Bigfoot stories are right up there with Nessie sightings, immensely entertaining and usually quickly discredited. That does not stop intrepid hunters of the elusive beasts though. And on Wednesday three ‘Bigfoot’ aficionados claimed that they have an actual Bigfoot body to show the world.
The three adventurers Matthew Whitton, Rick Dyer, and Tom Biscardi have scheduled a press conference on Friday in California, where amongst other things they are going to release DNA evidence.
The website http://www.searchingforbigfoot.com contains a number of teasers to lure the press.
The creature was found by Matthew Whitton (AKA Gary Parker) and Rick Dyer (residents of Georgia) in the woods in northern Georgia. (The exact location is being kept secret to protect the creatures.)
They go to explain that it stands seven feet seven inches tall, weighs in around 700 pounds, and its feet are some 16 inches long.
If I was in the Palo Alto area I certainly would be there on Friday, it is either a great and very elaborate hoax, or the end of a very long hunt. Which it is I guess we will find out when the scientific community gets its hands on the actual body, assuming that is, that the body doesn’t mysteriously disappear! As in ‘the other Bigfoot’s must have come back to bury their own’!
