Sure sounds like LA Video guy has a personal axe to grind. Are you suggesting the public overlook the quality of his work based upon your personal rants?

People that take risks in this country are all subject to law suits. I know of not 1 producer in Hollywood that has NOT been sued by some greedy lawyer, that is the nature of the business.

Good luck with that Axe Grinding Mr Videoguy!

I must warn anyone who might do business or thinks of taking a job with DAN CATULLO. STAY AWAY !!!! Be very leery about taking a job from DAN CATULLO.
Myself and entire film crew worked for DAN CATULLO for a music video shoot that he was producing and directing through his production company " Coming Home Studios". He got his music video and he stiffed the entire crew. Not one person got paid on the crew. I first gave him the benefit of the doubt. But then found out he never had the intention of paying the crew from the start. The time cards that the crew filled out were from a specific Payroll company. During my mediation with the California State Labor board, this payroll company said they were never informed or heard of this job. They said they have done payroll for Coming Home Studios in the past, but they were never informed of this music video. (which is the norm if they were going to do the payroll for a job). This shows that DAN CATULLO never had planned in paying the crew from the beginning. Still to this day, nobody from the crew has been paid. And several judgments have been filed against Dan Catullo and Coming Home Studios. Be very careful if you decide to do business with this man. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED !!!!!!

[...] I have often been accused of being somewhat unorthodox in my reviews, so I feel the need to maintain this practice by starting at the end. I watch many video versions of concerts, most are made with the video equivalent of a couple of ‘BB’ Guns, there is one guy though that uses a battery of video howitzers and that is Dan Catullo. I watched the first 5 minutes of this video and said to my wife “There is only one guy on the planet that could have been behind this production”. I was right, I looked it up, Dan strikes again. 17 High Def cams, some fixed, some hand held, and at least one or two remote controlled on high mounted wires (this is the technology used for NFL game coverage). Dan Catullo is without doubt the premier music video producer today. In fact last year I had the opportunity to sit down with Dan and talk about another video project filmed at the same time at the same location, you can catch the interview here. [...]
