The inquest in the 1997 deaths of Princess Diana and her lover Dodi Fayed came to an end today after it was announced that the couple’s deaths were caused by the reckless actions of their chauffer and the pursuing paparazzi. The judgment puts to rest all the conspiracy theories that the Princess was assassinated for maligning the name of the British Royal family.
The deaths were caused by the “unlawful, negligent driving of the Mercedes and the following vehicles,” the 11-member jury concluded Monday.
The decision comes in line with the two year investigation conducted by French authorities, which in 1999 concluded that the car crash that killed Diana and Fayed in Paris was caused by her driver Henri Paul, who was under the influence of drugs.
Paul died along with Diana, 36, and Fayed, 42; bodyguard Trevor Rees-Jones was the sole survivor.

I also feel sorry for her sons that have had to go on with there lives with out their mother because someone could not control their actions. He should have never gotten in the car.
