		<description>If an affair such as the Edwards-Hunter caper had been in Europe, people would have just shrugged and asked what's new. Over there, it's expected and, in most instances, accepted. Not so here. Our politicians are held to much higher standards and if they err (and caught) the demise of their political future is immediate. Such is John Edwards' fate. The losers in this mess are his family, especially his wife Elizabeth who already has serious problems of her own in battling cancer.
My opinion of him would be worse than it is now if I knew he had prior affairs.</description>
