		<description>I doubt we'd end up like the Philippines simply because we elected the VP.  I don't think the US is quite so volatile just yet.

But, it's always best to be on the safe side, and I think the more elected officials we place in high office, the safer we become...</description>

The president was crooked, but the popular choice. His replacement, Arroyo, is related to half the Manila elites, and was their choice...she is a lot more crooked, but knows how to hide the kickbacks...

And when the VP is lousy too, well, just remember Agnew was removed before Nixon.</description>
