There is a product in Hawaii called Wai Ola. It is made with bittermelon and turmeric. It is in the Longs Drug Store and several other chains throughout the island. It is also sold online. It helps.

In my personal profile, there is no mention there about Bitter Gourd or Bitter Melon. But I did recommend this fruit for my diabetic friend.

I remembered about this as one step forward to cure diabetes since I studied it in my Pharmacognosy class way back home in Cebu City.

Will visit your website again.

Thanks

http://www.island.wsu.edu/CROPS/BITTERME.htm
discusses growing them in California. Asians eat them as vegetables, so they might be in Asian grocery stores or Chinese herbal stores.

Or check for "bitter melon tea" on ebay...there are several for sale there.

Like all herbal medicines, there is a question of dose...but if used as a supplement with diet etc. it should be okay.

I'd try Asian grocery stores first.
