i have always been woried about the use of my space altho both my daughter and grandaughter have one i check it dailey also calling my daughter if i susspect problems i have had to delete a few people on my grandaughters account because they were to old and there is a place to report them very scary the ammount of sickos out there

my prayers are with the whole family i cant believe that there are sick people out there i have 4 girls and 1 boy and i worry about them everyday . all parents these days i know its hard trust me should have intrest in there children and there friends and close relatives . or babysitters ask questions it helps the kids might be scared but i found out that a family member of mine raped my 6 and 8 year old hes put away but i wish everyday that i could have been there with themn instead of working but with there dad not around someone has to work but my family7 of all people to hurt the ones they are supposed to love that is right down stupid so trust me ..u can never trust anyone HEARTS PRAYERS THOUGHTS TO ALL THE FAMILY OF 12 YEAR OLD BROOKE

It seems ‘Catrin’s’ answer is to get get rid of motorcycles because cars run into each other. I know that in ways I see our rights being taken away be the criminal both those in DC and those in the streets. Our governmaent abuses the Arabs, the Arabs blow up a building in NYC and Virginia, then the government takes our rights away. What ever BrookiePies’s fate I hope it is not a legacy of defeatism.

Point being, we have to teach our kids how to intelligently do things so they aren’t sneaking around behind our backs… and so that when they ARE sneaking around, they at least make more reasonable choices. I bet her parents wish they had talked with her about breaking the rules and given her another chance so she didn’t have to make poor decisions in secret. Censorship is no substitute for education.

Have you ever met a teenager before? They will find ways to do whatever they want to do without you figuring it out for a very long time, no matter how good you are at parenting them. Her parents denied her access to MySpace, and did it stop her? NO.

Here are the specific ground rules that should be issued to everyone under the age of 18 for myspace by their parents: 1. do not ever even attempt to have a myspace account;there is no good whatsoever that can come out of myspace and it is a virtual one stop shopping mall for predators and sickos. 2. if you are caught trying to chat with anyone on myspace or just create a profile, your computer access for ANYTHING with the exception of school assignments, will be cut off. period. Don’t bend people…these are your children’s lives
that you’re dealing with. I hope that this poor child is alive and well but we all know what the heartbreaking probable outcome is.
Don’t let your children on myspace or a similar
website. Parents of this country, unite and take back the control…don’t let it be the other way around. Ask the parents of Brooke if they would allow this chatting on myspace to happen again. ?????
