Perhaps we should home school more of our children or support private schools of choice. That seems to be successful. It is a long way from the public schools that taught our children when our nation was young and most teachers were dedicated. How dumb is it when there is no more art, music, or physical education program in many schools but they have million dollar sports teams? The corrupt and unionized government educational system along with political school boards not only takes a ton of our money but spreads it out among a huge bureaucracy with a little trickle coming down to our children. The whole system needs to be changed by some common sense folks.
