RECENT reports from Angelina Jolie’s brother have claimed that the Hollywood reknowned saint did infact cancel her appearance at a pre-Oscars fundraiser because it was co-hosted by her boyfriend Brad Pitt’s ex-wife Jennifer Aniston last month, but not because of fears of a showdown between the pair but rather as a result of her compassion for Aniston’s feelings.
The star was due to attend the 6th annual Night Before charity event on the eve of the Academy Awards, alongside Pitt, but the ‘Mr. and Mrs Smith’ stars were no-shows. With a reputation as big as this couples, this did not go unnoticed. Minutes later internet gossip sites began claiming that the pair didn’t show after they feared a showdown between Jolie and Aniston - claims that Jolie’s brother, James Haven, couldn’t be further from the truth.
“Angie is an incredibly strong but also incredibly sensitive woman, and she would always be careful when another woman’s feelings are concerned.” Haven spoke out. “She’d go out of her way to make sure there was no situation that would hurt another woman because of her, and I’m talking about a situation like one of Brad’s ex partners or his ex-wife.”
Aniston and Pitt split back in January 2005, after living the married life together for 5 years. A mere 3 months after the controversial split claims began popping up putting Pitt and Jolie in a relationship. The two met on the set or their spy-action film ‘Mr & Mrs Smith’.
The pair denied rumours that they had began dating before Pitt and Aniston were seperated.
3 years on Jolie and Pitt are not yet married ( though there has been plenty of speculation), but are the proud parents of 3 adopted kiddies - Maddox, Pax Thien & Zahara, and about to be parents of their second biological child - their first was Shiloh.
So once again Anjelina reclaims her title of Hollywood’s saint.

Hmm, it doesn’t sound like Jennifer was worried, she actually showed up. All! slammed Jennifer two weeks ago when they believed that Jolie would show and Aniston would take a pass. Now that Jolie elected to skip the charity event they will need some very big leaps of logic to make Jolie look like she is the “good guy” in this little battle that everyone loves to keep going. It’s very simple, all were scheduled to appear and only Jennifer showed. Pitt and Jolie blinked and backed off. It is really going to take some work to spin that.Looks like they are trying!!!
Dorothy, I totally agree with you. Jolie always needs to be the saint. Aniston always attend this party so it’s obvious she was going to be there if her movie schedule allowed it.
Angelina was being KIND to poor JenJen not flaunting her babybump into her face, so people don’t look at her behind her back saying “poor Jennifer”. I know it hurts you JenHens.

I am not buying what ms. Angelina “voight” is peddling. If she was truly sincerely trying to spare jennifer’s feelings, both she and brad would have announced their intentions of not attending much earlier so jennifer could plan accordingly. What angelina hoped for was that jennifer would back down and not show at that point, I am quite sure she would have attended to meet and greet with Hollywood’s power elite. But why did she not give any notice? Because she is immature enough to actually enjoy messing with Jen’s head! Make no mistake, angelina is a Machiavellian meanie who enjoys hurting and diminishing others who might have some influence over her current boyfriend Brad. Think about it-she doesn’t like jennifer, Brad’s mother, his friends. Iactally feel sorry for Angelina. I used to behave the same way to others - but it was only for a few months when I was 13 years old! In short - Angelina should grow up!
James Haven is an idiot along w/ the entire jolie/voight clan. They are a bundle of contradictions. They claim they are so above the gossip magazines and any circulating gossip goes unheard by them because they have more important things they’re engaged in, but YET, strategically, James Haven was chosen by his sister to speak out against the rumors regarding her no show. Angie takes herself much too seriously and is no match for those washington bigwigs. They think she’s this idealistic, naive, little actress who has no idea how government works. Whenever she’s interviewed by cnn or other journalists, she comes off very inarticulate, and lacking real knowledge. Her answers sound like how children would speak out about world peace.(naive, and uninformed) When she snapped at the cnn journalist when asked about her pregnancy, she looked ridiculous. The woman just merely asked, and jolie responded viciously. But jolie decided to show off her bump not much time later after that interview in a tight fitting dress at an awards show. I guess she didn’t reveal her pregnancy to the journalist from cnn because she had a much better way of stealing the spotlight through her other strategy in revealing her baby bump. And it was the day when her and aniston were rumoured to meet. Sainta Angelina…..LOL

I’m not really sure how this all works but Aniston seems to be the only one in this whole sordid mess that is stable enough to move on without bringing up “The Break Up” over and over again as Jolie, Pitt..Jennifer even made an appearance with Brad at the “Night Before” the Oscars event without a whimper.
I don’t think we need to worry about Aniston’s mental state of feelings, she seems like the only rock of the narcissistic bunch. I have no idea who dumped who when it comes to Jennifer Aniston versus Brad Pitt but it surely is easy to see which one comes out looking classier. “JENNIFER”

I think the only winner here is Jennifer Aniston who has said very little about the breakup of herself and Brad Pitt. I feel she has moved on. If she chooses to date a key grip, so be it. Who was Brad Pitt before? Who were any of them? Maybe Aniston is just trying to find love, someone who will treat her the way she should be treated. I think Julia Roberts married a camera man and seems very content. What or who will say where you will find love or a partner in life? As far as the Jolie reaching out to Aniston to have a sit down and talk. Why state it to the press? Why didn’t she just simply call her. Brad’s mom seems to have Jennifer’s number. Why the dog and pony show? Jolie and Pitt have lost a fan for their indiscretions and coverups. I will not support hypocritical behaviours to save their careers.
Angelina and Brad and all the “philanthropic” work is ONW BIG PUBLICITY SHOW. AJ is so desperate to convince herself and everyone else how good she is. No one cares AJ. Mother Theresa was sincere. That’s why people cared about her opinion. And besides, Mother Theresa lived among those she cared for not in Beverly Hills!

Well, Angelina Joile/Voight’s brother is lying. She does deliberately want to hurt Jen and others. Do you guys forget that Laura Dern was on the verge of marrying Billy Bob when he shot a film with Angelina and their relationship was history. Similar circumstances as Jennifer Pitt. She is no Saint. She is actually acting her life right now. As her ex-girlfriend stated, she don’t see Angelina staying with Pitt for very long. As long as she is in the news she will stay, but once the media is over her and Brad, you will see her true colors.
Angeline is afraid to go because she fears that Brad will see Jennifer and realise the big mistake he made, knowing the happier times he had with her compared to the volatile relationship he has now. Brad is going along because he doesn’t know what else to do.
He is trying to call Jennifer late at night when Angeline is sleeping telling her how he misses her. He has even used his mom as messenger to tell Jennifer how much he misses her.
Jennifer is over Brad. He look so grungy these days. Buy some clothes Brad hire someone to help you dress. You look trailer park these days.
Matt damon and Leo decarpio didn’t show up for the award but no one cares. Brad and Angie didn’t show up it cause this all I think this two really have the power to make you all talk.

I agree with Jen: Aniston is certainly not a has been and doesn’t need to use the press to manipulate it. That baby bump seems to have been there for quite some time; why the last minute cancellation? Can’t face the music Jolie? Feeling just a little bit guilty Brad? Another poor attempt to try and make Jolie look good. It simply is not working.
