I don't think the US is quite so volatile just yet. But, it's always best to be on the safe side, and I think the more elected officials we place in high office, the safer we become... The president was crooked, but the popular choice. His replacement, Arroyo, is related to half the Manila elites, and was their choice...she is a lot more crooked, but knows how to hide the kickbacks... And when the VP is lousy too, well, just remember Agnew was removed before Nixon.
