For "zemo":

McCain and Cindy met in 1979. They were married in May of 1980, one month after his divorce from first wife Carol. McCain has said the failure of his first marriage was due to his selfishness and immaturity. He has seven children -- three from his first marriage, four from his second. His son Jimmy is in Iraq.

Obama and Michelle met in 1989 and were married in 1992. They have two daughters.

It's very obvious that Liberals don't place much importance on a candidate's personal affairs (no pun intended) but the party that describes itself as the one of "family values" DOES. It's being brought up because of the nature of the current story being discussed and perfectly understandable why people are mentioning the Republican candidate's "family values", including his divorce. Think back to the year 2004 ... Republicans felt very differently when it was the Democratic presidential candidate who had been divorced. And while I see you apparently put quite a bit of faith in every accusation contained in the you tube video you've easily dismissed the possibility of an improper relationship with Iseman while glossing over the issue of McCain's lobbyist ties in what seems to be your "ultra-rightwing argument".

Fascinating how obama-krishna-moonies keep trying to remind others that John McCain "has done it before" while repeating they don't care about that sort of thing because they're so liberal.
Truth is, they DO care, and they are bracing for the worst, hoping for all hope this Sinclair goes away.
If it doesn't matter, why do you keep bringing it up?
And of course you would leave out the crack-smoking in making the ultra-liberal argument that it's "just a blow-job from a hobo in a limo anyway."

I can see that campaign slogan now, "It was just a blow job from a hobo in a limo...BLOWBAMA 2008

As for the desperate equalizer in McCain's having "done it before..."
He and his wife celebrate their 30th anniversary this year. They have 2 sons serving in Iraq and Afghanistan. They have other children (I believe at least one is adopted, not sure). These things are points of actual record.

As for his first marriage, I don't know if it ended because of infidelity as much as other issues(would they be the first and has he been throwing stones on the issue to deserve this?). I would imagine after 5 years in a vietnamese prison, perhaps people return to find their marriages and parts of their lives have suffered irreparable damage. They could be commended for putting much of their lives back together in such remarkable fashion.

Well, JJ, I don't believe any of these type of stories without a little more information/proof, regardless of the party. I'm not exactly an Obama supporter but the possibility of people automatically believing a YouTube video posted by some random person is absolutely hilarious as far as I'm concerned ... much more so than giving consideration to a MSM report. I don't place nearly as much importance on the private sex lives of our candidates as I do their positions of issues, though as Ken points out it wouldn't be totally out of character for McCain. In the end, neither "reports" would sway my vote.

Through all of this, I just can't help thinking of the actual court papers filed against Bush by a Texas woman (Margie Shoedinger, now deceased) and how the MSM totally ignored the story of sitting President being accused of sexual assault. You would think in the very least a major news outlet would have given it a mention, possibly even attempted to disprove the claims. The silence of THAT doesn't outrage the blogging community but ignoring a YouTube video DOES? These are bizarre times we live in.

At least it can be substantiated that McCain and that lobbyist have ever met each other. And let's be honest, McCain has a prior history of adultery so it wouldn't be out of character for him. I don't hate John McCain. I don't care if he had an affair. But it's nowhere near as absurd as this utterly ridiculous and completely unsubstantiated sexual fantasy being shared by an ex-convict, drug addict nutjob on youtube. let him offer a shred of proof.

Polygraphs are garbage, by the way. They don't prove anything...not that I expect the whitehouse.com test to be anywhere near on the level. Larry Sinclair is not a secret to Obama supporters. Everybody already knows about it and recognizes it for the asinine fantasy that it is.

Bottom line, the only people who are buying this nonsense are morons and partisan, right wing knuckle draggers who would never vote for Obama anyway.

By the way. No one on the left really cares about the McCain thing either. Even the rest of the MSM is dismissing it. Liberals don't care about candidates' personal sex lives.

One last thing. Ecen if Obama did hypothetically get a BJ from some hobo in the back of a limo? So what? That's not against the law. It didn't happen but it would be meaningless if it did.

Fox is accusing the New York Times of a lack of integrity? This is like PAt Buchanan accusing Ted Kennedy of being a Fascist.

In answer to all the whining that the NY Times, as well as the MSM aren't carrying the Sinclair story, neither are Limbaugh, FOX ( so far ), nor the NY Post, all of which hate Obama. The story isn't being carried because, as a blogger named Mau put it: All this guy ( Sinclair ) proves is that he's a drug addicted cock sucker in search of an easy buck'

Add to this that Sinclair is a Ron Paul operative:

Let's see what the polygraph test says, Sinclair is taking it on Feb 26th. As for Ruth saying "Supporters just recognize a lie when they see one", that's pretty scary, sounds like Ruth has been brainwashed to believe Obama walks on water. As an Independent, I have finally been turned off Obama because of the fanaticism of his supporters. 100 years in Iraq is better than a demi-god President with throngs of worshippers.
