As I said the other day to a friend of mine, I'll take a network of well-intentioned, sometimes-factually-inaccurate news-producing bloggers over a poorly-intentioned, news conglomerate any day. Of course, we should follow/internalize many of the rules intended for the idealists embedded in the latter but we should not live under the impression that it follows its own rules on a regular enough basis to not challenge it in every way that we can.</description>
