Caylee’s mother, Casey Anthony, 22, claims she dropped her daughter off with a babysitter that watched Caylee now and then that she identified as Zenaida Gonzalez on June 9 but when she returned that afternoon to pick the child up no one was there. Police that have been working on this case since it has been reported say they have located a woman named Zenaida Gonzalez and she claims she has never heard of Casey or Caylee Anthony. So now detectives are in search of someone else with the same name.
Late Thursday night sheriff deputies from Orange County dug around the back yard belonging to Caylee’s grandmother, Cindy Anthony for more than five hours. Investigators say that they keep coming up with blanks because of the web of lies Casey Anthony has told them making this case difficult for them.
Orange County Sheriff’s Sgt. Jeff Allen, who heads the child-abuse and missing person’s squad, said Thursday, “As we continue to investigate this, we find more consistencies in the mother’s story, so we continue looking for witnesses.
One investigator, Cpl. Yuri Melich said, “Based on the repetitive lies that the defendant has told, we do not know with whom the child is or even if the child is alive. It should be noted that at no time during the above interviews did the defendant show any obvious emotions as to the loss of her child.” Casey Anthony didn’t report her daughter missing until Wednesday but that was only because her mother urged her to. Casey claims she has been investigating her daughter’s disappearance herself instead of calling 911. Two of Anthony’s boyfriends told detectives that she never acted upset and in fact never even mentioned her daughter’s disappearance to them.
Casey and her daughter had lived with the grandmother up until June 9 when she told her mother that she was going to Tampa for work for a few days. Then she told her mother she was going on a mini vacation with some friends and she was taking Caylee with her, so her mother never thought much about them being gone.
Casey Anthony told authorities that she was employed with Universal Studios and gave names of people that could verify it which turned up to be all lies. They say the apartment which she claims to have dropped Caylee off at with the babysitter has been reported vacant for five months now.
The sheriff’s office arrested Casey Anthony and charged her with child neglect, providing false official statements and obstructing a criminal investigation. Orange County Judge John Jordan has ordered her to be held after he denied her bail.
“You left your two year old daughter with a person who does not exist at an apartment you cannot identify and you lied to your parents about your child’s whereabouts,” Jordan said. “You cared so little about your child.”
The grandmother has no idea what made her daughter tell all these lies. “I had no reason to believe they weren’t where they were supposed to be,” said Cindy Anthony. “I don’t know why she fabricated this.”
Caylee’s grandparents are asking anyone who may have seen Caylee in the past 5 weeks to please come forward. They are vowing not to rest until their granddaughter is found.

Where was she supposedly going to work in Tampa? Casey’s mother did not mention Casey packing 5 weeks worth of clothes for her or Caylee. If she lived at her parents’ house, why did the neighbor tell police it was strange for Casey to be at the house and in the backyard alone. The only thing that every focus should be on is finding Caylee. These assumptions and prejudgments on Casey and especially her loving grandparents are just that, prejudgements.
By all accounts given Casey has been an excellent mother. We are not privy to her life, her friends or acquaintances and assumptions will not help at this time.
Given that Cindy has stated her daughter has been nothing but a wonderful mother causes me to think perhaps Casey traumatized by this which would explain her appearance to the media. Her mother has stated she was greatly upset when she spent time with her this past week prior to the arrest. So we should not assume what we do not know.
Perhaps the babysitter’s english was not good, as is common with many people of other nationalities. Could the sitter have taken Caylee with her on a vacation to the sitter’s home country thinking Casey understood what she was saying?
Perhaps there was a miscommunication.
Is someone threatening Casey’s family and Casey is trying to protect them? There are more possibilities than just assuming the worst.
Given her past as a mom, her mom and dad knowing her behavior as a mom since they lived there Caylee’s entire life, that Casey HAS broken down with her mom, this tells me that the easiest assumptions folks are making may be far from the real truth.
How many pepole have the name Zenaida Gonzalez, if that was her real name? A simple search on the internet tells me it’s more common that one might think.
Instead of wasting time blogging about Casey knowing more or that the child has come to harm, why don’t we all do what some of us do? Research. Try to help. Try to keep a good heart and put yourself in Casey and her parents position. What can we do to help?
If something happened to one of my extended family children, of which we have many, I would be there to support the parents although I would be greatly upset, it would be most important to be there, to be positive, to be strong and to look under every stone and pebble.
I believe we should be praying for her to be found, praying for the family and of course Casey.
If there is anything I can help with, I’m there. We have about 15 what we call our adopted kids and now we have 10 little ones from the 15. There is nothing I won’t do to help a child - be they 20+ or a little one.
That’s how we, the public privy only to media and gossip, should be. Let’s not assume the worst - let’s pray for the best.

I am a single mother to 3 children. My youngest is 2 1/2 years old. I was watching Nancy Grace and fell so bad for this family. Whenever I see news that something has happened to a child, I get upset just with the thought that I have children the same age. I’m so over-protected and paranoid about who I have around my children. Wherever Caylee may be, I’m sure that whenever she became separated or allegedly taken from her mother, whom is someone familiar, she was probably scared. I couldn’t imagine not being with and seeing my children everyday. The fact that it’s been 5 weeks, and her mother has consistently lied speaks volumes. My prayers are with her & her family.
What I wonder is, “Where is the father of Caylee?” I find it strange nobody has mentioned this. As for the comment, “Instead of blogging…….how can we help?” I got on myspace looking through comments made by Casey’s friends, and Casey had made comments to friends about getting together and drinking and whatnot. Not to mention there is a comment there from one of the friends that says, “That sounds like it could be fun.” And it is dated July 9th. Along with a slew of others, and no mention of her baby girl being gone……Not looking too good, but I will not judge until we know the entire facts.
It just goes to show…you need a license to drive a car, to shoot a gun, to run a business…but any a**hole can be a parent.

WELL, here we are all blogging while there are no whereabouts of caylee. But did anyone see the grandmother’s demeanor on Geraldo’s show on CNN? I wonder if the grandma could be like that and snippy on national TV, when Geraldo is begging her to tell him how he can help, how she is in real life…Maybe the mother has a reason to hide her child from the grandmother. But what matters is that caylee is safe and sound and only the mother knows that. Other than that, i think it is their personal feud which should be at best left to themselves.
The mother knows more than she is telling police. Usually when a child is missing, a parent will move heaven and earth to find their child. If it had been left to the mother, the child would have never been reported missing. I just think its odd that the grandmother was the one who ended up reporting the girl missing. This mother is had something to hide. Police should be leaning hard on the mother.
It amazes me that it took someone who was such a “wonderful” mother a month to report her child missing. I only hope she sold her or gave her away, at least that way there is a bigger chance that she is still alive.

It has been reported by the Orange County Sheriffs Office to the local media here in Orlando that the childs father had died in a car accident.

I just wonder why mom is able to get together with friends and drink/party, while her baby girl is “MISSING” Partying at the clubs would be the last place anyone would find me if one of my children were missing. But, everybody has their own ways of dealing. This is just an odd way.
Also, I did think it strange, how the neighbors thought it was odd that Casey would be at her parents house, by herself, but she had lived there ever since they moved there? Why would that be odd? Maybe it was the whole shovel thing.

Look at how hard and rough Casey looks and her lifestyle, track record. Lack of work or to keep a job. She had a job—stealing money from others! Just because someone has not publically seen me be abusive or neglectful ot my kids doesn’t mean it isn’t happening. And if Casey is such a wonderful Mom then how come her parents were raising and paying for Caylee. Part of being “a good Mother” is providing support and saftety for your kids andif they had to step in to do this…hello?? Which way do the facts point now?? Look at her parents having to raise, feed, clothe her daughter? Look at that the daughter lived with the grandparents but the Mom was “rarely” there. These, and there are probably many more that we are not aware of, are signs of a real strong probable case of drug addiction, a serious drug addiction and lifestyle.
Her parents need to take action and stop the enabliing as it only keeps her sick mentally and emotionally and further from telling the truth. The parents are still enabling and in denial that anything remotely cruel and devestating like this could happen to them. But even the Father has dropped little hints that can be read between the lines that he does not want to admit it but his daughter has more responsiblility in the disappearaNnce of their beautiful grandchild.
If it were my adult daughter, and I have 3 and 2 of them I had to confront about dtug and alcohol use, and being a recovering alcoholic/drug addict myself, I would withdraw my support for this girl until she starts coming clean with the truth. No private attorney, let her have a Public Defender. No collect pho0ne calls. No stamps for your envelopes while in jail. No money for snacks and stuff. And Casey if you go to prison girl don’t expect us to send you money for snacks and toiletries.
If we want to know where this beautiful child is then it is time to get and stay serious with this young mother. The parents are continuing to cater to her and let her run the show and manipulate the outcome of the invvestigation. Maybe her “investigation” could use a little help from the police and she sure hasn’t had much luck in the past 5 weeks.
Unfortunately, at best this baby was probably sold or traded in order to get drugs or money or both. We all know what the worst case scenario is. But from the way it is going and the longer Casey is able to manipulate this investigation and her Mom getting in the way with outlandish public statements.
No insane distractions to finding this beautiful child can be afforded. Time is precious here. And in whatever way it may be–this beautiful little girl needs and deserves to come home to stay.

Great mother? Who in the world would leave their daughter with someone, find out the child is missing and not do EVERYTHING in her power to find that child? Our local news has confirmed that police have located a shovel that the mom borrowed from a neighbor. Police dogs, after sniffing the shovel, led investigators to a spot in the grandparents backyard. They are continuing to dig.

I totally agree with ghosthunter. She did not want the responsibility of this child. She aparently has just turned 21, and in her myspace comments, there was a friend who made a comment about going out for her 21st birthday, she just wanted to be able to party and not have to worry about a child. She and her parents are hiding something. I am just beside myself, I have 4 of my own, and let me tell you, I would NEVER leave my children with just anyone, and I have the advantage of being able to stay home with them, so we don’t have to send them to a daycare. I simply do not trust strangers. No offense to anyone, but you just do not know what your own family is capable of, let alone strangers.

It might be possible that Grandmother is blackmailing Casey for 5 weeks and told her that she would harm Caylee if Casey tell anyone. I think grandmother’s house should be searched over and interviewed as she seemed overly obsessed with Caylee.

There are several things that could have happened. First of all I don’t think Caylee is dead. The attorney for Casey said that he has information that will clear Casey of any wrong doing. What that is remains to be seen.
The grandma has said that Casey might have been threatened and or the family. Here’s the thing, if this was the situation, Casey should have told the truth from the beginning. Now, you have all this media attention which makes it harder to find Caylee. The police could have kept things quiet. This whole thing is spinning out of control.
If she does have a drug problem, she may have seen a drug deal gone bad, she’s being framed, she owes someone money etc….whatever the case may be she needs to tell the truth now. The longer she waits the less likely Caylee will be found.

Right now I am listening to the bond hearing and there is evidence of a smell of decomposition that was found in the car that Casey was driving. Cadaver dogs have gotten a hit on the trunk and there are traces of dirt, some kind of a stain and the little girls hair in there.
I did not know until today that she has a boyfriend, a lot of stuff is being revealed in this bond hearing and a lot more is coming to light.
The grandparents never met the babysitter that Caylee was supposedly left with. Also, revealed in the bond hearing, a personal friend of Casey’s said that he last spoke to her on June 24th and he remembers hearing her tell Caylee to get off the table. Casey told her brother that she had not seen Caylee in 31 days. The dates just do not add up.

My thoughts…The whole family needs to be thrown in jail; including “alligator tears” granny. Their daughter did something to that little girl, they know it and yet they are protecting her. I feel horrible for Caylee.

I am just heartsick over the entire thing. I get choked up everytime I see or hear something about Caylee. But the authorities are quite aggressive in their investigatory methods and they do not have any concrete evidence conclusively proving that darling baby is dead. I am leaning toward, perhaps, she’s not.
Her mother seems to be in some sort of shock and she cried the whole time her family was on the stand, but not quite as much when it was her mother. Could her mother have hurt the child and Casey is protecting her to protect her family. Nobody tell such blatantly obvious lies unless they are somehow impaired. Also, the attorney’s act of making the statement that he has information that will clear Casey of any wrong doing sounds kind of like something bad did occur. Casey just was not the perpetrator.
I keep going back to the thought that such a vivid lack of affect is possible a sign of such incredible grief it overwhelms the emotional system and leaves an individual numb. That is how Casey appears to me.
Wow this story is sad, to me it sounds as if the mother killed her daughter and that the grandparents know something also but are not saying anything. I have seen the interviews on tv shows here in Philly and the grandmother doesn’t seem like she wants to answer any of the questions that are being asked and the grandfather is not saying anythin at all. ok my sister is 23, she has one four yearold and another on the way. i TOTALLY 100% agree with anyone and everyone who says that caylee got in the way of casey’s life. for ex: my sister was 18 when she had a child. she was lucky that she had our family and her ex-husbands family to take care of my niece. these people should not have children at this age ive always been told: wait to have kids until 25 years at least, because you are mature you have partied. you’ve grown. maybe these grandparents are blocking out all terrible thoughts of the situation because they cant believe their pride and joy could do something terrible such as harming her child or putting her child in danger. my sister was glad to drop her kid off every other weekend with her ex. as terrible as it sounds its true. its because she was at the party age why stay at home when you’re old enough to get into bars and drink? (thats not the way i believe) but it helped that my family and her ex’s family played babysitter. otherwise she would have ditched my niece anywhere. this casey woman was no more than a little girl who wanted to party. and i pray that caylee is alive and well. i hope she is safe. but this woman knew what she was doing that day. like that case awhile back where the mother got a note from her boyfriend saying he couldnt be with her because of her children what did she do? she put them in the car and let them roll into a river. did casey have a job? did she have a boyfriend? did the grandparents have jobs? were they not there to play babysitter? is this woman a pathological liar? i.e. on dr phil the other day he dealt with a pathological liar. when asked why there were no records of him going to so and so medical school he said he wanted to protect this information from his soon to be ex wife. is this not what casey said “shes protecting her” hrm… small coincidence? and maybe its nothing maybe she doent know anything maybe she does. maybe she has been entangled in some crazy trap where she has to protect her child. but i know id be worried about my child id want daily updates id want to see her or contact her in some way. has she tried? does she show real concern? anyone can act. anyone can lie. most would do anything possible to save their children. even if it hurt them. THIS ISNT THE STRONGEST SURVIVES. it is a natural instinct to protect your children. NATURAL. doesnt need to be learned. whether you listen to this instinct is your problem. whether you choose men or women over your child is your problem. one day this women will realize what she may or may not have done. itll be a regret to her. hopefully this child is found. this family has had done to them what needs to be done, and this little girl goes to live with a family who loves her.
Can you trust a cadaver dog if theres no cadaver?
Not really especially if a lot of time has elapsed since the body was removed from the scene. Cadaver dogs can find the remains of people who have been dead for years or even decades. But its much harder for the dogs if the bulk of the remains are gone. In that case, they can pick up the scent from small amounts of body tissue, like a blood stain or nail clippings, or even from materials that came into contact with the tissue. But in the absence of an actual body, the smell of death will dissipate.
Researchers are trying to determine how long the scent lingers when the body is no longer present, but there are no conclusive results yet it may be two weeks, or it may be longer. One former dog handler talking about the this case hypothesized that the scent wouldnt last more than a month.
The dogs couldnt necessarily prove anything even if Caseys body had been in recent contact with the car seat. Since they didnt turn up any actual remains, investigators have to rely on the “smell of death” itself, an odor that stems from the decomposition process. Without a body, they cant be certain that the animals didnt make a mistake.
A dogs utility depends on the skill of its handler. Identifying false signals is an important part of working with a cadaver dog, and results should be backed up with forensic testing. When a dog gives a signal, such as barking or sitting down, to indicate that it has smelled a corpse, a handler can only say something along the lines of, “My dog is giving an indication consistent with human blood.” He cant say definitively that, yes, a body was present, without further confirmation in the form of a blood stain, for example.

That would confirm her drug use and the probabilities of poor Caylee’s disappearance would fall into place much easier.

I believe Caylee has been sold for whatever….money, drugs etc. and I also believe the Grandmother is aware of it. This explains the grandmother’s behavior. It also explains why the grandmother is so overly aggressive with Caylee’s picture getting out. She probably feels the sooner the child is found the quicker Casey will be home. I don’t think so!

Unfortunately, I believe that Caylee is deceased. I would love to believe that she is alive but the police know when there is evidence of a murder or accidental death. I thought I saw in the grandmothers backyard a pool. Maybe Caylee accidentally drowned and Casey panicked and disposed of her body and with all the lies she has told leads me to think Mom buried her daughter somewhere. I will pray for this family that the truth comes out.

This is the sadest story out there—beautiful child, lying, lying, lying mother. She killed her, I just know it and why??? Will there ever be any answers? Nope! I have cried over a child I never knew but I saw her sweet face in a video and fell in love with her. Why is there so much evilness in the world? How can a mother who is supposed to protect her child do the unspeakable? My heart cries out to God for answers and yet I know there will be none in this world. Wow. Did you note in this above story that Casey Anthony has not showed emotion, or sadness when being questioned regarding her daughter. She sure was crying when she was being sent BACK to jail by the judge who was setting bail. Hmmmmmm…….what a shame, woman. People that hurt their kids, belong in jail….stay there, I say. If she were REALLY not guilty of anything, other than stupidity letting her daughter go off with some woman who does not exist….then people around the USA would be putting money up for Casey Anthony. I am a grandmother of 5 and my though my heart aches for the family, I find it strange that the grandmother is acting the way she has on interviews. I suppose you could attribute it to denial, but she is not helping the situation. I pray Caylee is found safe and unharmed, but the longer she goes missing the more dire the situation becomes.

He was scheduled to go on Nancy Grace on Thursday, July 24th. He cancelled minutes before air due to the 911 tapes being released. He also said on air the night before he and the mother, Casey, would meet with the police. Nancy’s control room had them on the phone due to the defense attorney saying police were not cooperating with him and his client. Nancy disclosed last night the bonehead never met with the police. This mother and I believe grandmother know what happended to this precious child. Their behavior is too “Susan Smith.” Remember her lies and crocodile tears about her “kidnapped” children. I have a comment about the whole phone call from jail, when casey insisted on having her boyfriend’s phone number. I think it may have been wise for them to go ahead and give her his phone number. Who knows, maybe as arrogant and self centered as she appears, she may have said some incriminating things as she talked to him. But, instead they plaster it all over the news that her conversation was watched and listened to so closely. Maybe she would have said a little more to her boyfriend. (I am sure she knew the conversation was recorded, as it stated when the phone call first starts out,) but maybe she is so wrapped up in herself, that she still may have talked. I do also find it interesting about the spot of dirt in the trunk, how long did she have the shovel, did she leave during the time she had the shovel? Could they do a test on the soil in the backyard, and see if it matches the soil in the trunk. I know different areas have different types of soil. But, I am sure all of this has already been considered. Caylee is most likely dead. She cramped her mother’s lifestyle.

the abandoned car belonging to the mother is the missing link. Investigators said it smelled of death and found hair belong to Caylee in the trunk. Grandmother is OBVIOUSLY lying for the daughter. Daughter is lying. Obvious that lying runs in the family.

I read the affidavit, and one thing that strikes me as “ironic” is that Casey claimed to have “visited the clubs Zenida frequented.” This is a perfect “excuse” for Casey as a partier, to be seen in the club during this time of deep concern for her daughter. I just know she took the child’s life, if not on purpose, on accident. I too keep thinking about the possibility of Caylee getting left in the car, in the sweltering heat. Maybe this was a neglectful accident on Casey’s part. But she needs to speak up, the child deserves it, dead or alive. Grandma and Grandpa are in COMPLETE DENIAL. They do not want to give up hope that Caylee may be alive. I believe that they know it, but it sickens them to admit it.

I hate to say this but that little girl is probably dead. Why else would Casey not tell them who, what, where, when and why concerning this little girl? If she sold Caylee then you’re looking at 5-10 years maybe…out after a year on good behavior.

I have become so intrigued by this story but…I feel in my heart that baby girl Caylee is not alive. Once my son(at the time he was 8)was missing in my neighborhood for only about 15 - 20 minutes and I called the police and had the chopper out looking for him and even a blood hound dog to track him on his scent. My son was found a long, intense, and emotional hour later several streets away from our house where he had found new friends to play with. But I tell you during the search for him the police thought I was going to have to go the hospital to be sedated. So I can not imagine my child being missing for a month and not contacting the authorities and being able to “function” during that time. I have so many thoughts on what could have happened to little Caylee. In my heart I don’t believe that it was intentional…I feel it was an accident, maybe she was left in the car and the heat killed her, or maybe she drowned in the backyard pool…whatever it was I feel that the mother probably panicked and tried to cover up what had happened. I feel that she has created this “babysitter abduction” and has repeatedly instilled this in her head that she started to believe it. Eventually the truth will come out…I just hope that they find Caylee either alive or her body so everyone can have closure. Again…these are my thoughts and my heart goes out to everyone involved.
grandmother is too late in going to DCFS, that SHOULD have been done a long time ago and all this mess would have been averted and child would be well, safe and loved in a stable home environment with grandparents.

Did Caylee accidently drown in the pool in grandma’s backyard. Then did they haul the little girl off and bury her. As a mother I would have certainly asked especially if they were residing in my home. And when my came home without baby, after a short while I would have insisted on seeing my grandchild, or talking on the phone. If it couldn’t have been done. Casey also mentions in one of her phone conversations with her friend that they should be looking for Zenaida Fernandez-Gonzales
(who does not exist at all in my opinion, obviously) in New York or North Carolina… Sounds like she thinks Caylee could be in New York… Perhaps Tony took her there with him?

I have 2 children, a 7 year old son and 3 year old daughter. I also speak to my mother every day. My daughter often does not want to talk on the phone or she will go a couple of weeks without talking to my kids at all… she would never in a million years think I had done something to them or that something had happened to her and I was hiding it… Something is desperately wrong if the grandmother has doubt as to the safety of her grandaughter while in her mother’s care… if she is such a great mother, as Cindy keeps stating she is, why would she threaten to have Caylee taken away from her during the converstaion they had while the Orlano Police dept. was transferring her call to the Sherrif’s office? This conversation appears to be BEFORE the second call she placed to the police to confirm that she knew that she was missing for sure and that Casey had confirmed that the “babysitter” took her…
Why on earth would she threaten her with something like that if she is the wonderful mother she keeps stating she is?
The grandmother definitely knows more than she is letting on… even if she doesn’t know details, she is trying to paint her daughter out to be this wonderful caring mother and decent human being when she CLEARLY is not.

I am confused.. It was stated during the bond hearing that “he” knew he had heard her over the phone on the 24th or 25th because he was on his way to the police station to resign, so he knew the dat… butI am reading conflicting things saying that TOny is the one who heard her on the phone…

Well if Caylee’s father is deceased, then maybe Casey’s income for the child was Social Security death benefit. Casey has the personality of a drug addict. Too many lies, she steals money, has no stable job and or living arrangements. The grandmother is not telling everything, either. Very strange family and I hope the police finds Caylee. I don’t think she is alive but I hope I am wrong. The mother needs to stay in jail where she belongs.
Why can we not use truth serum in these types of cases to find out what might have happened and determine if this gorgeous little girl is still alive, and where she might be. This is horrible, how could a mother even handle this type of upset, let alone the whole community. We need to bring out the truth to help put everyone’s mind at peace, or give us hope.
Sounds to me it could be a case and hopefully it isn’t where a child may have been accidentally left in a hot car, perhaps for hours or even a few days. When tots mom returns, its too late the damage has been done. Stricken with panic and fear, first thing to do is to dispose of body. Knowing this would be a criminal issue, make up some concocted stories that her family will believe.
I believe over time, that this will turn into something very similar.
If there was an accident of some-kind, she should come forth and say so. But if this was some malicious attempt to get rid of her daughter, she could have allowed others to intervene and help her out, instead of putting her tot in harm’s way.

I watched Nancy Grace tonight and learned of the (mysterious) theft of two gas cans……Wonder if they will find them in the same location of *someone’s* charred remains?! Secondly, why would she leave the car abandoned unless she knew that there was some certain evidence to be smelled. I did think about the “leaving Caylee in the sweltering car” but the cadaver dog never hit on any other place than the trunk-or so they said. So, it seems the child would have to already been dead when she was placed into the trunk. I just wonder #1: how long Casey borrowed the shovel? and #2: Did she leave between the time she borrowed it and the time she returned it? I think the child was originally buried in the yard, hence the cadaver dog hitting in the yard, then moved to another location, hence the cadaver dog hitting on the car.

Funny!!!! I knew they would start showing pictures of her out partying! I just knew it! If it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck. I knew that was the reason she said in her affidavit that in her “search” for her daughter, she searched the “nightclubs” that mysterious nanny frequented, because it was justifying her reasoning for even being in these nightclubs, looks kinda strange when you are out partying while your 2 year old baby girl has disappeared. She killed her! They will find her charred remains, near the missing gas cans!

If Casey and her mother do not get along, knowing how much her mother loved her grandchild the one thing Casey could do to really hurt her mother is to take Caylee away from her. What if Casey contacted Caylee’s paternal grandparents and gave her to them to hurt her mother (cindy)? If she made them aware of their grandchild and told them the only way you can have this piece of your son (who according to casey is dead) is to take her and leave for good??? (couldn’t the police search reports for car accident fatalities and get closer to the identity of Caylee’s father, if he in fact died in a car accident) Casey’s not acting as though Caylee is dead, she acts as though she’s not concerned about her safety at all and the family and authorities can’t invesitgate Caylee’s paternal family if Casey is the only one who knows who he is and she’s not telling anyone???? depending on the life style of herself, her boyfriend and ex-boyfriend, the dog hitting on the human decomposition in the trunk and backyard could be explained other than it being Caylee. Caylee’s dna will probably be everywhere in that car. I read in the police report that Casey borrowed her friend Amy’s car for a week, this friend Amy is now living with/dating Casey’s ex-boyfriend Ricardo? some friend, right? is anyone checking on her where abouts during the week she was gone?? where’s the proof of the stolen checks and cash that Casey supposedly took from Amy? She was quick to give her statement to the police accusing Casey of all these things, knowing it would only damage her case.
There’s to many holes in all of this, and something tells me the police know and have evidence of a lot more than what they are telling.
I live in NE Alabama and had I not seen this story online on CNN I wouldn’t have ever known about it. Has there been an amber alert issued, why is it not on the national news every night? Have criminal backgrounds been run on all these boyfriends & ex-boyfriends and so called friends? What about the visitor she had in jail, “the former classmate”, did they run a check on him? seems odd that he would just show up at jail and she didn’t know who he was?
I hope and pray that they find this little girl alive and there’s a reasonable explanation behind all of it.
This Anthony family is very arrogant. They are always talking down to the police authorities, media and the interviews they hold on TV. They are always claiming they know so much more than the police, that they have done a much better job in the search for their missing grandchild, they know the case much better than the police. Any findings the police have the Anthony family brings it down to dispute the new findings by the police authorities. This arrogance of the family, is going to bite them in butt.
This family shows total disrespect to the authorities and CLAIM they KNOW so much more of this case than them. They claim the authorities are not helping them find the misssing child. Has anyone seen this family do searches for the child??? All we see is the grandmother’s face plastered in talks with Larry King, Nancy Grace and all other media. This family is truly obstructing Justice.
I have been following this story from the beginning and I think it so frustrating and unbelievable that Casey is not telling anyone where Caylee is at. There is no doubt that she knows exactly where her child is or what has happened to her. This is why she is so calm and doesn’t seem any bit worried. Maybe she has the peace of knowing where her child is so she is not worrying. How can you let your family go on day after day not knowing. The the cruelest thing you can do to another human is to let them wonder and worry. Even if Caylee is gone, at least give the family and everyone else the closure they deserve.
Just wait until Casey is put in “General Population” in the County jail, believe me, she’ll start talking the truth before she sets one toe in Gen. Pop.
Okay, did anyone see the interview with the chief of police??? when the reporter asked him about Caylee’s father, he said the only thing he knew about him was that he died a year or so ago in an automobile accident in “The Carolinas”, does anyone recall that in the phone conversation that Casey had with her brother, friend and mother, she stated that the nanny had connections in New York and “North Carolina”????? Cindy even commented about the fear of the nanny taking Caylee “further into the woods in the mountains” What if Casey sent her “away” to get her out of harms way?? maybe the reason she doesn’t trust the police dept is because her ex-boyfriend was a member of that same dept, she probably knows that there’s “dirty” cops there that have connections with whom ever she is afraid of? If she intentionally sent Caylee away to get her out of harms way, the longer she keeps the focus on herself, the harder it will be for anybody (cops or criminals)to find Caylee. I could be wrong, but for whatever reason, I don’t think Caylee is deceased. I really hope that I’m right and that she’s still alive, she’s such a beautiful little girl. Thoughts and prayers are with the family and Caylee.

Authorities are just waiting for casey to incriminate herself further in her plot of lies and the grandparents too. the Anthony family are hanging themselves with all these lies. i agree qbert, “the one not cooperating is the responsible one.” casey can go free in about 15 days if the authorities don’t find some concrete evidence. CSI was at grandparent’s home today and removed quite a few bags from the home, backyard and a shed in the backyard.
While CSI were at the Anthony home with the grandfather, Cynthia (grandmother) was being questioned further at the Police Station. Actually, both grandparents were questioned at police station seperately. Apparently, grandmother’s questioning was much longer.

Caylee is obviously deceased. I pray that she didn’t understand what was happening. I think that any woman who IS a mother understands that Casey’s reaction/attitude (whatever)is far, far, from that of a “grieving mother”. If this selfish woman had to allow this happen,I am glad it happened in Florida. I pray that Casey is charged with premeditated murder and is sentenced to death. However, it would be better if she could be sentenced to the exact treatment she afforded her baby.

Casey and even Cindy to some extent are speaking about Caylee in the third person. Casey says things like “it is my gut feeling” and “to my recollection”. If she really knew this babysitter wouldn’t she say something like ” she would never hurt Caylee”? When you speak about something you know you just come out with it. If you are lying you keep referring back to the lie in your mind to check yourself. And if Casey really did steal money and gas, etc. from people we aren’t dealing with any saint here either.

I don’t think the girl was sold or traded for drugs. That to me is Ridicules, how many drug dealers want a child to deal with? Most don’t want to deal with their OWN kids much less trade 40.00 in crack rocks to have to babysit until they find someone to buy the kid. If someone “Bought” her at this point would have been seen w/ the girl or turned her in out of fear of being accused of kidnapping, all they would have to say is they “Found” her somewhere. Unless they are completely insane and think they could hide her forever.

Now the liar in jail is saying she lost her phone that had the babysitter’s number in it. HELLO cell phone companies have every number dialed by the phone and unless you request to NOT have a detailed phone bill they send the numbers to you every month… She’s talking in circles on all the jailhouse recordings, and she will “Find the time” to write things out for the police about the disappearance. RESEARCH????? I did mine. Scroll up to the top of this blog and read the entire affidavit. That is all any person should need. I know this is America and she will get a fair trial. Regardless of the publicity, juries seem to do the right thing and decide by the evidence. (O.J.’s was nullification, plain and simple)BUT, trial/no trial, guilty/walks free…any parent who reads the affidavit would know that Casey knows exactly what happened to her child.
One of the many inconsistencies I found in her many lies was of the call Casey claims to have received from Caylee the day Cindy called the police. If you listen to her first admission, she states she tried tracing it but the number is no longer in service, but as she talks to her brother Lee, she states to him that the call was marked private. Hmmm….another b.s. story. I am sure the police know alot more than they let on, but for fear of messing up the investigation, they can not release every known detail, they know Caylee is dead, I think they are just trying to get a confession from her, because they have no body.

Casey Anthony is so totally lost in her lies and new found “fame” (as is her mother Cindy), that together they can’t come up with any logical explanation of where Caylee is. She is just a beautiful little thing and I fear for her to be found alive. And why on earth does Casey refer to a “nanny”….when she lived with her parents up until June 9th? Every statement she gives is either a lie or as vague as it can be. Cindy is doing the same thing. Shame on both of them!! Perhaps they’re planning a book or a movie…at the expense of this beautiful little girl. Casey tells pure lies and Cindy tells 2 different stories. I smell a skunk in this tragic story. Regardless if it’s Nancy Grace, Larry King or Geraldo Cindy is not forthright either.
Did anyone see the FoxOrlando news video last week discussing another possible clue in this. It seems that in a phone conversation that Casey had with her brother Lee, she mentioned that she possibly lost her blackjack phone at Jay Blanchard Park, the reporter pointed out that a young woman was found dead in that park 6/24/08 and the murderer was never found, if Casey is involved with that murder (I believe that’s about the same time the gas cans went missing and the shovel was borrowed), that would be motive to send Caylee away for protection, and as long as grandparents and uncles don’t know the truth about where she is, in a sense, Casey is protecting them also. I agree with the mother’s (cindy) comment about Casey leading the detectives in a general area with her clues, without actually releasing direct information, she led them to apartments that had received an application from a Zenaida Gonzales that just happened to be located across the street where her ex-boyfriend lives, is there a connection? I just can’t let myself beleave that this little girl is dead, not without proof. I’m looking forward to hearing what the DNA and other test will reveal, hopefully it will be released soon and it will be good news. Thoughts and prayers for Caylee and her family.

in lee’s interview he said that casey and caylee were on a mini vacation to spend time together and to do things mother and daughter would do… then why was she always at the babysitters? the grandmother said that was always the excuse. and why did casey have long hair in the younger caylee years….didn’t they say those Fusion pictures were taken just before caylee came about? that’s some fast growing hair! they look very recent to me.

There is no nanny. Grandparents are covering. Was there an accident in the pool? Parents “forgot” to mention earlier that the ladder to pool was up against pool and gate opened when they got home, yet weren’t that way previously.
If Casey really had info and the Kidnapper said Don’t tell, then how would the kidnapper feel knowing Casey is in jail and napper has no way of knowing when she will talk or if she talks, thus all the hype, I CAN”T TALK… but how does the napper know that.. THe water in her lungs will show pool water if she drowned, even after 31 days. That water will spill out when laid on ground in back yard, leaving dna on ground and also in trunk, hypothectically, of course.

From what I’ve seen, I’m inclined to agree that Cindy Anthony, the grandmother, has more knowledge than she is admitting about this situation. She has stated that her daughter, Casey, has, in her way, told her what has happened to her granddaughter, Caylee, but she “can’t reveal the details of that”. HELLO?
She was also the first one to state that the trunk of the car Casey was driving smelled like a dead body had been in there. She only backpeddled on that, calling it trash they’d picked up, after the police/sheriff stated that he detected the smell of decomposition in the trunk.
It has been stated by many that Casey Anthony is a habitual liar and every single time I hear Cindy Anthony open her mouth, I can’t help but feel she’s just like her daughter…disinclined to tell the truth. At least the entire truth. That lady has knowledge she isn’t releasing. The very first time I heard her speak, she wasn’t in the least interested in anything but telling the show’s host to go easy on her because she was so tired and she hadn’t slept and she needed to sleep but she couldn’t sleep.
