My Daughter almost lost herlife this year. She was on Heparin on and off from February - June.
She ended up getting blood clots everywhere and the Doctors could never pin down why she was clotting. She has had Heprarin before and this has never happened. She is also allergic to sulfur based medication. How can you find out if this Medication was sent to a specific hospital and possible received it as a treatment?

US companies have been taken in with two different intentionally contaminated proteins, to the decided detriment of US consumers. Had the companies involved (Purina, Eukanuba, Baxter, others) in either the pet food--melamine contamination or the heparin--oversulfated chondroitin problem bothered to do a basic electrophoresis separation and nitrogen quantitation of the raw materials as part of their quality control tests, the problems would almost certainly have been detected before the contaminated products were used in manufacturing. I think that when dealing with China and some of the other Asian countries, this 'ounce of prevention' would serve everyone better.
