alliances you are getting into? I’ve never seen any information about 1) where the heck Casey really was “working” (other than promotions for that club), if she was making any money was it through drugs? 2) Did she undergo any drug testing when they arrested her? Often when people are stealing that level of money from friends and family, drugs are probably involved!

Anyway, I have no idea whether Casey could have been involved with drugs or drug running – and don’t take these comments out of context. I’m just saying *if* she was, it could account for the some of the deception, without meaning she did something to Caylee directly. I think this is the kind of scenario Padilla was referring to when he spoke with Greta last night about 1/2 truths. It might even account for lots of phone calls on certain dates and for digging things up out of the back yard. I admit, it doesn’t account for cadaver dogs hitting on the car and the back yard. But the DNA tests will eventually back that up or deny it.

Wow, I just read the myspace postings that someone archived on brianspredictions.com – the one on July 3rd that Cindy Anthony posted is pretty damning! It sure looks like the family knew by that date that Caylee was missing.

Of course Caylee is dead. Please. The only question is whether Casey will ever reveal where she burned the body and where the bones were disposed of. If she doesn’t confess, Casey COULD skate on this one. She knows it, as do her parents. All you have to do is sow the seeds of reasonable doubt (which is what the parents have been doing, knowingly)

There are only two possible ways Caylee’s charred bones will be recovered-

1) Casey confesses
2) Cadaver dogs get lucky (not likely since the area in question is hundreds of square miles)

Casey thinks it’s bad in jail….wait til the lying, murdering pig gets out! I cant wait to see how the her and family react to the circus then! I think they’ll turn on each other when they a forced to sit in there own personal prison 24/7! Thier poor neighbors!

Those bounty hunter people need to be careful. This is a skillful, manipulative sociopath. I’m not saying that she did, or did not hurt her daughter, but she has demonstrated a pattern of willingness to manipulate, lie and use others for her own benefit, and I don’t think that her own benefit necessarily includes the welfare of her child.

I think the police may have enough evidence to try Casey for murder right now. Look at the facts: Not reporting Caylee missing for 31 days, NEVER reporting Caylee missing (Cindy Anthony did the reporting – not Casey), Shovel borrowing, gas can stealing, car smelling like a dead body, lying to police and taking them on a bunch of wild goose chases, DNA evidence found in car, Cell phone showing Casey in a remote area during the time in question, partying in the days following Caylee’s disappearance, lying to her parents about Caylee’s whereabouts, telling DIFFERENT lies to her friends about Caylee’s whereabouts, making up a fictitious babysitter – the list goes on and on…..

What you all see going on right now is called creating “reasonable doubt”. If no body is found the attorney is going to say that if your not completely sure (reasonable doubt) that Casey killed her…that maybe….just maybe…. she really was kidnapped. Then you can’t convict her.

The only tears Casey Anthony has cried are for herself. She’s manipulative, and anyone who thinks she didn’t either kill this child or sell her to someone isn’t living in the real world. And the sad thing is, she’ll get away with it. Mom’s are drowning their kids and murdering them in many other ways and they end up walking after a short time in jail. It’s sad.

The best case scenario would be that someone took Caylee away from Casey because they knew she was being abused or neglected. Do I think that happened? No.

It’s obvious from her actions that *Casey* is the number one priority for Casey.

The police still have other charges on Casey. Remember, she stole her best friends checkbook and wrote checks to the tune of about
$ 1000.00. That’s forgery! She cashed the checks at some check cashing store where her car was towed from. From what I read the ex-friend is going to press charges.

I’ve been following this case on the Nancy Grace News channel from the beginning…It is so upsetting to watch the family and her tell such lies. I thought from the beginning it was a big cover up. from George.(once a cop)..and Cindy cleaning evidence from the trunk of her daughters car….and Casey…trying to make frantic phone calls to her parents? I think if she didn’t kill her daughter and it was an accident and not deliberate…she would have dialed 911. for help… any normal person with a heart would do that! I’m just puzzled that this Girl is so heartless and unemotional with her daughter missing…yes she is a spoiled brat..and a pathological liar,… This case reminds me of Scott Peterson..he also had that smirk on his face..after killing his wife and unborn child…with all the technology we have today…If it was a kidnapping..Casey should have gotten in touch with law enforcement..Not having a grand old time dancing in a bar,while her daughter was missing!

I personally believe that a side bar agreement was reached with the family to turn over any book, or film rights in the future either fully or for residual income. This would be my first thought on them putting money on the line.

I just keep thinking about how many families cannot have children and you have this one who is a completely unfit mother. Call it archaic but I personally believe there should be select reproduction laws and certain people should be sterilized. Starting with this one.

Us Americans are a caring people in general. We get upset when animals or children are mistreated and have little tolerance for those that are cruel. First off Dakdude, I want to start off by saying I either think you are Mrs.c in disguise tonight…Secondly I work in the medical field for over 25 years and am very familiar with the Hippa (privacy laws), which might I add do not apply in a criminal investigation when the evaluation is conducted by the authorities. In other words “all bets are off”, in jail she has no rights. And her clinical eval was aired right on Nancy Grace as well as posted all over the internet when it was completed. So do you homework before blasting people who have done theirs Mrs. c…..whoops I mean Dakedude.

P.S.- Also wanted to point out in your later post that the Ramsey case was cleared not because of someone being found (although someone came forward admitting to it) that man was cleared and was found only to be an attention seeker that is all.

Have you heard one person other than her family, lawyer, and the bounty hunter say they believe Casey? If Casey and the family know who has Caylee tell them to go get her.

Just because you don’t live in that area doesn’t exclude you from being a family member in denial as well, or a friend. So what you are saying is there was two different evaluations conducted on Casey? One that was aired and one psych eval that was sealed?…I cannot contest that, you could be right. However usually in a criminal investigation if two are conducted one is by the authorities and one is arranged by the defendants lawer to counter balance the other.

And if you don’t feel that there is any suspicious behaviour especially after stealing gas cans, backing up a car to the family garage, and borrowing a shovel. I think you need to take a closer look at the facts.

It’s easy to initially be disappointed and view Casey’s release as her getting her way, but I think her release is the best thing that can happen to reach the truth in the case. Afterall, it appears there was nothing in that 7×12 cell compelling the mom to talk. Her selfishness and deceit will eventually be her undoing when she’s on the outside and inadvertently confesses or drops a clue that will reveal the truth.

Besides, once forensics comes back with positive results from the trunk contents, she’ll be charged with murder and back in jail for good.

Casey, it appears, got her habitual lying trait from her mom, and I wouldn’t be surprised if both are aware of the truth and have been duping us all. I think the grandmother–whose home was the main residence of little Caylee–should have been jailed with her daughter on neglect charges. Let’s not forget that ONE MONTH after not having seen her granddaughter who supposedly lived with her, she called the police….but not initially to file a missing person report, but to turn her daughter in for theft of her vehicle and some money. Between the conversations (or yelling, if you asked the nextdoor neighbor to guess) that is bound to take place between these two characters in the weeks to come (I mean, consider the incredible stress they will be under not only with Casey being watched constantly, but still having the hoards of reporters blanketing their front yard), I believe the truth will be revealed by these two loons one way or the other.

By the way, have there been any interviews with George and Cindy since the bond posting news came out? I wouldn’t be surprised if they’re NOT thrilled with the idea of having her back (for the reasons I stated above). Even more scrutiny will be put on the two of them. By the way, that must be a small house, because that yard is pretty teeny. Man…it is going to truly be hell in that household.

Another question: if they choose for Casey to live elsewhere, who gets to foot that bill–mom and dad or the bounty hunter? What a family of loons…..

I was reading an earlier post that I believe could definitely be the truth! SOmeone mentioned that maybe she was so worried about clubbin that she might have left her daughter in the car sleeping while she went inside. Actually that could be true maybe she parked her car to the side and left Caylee asleep and went inside…got drunk and left with someone. Maybe she didnt get back to the car until the next morning and if you left a child in the car in the Florida heat that long it would definitely die. Which would also explain the smell. As crazy as she is maybe her daughter was sleepin and she put her in the trunk so nobody would see her….the only person that knows the truth is Casey and she obviously isnt one for cooperating! Dakdude, What you are saying is completely true, I do not disagree with you there. In fact I feel very strongly that this is the scenario which will ultimately happen in Madeleine Mccann case. I am more then 95% certain that child is alive having followed the case and specifics I picked up on (too numerous to get into right now). I cannot say the same in Caylees case unfortunately. I do not feel it will be a good outcome due to the evidence so far. All points to the mother and her demise.

Kris I totally agree with you…if Caylee is alive than she does deserve better she is absolutely beautiful! I think her mother took her for granted and whats sad is somehow if she is found alive than people will turn it all around saying what a great mother she is for protecting her child when she truly knew where she was. Truth is even if she does know where she is and she is trying to protect her than that is what should’ve been stated from the beginning instead of sending police on a wild goose chaseand lying about her job and the other strand of BS she fed everybody she should’ve been straight forward from the start!

I have always felt so strongly about these missing children cases, so much so that is to a point where I wish I could find a way to help. This does not describe people like Casey…she does not have these maternal traits in her, if she did she would have been a basket case over this child by now.

There wa a case of a girl named Shannon Matthews who disappeared who was presumed abducted and possibly murdered and was later found in the base of a bed in mans house that her mother was seeing, and the mother was the guilty one.

I honestly hope I can come into some major money someday or the lottery because I truly wish to do this. I feel so much over these children and how sick the world is becoming. I remember when I was little it was nothing to ride your bike down the road or around the block. I would never dream of allowing my daughter to do this. She is absolutely beautiful and would surely be taken by some sick individual. The world has changed immensely, and our efforts to protect them should increase, not decrease and become lax. I will never leave my daughter to go out clubbing or take her for grantite. She is precious and also a miracle baby. I was completely sick in desperate need of a surgery I could not have while pregnant and kept on antibiotics throughout the pregnancy to keep infection at bay. Wheeled away right after her birth to have surgery and then back again to deal with my newborn. She is completely special and all children should be treated this way.

But I kid you not when say that they were friends or better yet “so called friends” of Casey who were talking in there. They definitely knew her and stated many things which would convince anyone reading they knew the mother from parties and or clubbing. Even if I could find it again I am starting to wonder if even though you say you are not part of their family maybe you could be batting for her lawyer instead. You are giving voice to what a lot of people think about this case, but you are doing it with too many run-on sentences to count. Some of the sentences in this post were so poorly constructed I just skipped them after two or three reads, figuring I had the gist of what you were trying to say. Just heard Dogman Chapman say Casey should not be bailed out by the bounty hunter. With the ankle monitor she is required to wear she will not be able to leave the house. Dogman said, Leonard is a good bounty hunter, but what is he going to track down if Casey doesn’t talk. Dogman also said, Florida may not accept the bond, and may require $ 500,000.00 in cash. I don’t know the law in Florida with regard to bond versus cash.

The police, FBI, and her parents tried to find out what happened to Caylee. Does anyone thing the bounty hunter will be have any luck making Casey tell him what happened to Caylee. I truly hope he can work some miracle, and bring Caylee home.

Ok I missed that one, Catherine, but why are they not acting like they care unless on national telivision? In the videos they just don’t mention anything about Caylee, yet they called the cops. Just got another piece to the puzzle. Seems Casey and a guy who is a D.J. by the name of Jeff Hopkins, were in Jacksonville between 6-16-08 and 07-15-08 as per Cindy Anthony’s released testimony.

First Cindy said she didn’t know where Casey wasbetween 6-16-08 and 7-15-08, and know she remembers Casey took a vacation with this D.J.

Hurricane Fay may keep Casey in jail. I understand that the police may postpone her bail out. God works in mysterious ways doesn’t he.

Okay…… I have read enough…I know everyones position and figured I would throw in. I like Mrs. C gave birth to my first child when I was 21. She is now 6 and the light of my life. I can’t imagine especially since I went through some really tough times raising her as well that Casey could have hurt this child. I mean generally when a mother hurts their child they are a special kind of crazy and have voices telling them to do it. Which if that were the case then Casey would have already been singing like a canary and probably prophecizing the end of the world. But she isn’t. And alot of the conversations between the Anthony family are in code it seems. To me it is very plausible that the whole family knows exactly where Caylee is, and that for now, no harm has come to her. Why Casey has been lying to the cops…. if the kidnappers think that Casey is leading the officials to all these dead ends but is in confidentiality giving them the truth (which would not be released to the media) then maybe they are very close to saving this girl. Again Caylee is in my prayers and I don’t know how I feel about Casey. I stand behind her as a single mom knowing what she is going through but only time will tell the truth.

I kind of have to agree with VHahl81. Most mothers who harm or kill their children usually give in by this point. Just because these sort of Theories sounds to unreal they are no different than saying she is dead without some sort of substantial prove. As of now they haven’t determined if the hair sample was Caylee’s or Casey’s because they are similiar in DNA especially without the hair root. And if they are so convinced then why haven’t they gotten the saples from the car back.

Reality is that the evidence is all circumstantial. Reality is that no one has actually said that Caylee is dead. Until they have a decomposing body in their custody that happens to be that of a 3 year old girl I like many other people will be holding out hope that such a beautiful child did not have her life cut short.

How is it you know for certain they haven’t gotten the samples back yet Dakdude? Couldn’t it be withheld from the public?

The sad thing is how many people are willing to lynch this woman without haveing all the facts. What kind of country are we when we throw out the principles that this country was founded on? What happened to innocent until proven guilty? I guess now its guilty with no concrete evidence.

Well dear I hate to tell you this but there have benn cases out there with worse and more damaging evidence and the child ends up being safe.

The media looks for any sensationalism to sell their product. But there are many facts in this case so far that as I said before …does not bode well for this family.

The media also lambasted the Mccann’s over Madeleine’s disappearance…but I have followed that case too since last year, and I am certain that family is innocent. They usually say the longer a child goes missing the more likely they are to be gone…but in the Mccann’s case I truly believe the child is alive and will be found. So your post above does have some truth to it…I don’t feel it applies to this case with Caylee…Sorry.

Kris… I feel for you going up against these two who are basing their beliefs on their emotions and NOT the evidence that is known so far. Yeah, and the family tried to bilk sympathy money from the Mccann’s, and it was found this played a major role in the staged abduction. Pretty sick if you ask me.

In fact in that case it was extremely sad the sighting last June (over a month after Maddy’s abduction), finding in the dossiers that an extremely incredible lead was not even followed up on. The child told a shop keeper her name was Maddy, and she was taken from her “Mummy”, when asked where she said, “From my Holiday.” Alonge with the shopkeeper spotting the coloboma in her right eye.

That is a child who stands a chance of truly being found alive.

The evidence in the trunk was in the dossiers reading as inconclusive. When elaborated on it went on to say that the genetic makeup could possibly be Madeleines, but it could also belong to family or sibling. It was not close to even match…but the keystone cops wished to pin it on someone and bring their resort back to its economic flow once again…Has a ring of the Natalee Holloway case if you ask me.

Well kris I hate to say this but the orlando police aren’t much better.

Besides Maddie has been missing for more than a year and in my opinion has less of a chance to be found.

Kate Mccann was told by her lawyer that the questioning to be asked was in such a way that it was vague, and that to answer the questions to the Portuguese they would twist them around later asking the same question in another way, and use her own words against her. They are a sneaky lot from all I’ve read so far. So after reading this I went from wondering why myself to truly understanding what her lawyer told her to do. She only followed his instructions. And if you don’t think the Portuguese are corrupt just google the falling of “Casa de Pia” which was an infamous child/paedo ring in which the police were involved as well as many in the upper crust of their society. It was extremely sick to read what they did to those children. Don’t personally know about the Florida police I don’t leave anywhere near there. But possibly they could be too.

Truly Dakdude…Do you have anything at all to do with Casey’s legal representation? Or anything to do with her case in anyway other than just being a blogger? Tell the truth now….I am not your wife!

First of all my wife doesn’t like forums she thinks they are stupid and full of unnecesarry garbage. She won’t even watch the news because she thinks its useless.

I agree that Casey Anthony is a spoiled brat. I have a grandchild, and he was also born our of wedlock. The two of them, and three of us, all shared a three bedroom home for over three years, so I get it.

I realize how easy it is for a grandparent to take over the day-to-day chores of raising a child. That’s why I refused to do it for my daughter. I believe that Cindy and George, being good parents, just stepped into taking care of Caylee, like she was their own child. It’s an easy thing to do when they live with you. Sometimes, you don’t even realize that you’re doing it.

I also considered that Casey is in her early 20′s (like my daughter), and from what we all saw on television, she loves to party. My daughter did not do that, and believe me, if she had, I would have taken her to Court, in a heartbeat, and asked the Court to award custody of the baby to me and my husband. A girl who wants to party, does not make a good Mother.

By their behavior (the Anthony’s), they effectively took Casey out of the parent-child-relationship. I doubt Casey was truly resonsible for raising Caylee, not when Mom, Dad. and brother were there to help out,..take over,..which I believe they did.

My daughter was young too, when she got pregnant, so I know what they went through, but they took the raising of that baby too far into their own hands. I don’t think Casey ever bonded with Caylee. She never had the chance, nor did she want it.

From the party-girl’s point of view, why knock yourself out, all day, taking care of a toddler, when your family is willing, and able to do it for you? It leaves you free to party all night long, and into the morning hours, as well!

Plus, the cell phone issue. My daughter had one too. After the baby was born, I told her to give up the cell, or move out. I did this because I needed to know who she was associating with,…for the baby’s sake. The only time she needed a cell phone was when she went out to the baby doctor, shopping, etc., so I gave her mine. It was easy to keep track of her that way, and to see who was calling her, and who she was calling.

I am not sorry that I did that,…no a bit. She needed us to help her with a roof over her head, and I needed to be sure the baby was around people that we knew, and safe.

Also, consider that Casey did not work. Where was she when she told her family she was going to work? Makes ya’ wonder, huh?

We know she was living with her boyfriend, occasionally, during the period that Caylee disappeared. How come nobody from her family knew this? They never mentioned anything about Casey staying with a boyfriend. Because,..they didn’t know. They were on vacation. They didn’t know where Casey was from one day to the next.

I was really upset that the grandparents left Casey alone with Caylee, and went on vacation. Come on people,..I don’t care if you love your daughter,..I don’t care that she is the mother of your grandchild,…you raised the child. You don’t just dump a baby upon an irresponsible person! You take the baby with you on vacation!

I am not saying that the grandparents are to blame, but they were not thinking about how their behavior would hurt all of them, in the end.

You cannot become substitute parents for your children’s children,..not when your kids are able to care for the baby themselves. Casey never had a chance to take care of Caylee,..alone,..by herself, and I’d bet on it!

I also believe that the Anthony’s want to believe Casey’s lies that Caylee has been kidnapped. It’s better than the alternative.

That’s why Mr. Anthony went crazy and yelled at the reporters. Both of them have already gone through the grieving process,…before they started to believe Casey’s lies. They are grasping at straws, wanting to believe that the baby is alive. Who wouldn’t?

Something like that would kill loving grandparents, let alone parents,..and yet, Casey remains calm. The only tears we see from her is when she is in Court.

Believe me, those tears are not for Caylee,…they are tears for herself. Casey. She is a narcissist, with almost no feelings. She is empty, except when it comes to what she wants,..and then, God help anybody who gets in her way!

The person I blame for this is Casey. She is a selfish, spoiled, ego-centric individual. She does not care about her family, or her daughter. She said it herself, when she talked to her Mom, on July 25, 2008,…”All you want is to get Caylee back,…”. Then she added,..”So do I.”,…as an after-thought.

That statement said it all. She does not care about her daughter. In fact, it almost sounded as if she was jealous that her Mom was so concerned about Caylee, and not poor Casey (I say that sarcastically). She’s a piece of work.

I hope they push Casey to the extreme. She is lying, and they need to guilt her, big-time, into telling the truth. Poor baby Caylee, deserves better than she got from that loveless shrew.

The family needs to stop believing in fairy-tales, and make Casey tell the truth. She’s their daughter,..they know what to do to get the truth out of her. It’s up to them to get justice for Caylee. Casey is a lost cause, and the Anthony’s need to accept it, as painful as that might be for them.

It’s time to do the right thing! Make her talk! She is a lying piece of garbage,..who would does not care how much she hurts them,…by holding out false hopes. Turn about is fair play. Bring that baby home, one way or the other!!!

I saw the items found by bloggers but do not feel they pertain to this case. However, does anyone know if any of Caylee’s clothes, swimsuits, shoes, etc. are missing? Assuming most of you are in Florida thought perhaps you might have heard.

Do I think Casey is involved in her daughter’s disappearance, YES…do we have absolute proof of that..NO, but if I were a betting person it sure doesn’t look well for her given the outright lies that have been proven, lack of emotion, etc.etc.etc… And if Caylee is found alive, I will sing God’s praises! Personally however, I wish this was a blog about searching for the truth, discussing ideas, latest news, etc. without slamming other people for their differences of opinion. Do I care if someone else on here is family or attorney, or ?? No, I would welcome them, including Cindy Anthony, as long as they speak the TRUTH. That’s just my 2 cents worth anyway for what it’s worth…

We try to Therapist, but sometimes it gets hard to openly talk when we feel there is a good chance we could be helping Team Casey, when we speak.

Let’s wipe the slate clean, and discuss this case as adults. I too want Caylee to be found alive, but the facts that are being told to the public by the authorities suggest that Caylee is no longer alive.

What if they don’t find a body but they have all the DNA evidence needed to convict Casey, will you believe it then? God, more than anything I would hope that Caylee is alive but more facts point to her being dead.

My reasoning for not trusting the police is the have been reacting on this slowly.

Cindy went to Tony’s apartment to get Casey on July 16th don’t you think she would have seen Caylee or something that belonged to Caylee at the apartment. The neighbors also said they stopped seeing Caylee around mid June.

But not everything will be reported. It is like smoke and mirrors Dakdude. That is what an investigation is about. There is always two sides good/evil, those who know the truth/ those trying to find the truth. If they suspect releasing something is going to tip off those who know the truth already, they will change tactics or colloborate their stories differently. Do you happen to know if the police are searching the remote area that Casey was thought to be at when Casey went missing? I know the police are denying that they discovered that area but I’m curious as to whether it’s a fact or not… the only way it would be true is if the police sent a search team out. (Not the psychics… I don’t believe in their psychic power.)

I’m actually kinda wondering that myself…if maybe they’re telling everybody that they’re not looking in these places but in reality they are. It would be nice if they did get either the DNA results back or found something more substantial before Casey has a chance to see the light of day. I’m sure they’re working very hard at this point to make something happen. I just can’t see them lettiing this woman out….becuase let’s be honest it isn’t like she’s gonna search for anything if she gets out.

I’m REALLY getting worried about the police keeping so mum about the results of the DNA. Surely it doesn’t take this long for it to get back. I know they want to complete their investigation but I’m just afraid that Casey will be out of jail. I don’t want her to be out of jail for one frigin minute. My guess is either a dumpster (which would mean landfill at this point) or placed somewhere. As selfish as she is, I don’t think she had the guts to burn the body and I don’t think she buried the body ( too many bugs and grossness for her). Well it seems Casey is not getting out of jail tonight. Police say it has to do with the home confinement arrangements. Could it be possible that the DNA results are in, and the police are getting ready to charge her with homicide.

Mandi is right about the vacation date. The week the parents went away was probably the first time Casey had to care for Caylee by herself. Keep in mind Casey did not have a JOB she stole from her mother and her friends. I believe Cindy or George when they say they never met or spoke to the nanny, because there never was a nanny. Cindy knows that just read her myspace.com and she stated how she cared for Caylee, put food in her mouth, took her to the doctor’s when she was sick, and most of all loved her. Then she went on to say how ungrateful her daughter was. I think when Casey read what her mother wrote about her stealing, and not being a mother to Caylee she went insane, and did the unthinkable to Caylee.

Caylee is entitled to benefits from her dead father. First Casey would need to idenify the father. but we would need to swab the mouths of all the guys Casey knew, so we probably will never know who Caylee’s father is. I think Casey really doesn’t know either because if she did she would snatch up that SS check in a New York minute.

I too just read Cindy Anthony’s July 3rd myspace posting and now I know for sure that Cindy knows that her daughter is a liar and deceitful. People who have to lie and betray in order to get around in the world are not good people. Cindy and George probably lost control of Casey at a very young age… probably catering to her cuteness and instead of recognizing the problem and getting her the help she needed, they enabled her to progress in to bigger lies as Casey matured. Okay first of all I am not saying Casey is innocent I just don’t believe she killed her daughter. yes she is guilty of the lies she told for what ever reason she did I wouldn’t have a clue. As for looking for her noone has 100% proof that she NEVER went looking for her daughter just because of the whole partying crap everyone focused on. Noone knows why all this happened, maybe it wa the Tony relationship or jealousy of her mother supposedly caring more for Caylee than her. I personally do think there the Zenaida interview was 100% convincing, for all I know she just wanted media attention because of her name the Sawgrass apartment coincidence is just too hard to swallow. And since that was the Zenaida they talked to out a several in the Orlando area shows me lack of a serious investigation. Poor Zenaida can’t get a job well neither can I can I blame it on Casey too.

Dakdude, read your post over where you try to explain your thinking on why Casey didn’t kill Caylee. You seem to shift the blame on everyone else but Casey. As I mentioned yesterday I have a lot of law enforcement in my family and my son works for ‘Children’s Protective Services’ I can tell you that they do a through investigation without letting the public in on everything they do. They go over ever piece of evidence then rule things out. You just keep harping on the same thoughts over and over.

But we do have an eyewitness account from a roommate who said she never even mentioned Caylee being missing. Tony also told this same story to the police. This so-called ‘mother’ never told her parents the girl was missing. No friends have come forward–think about that—not one single person has come forward, saying that Casey told them Caylee had been kidnapped. Not one?

Another issue regarding the supposed kidnapping is that we’ve heard two opposite “truths.”

One, that Casey knows where Caylee is, and she’s safe and sound because the kidnapper truly loved Caylee and wanted to adopt her for her own (I heard Cindy say that this is what Casey told her).

Two, that the family (and others) would be in danger of being harmed if Casey told the authorities the location/full info on the kidnapper.

Both of these cannot be true, which points to the idea that neither is true.

I believe in our system of law and order, which does include the idea of innocence until proven guilty. Normally, we don’t hear many details of a crime until the trial. This case is different–surely you recognize this fact.

This is different because a child is missing. One person knows where she is. That one person refuses to disclose where the child is.

This makes it quite difficult for the public to offer her “innocent until proven guilty” ‘status.’ Surely you can understand this?

I don’t think anyone ‘wants’ to believe that little Caylee is dead. It would be nice to know that everyone is wrong and she’ll just walk up to her grandparents door. However, the unfortunate thing is that the evidence that we do know about unfortunately points inthe direction of a homicide or accidental homicide. I personally believe that what happened to Caylee was an accident. That does not mean that Casey is free from blame becuase if what happened to Caylee turns out to have been an accident then why didn’t she call 911….why did she not do anything to try and help her daughter? Why lie and keep it a secret for a freakin month??? No mother who loves their child does that. My belief is that whatever happened to Caylee was convenient for her. No more baby=freedom in Casey’s eyes.

Yeah alot of good it did too get rid of her daughter just for a relationship. Just because of lies and suppossed decompostion evidence doesn’t prove 100% to be a homicide.

As for what this blog title says about her getting her way again I have to say she isn’t.

There is only one other theory that I can think of, and that is if Casey dated or knew someone within the police force who was involved with a shady crowd…(in on it) drug pushing maybe. If someone truly does have this baby over a deal that went wrong this is the only scenario I can think of which would even be plausible and could make sense. But it is also a long shot.

I’ve thought about that too but then I run into a brick wall with it, realizing that drug dealers are not known for wanting to care for two-year old children. If they wanted something to “hold onto,” why not just go get Casey’s car? Cars don’t talk, don’t require care, and car thieves don’t even usually get jail time.

Guess where Casey will be staying when she is bailed out? Her parents house. That doesn’t make any sense to me. She said she is scared to talk about who has Caylee because her family and Caylee will be harmed. Well isn’t she setting herself up by staying at her parents house on Hopespring Drive in Orlando. Therapist….Going back to the other case I have followed (Mccann), it was a very prominent thing in the underworld for criminals to be involved in smuggling and have connections to all sorts of money making endeavors. It was extremely talked about in the Mccann case. And I found out following it that Portugal has more children go missing than any other country, South Africa is the hub of most slavery abductions, and Belgium is the one country that has the highes paedo count for those children. There is crime everywhere…and not all intentions of criminals are good ones.

I read that if she were to skip town the BH would be on the line to owe all that money themselves. I think she will do something when she gets out that will create doubts in the minds of her family and the bounty hunters that Caylee is dead. Whether it is a phone call or something she says by accident. Every word she says will be taped by the bounty hunters. the tapes will be played and replayed over and over looking for inconsistent statements.

I heard it said on one of the news networks that with the BH being on all the TV shows he’s benefited for over a couple of million dollars in adverting alone of himself and his new show.

Hey Mntt just because the BH told Nancy Grace it was only about 10 minutes before his daughter wa found and tonight with same story and not giving an amount of time til they found his daughter does not constitute a lie just because someone thinks it seems longer. Now if he said tonight it was 15, 20 or even 30 minutes then you have a case to call hom a liar.

That some woman was charged with childneglect and DUI and her bond was only set at $24,000. Thats why I believe Casey was mistreated on the bond.

This same woman lied and said she hadn’t been drinking and refused to take a breath test and she worked for DCF.

A sighting days after the abduction in which the child said her name was Maddy…” they took me from my Mummy” , “They took me from my holiday”. Never acted on this at all. I think Dakdude is right. It’s going to be difficult because the BH will probably draw a thin line between police and the attorney who brought him here. I don’t think Casey’s attorney is looking for the truth…he’s looking to do a good job for his client whether she’s lying or not. So, the more he can make it look like she’s helping the better for the defense case.

The defense is always looking for angles and he doesn’t have a good case if she gets charged soon so Casey’s attorney is trying to find ways to build one while she’s out of jail. I would think the bounty hunter would have to conduct each visit to each room as though we do in the lab when performing what they call a “chain of custody”. This is when someone is asked to have lab work and give blood and urine for a job application or joining the police force etc…. The bathroom is checked beforehand and after, the water turned off and jackets left outside. Off chance that they would bring a urine sample in from someone else in their pocket knowing full well there will be something found out. The BH should check each and every room she goes to unaccompanied to make sure no notes are left behind… Same principle involved.

Scott made up elaborate lies to Amber such as: “I’m calling you from Paris.” (The police told her that call came from his cellphone in Modesto, his neighborhood.) Scott did not want the responsibility or burden of a wife or son (Connor) and, true sociopath that he is, got rid of them to make way for Amber Frey. Casey Anthony is obsessed with her “New boyfriend Tony” and NEVER mentioned Caylee to him when they lived together. Her jail calls were desperate attempts to “Give me Tony’s phone number.” “Do you have Tony’s number? Can you get it for me?” NEVER a mention of Caylee. Because Caylee is gone.. I did see on one of the site’s pictures of Caylee and Amy’s brother side by side and there was an amazing resemblance. Amy is the friend who Casey stole the $700.00 from. If Amy’s brother is indeed Caylee’s father, that may be the reason why Amy is reluctant to take legal action against Casey.

A bounty hunter is someone who apprehends criminals not someone who frees them. Setting a criminal free it just too much especially when you’re doing it to get television time.

I don’t think so unless the charge is murder and they better have some damn good evidence to back it up because if Baez gets a speedy trial and it goes to court and for some odd reason she is found not guilty then the are screwed even if they found a body later. I think they need to let her out continue with the investigaton to find Caylee and spend less time trying to keep confined, because all this BS is not helping them. Catherine what would keeping her in jail prove or do for anyone. Everybody who talks about this case makes her sound like monster and a serial killer and serial killers don’t even get this kind of publicity and outpour from the community.

I still don’t see the judge logic as the amount of the bail. First of all she isn’t a danger to herself or anyone else and not having a job doesn’t make her a criminal, she has no prior crininal record which really pisses me off with LE because there have been people with more serious charges than her and they had previous criminal records(of course none were murder).And neither has she as far as the charges go

The only reason she has such a high bail is because the judge took the decomposing body evidence in to equation even though she wasn’t charge with anything related to the evidence. I wouldn’t be surprised if she is not found guilty and Caylee is found alive that she files a lawsuit ot the effect of the high bond.

Besides the obvious (that you are blindly overlooking), do you not understand that not knowing where your child is for 30+ days is a crime?

She is the child’s only parent. Parents are held responsible for the safety of their children. Is her child safe? That’s the question authorities are trying to determine.

When the police are called and told a child is missing, it is their duty to do whatever is in their power to find the child, and this includes setting a high bond for a woman who refuses to tell what happened to her child and/or refuses to tell the location of the child.

The police would gladly let her go and drop all charges if she would show them that Caylee is safe and sound.

Don’t blame the authorities, whether a judge or police, for doing their job and doing their best to try to find an innocent child who is missing. This is what we pay them to do–protect the (truly) innocent, such as Caylee, not protect a mother who will not disclose the location of her child.

It is their job to get the truth out of this so-called “mother,” so they can locate the innocent one.

So let me ask this. A mother who drives a car while intoxicated with the child in tha back seat collides with another car gets arrested, lies and says she hasn’t been drinking and refusing to cooperative with LE walks out on $24000 bail is justifiable than Casey having a $500000 bail, give me a break.

A mother pleaded no contest and was sentenced in Jacksonville to probation on charges she left her 2-year-old daughter alone for 2 1/2 weeks while she was in jail.

Dakeysha Lee, 23, had been charged with child abuse and child neglect and could have received up to 10 years in prison. She was sentenced to 1 1/2 years of probation.

Her daughter, Breanna Janay Lee, now 3, was found by a relative lying nude in a baby’s bathtub watching television. She was caked with dried ketchup and jelly, and the floor was covered in broken eggs, urine and feces. The girl drank from a toilet to survive, authorities said.

No I’m just saying that the rules of justice (bonds fines etc) should apply to all with the same charges. It should not be up to that judge.

I guess if this happened in a different county she would be home right now.

Well she’s been locked up for a month and hasn’t said diddly squat except the first couple of days. And the high bond was set on basis of the yet to be unproven evidence of a suppossed body in the trunk on a child neglect charge. So if they are using that in context of the high bound and associating with child neglect then if they do charge her with homicide then they better drop the child neglect charges as they are relating the homicide evidence with the charge and if that true then charging her with neglect and murder that would be technically charge her the twice for the same thing

I don’t have any reason as to why she lies thats her issue. People have been known to keep silent about something and still be innocent its called the 5th, because it seems anything she says truthe or lie people are going to make a case and issue like the already have.

NO, LE isn’t concerned about looking bad if Casey speaks to the BH; rather, they are concerned that the info will be kept a secret.

In other words, if she speaks to the BH (or someone else on the outside), then they might not be able to find Caylee.

That’s suggesting that because something is opposite, it shares the same components, which is not true.

Without white, we would not have the opposite color, black. But it does not follow that white contains black. It does mean, however, that we understand each color better because of the opposite to use as comparison.

As far as my opinion as her not going to talk, is that she’s not talking to the police she is canceling talks alot with her family, and that doesn’t sound like someone who is even thinking about talking, but like someone who has no problem with isolating themselves from everyone. Hell she gets 3 meals a day a little for tv and rec and you really think she cares. She probably realizes that even if she talks getting out won’t mean much since pretty much all her friends won’t have anything to do with her.

If Casey is psychotic or has emotion disorders then secluding her self away from everyone and not communicating would become more frequent, trust me as someone who does have emotional disorders I get that way alot. No if they do can get an eval suggesting that and get a motion to have treated for it she may become for social and talk.

I’m not sure either. But being upset if mom gets out and wamting to lynch her like some people do not neccessarily on this but but others isn’t going to help.

Check the laws–we’ve already considered this issue and have determined that an emotional problem is not a defense against harming a child.

Nobody can prove she purposely and intentionly hurt her child or even that the child has been harmed at all.

That still doesn’t make the mom guilty of personally harming the child or still even that whoever has the child harmed her.

I can really see them holding her for the lying and false statements just not child neglect without $100 percent proof the child is being neglected, just because she is missing and the mom didn’t report it immediately. For all we know she could be sitting in a house with someone she knows and being very well cared for without mom knowing.

Well, it seems the Florida bail bondsman may in fact back out of the deal. He is not convinced that Casey will not run.

I think the BH is going to be driving Casey back to jail. She is not going to tell him anything. Why, you ask? Because she is responsible for her child’s death.

Wow… I just signed on and read back a couple hours of comments and all it is is Dakdude giving his ideas, thoughts and theories with no hard facts to backup his beliefs. It’s all a “theory or thought” for him… thank goodness that’s not how the police work or they would be out there running in circles like the keystone cops. Dakdude doesn’t think the police need Casey’s help to find Caylee… I’m not sure what he expects them to do.. go door to door searching all of Florida then move on to the next state? I hate to see you guys up against someone who mistrusts all law enforcement… you’ll never change his mind so you’re just beating your head against a wall trying to convince him he’s not logically thinking this through.

The bottom line is that, I trust the Judges, Prosecutors and Police who have degrees and years of experience in Law enforcement and are versed in psychology and criminal justice as apposed to Dakdude who, as far as I know, only has his computer, TV and his own thoughts for resources.

What I’m hearing from the rest of you are facts that are being reported by the police and how you feel those facts relate to Casey being guilty of doing something to her daughter. Good job with your logical thinking!

Good practice for me. This is my living. I teaching college English and writing, which includes teaching the logical fallacies. Reading illogical arguments also helps us sharpen our own skills.

Catherine — Hi. This is the first I’ve heard of the BH possibly backing out. If he does, it’ll be hard to convince me that it wasn’t all planned out as such. If he backs out, the game cost him nothing, and he gets all that free publicity. Of course, he has already interfered with the entire process and procedures.

Somehow it has helped to discuss this with others. I think people all over the USA are just brokenhearted over this missing child.

The police have sealed off an area in the Jay Blanchard Park. This is the area that the bloggers found the articles of clothing that just happen to be a size 5 the police took. Guess who wears a size 5? They also found a gas can just like the one Casey took from her father’s shed.

Get the truth serum ready and shoot this little bitch up until she talks.

Well at least something positive is happening Catherine & that’s good to hear. But I heard earlier on Nancy Grace show that police have totally discounted the clothing & items found by the bloggers, but you’re hearing something different sounds like.

I think the BH, attorney & family have hatched a plan to circle the wagons and come up with a scape goat for Casey to point the finger at! They have to come up with a cohesive defense and this is their opportunity to do just that.

Like I said earlier, put her in a locked room for an hour with Nancy Grace and I’ll bet Nancy comes out first with news…LOL
