Athanassios Arvanitis apparently is a man one doesn’t want to piss off. Neighbors say that Arvanitis and his girlfriend, 25 year old Adamantia Karkali, got into a heating argument when he got hold of her dog and cut its head off with a meat cleaver and then turned on her stabbing her and beheading her too.
The victim worked as a teacher at a local village. Arvanitis was a cook at a local restaurant on the island.
The 31 year old Greek man was spotted later walking around parading her head like a trophy around the tourist island of Santorini yesterday.
A policeman said, “The suspect was spotted walking around, carrying the victim’s head and telling the astonished villagers not to stop him. They knew he has psychological problems… but they didn’t expect he would reach this point.”
When police were called, they arrived at the scene and attempted to handcuff him. The suspect swung the knife at the officer and threw the girl’s head into the patrol car and took off. The officer was only slightly injured.
He crashed the car into a motorcycle carrying two female doctors who suffered multiple fractures. Police officers fired five shots at Arvanitis to stop him and one stray bullet struck an innocent bystander who was only injured slightly. Arvanitis was hit and then taken to an island hospital where he is undergoing surgery.

They said he killed the dog by cutting it’s head off before he killed his girlfriend.
Is beheading becoming the new fadd to killing someone? is this something that the muslim exstremist have started and now the world is taking this on as some kind of new trend to kill whoever you are mad at?
Just like the stabbing in Canada where the man stabbed an innocent man then beheaded him, what the hell is wrong with people these days. They should have shot both those bastards and made sure they were dead. Instead of shooting him then patching him up, they should have stuck their boots in his face and made sure he was dead. Why do societies tolerate scum like this? why do they allow these predetors to roam the streets and pray on victims like this? It is time to put a stop to this nonsense and stop letting the innocent continue to be victims. It is time to let the victimizer become the victim.
why is it that the animals are always the first to suffer. what the hell did the dog do apart from probably have to put up with this nutter-maybe it is a blessing given the option of living with the waster. Known mental problems?!?!?!? If this girl was my family I would throw all the poeple who knew of this man’s case/potential in the arena of full explanation!!-
To be honest if someone beheaded my dog in front of me they would have no choice but to kill me next because I would have no problem doing the same to them-wish I could get my hands on this dipstick!-let him die slowly!
