Caylee Anthony has been missing since June 9th but wasn’t reported until last week as missing. Her mother Casey Anthony has been arrested and held in jail under a $500,000 bond for child neglect and criminal obstruction for allegedly lying to authorities.
FOXNews.com is reporting that Casey Anthony’s attorney, Jose Baez reported late Tuesday that they received a credible tip that a small child boarded a flight to Atlanta at the Orlando International Airport matching Caylee’s description.
They believe this tip to be more credible since they said the little girl pronounced her last name the way her grandparents claim Caylee says it, as Caylee “Antony” instead of Anthony leaving the letter “h” out.
Cindy Anthony confirms the report of the tip received Tuesday. She said it was from a woman that lives in Orlando and the message was left on her voicemail. Cindy said she called the woman back and they talked.
The caller claims that the child boarded the flight with an older woman. The woman told her how the little girl pronounced her name when she was asked what her name was. They asked the little girl her age and she said three. Caylee will be three next month.
Volunteers in Orlando Florida continue passing out about 50,000 fliers reporting Caylee’s disappearance. A local foundation and business owner were offering a new reward of a combined $125,000 for any information about Caylee’s disappearance or whereabouts, MyFOX Orlando, reports. The reward will be in effect for at least the next three months.

Most, if not all, people who thought they saw a missing child would call the police not leave a voice mail for the grandparents of the missing child. I don’t buy this at all. I think it is all a ploy to try to distract from the police’s findings (i.e., the smell of human decomposition in the mother’s car, etc.).
If this were true, then it seems to me that others in the airport and on the flight would have noticed the missing child as well. This is a highly publicized case, so at this point, the child should be recognized by most people watching the news.
How is it that this “caller” is the only person that saw the child board the flight? And why did this “caller” not notify the police? That would have been the very first thing I would have done if I had spotted the missing little girl.

Why is there no description of the person who has supposedly taken Caylee? If there is a kidnapper then why dont we have a description…we dont because I dont believe there is one.
I have a hard time believing that some one spotted Caylee for one if I saw a little girl that looked like a child that had been kidnap I would be calling the police on the spot. I think this is just something to side track our thinking of Caylee as dead as we all know she is. I strongley there is more to this and the family is not talking I think they are trying to protect their daughter cause they know what happen to Caylee. I pray that this little girl is found alive but like so many and the time length we all know what the out come will be.
aside from the other questionable aspects of this alleged tip, i think it’s worth pointing out that most children at that age don’t understand the concept of age like adults do. at that age, we only repeat what we are told. if she is 2, most likely she will respond “2″ when asked the question. why would she say she was 3 years old, if she is only 2. how many toddlers do you know that decide to round up on their own?
Why isn’t Grandma Cindy being charged with obstruction of justice charges? After listening to the audio of yesterday’s bond hearing, it seems obvious that the grandparents (both of whom, by their professions, know the smell of human decomposition) know more than they’re telling. Casey Anthony seems to have inherited her mother’s High Drama penchant — the grandparents knew when they retrieved Casey’s car that someone dead had been in it, and the family had itself a little pow-wow to get their stories straight before the deputies arrived to begin questioning Casey. Why isn’t there more attention being giving to the fact that Cindy’s timeline of what she last saw her granddaughter was incorrect and has changed, *after* police pointed out to her that video she provided to them of the little girl reading a book was taken on Father’s Day, June 15? The Anthony family appears to be trying to control this story, even as it’s beginning to fall apart around them. (The best thing the Anthony family could do for themselves, if they are innocent and if the little girl is still alive, is to get Grannie Cindy to shut up and stop talking to the media all about herself and how this is affecting her. She’s coming across as increasingly deranged.)
Excellent forensics posters. This case is so bizarre it begins to cause confusion as to what’s real and what’s not real. Aside from the dark skies and muddy waters, a beautiful child is missing. I agree, the more the grandmother talks, the crazier she appears. And her denial of the facts makes me ill. As for Casey, I suspect she will soon be facing murder charges. May Caylee rest in the arms of Angels where ever she may be.
I feel this family is taking a page out of the McCann book. React and Distract using the media instead of providing full cooperation with police. I think Casey’s parents believe their daughter because they cannot handle the terrible truth.
This phone call is a distraction from investigation and the Anthony’s lawyer leaked it to the media before providing police with information.
I believe Casey’s daughter died due to abuse or neglect. Apparently mom had some sort of pseudo job at a club with her boyfriend. Did she get caught up in the fantasy of having no child and kind or forget to take care of her daughter? It seems she is given to flights of fancy.
All this time her parents believed their granddaughter had a babysitter, where was Caylee when mom was away?
The head detective says one photograph showed of the girl showed possible signs of abuse — bruising on arms and a mark under her eye. I think Caylee may have fended for herself a lot more than Grandma and Grandpa want to believe.
So, there is a missing child, you are “99%” sure you see her in an airport… You approach and talk to her… She TELLS YOU her name is “Caylee” - the name of the missing girl… AND YOU DON’T CALL THE COPS RIGHT AWAY????!!!

Yeah it’s getting kind of fishy with the family now too. Surely this “credible tipster”, “Caylee” and “Mystery Woman” would be on video surveillance at the airport.
I have theory, but I sure hope I’m wrong. I think Casey was so caught up with her fantasy life and boyfriend that she forgot about the little girl. She probably left her in the car. Caylee probably died in the car from the heat. I think she was already dead and decomposing before Casey realized she’d forgotten her. She knew she would be in trouble and buried the body to hide what happened.
I think this tip is untrue. If Caylee was asked her last name and she replied that means she was not drugged or lying, so she would be able to even at the age of 3 tell someone that she wants her mom which would throw up a red flag at an airport.
I agree too there is nothing but lies coming from this case usually when you do something bad you will lie to cover up your but and did anyone here about the new concrete slab in thier yard??? I just wanted to point out that from what I have read/and heard on the Today show this tipster person did try and call the police and was not seeing anything in the news about what she had reported or any change in the investigation that was being made “public” that led her to believe they (the police).. were following her lead and/or believed her. So she then tried to contact the grandmother.. which took another 24 hours to get though, after she had already called Police.
And also she saw the child at the airport on July 2nd, Caylee was reported missing July 5th. At the time the woman and her family said they meet and talked to a little girl named Caylee while waiting for a plane, she was not at the time “a missing child”. They had no idea she was a missing child while they talked to her. They returned to Orlando from their trip to the reports of a missing child named Caylee. They probably then said oh hey remember that little girl at the airport.. didn’t she say her name was Caylee?
With all that said, unfortunately I really think its probably a family with good intentions that maybe talked to a child that in hindsight they think looked like her but probably really wasn’t.

I like the idea of digging up the entire yard on the outside chance the body is there. Even jackhammering all concrete whether it looks old or new, but then there is the problem that they really would be stoned stupid to bury the child in their own backyard.
The fact that the decomp was smelled in the trunk of the car along with dirt and hair makes it look like:
Casey lost it and accidentally killed Caylee in the back yard (where the cadaver dog smelled decomp) and then put the body in the trunk of the car and drove somewhere (after borrowing a shovel from a neighbor) and buried her. And if I were a police detective, I would be trying my best to figure out where she might have taken Caylee to bury her.
Hopefully the credit card receipts (she was apparently using her mother’s credit card like crazy while gone)will have a gas receipt that could lead them to the (ouch!) body.
Because we all know the chances of that person really seeing Caylee are slim to none.

My question is when did this incident happened. The report does not give a date. If this happened back in June, what would make some stranger ask a child her name. What was the circumstance that led a stranger to ask the child her name? This child’s whereabouts has only come into question within the past couple weeks. Was this alleged flight within the past few weeks. The family and the bonehead attorney are so vague. If this really happened, they would have this person talk to the police. They would have a specific date and time. If the child was on this flight, the airline could confirm it. This person does not exist. This is another fabrication on the part of Casey and her family. Do we all remember Susan Smith. This is what this family reminds me of. I agree with Tish. I think Casey left Caylee in the car while shopping or being bombed out of her skull. I believe Casey died as a result and mom and idiot memaw concocted this whole, “the nanny stole my baby” story. God has Caylee, the devil has nice warm place for Casey and Cindy.
Why hasn’t an Amber Alert been issued for this little girl? I mean it hasn’t been confirmed whether Caylee has been killed. Unless, the police know something more than what they are letting on. I just can’t believe that the grandmother is standing behind Casey like this. She has lied about everything. This is supposed to be her child that she loves. And the attorney! When does it become unethical enough to be forced to disclose information that he knows! He said that he understands why Casey is remaining quiet about Caylee. You say that if you would have seen or talk to this little girl at the airport your would have called the cops. I have not found anywhere in the internet where it says when (date) did this witness saw Caylee. This could have happend any time since the last time they saw Caylee and when she was reported missing..
I have a daughter a month or so older than Caylee and my heart broke when I saw this story. I felt so bad for this family to lose a little one like that. Then I noticed the discrepancy in Cindy’s last time she’d seen Caylee. If Casey hadn’t seen her since June 9th how could Cindy have seen her on June 15th. Then there’s the testimony from Casey’s ex-fiance who claims he heard Caylee on June 24th with Casey. I don’t know what happened that led up to Caylee being missing but I think she’s dead and I think Cindy and Casey know what happened.
I TOTALLY agree Tish! I was wondering the same thing the other night! Mom is sort of fantasizing about being free and single again and just sort of neglects to remove her daughter from the car — the CAR is the “nanny”…. This leads to her daughters demise. I think you are right. The more I read about this, the more it seems there was a battle of wills going on between grandmother and mom over Caylee.
I just listened to her phone call from jail. She doesn’t give a care about that child!! Her friend cares more than she does!!

I listened to that conversation too Tish and it sounds to me like Casey was more upset over her being in jail than her daughter’s disappearance. She was more concerned about talking to her boyfriend since she hadn’t talked to him in so long even after she told her friend that he has nothing to do with Caylee missing. I think the whole family has some serious issues. My prayers goes out to little Caylee, I just hope it isn’t too late for her now.
Her complete lack of feeling is beginning to remind me of my ex. He was truly a sociopath. One time when I was worried about something happening to our child, he told me I was stupid, because we could just have another child. If she is like him, they will never get the truth out of her. It means nothing to them to lie. They feel no guilt. They do what serves them best. I do hope that Casey is just hiding the little girl somewhere to punish her family for seeming to care for the little girl more. I could see my ex doing something like that. It’s the only positive outcome I can think of and I so want this child to be ok.
That would probably mean someone was keeping the little girl for her somewhere. They would most likely have seen a news report and come forward by now. I guess that is really not likely.
The phone call from jail following her arrest showed exactly how important her daughter was to her. In one part of it she commented that her parents didn’t care about her at all. “All they care about is finding Caylee” Don’t know whether she caught herself or not because she added to her friend that she only cared about that too. But the minute I heard that statement I knew that Casey was the culprit. I was wondering myself if she didn’t give the child to someone either to upset her family or because Casey had enough being a mother.

No the baby has not been sighted, in desperation our mind with fool us…we want to try and spot her, but she is sadly dead and has been since June 7-9, the decomposition smell is rotting pizza a slice? This case tears me up inside. I hope we know something soon. It sickens me that someone could disregard this little girl and treat her as if she is so unimportant, as her mother does. It’s not fair that this little girl ended up with someone who didn’t treat her as a precious gift. Casey could have given her up for adoption if she didn’t want her. So many people would have given anything to be a parent to this sweet baby girl! Her mother is just too unconcerned about her whereabouts and well being. The airport issue is a no brainer. Go back and check cameras at the airport especially the check in area for whatever flight they were taking. Of course it may be too late now if the authorities didn’t think of it already. Police and FBI should have already spoken with the woman. Have the woman take a lie detector test. In no way did this woman know ahead of time this was a kidnap situation, so she couldn’t have been prepped for it. Check the flight list. FBI should have access to anything they want to look at. Jail the g’mother if she won’t tell them who the caller is and her phone number. Except she probably already has. Maybe the authorities have not moved forward with this. They should have. Zenaida from the apt complex: take the dogs to her present home and have them sniff her home and car. Why all of a sudden can’t she find a job? Why all of a sudden does she need a job, and why was she looking at expensive apartments when she doesn’t have a job? Are she and kids sleeping on the sidewalk? That’s all fishy too. Shirley, great point with the credit cards. They are a roadmap. But her cell phone logs are as well if she made any calls ‘god forbid’ where she left the baby. As far as saying your correct age … my g’kids have said 5 and they were only 3. A lot of kids are wanna be’s. Only adults wanna be younger. They were probably hyping that she was almost three and it stuck in her head. I really can’t see the g’parents involved with the disappearance. Unfortunatly everything they have ever said or done will now be 2nd guessed. Another point of discussion, did Casey every pay Zen by check? Make a phone call to her? Get a picture of her? Where was she dropping Caylee off before she was told to meet her at the apts that Zen’s appliction was at. Did she tell her to meet there to throw Casey off? Was it truly a coincidence? Did Casey notice there were a zillion Zen’s and pick that name so no one would really get hurt, just annoyed when questioned? Did the airport incident come about because someone has an overactive imagination? Is Casey already in another state/country because none of the very important leads were not followed up on? Wouldn’t that be something.
I read on another site that there is a public record of an eviction in Florida filed on a Jesus (whatever the Dad’s last name is) and ZFG? That is a little weird…..maybe Casey was tweaked out and just happened to read it on the net and latched onto the ZFG name? Or is there a wierd tie???
I agree with posters here. Casey must have heard the name Zenaida Gonzales somewhere, or did she flip through a phone book and point to it? She’s used it for over a year, according to Cindy, et al, yet no one ever met her just as no one has ever met the child’s father. Everything is so secretive with her. As one poster here mentioned, why now is she having problems getting a job? Was she unemployed last month that no one will hire her this month? Was she ever a babysitter? Not only was she cleared by police, she wasn’t ID’d by Casey so why can’t she get a job? I too had an ex who is a sociopath and pathological liar, and Casey wears the same mask as he. His lies too were carefully crafted and ridiculous and I feel the same air of incredulous. You look in their faces and see absolutely nothing. They wear a mask and it is vacant. Her lies run so deep and intricate; it just didn’t start this summer. She’s been setting this up for awhile. IMO. I too see a similarity between Casey and Cindy and the way they speak. Think back three years ago when Natalee Holloway went missing and compare Beth and Natalee’s family to Casey and Cindy and the Anthony’s. They are acting more like the Vandersloots than the Holloways acted. There are some pics of Caylee, where although I didn’t see bruises, I did notice the lack of a spark in her eyes. My granddaughter just turned 4 and happy or having a fit, her eyes are on fire. In addition, at 2 going on 3, they were even more so. In her pictures, I don’t see that spark in Caylee’s eyes, and I’ve seen that look before in kids. Despite the cute face and beautiful smiles, something in their eyes is dark, and sad and heartbreaking. Also, I feel what Casey said about Caylee being ‘close’ ‘to home’ (?) was very cryptic. Dig up the yard!!!! She’s close to home alright. Another thing…Casey is gone for a month but she comes home during that time when no family members see her just to borrow a shovel from a neighbor to – dig up bamboo plants? Maybe after Caylee had put in the trunk she drove back to her parents house and she laid Caylee in the playhouse and she tried to dig a spot but found out that digging a hole to bury a body is hard work. The only hard work she’s used to is gyrating her hips dancing in bars.
Caylee is probably in a wooded area close to her house. She then took and dumped her car cause she couldn’t stand the smell.

No matter how upset the grandmother is, the relationship between the grandmother and daughter is the most dysfunctional twist of deceit and lies that has continued over a 21 year period of time. Rather than the grandmother “pussyfooting” around with her daughter, why does’nt she just scream, “what in the hell is wrong with you and where in the hell is my granddaughter? You have killed my granddaughter. Then let’s tape it and see how this daughter reacts to an actual confrontation by either of her parents w/her. Too many people have allowed her to get by w/this behavior for too long. That is why these grandparents no longer have a living grand daughter. No one has ever slapped the crap of her for her continous pathetic lies. I do not believe in physical abuse w/parent & child, but a smack across the face when she had continued lying for 16 years, would have been in order . another thought: How about if the police tell the grandfather (he is the only one in the family with any emotion) to call her daughter’s” bluff” and have him go to the jail sobbing and have scream and crying to his daughter (without grandma there and say “they have found her body, how could you do this to us? and see how the daughter reacts when she thinks she has finally been caught? Will the daughter then come up with the REAL STORY or is that the real story?
They should not let the mother out of jail. I agree with Judy, tell her they found the body and see what she says. They surely would have looked at Airport records by now and if they saw Caylee with a woman at the airport than an AMBER alert would have been issued for sure, so the story is bull. The mother says the baby is close to home. Home could be heaven, her parents house or the house she was staying at. I am shocked they are letting her out of jail tomorrow or possibly even today. She will have to hide because the public will horrass her badly anywhere she goes. Lets see if she’s with her parents looking for her baby as they said she is going to do, I bet she does’t. has anyone checked the families luggage? is there any missing. caseys. backpack or her luggage? i think she put caylee in a trash bag, then in a red suit case. i think she tried to give her clorophorum.(sp) to make her sleep in the car so she could party. the little girl stopped breathing and died. if u look at casseys placements by her cell phone. it looks like she tried to put caylee into the wooded area, then casey went to the airport to try and fly out, couldnt, caylee could be around the airport too in that suit case, then casey went to that moses park? or whatever that parks name is to say her good byes, in her own mind.

When my son was three he wandered off. After 20 minutes of frantic searching, I called the State Police but found him by the time the car full of troopers arrived. Wait a month? Not on your life, or his!

Who else babysat Caylee? The grandmom works, Casey plays, Pops is retired. He spent obviously the most time alone with Caylee, or there had to be another babysitter somewhere.
The grandfather was a cop, do you not think he knows everything to say to his daughter, and the rest of the family. I have not heard him on any interviews. You know how cops are, they look out for one another no matter what.
I think the grandfather of Caylee’s needs to take a moment, take a deep breath and tell his whole family, it’s time to come clean. You can run but you can’t hide from the truth.
It’s going to eat at you for the rest of your lives whether your in prison or not.
What a shame little Caylee didn’t get a proper burial or creamation, and the people that really cared for her didn’t get to mourn her in a human way. Anthony family it’s time to come clean.
Youre overlooking a very important detail. They asked the little girl her name and she said…….”Antony”? Didnt she say a first name? Dont you think that is important? My stepdaughter will be 5 next month and she says shes 4. A 3 year old does not really know when their birthday is and if they do, they dont know that August is the Month after July. They have no concept of time progression, so this child would not know that she was almost 3.
I want this little girl to be alive just as much as anyone. My concern is simply, Casey Anthony is 22 years old. She is a partying immature child at best. How has she murdered and child and hid the body so well that the police force cannot find it? There are genius serial killers that couldnt do that. Why is this child outsmarting the police? It makes you think about the intelligence of our countries police force.
And what if shes really alive somewhere? And they find her? Will they return her to Casey? Murderer or not, she is still an unfit mother who didnt have the common sense to report her child missing and who took her from party to party and let her stay up all night on peoples’ couches. And when Caylee grows up and sees all these old articles shes going to see that her mother didnt want her at first, and that her mother was a sociopath and did not know how to raise her.
It sucks no matter how you chew it. Casey will never admit what shes done or where the child is, whether she SOLD the child, or weather she KILLED the child. If, by some freak chance Caylee is okay her mother will never live this down (because murderer or not, she IS a liar and a theif and no longer has friends) and Caylee will forever be who the public has made her out to be and will always get publicity. Which her mother will love. Its a horrible never ending cycle.
