Wind River talks way too much about Microsoft. It needs to concentrate on its own defects, and there are plenty. I've been working on WR products for over a year now, and their customer service sucks way more then MS's. Their linux BSPs are NOT more stable then windows. And their prices are borderline unreasonable. So F.U. Wind River.

How amusing. Wind River has done a lot of great work, but what they are doing is really just an evolutionary development of the routine work done by many companies in the Industrial Automation area.

This kind of compact, robust and highly reliable OS is standard fare for those of us who actually make machines and processes work. Once commissioned it is routine for an industrial automation system to run without interuption for years, even decades.
