After more than an hour with an Orange County grand jury, George Anthony has completed his testimony. Anthony appeared somber as he waited for the elevator to take hm back downstairs. All the while he held a plastic folder with his missing granddaughter Caylee Marie Anthony’s picture on the front.

“Mr. Anthony answered all the questions he was asked,” said his attorney Mark NeJame, “Beyond that we’re really not allowed to comment.”

We’ve also seen the canine handler whose cadaver dog “hit” on the back of Casey Anthony’s car and the Anthony’s back yard.

One court deputy said she believes there are about a half dozen witnesses to testify. It’s also believed that this is the only case the grand jury is hearing.

FOX 35 interviews Cindy Anthony

In an exclusive sit-down interview, FOX 35 reporter Holly Bristow asked Cindy Anthony, mother of Casey, what she planned to do while the grand jury met on Tuesday. “I’m going to be wherever Casey is,” she said. “I want to make sure if she’s re-arrested, that I’m able to give her one last hug, in case I can’t do that for a while.”

When asked circumstantial evidence which could be presented to the grand jury, she responded, “George is not concerned. I am not concerned. We’re just gonna pray that people have the right sense tomorrow to listen to what they have,” she added.

When asked if she ever had any doubts about her daughter’s innocence, Cindy responded emphatically, “No!”

ugh……she better give one last hug…..it’s gonna be A LOOOOONG time!

Baez released a prepared statement to the media when pressed for Casey’s state of mind leading up to the grand jury’s ruling.

“Casey Anthony has been prepared for the worst, but has always been hoping for the best. Although she would be naturally nervous and very upset about going back into confinement, she is prepared and has been for that if it happens.”

“NATURALLY NERVOUS AND VERY UPSET”….WHAT ABOUT the feelings for her CHILD???? I’ve never seen this girl “naturally nervous or upset” about ANYTHING SO FAR.

New lead attorney for Casey?

Should Casey face a homicide charge, she could be going to trial with a new lead counsel. FOX 35 has learned from the president of the Criminal Defense Attorney’s Association that Baez might not be permitted to represent Anthony in a first degree murder trial.

Richard Hornsby said Baez does not meet the standards set forth by attorneys in capital cases. To be lead counsel you must:

have had five years experience as an attorney
served as co-counsel on two death penalty cases
demonstrated proficiency and commitment which exemplify quality representation in capital cases
However, Baez could still be part of a legal team. Todd Black, spokesperson for Baez, offered this response on Monday:

“It will not change the commitment of the Baez Law Firm and they are fully prepared if an indictment is handed down to represent Ms. Anthony to the fullest.”

also, again , i said earlier could the ‘found” dress be a ploy or plant job from the bb’s camp?

Not only are you practically my next door neighbor(about 55 miles to Duncannon) you are close to my age of 62.
You are also apple country and right now it is harvest time. I have been making apple sauce in big pot(kitchen smells like cinnamon, sugar and spice and apples) for freezing while going back to the blog. PA does have the best apples, sorry WA..

Article in Fox says that Baez might be forced of case as lead attorney because of lack of experience.
Jeesh, I really felt M and BB deserved each other. hate to see somebody take over with a set of brains.

Also i think the dress just may be a PLOY or a plant by someone working for bb, wanting people to think Caylee was possibly sexually assaulted and then killed.

WTF?!?! No matter what, even if Casey has been unfairly judged (which I don’t believe), how in the heck can Cindy compare that to a missing todder who has been scientifically determined to be deceased! And missing! Probably in a friggin swamp!

Even worse–the fact that she actually believes Casey could in any way be viewed as a victim.

The REAL list of victims has been growing and growing: Amy, the guys M stole from, M’s grandparents, her own wacky family, CAYLEE, Caylee’s true father, Caylee’s OTHER grandparents who never got the chance to know her, Tim Miller, Lawson, and every person working on the case.

Has C even thought about the fact that they probably can’t even use dental records because the precious sweet Caylee was too fricking young to have ever even gone to a dentist!

I’m disgusted and cannot WAIT until tomorrow. I don’t even drink but I’m thinking about getting some champagne to toast the indictment.
