We watched it opening night and it was simply brilliant. The kids (4, 5 & 8) were unbelievably transfixed, and us parents were every bit as impressed. The physics of the motion, the textures, the story, the incredibly expressive robots (that don't even have real faces). This is a new all-time favorite kids film. Fred Willard shouldn't have appeared in live-action, as it seemed Pixar had no idea how to direct actual humans, but that wouldn't make me hesitate to strongly recommend it to anybody.
