The previous poster complimented you on your writing skills and I agree, you're good. But I would like to think that you would dig deeper into this subject. Since you are in Chicago, are you are open enough to drive to 95th Street and attend a Sunday service at Trinity or read transcripts from Pastor Wright's past sermons? Show me something more. I'm sure you, like most people, have friends that you care about and admire but have differing opinions. I do agree that the Rev. is quite extreme in his remarks, far beyond what most would think is acceptable, but to say that Obama is one in the same is ridiculous. And the comparison to Trent Lott is quite extreme. Comparing a man who voices his opinions to a rather small audience (relatively) to a group that has been responsible for some of the most terrible and disgusting actions in US history is over the top by any standards. But I guess an article telling it as it is isn't really news...
