Saw this earlier today on Showtime. Pretty good indie film and takes me back to the days of ditching class to go to the matinée to watch She's Gotta Have It and Hollywood Shuffle. Living around Pasadena and L.A you'll notice a lot of familiar spaces and places (Cliff's Used Books on Colorado Blvd. for one). Characters and story line are actually very good and the story line coherent...I mean when was the last time you found yourself being able to relate to a movie about the inarticulate language of love? I'm going to look for this on DVD and add it to my collection. Cool Stuff!

Wonderful indie movie with very real characters. Just think, 20-30 years ago "black" movies were usually one-dimensional blacksploitations or overly sappy
Miss Jane Pittman and Roots dramas.
These characters are real, just like the very real black people, biracial people, white people, Asian people and other people that I know in the world. Also, I must say the female lead Catherine is wonderful! What a great female lead!

I thought the movie was one of the better "indie" movies that I have seen. The main characters were cast perfectly, and they plot was well developed. I would definitely say the film is worth watching.
