When your 23 and make the decision to get into a drunk 17 year old's car. And then you don't wear a seat belt. And you may or may not have known about an impending drag race. You are not totally innocent. Not that its right what nick hogan did but he isn't the only one at fault. If nick had gotten hurt instead the 23 year old might have been charged for contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

No I dont think they are out of their mind....that child made a mistake. You cant tell me that this 22 year old man didnt know that that Nick was drinking when he got in the car with him, he probably bought the alcohol! Then yes, he was in Iraq but what fool in this day and age doesn't wear a seat belt?? Especially when he knows Nick and his driving record? Nick wasn't hurt because he was wearing his, he used common sense. Why should Nick's family have to pay because this grown man did not obey the law? While this is tragic, its not the Hogans finacial responsibility....he made a mistake, now his family should pay for his mistake

Are you outside of your mind? A child physically destroys another kid's body and kife and you blame the LEGAL SYSTEM for that family's ability to sue? You said it yourself: the kid is going to need hospitalization for the rest of his entire life. And who is supposed to pay for that? The family? Whoe are they supposed to sue if not the parents? Nick Hogan?
