there is a generic vaccine. The bad news is that it doesn't stop the disease (which might have a different immunity profile than the common virus). There isn't a lot of it, and to make a specific vaccine will take months.

However, there is hope that the generic vaccine will lower the death rate by giving partial immunity...

The best protection will be old fashioned quarantine...see Kobie's link.

My nano-medication definitely can cure H5N1 bird flu infected humans completely. In fact, all flu-infected humans won't die by my nano-medication. While, Taiwanese government is that corrupt and I can't have any support for more tests and trials.

Nano-medication is to kill flu viruses by physical reaction, instead of chemical reation like western drugs.

Good article.
H5N1 continues to spread like a bad weed or HIV. Like HIV there is no vaccine. Like HIV prevention is simple and the best course of action.

Unlike HIV so far H5N1 is not easily passed from person to person. There have only been a few cases. Unlike HIV you can get it from handling or being around birds - no intimate contact required.

Goju is right - The CDC, WHO and Health and human services have said "There is no vaccine. There is a 4 to 5 month lag time after H5N1 becomes transmissible between humans and is isolated" (Source: http://www.dshs.state.tx.us/comprep/pandemic/CDC%20vaccine%20planning%20update%20November%2026%202007.pdf)
Because there will not be enough vaccine for everyone on July 23rd 2007 HHS released guidelines for who gets it first (Source:http://www.hhs.gov/news/press/2008pres/07/20080723a.html)

Just like many people do not get the flu - you do not have to get H5N1. There are steps that will help protect you, your family and business.
Please visit http://www.pandemicflu.gov/ or an active Flu blog site to get questions answered.
