A new Department of the Interior study has found that the agency’s staffers spend a lot of time surfing the Web for (in a few cases child) pornography and gambling sites.
I’m not going to say I’ve never used work computers for other purposes (in fact I’m at work right now), but porn and gambling on company time really is unacceptable, and it’s hard to believe this type of thing is so common. I wonder what private companies would find if they undertook similar studies.
