		<description>It's doubtful Cheney told anything directly to Maliki.  He was probably over there to tell Petreaus to make some kind of border provocation with Iran, so they could get started on the bombing.  That was inevitable after Petreaus' superior Fallon was forced to resign.  Cheney (and Petreaus) are in no position to support the abortive Iraqi puppets' assault on Basra- no more troops. Nada. The situation is way more of out of control than they ever dreamed - poor things...Cheney will now repair to an undisclosed secure location....hopefully he'll stay there forever...</description>
