Joam H -- It doesn't take courage to "believe" anything. Courage has to do with actions. You clearly didn't read my post, but you're eager to call names. What you're saying has nothing to do with Marion Cotillard, which is what the above slander and mistranslation was all about.

I'm happy that this remarkable artist is doing so well despite the attempt by the rightwing in America to harm her reputation. It's all a dead issue today. She simply didn't say what was reported as her remarks.

Kit van Cleave says: "you seem to have more courage to speak out..."
Response: There is nothing courageous to believe what many Islamic extremists believe which is 9/11 was an inside job. What IS courageous is to remember the memory of 9/11 after 95% of the world and liberal Democrats have "moved on." Your comment is laughable and stupid which is painfully obvious after reading your post.

ric says: "Google 911 truth and begin thinking for yourself."
Response: Ditto.

Response to Pete Lear: So 9/11 was an inside job to demolish a building because they needed new LAN lines? Okay. Sure. Do you have any knowledge of structural engineering? Didn't think so. To prep two buildings to be demolished requires months of planning and executing. Of course none of those people who were involved in the inside job can be found--how convenient. I guess they are really good at keeping secrets. Shhhhh..... Also none of the thousands of people in the WTC building ever got a whiff of the demolition preparation happening just under their noses. Got it. Right. Wow, with intelligence like this, we might be able to cure cancer in 10,000 years. (Or is cancer a U.S. military weapon again middle class Americans...hmmm...)

Benny Kaye Says: Wow I guess I was the first normal person to read your posting.

well Benny you "normal" people are becoming fewer and fewer.

Why you ask? You may watch too much news on tv. You are told what to think just like the author of this piece. He can only poke fun at us "not normal" people.

Condemnation without investigation is the highest form of Ignorance.

Benny, you may be a good guy. Google 911 truth and begin thinking for yourself.
It won't take that long to become "not normal" like us.

This interview was done one year ago. In addition, Marion Cotillard said, "I'm not believing all they tell me, that's for sure," and "I think we've been lied to on some things." In this regard, she's right in the middle of the 2008 US election, in which people are early voting in huge numbers (and not Republican) because they 1) don't believe anything the Bush administration and other politicians tell them, and 2) we feel we've been lied to about some important matters. Here is a woman who is getting Swiftboated for something she may or may not have said a year ago, and which is true from my perspective as an American citizen. So go, Marion -- you seem to have more courage to speak out than 95% of the Republicans, and half the US media. For an artist who won the British, French, Czech, and American Academy Awards, and has given hundreds of interviews in the States in which she said nothing about politics, she doesn't look like someone who can be frightened into shutting up. opinion? Stating opinions is what free people do.

Cotillard was not exactly correct. WTC 1 and 2 had significant corrosion issues resulting from galvanic reactions between the outer steel support members and the aluminum cladding. This issue necessitated either demolition or major multi-billion dollar rebuilds. Seems the owners opted for the former.
Cotillard has likely researched the facts about the attacks more than the average person. Most people in that category will say that the attacks were an inside job.
