Emergency dispatchers in Kennewick, Washington received a call late Friday night from 23 year old Phiengchai Sisouvanh Synhavong, telling them that she had just delivered a baby and she thought the baby had died. When the emergency crew got there they found her sitting in the car with a baby and she kept asking if her baby was ok. She was only wearing a T-shirt with no pants or undergarments and was holding part of an umbilical cord in her hand. There was quite a bit of blood in the back seat of the car and even some pieces of human tissue.

The baby and the woman were taken to Kennewick General Hospital. Kennewick Police Chief Ken Hohenberg said the baby is in critical condition Monday on life support at Deaconess Medical Center in Spokane Washington. The woman was checked out by medical doctors where it showed that she had not given birth anytime recently. She eventually confessed to the crime at the hospital.

A pregnant woman’s body was discovered early Saturday in a Kennewick Park. She had been stabbed several times in the chest and her almost full term baby had been literally cut fro her womb. 27 year-old Araceli Camacho Gomez had her hands and feet tied with yarn and there was a massive trauma to her stomach.

Synhavong has been arrested for first degree murder now and she is being held without bail.. Police searched her purse and they found a pair of mechanic’s gloves soaked in blood and w mucous bulb, yarn, a baby bottle and baby socks.

Family members of the victim say Synhavong worked with senior citizens and had befriended Gomez when they met through their work.
