Mr. Huston,

Have you ever said you disliked a particular food, without ever having tried it? Have you ever looked at a woman and thought she was unattractive by your standards, and allowed that to preclude you from having a conversation with her, where you would have discovered that she was brilliant? The previous poster complimented you on your writing skills and I agree, you're good. But I would like to think that you would dig deeper into this subject. Since you are in Chicago, are you are open enough to drive to 95th Street and attend a Sunday service at Trinity or read transcripts from Pastor Wright's past sermons? Show me something more.

Although I agree that Coulter's article was far too passive, you have simply gone to other extreme, which is no better. I'm sure you, like most people, have friends that you care about and admire but have differing opinions. I do agree that the Rev. is quite extreme in his remarks, far beyond what most would think is acceptable, but to say that Obama is one in the same is ridiculous. And the comparison to Trent Lott is quite extreme. Comparing a man who voices his opinions to a rather small audience (relatively) to a group that has been responsible for some of the most terrible and disgusting actions in US history is over the top by any standards. But I guess an article telling it as it is isn't really news...

On a positive note, you do write very well and get paid to do it, so keep it up. :)
