		<description>MrMacMan-

Thank you for taking the time to post a comment on the story.

I appreciate your citation of Pollster.com. I am familiar with it already, but if I hadn't been, it would have been a great suggestion on your part, because it's a great site.

On your statement re Pollster.com's showing of the internal polls-

My belief - no matter which side is doing it - is that internal polls are of course of enormous value to the people running the campaigh for which they have been commissioned. They can guide them in the direction that they need to go in order to win over voters.

However, in contrast, there is little, if any, value to internal polls, when it comes to writing an objective story about the campaign. They are, by definition, self-interested. They must be treated like ads, direct mail, etc. - namely, part of the effort to spin the media and the voters into the direction that the campaign wants them to go.

In contrast, the independent polls are not commissioned by candidates and serve solely to inform the media and the public about what's going on in any given campaign.

Accordingly, I will occasionally use internal polls in a story - but that's only when I think the timing of their release, or their subjects, play a role in the message that the campaign is trying to send to the electorate. I do not trust them, AT ALL, when it comes to the evidence of who is ahead, and why.

Thoughts are welcome, on this subject, or any other.

<description>You are using the MW polls and you should probably also mention that the Hall internal polls show the race in a similar way but still leaning towards Kelly.

check pollster.com for the details.

I think that Kelly is in big trouble, and its going to come down to election day.
