Sinclair’s Letter to Obama campaign of February 2 2008
Statement raises more questions–on both sides

Larry Sinclair’s Full Statement
Sometimes, the more information you get, the more questions you have.
DBKP participated in a brief email exchange with Larry Sinclair Saturday, before he took his polygraph tests organized by whitehouse.com.
We had another brief exchange late Sunday night, after the polygraph tests were administered and whitehouse.com publicized their results as “showing deception”.
Sinclair pointed us toward a personal webpage which contained a statement concerning the polygraph results and a couple of other interesting additions.
We’d addressed the statement in an earlier article. We’re publishing the full text of Larry Sinclair’s statement, as well as some information about the polygraph expert that administered the test, Sinclair’s letter of February 4, 2007 to the Obama campaign and a comment from Reverse Speech.com.
While the issue of the polygraph expert’s credentials may raise some eyebrows, we’re publishing the rest without comment–the reader can draw his own conclusions.
We will only say that at this late hour, we’ve left our checking for tomorrow.
As we’ve stated before: at this point, no one but Larry Sinclair and Barack Obama knows the truth of the matter.
Everything else is conjecture–by proponents of both sides.
DBKP is attempting at the moment to check on a few details of the story: to either corroborate or disprove the story presented by Larry Sinclair.
We’ve gotten no help in this regard from Sinclair. We think that, while he had to know he was in for abuse by coming forth with this story, he’s going to have to provide some hard evidence to shore is declining credibility.
We will only add that the Washington Post story–circulated in an email–that Sinclair refers to in his statement, is a fabrication (as we reported yesterday).
The following is the complete contents, minus one angry comment from an Obama supporter, of the site Larry Sinclair directed us to.
We’d also like to commend whitehouse.com for their organizing the polygraph tests–there were two, as well as a drug test–in an attempt to provide some information in the Larry Sinclair saga.

Follow-up comment rss or Leave a TrackbackMost people are probably swayed by all the talk shows
that do polygraphs to ensure their ratings.
In the real world, they are only considered a tool. There
are too many variables when considering human response/
behavior and the truth is some people can fool the test.
Given that, there are false positives, also.
There is also no doubt that some polygraphers are better
than others. I’ve used a few and have been polygraphed
numerous times in the course of my employment.
This is the reason polygraphs can’t be used in court.
Because of this, I suspect that a lot of people will be
arguing the validity of this one for a long time.
Did anyone doubt that two failed polygrapghs wouldn’t be enough proof to stop the kook or his following of kookies? I, for one, held my tongue and waited for the results before feeling justified in my first impression of Sinclair’s accusations (which had more to do with Sinclair than Obama, who is not my choice for president). Enough is enough and it’s time for Sinclair to give up the fantasy — it would be difficult to find an average, homely, powerless and openly homosexual man willing to have relations with someone like Larry!
Facts, evidence, investigations, proof … none of it matters to people hell bent on believing what they want to believe.
When you say, “..no one but Larry Sinclair and Barack Obama knows the truth of the matter.” you’re playing a bad card and it’s pathetic. Obama shouldn’t even have to answer these questions because they’re obviously slanderous accusations and lies, that exist for a fact in the mind of Sinclair. By responding it becomes a case of he said he said, and is pointless. This story is dead. It never even should have been allowed. But to indicate that Obama should come out and answer this, or take a polygraph himself is asking a great candidate to stoop to the level of insanity…
I totally agree, Irish. Just imagine random people all making videos for you tube accusing candidates of whatever behavior pops into their heads. This “story” was ridiculous from the very beginning. I cannot wait until the people behind Sinclair are exposed. THAT will be the real story.
